BIG 5 POST #2: HOW THE BIG 5 CORRELATES TO THE 4 GREEK TEMPERAMENTS
Here's some correlations I found a few months ago between the Big 5 and the 4 Greek Temperaments:

Mythological Horse Girls
It recently dawned on me that Sun Wukong from Chinese myth and Poseidon from Greek myth have something in common: they are both the god of horses!
1. Background
Sun Wukong
In chapter four of Journey to the West (Xiyouji, 西遊記, 1592), Monkey is invited to heaven to serve as the Bimawen (弼馬溫, “To assist horse temperament”), a minor post overseeing the celestial horse stables (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 1, p. 148). He takes the position seriously, caring for nearly 1,000 horses day and night, making sure they are all well-fed, exercised, and rested (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 1, p. 149). His position gives him power over all horses, even those of mortal stock. Chapter 14 reads:
When the horse saw [Wukong], its torso slackened and its legs stiffened. In fear and trembling, it could hardly stand up. For you see, that monkey had been a [Bimawen], who used to look after dragon horses in the celestial stables. His authority was such that horses of this world inevitably would fear him when they saw him (Wu & Yu, 2012, vol. 1, p. 309). [1]
Tumblr media
Poseidon
He is considered the creator or even father of horses. Hard (2019) explains:
He was widely worshipped as Poseidon Hippios (the Lord of Horses), horses played a prominent part in his cult, and legend even presented him as the father of the first horse. [...] A legend from Thessaly in the north-east, which was a centre for the breeding of horses, represented Poseidon as the progenitor of the entire equine race. For when he had once been lying asleep in that land (where he was honoured under the title of Petraios, ‘he of the rock’), he had shed some of his semen on to the rocky ground, fertilizing the earth and so causing it to bring forth the first horse, Scyphios. Or, in some later accounts, he caused that earth to bring forth Scyphios (and Areion too in one version) by striking the ground with his trident. Or, in secondary versions that were developed at Athens, Poseidon fertilized the ground at Colonos, just outside the city, to produce the first horse, here called Sceironites, or else caused it to spring from the ground with a blow of his trident while competing with Athena for possession of Attica (pp. 126 and 127).
Astute readers will notice that Poseidon's other title, Petraios ("He of the Rock"), and ability to create life from stone is also related to Sun Wukong. You can read more about divine lithic births here.

2. Horse Girls Unite!
I previously thought of a UA where Heracles, guardian of the Buddha, is called in place of Erlang to end Monkey's rebellion in chapter six. And after Wukong achieves Buddhahood in chapter 100, the Tathagata asks Heracles to take Monkey through the Greek World system. There, the Victorious Fighting Buddha would no doubt learn of Poseidon's connection to horses.
I think both would bond over a mutual love for horses, perhaps geeking out about the subject for hours.

Notes:
1) This power was given to Monkey by the Jade Emperor, who gives him the Bimawen post. This was pointed out to me by Irwen Wong of the Journey to the West Library blog.

Note
alright so let me get this straight:
Kanto and Johto were under the iron grip of the Yakuza/Mafia empire.
Hoenn has Legendary Pokémon with Greek god style temperaments.
Sinnoh is stuck with some LOZ reincarnation bs.
Unova got frozen over like NYC in the day after tomorrow.
Kalos is probably the most sane Region here.
Alola is a shitshow of entire islands getting burned, illegal Alien poaching, and Rainbow rocket’s shenanigans.
Galar has a cosmic horror and like some weird Dark souls/cyberpunk stuff
And Paldea’s stuck in a limbo of past and future where primeval monsters and futuistic descendants roam around, Geeta, Nemona and blueberry elite 4 are evil, and Kieran pulls a Majora and turns whoever are his enemies into MASKS.
Did I miss anything?
YOU GOT BASICALLY EVERYTHING YUP!

