#one punch man #I forgot how into opm I was like.. 7 years ago #getting back into it bc I finally watched s2 like two days ago lol #and I’m gonna say the second season. was pretty good #definitely a little bloated but the second half was fun #excited for s3 the preview looked nice #and I hope they keep that old school look s1 one had if that makes sense??#it could just be that it came out mid 2010s but it my fav part was like the desperate animation styles #and I just hope they don’t try to make it look too glossy and modern??#this is coming from someone who watches like 3 anime and half of them are from the 90s pls don’t take me too seriously haha

Didn't know how much I wanted that job until I got the rejection email 🥲

#i mean. i knew i wanted it #because it's my dream job #i had an internship there a few years ago and loved it #i wasn't sure i was ready to move back closer to home because i really love my job and friends and community where i am #but i do miss my family and i don't want to miss my sister's entire adolescence #i went off to college when she was 3 #she is now 10 #and she needs her sister 🥺#so yeah i'm actually surprised i'm fighting tears at this #i also miss autumn. boy do i miss living somewhere with seasons #could be because a friend recently passed away and like me his family lived far far away #and that puts things in perspective #anyway i'm gonna leave work early and console myself by buying a fall scented candle at target #🥲#i have to remind myself i've only been in the job market for like a year and a half #of course i wasn't the most qualified candidate out of 175 #but i had at least hoped to be referred to a hiring manager #federal jobs are dang near impossible to attain in my field of work #tag rant

#I've always had kinda like....petty beef with ninj//ago just cause like. EVERYONE compares it to monkie kid #When they r just not comparable beyond the surface level observation that its legos #Like ninj//ago contributes to the idea of an Asian monolith and uh. It's annoying to me.#It's also so thematically empty and they just reset shit whenever and it barely has characters. It's not good #Which makes me feel crazy when lmk is SO good. Like so so so good #Let it be known I've seen all that's out of drag//on rising #the first 3 seasons of the og show. And I skimmed through possession seabound and both crystal king parts #Gotta say. Sea Nya slaps like what the hell #Ninj//ago isn't good but that was legitimately like. Awesome #So there are officially 1 and a half episodes that I find thematically banging #I'm always a sucker for there being no good choice but still having to choose. Like I am. What decision can you live with #But Nya losing herself to the Sea? Losing her own breath and inhaling the sea to remove the water out of Jay's lungs?#The fact that she only became the water ninja because her friends needed her which eventually pushed her into this fate #Making it so she couldn't remember who she was or what her loved ones meant to her?#Her convo with nyad was like #duuddeeeeeeeeeee. brooooooo #Like she became eternal and endless. #the brain has decided the next hyperfixation is smallville/clois so i will do a proper first watch of the first 7 seasons (and some s8 eps-#(i was 7 when this show came out and then at 15 one day when i was off school they had an s8 rerun going because s9 started #can't remember if i watched some beginning eps or started with committed-ICON EP but then i watched all of s9 i think or started from rabid #then all of s10...clois had me hooked with the chemistry plus it was superman so)#and then a rewatch of half o 8 9 and 10 #i did try to start it 2 years ago or something when it was playing on tv but it kept glitching back to the start ep so i gave up #i went from watching one clois video out of nowhere and the brain wants to watch it #ffs lois doesnt show up until s4 #might try and watch 3 eps of the 3 seasons because i want to get to her seasons faster #who knows maybe i'll gif something #also the 90s lois and clark show is in my mind too...i did catch a bit of that when i was young and loved that too #and the christopher reeves movies #i wont talk about the 2005 and the other one those didn't really hold my interest as much from what i remember

#a friend of mine is coming over sometime this week to come look at the kittens she says she wants All of them 😭#like damn okay. that would be a miracle and a half #the shelter is full atm what with kitten season #meanwhile the dynamic between the cats has kinda switched. orb really doesn't give a shit about dragon anymore #and dragon is the one who is very unamused now #he's all bark no bite though he'll hiss at them and growl and whine but he's still a scaredycat by nature #so he can usually be satiated into just grumpily hanging out if i just talk to him very gently. he's a good boy like that #definitely progress is being made though idk if i mentioned that a couple weeks ago dragon gave sven a THOROUGH sniffing #and they've eaten treats together all 3 of them #so proud of them......
