A comprehensive list of the Bohemian Rhapsody references in Wanderer’s character:
His previous name, Scaramouche, is mentioned twice in one lyric of the song.
His statement of, “I wish I'd never been born at all.” from the 3.3 quest trailer, his More About (Wanderer): IV voice line, and in-game interlude quest correlates to a well-known line from the song: “I sometimes wish I’d never been born at all.”
The Raiden Shogun’s name is Beelzebul, referencing the lyric: “Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me.” with the devil referencing the Wanderer.
His character demo video, found here, is titled “Wanderer: Any Way the Wind Blows.” This phrase is the ending lyric from Bohemian Rhapsody.
Similarly, in his voice line Feelings About Ascension: Building up, he says, “The wind is blowing this way,” referencing the same line as before.
The lyrics “So you think you can love me and leave me to die” and the repeated mention of a “mama,” whom the song is being addressed to might refer to both the Wanderer’s experience of being abandoned by the Shogun as well as the perceived betrayals that came after.
In his Least Favorite Foods voice line, he states, “I'm no fan of Dango.” This alludes to the ever-quoted lyric in relation to his character: “Scaramouch, Scaramouch, will you do the Fandango!”
His knowledge on the real nature of the stars and sky that he gained from the Unreconciled Stars event can be summarized with: “Is this the real life? / Is this just fantasy?” along with various other lyrics from the song.
His Fallen voice line: “Everything... was futile...” might be referencing the reoccurring line, “Nothing really matters.” This line may also be relevant to his knowledge of the sky.
The trailer for the Unreconciled Stars event, his character drip announcement, and his first appearance all occur on the anniversary of the song’s release. (Sourced from an Anon)
The domain that he was abandoned in after his creation is called Caught in a Landslide, which is another lyric in Bohemian Rhapsody. (Sourced from @kindleln in the replies)
In the 3.3 interlude Archon quest, Nahida near-quotes the lyric “Is this just fantasy?” by saying “This is just a fantasy.” She says this in a conversation with the Wanderer. (Sourced from @hemlockalope in the replies)
Scaramouce’s boss battle theme from before when he became the Wanderer is titled “Let’s Do The Fandango!” As stated before, this references a fairly iconic line from the song, especially as this occurs while he is still identifiable under the name Scaramouche. Similarly, another theme called “Ominous Fandango” is played during the Unreconciled Stars event, in which he was first introduced. It is worth mentioning that the Fandango is a sort of dance, which can apply to the mentions of a dance he performed when he lived with the sword smiths of the Raiden Gokoden. It is also an insult meaning fool, which makes sense when compared to how he speaks to others. (Partially sourced from @changing-shades in the replies)
Please let me know if I missed anything! I will add it to the post as I compile more information.

lost all my ability to be normal about kazuscara when kazuha's last quest ended with him forgiving the "kunikuzushi" he read about in his great-grandfather's letter and expressing desire to hear his side of the truth, and then now, in the most recent archon quest, we have scaramouche lowkey expressing a desire to be stabbed in the heart and killed by a descendant of a raiden gokkaden clan.
it's all so juicy and fruity. puzzle pieces falling into place. i wanna burst into tears. god. i am barely hanging onto my last shred of self-preservation. mihoyo, i need them to meet.

So a lot of people are not talking about this yet, but I may as well just point it out in case many were confused with it. So during the moment Wanderer’s memory was nearly restored, we see him reaching out for a light. As soon as he reaches, we see him grab a hand that closely resembles Scaramouche’s. But I don’t think of that as a case.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This hand can also resemble the same thing he had during the first phase of his life as Kabukimoto/Kunkuzushi. of course we never get to see the full appearance of him in the cutscene because his clothing model was never made. So the hand of Kabukimoto in the gameplay version is going to be the closest we’ll ever get of him.
Soon after Wanderer grabs Kabukimoto’s is when he feels someone grab his other hand and turns in surprise to see Scaramouche:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The last part can closely resemble the three parts of Wanderer’s life accepting one another and therefore merging to be the current Wanderer we have now. He no longer feels the need to resist who he is and who he once was, giving him the freedom he needs to receive his vision/heart.
Now this is what I’m seeing here. But if I’m wrong, let me know what you guys think. I just thought I put it out here because I was having trouble sleeping just thinking about this.