NAME:  Laurent De Chevaliers BIRTHPLACE: Paris, France NICKNAMES: The Maestro AGE: 35 HEIGHT: 6ft 1
EYE COLOUR: Blue HAIR COLOUR: Blonde, worn long to his shoulders. SEXUALITY: Bisexual OCCUPATION: Hollywood/Freelance composer HUNTER/GATHERER?: Neither

TW: 20+ year age gap, Coercion, blackmail (if you squint)
Laurent was born in Paris to Louis and Adeline De Chevaliers, 2 well known bohemian/hippies who were semi-successful authors. They did not take much to do with their son.
Laurent was an only child, cared for mostly by his rich Grandmother Sylvia who lived in a lavish apartment close to the Louvre. She was a strict, but overtly glamorous woman that Laurent adored.
Laurent grew into a snippy, vain teenager that liked to smoke long cigarettes in Parque Monceau, and drink cheap bottles of Champagne with his other music obsessed friends.
Laurent met Claude Babineaux when he was 16 and by the time they were 17, they were dating. Claude was a quiet but handsome boy that Laurent had teased mercilessly until Claude had kissed him hard on the Pont Neuf.
Claude came from a very well of family, and was adamant that his father could not find out about them. Laurent agreed and their relationship became a clandestine one, were they met mostly at his grandmothers apartment, or out in public. This continued for 2 years.
Laurent was 19 and just about to start at The Conservatoire de Paris, when Claude's father paid him a visit. Mr Babineaux was 20 years his senior and offered Laurent a cool few million and a place at the prestigious Université Côte d'Azur in Nice if he cut all contact with his son.
24 hours previously, Laurent had sat with Claude in Parque Monceau and told him he loved him. Now, he was taking money from his lovers father. The night ended with Laurent on his back and Mr Babineauxs hand in his hair. Laurent couldn't quite figure out which was the worst part. The fact that he so willingly took a bribe from his boyfriends father, or the fact that he fucked him afterward.
The next morning, Laurent was on a train to Nice and had cut all contact with Claude. He has not seen him since and often wonders does he know what Laurent did that night. Did that hurt more than the leaving. Laurent thinks about Claude often, but the memories are all sad ones now.
Laurent moved to Monaco after his graduation, and began working for the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. He played First chair Violin for 7 years, before becoming a conductor for 2.
It was around a year or so before he came to America, that he began writing his own scores for sale to Hollywood. He remained with the philharmonic and this is were most of his wage came from, but his freelance composing earned him a hefty penny on the side.
Laurent was invited to Hollywood to work as lead composer for some high brow, multimillion dollar period piece, so he left his home in Monaco about 4 months ago.
Laurent's eccentric uncle Phillipe had lived on a ranch in Virginia since the late 90s, fulfilling some strange cowboy fancy. Laurent flew to NYC and then, took a trip down south to visit his Uncle before ultimately, flying on out to California.
On the way down, in a car just small enough for the tight little country roads, Laurent got good and lost and when he did finally find a store to pop into for directions, it was too late. Huntsville had him.
He tried and tried, for a solid month to get out, driving for hours and always finding himself back at the same fucking welcome sign. It was enough to drive him mad for a while.
So, he went out and bought a Piano and a cheap violin that he replaced all the strings on, and shoved it all into an apartment that was so terribly small he almost knocked the kitchen wall through to make some space. For the past month, he's been writing, playing and drinking red wine while he pours over books in a bar downtown.
Lil' Bits.
He's a right handed Scorpio, who likes a good Bouillabaisse and thinks rock music is just the fucking worst.
He often wears fine tailored suits and likes a Cuban heel.
His teeth are perfect, 0 fillings and 0 issues EVER. He's very smug about it
He drinks champagne and red wine mostly, but will maybe indulge in the odd whiskey sour.
French is his native language, but he also speaks English and German. He can speak a little Spanish but doesn't quite understand it well enough to hold a conversation. He refuses to speak Italian.
His favourite colours are Blue, Silver and White
He holidayed in Portugal before coming to America and found it too Touristy but adored the dancing culture
He has worn his hair long since he was 15. This man is also waxed from the eyebrows DOWN.
He prefers playing the Piano and Violin, but can also play the Harpsicord and the Guitar (though he isn't overly great at either)
He has a thing for muscles and long necks. He likes brunette women and men that look like him.

KH OC Week Day 4 - Alternate Universes
Obligatory Dæmon AU? Obligatory Dæmon AU!
Tumblr media
Name: Eligia (from a Latin word that means “to choose”, a variant of the name for the patron saint of metalworkers), aka “Eli”
Human: Ferrum
Settled Form: Lioness (Panthera leo)
Lions are considered to be symbols of authority, strength, and courage in many cultures. Despite being well-known as apex predators, they are also notable for spending most of the day resting and socializing with other members of their pride while only hunting in short spurts.
Eligia is a bit more reserved and openly wary of strangers at first than Ferrum. However, she is still just as adept at socializing with other dæmons as he is with people and is notably more physically affectionate. Eli makes a terrifying impression when she’s barring her teeth at serious threats, but she’s usually the one who has to tell Ferrum to calm down and not get stressed out over trivial things.
Tumblr media
Name: Oline (variant of an Old Norse name formed from two elements meaning “ancestor” and “inheritance/legacy”)
Human: Brandr
Settled Form: Barn Owl (Tyto alba), almost pure white due to leucism (aka a lack of normal pigmentation but without the red eyes seen in true albinism)
Considered an ill omen in many cultures, barn owls are known for their piercing cry and silent flight that makes them more eerie than other owls. Despite being predators, they are also known to get picked on by smaller birds when trying to hunt outside of their nocturnal cycle. In the HDM series, certain types of bird dæmons are associated with witches and the supernatural.
No one’s sure whether Oline’s odd coloration for a barn owl is a result of Brandr’s powers or not, but her ghostly appearance is appropriate as most people never hear a word out of her even when Brandr’s in a talkative mood. She helps him keep his thoughts focused on the present as she’s only partially affected by the visions. Oline has a better grasp of what’s socially acceptable and will dig her talons into Brandr’s shoulder whenever he’s being too brutally honest to someone who doesn’t deserve it.
Tumblr media
Name: Jarl (means “chieftain/nobleman” in Old Norse, fitting Vi’s sense of self-importance)
Human: Virdandi
Settled Form: Domestic Dog (Canis lupus familiaris), specifically a Borzoi/Russian Wolfhound, jet black with no markings
Borzois might be awkward-looking dogs but the breed’s original purpose was to aid in hunting wolves. They are typically athletic and independent, but also selective learners who quickly get bored with repetitive activity and are stubborn when not motivated properly. Black dogs are also ill omens in several cultures.
Jarl has a slightly calmer temperament that balances out Virdandi’s heightened emotions. He keeps her from getting too focused on one thing to the detriment of everything else and has to constantly remind her to slow down and think for a second. Even though dæmons don’t usually speak in the presence of other people, it’s not uncommon for Virdandi and Jarl to start arguing out loud in public when their mental discussions get out of hand.
Tumblr media
Name: Gnosis (means “knowledge” in Greek, with “knowledge” in this case referring to “personal awareness” compared to intellectual knowledge)
Human: Sophia
Settled Form: Hooded Crow (Corvus cornix)
Crows as a whole are intelligent and sociable birds. The hooded crow, easily distinguishable from other crows due to its ash grey body that contrasts its black head and wings, is also noted for being more tolerant of other birds in its space than other crow species. In Irish mythology, however, the hooded crow is associated with a goddess of war called the Badb who appeared as a harbinger of bloodshed or to cause chaos on the battlefield.
Gnosis is much more open about his negative emotions than Sophia, glaring at people with open hostility even as she’s trying to defuse a situation. Although he shares Sophia’s distaste for violence just for the sake of it, the dæmon prefers to get fights over and done with as quickly as possible instead of trying to run from an inevitable conflict. Gnosis pushes Sophia to stand up for herself and not let others take advantage of her caring nature.
Tumblr media
Name: Lucretia (derived from the Latin word meaning “profit, wealth”)
“Human”: Nemus
Settled Form: Jewel Scarab (Chrysina aurigans)
Chrysina aurigans is a species of scarab beetle known for its metallic golden coloring due to the unique way in which light refracts through its multi-layered elytra. In Egyptian mythology, scarabs were associated with the sun as well as rebirth and regeneration.
The scientists who created Nemus didn’t even bother to give his dæmon a name so Lucertia chose her own when she and Nemus moved to Scala ad Caelum. Due to her size and shape, she will pretend to be a piece of jewelry or ornamentation sometimes in order to spy on people. Lucretia only speaks up to help Nemus maintain the lies he tells about his past and to keep his story straight. She’s much more cautious and calculating, always watching everyone around her with suspicious eyes as she’s terrified of physical contact with humans and other dæmons.

If you take a look at our database, you’ll find that HOLLAND BRIGHT BRYANT is a 22 year old WAITRESS  & MUSIC STORE CLERK that’s been in Chicago for 4 YEARS. According to the file, they’re a mutant on LEVEL TWO with the power of POWER MIMICRY. That must be why they’re QUIET and GUARDED. If you ask me, they remind me of cassette tapes, stacks of old video games, messy red hair, english accents & brightly colored clothing. They are affiliated with NO ONE.