i think of it as an homage to makoto. where ei was the shadow to makoto's light. i do like the hc that the prototype puppet reminded ei of makoto, especially since makoto herself had an interest in dreams and the fleeting nature of humanity.
Tumblr media
the puppet crying in his sleep when he received ei's heart, and saying lines similar of that of makoto's final thoughts for ei just solidifies that theory:
Scaramouche: Eternity stretches things out over a long time. But each moment within it becomes all the more fragile.
From the Archon quest: Omnipresence Over Mortals - Delusion
Makoto: Eternity extends time into infinity, dreams illuminate each moment within.
From the story quest: Transient Dreams - Radiant Sakura
that being said, i do think it's interesting that he was both the perfect blend of ei's curiosity and cluelessness about mortality and makoto's understanding of their transience upon experiencing grief
makes you wonder if makoto herself had human relations as the electro archon before the calamity
either way, i wanted to put a pin on the wanderer's bright-eyed view of life before he faced grief. it's such a specific aspect of him that still shines through to his current incarnation
Look. The birds are showing off their plumage, the squirrels are busy hoarding food, and humans are laboring for their livelihoods. Truly, simple animals don't need anything complicated to be fulfilled.
From Wanderer's voice lines: Interesting Things

Analysis of Scaramouche and Bohemian Rhapsody’s lyrics
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality Open your eyes, look up to the skies and see
As Scaramouche himself says, “The stars, the sky... It's all a gigantic hoax. A lie.", likely in reference to discovering that the sky in Teyvat is fake, as hinted by Dottore.
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy Because I'm easy come, easy go, little high, little low Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me
Reference to Scaramouche’s anemo vision and blasé attitude
Mama, just killed a man Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, now he's dead Mama, life had just begun But now I've gone and thrown it all away
I think this could be referring to either many of the plausible deaths he caused, or maybe even his death as a god. “Life had just begun” for him as a god and he “threw it all away.”
Mama, ooh, didn't mean to make you cry If I'm not back again this time tomorrow Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters
Generally referring to his negative relationship with Raiden Ei and thinking she had abandoned him for being weak, possibly in an ironic way, telling her to “carry on” as if she even thought twice about him after ‘abandoning him’.
Too late, my time has come Sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all the time Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go
After being defeated by Nahida and the Traveler and gravely injured. As he says in “Wanderer: Ashes, “Once more... I have lost my heart. It hurts. My skin feels like it’s on fire.”
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Entering Irmunsul to “face the truth” and attempt to erase himself.
Mama, ooh  I don't wanna die I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all
Spoken by him in ‘Wanderer: Ashes’: “No, in fact, I wish I’d never been born at all.”
I see a little silhouetto of a man Scaramouche, Scaramouche,-
Obviously ‘Scaramouche’ is his name given during his time at the Fauti, likely as an insult as it means “a boastful but cowardly person.” It could also refer to a type of puppet.
-will you do the Fandango?
The theme during Scaramouche’s first introduction is named “Ominous Fandango”, Also, in his profile under “Least Favorite Food” he states: “I'm no fan of Dango, or any other sticky sweets....” which is an odd way to word it, possibly intentional so it reads out “fan … Dango.” Raiden Ei, notably, is a fan of dango milk and sweets in general.
Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening me
Reference to Raiden Shogun and Inazuma as a whole.
(Galileo) Galileo, (Galileo) Galileo, Galileo Figaro magnifico
Galileo was an astronomer who challenged beliefs held at the time, such as the Sun being the center of the universe rather than the Earth. This could be referring to the idea that the sky in Teyvat is fake, as hinted by Dottore. Scaramouche also proclaims himself, “The stars, the sky... It's all a gigantic hoax. A lie." It’s very possible that Scara, upon becoming a god and making contact with Irminsul, learned the true nature of Teyvat and its sky. (Credit to Scara’s wiki for pointing this out)
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me!
Raiden Ei’s demon name is Baal/Beelzebub. I think the “devil” she put aside for him may be referring to Yae Miko, who proposed to Ei that Scaramouche should be killed shortly after his birth instead of set free.
So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye? So you think you can love me and leave me to die? Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby! Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here
This could be about all three of his ‘betrayals.’ The line “So you think you can love me and leave me to die?” makes me think of the child who ‘betrayed him’ by dying, and ‘Just gotta get out’ could be referring to him leaving Tatarasuna to wander Inazuma.
There’s probably a lot that I missed, but this is what I took of how the lyrics correspond to his story. Again, credit to his wikipedia page for pointing out a lot of this