Birthplace: Surrey, UK
Parentage: Daniel and Morgan
Greek Zodiac: Gemini
Element: Air
Myers Briggs: tbd
Temperament: Melancholic
Seven Roles:  tbd
Alignment: Chaotic Good
BIOGRAPHY:
Daniel Bright and Morgan Lee met in college where Daniel was studying to be a geneticist and Morgan was studying biology. The two only met because they both had a work ethic that was better than most of the other students at the college. They quickly found that they both liked to be in the labs at the same time and started hanging out outside of working on their own projects. Though they had few friends, it was no surprise to anyone that the two of them started dating and got married. Both of them landed jobs in their respective fields after graduating with PhDs. Not long after Cassidy was born and the family moved to a comfortable home in Surrey. Three years after Cassidy came their son, Henry. Holland was a bit of an accident, but none the less an excitement to the family. By the time Holland was born, both Daniel and Morgan knew about the existence of mutants, given their respective scientific fields and they were both terrified of anything different. So they sheltered their children.
While Holland’s childhood was particularly boring and not very interesting, she was mostly raised by her siblings. Until 2003 things in her life were relatively normal. Although the Brights did their best to shelter their children from the news, the two older children were able to pick up on what was going on around them. Holland, being too young to understand, had no idea what her parents were involved with, which was fine enough for her parents. Holland’s life mostly didn’t change, but she noticed her parents pulling away from society more and more. Their Surrey home traded for a house up north in the country. Then things started disappearing: phones, television, radio. The books she had access to, changed to older book, written before her time with no events from the present. She didn't know any better, though her siblings did. When she turned thirteen, her brother left home and her parents became unhinged, opening up their home to other like minded people, creating a community behind closed doors. A humans only society, though Holland didn't know this at the time.
Instead of going to school like a normal child, the Bright family previously homeschooled their children, then let their community teach them. The people in their community were well vetted individuals. Anything strange or unusual was reported on by other members and then the guilty party was forced to leave, or so Holland was told. If that was actually the case, she wasn't told otherwise. Since most media was banned from their house, so she learned to draw, learned to entertain herself with whatever her parents did allow in the house. Holland grew up hearing arguments between her older sister and her parents about how they were prisoners in their own home, yet they still had more freedoms to leave than Holland ever had. But it was the only thing she’d ever known, so how could she complain?
Holland always felt like a bit of an outsider among her family members, though she never knew why, nor would she get an explanation for years. Her life was a constant state of not feeling like she could trust or talk to anyone. She grew into a kid surrounded by money, surrounded by people, but isolated and lonely to a point that she was sure other people didn’t live like this. Years and years of asking her parents why they weren’t allowed to leave the house and go into town and why they had to learn from tutors rather than school like some people. She never got an answer.
By the time she was fifteen, her siblings had moved out by then, it was only Holland and her parents. Cassidy did come home often, as she ended up in school not too far away, but Holland never heard from her brother. Holland was told there were monsters in the world. People capable of harming her without touching her. Where she lived, the community her parents created was a safe haven from these monster, since some of them looked like regular humans while others were monstrous beings. Holland was told she was safe at home, safe behind closed doors and away from the general public. “We’re doing everything we can to protect you from them,” her mom said, misty eyed. And who was Holland to distrust anything her mom said? “We want to stop these monsters from hurting people,” her dad told her. Holland believed him. Her parents gave her more freedoms then, more books to read and information about the world around her, even if it was all a lie. Misinformation written by members of the community in order to show her what kinds of people there were in the world.
Holland believed them, until she was eighteen and found a locked door in the mansion and her parents' Doomsday plan. Their plan to rid the world of the monsters she'd been told about. They'd been working with the American government. They had helped to create a drug that neutralized their power. And soon they'd find a way to weaponize those with powers. Holland's blood turned to ice as she read more. Her parents had blood samples of everyone in the community, including her own blood. Clicking on her own file lead to a discovery that she had powers. Beneath her name: neutralized. But what did that mean? Horrified by this information, she stole a bunch of money from her parents, paid someone to forge documents with a new name, and moved out of the country. If she kept a low enough profile, her parents would never find her. After all, they’d never found Henry.
She settled in Chicago, a bigger city feeling safer as she could blend in with large amounts of people. That was four years ago. Since then, she has not done much progress on figuring out the mutant world, but he’s still trying to figure out who she is. She’s still very scared of mutants and being one herself. However, she’s trying to be better at it. Holland found out what her power was on accident, by running straight into a mutant. There was a fear response to it and she immediately ran away, scared out of her mind. Now Holland works as a waitress and at a music store, trying her best to stay blended in with her surroundings.

Book review: Daughters of Sparta
⭐️: 4/5
The Daughters of Sparta is a retelling of the Trojan War from the perspective of Helen and her sister, Klytemnestra. As someone who is a fan of retellings and anything with the Iliad, Odyssey, Greek mythology…etc., this was exactly the book for me.
*there will be spoilers ahead but the spoilers are all in the Iliad so if you’ve read that book, or don’t mind seeing minor (and a major) spoiler, read on.
There are three key points I want to talk about, the plot, the characters and the writing.
The Plot:
Honestly, I think the plot was very well unfolded, there was good character building, and, every action done by the characters not only followed what happened in the Epic’s, but also explained why the actions happened. I’ll explain, this in the characters section. Aside from that, both perspectives have me a lot of insight into the girl’s lives and proved to be very enjoyable, (albeit saddening at some points).
The Characters:
First, Klytemnestra, who really takes most of the focus in the book. She is written as a very unique character, at least compared to how I have seen women written as of late. She is young, yes, but the author really portrays her desire to have children and be a wife and mother. I honestly think that is so so amazing. For me, I adore the whole ‘badass woman’ troupe that’s been appearing in books (especially the ones I read) but it gets tiring when these women also reject their femininity because it’s ‘weak’. Seeing Klytemnestra embrace it really made me happy. I understand that she didn’t have much of a choice in the matter, but in fairness, is a different time.
Secondly, Helen, who does a full 180 and also shows difference in temperament, desires and actions. While her sister is a lot stronger (in a sense), Helen is much softer. Throughout the book, Helen shows a desire to have no children, and her sister is the opposite. Lastly, while Klytemnestra took action against her husband and killed him, Helen stayed complacent and much more of a damsel then not.
I don’t say this to demean either of them, but rather point out how I loved the diversity between the two characters and how the author didn’t hold back showing the good and the bad.
Ok, regarding to what I said in the plot, the characters actions were very well done. For example: we see that Helen didn’t leave Menelaus on a whim (I.e. she saw a handsome guy and dipped), but rather, it was years and years of misunderstandings that built up into resentment.
Another example is Klytemnestra’s murder of Agamemnon, once again, although it was definitely deserved, we learned that it wasn’t JUST the fact that he murdered their daughter, it had a reason behind it. I also liked getting a backstory to the Priest’s grudge and why he told Agamemnon lies which then led to him sacrificing his daughter. Very tragic, but very well written.
The Writing:
This is where I will critique. It was very simple and bland. Was information told correctly and still interestingly enough that I kept reading? Yes, but it also did not hold the flair of what I’d expect for a book like this. Especially for Homer retellings, I’d expect at least a somewhat more poetic-like writing style but unfortunately I did not get that at all.
Final notes:
Overall, this book was good, and something I’d recommend to others. It’s an easy and simple read, I read it in practically one sitting on the train.
One little thing tho, although I have read Homer’s works (and The Aeneid which is a fanfic, and I will die on this hill) but since I’ve never studied these in depth. I say this because I know that the author has definitely missed or chosen to remove certain factors or aspects about characters that I have missed. My opinion may change if I ever decide to study these works and see that this isn’t as accurate as it should have been but for a light read, this was a good book.

After conquering the Albans with the duel between the Horatii and Curiatii, Tullus destroyed Alba Longa and deported its inhabitants to Rome. As Livy tells the story, omens (prodigia) in the form of a rain of stones occurred on the Alban Mount because the deported Albans had disregarded their ancestral rites linked to the sanctuary of Jupiter. In addition to the omens, a voice was heard requesting that the Albans perform the rites. A plague followed and at last the king himself fell ill. As a consequence, the warlike character of Tullus broke down; he resorted to religion and petty, superstitious practices. At last, he found a book by Numa recording a secret rite on how to evoke Iuppiter Elicius. The king attempted to perform it, but since he executed the rite improperly the god threw a lightning bolt which burned down the king's house and killed Tullus.
When approaching Rome (where Tarquin was heading to try his luck in politics after unsuccessful attempts in his native Tarquinii), an eagle swooped down, removed his hat, flew screaming in circles, replaced the hat on his head and flew away. Tarquin's wife Tanaquil interpreted this as a sign that he would become king based on the bird, the quadrant of the sky from which it came, the god who had sent it and the fact it touched his hat (an item of clothing placed on a man's most noble part, the head). The Elder Tarquin is credited with introducing the Capitoline Triad to Rome, by building the so-called Capitolium Vetus.

STUDY NOTES POST #5: SOJT TYPE RELATIONS TO THE ENNEAGRAM, ATTIDUINAL PSYCHE AND PSYCHOSOPHY PART 2: THE ENNEAGRAM
Right now, I'm only going to talk about typing my 200 dream people, I had previously typed in SOJT, in the Enneagram.
The first thing I did was figure out the cores of at least one person per SOJT type. In some cases, it was obvious that more than one core was represented within a SOJT type. In those cases, every person I felt might have a different core than the first, I typed their core as well.
I was able to confirm my core typings using "The Dynamic Enneagram " by Tom Condon. Even though the main purpose of using " The Dynamic Enneagram " was to type the instinctual variants and wings, it also proved useful in confirming that the cores. How? If the core was correct, I would very easily be able to identify the wing and instinctual variants of the person involved. However, if the core was wrong, the wings and instinctual variants made no sense at all for the person, or I found myself stretching what Tom Condon actually wrote to make them fit.
So, anyway, I eventually got some Enneagram cores that became "usual suspects " for SOJT t type families, and toward the end of the study, I would check and see if people from a particular SOJT type family had one of the usual suspects as an Enneagram core, before I would test them for a new one. However, if none of the usual suspects fit, then I *did* test them for their own Enneagram core.
I also associated the Enneagram cores, wings, and instinctual variants with primary temperaments, based on their likely Big 5 results. For more information on how to figure out people's primary and secondary temperaments from the Big 5, see here:
The results were as follows:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The study results proved a lot of things some authors said about the Enneagram are right, but some are wrong. I will talk about those in Post number 4 on this study.
One last thing I want to mention though, before I start making any kind of correlations between SOJT and the Enneagram is this: SOJT is a third typology descended from Jung, and it has its own unique definitions of the functions and type descriptions, so don't shoot me if my SOJT to Enneagram correlations are different than Naranjo's MBTI to Enneagram correlations. You have to realize that different systems will correlate differently to the Enneagram, even if they're based on the same thing. Now we'll more on to post number 3 on thus study, which was me figuring out AP and PY types for the dream people, and what the results were

12 Zodiac Sign
In this world where we all are living and breathing, where most things don’t make sense, and where some things are beyond logic and rationality, zodiac signs exist. Zodiac signs are the base of Astrology and Astro art.
The whole realm of astrology works on the basis of zodiac signs or celestial bodies. Every human being alive or dead must have a zodiac sign from the moment they are born. It is more ancient than our name because our name is decided by our parents and family but zodiac signs are decided by destiny itself. You can not control your stars and you can not decide what zodiac sign you will have.
Zodiac signs are pre-decided for every human being. They can be found by calculating the place of the Sun and other planets at the time of your birth. You can trust the works of astrology and take help from it in enhancing your life anytime you want. These things exist to support you in tough times and also to make sure you are walking on the right path.
Introduction to the Zodiac Signs
Zodiac signs have fascinated people for millennia, capturing their imaginations and influencing how they perceive both themselves and others. Zodiac signs are a concept that extends back to ancient astrological beliefs and attributes certain personality qualities and physical characteristics to people depending on their birth dates.
The zodiac, which consists of 12 signs that correspond to various times of the year, has a strong hold on popular culture and can be used to gain personal insight, determine compatibility, and even make career decisions. In this essay, we'll look into the origins and significance of the zodiac signs as well as the distinctive characteristics that each sign is known for.
History of Zodiac Signs
Ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Greek civilizations are where the zodiac signs first appeared. The zodiac was first documented in ancient Babylon, where astrologers divided the sky into 12 equal sections, each of which was assigned a specific constellation. These divisions also referred to as the zodiacal constellations, were thought to have a significant impact on people's lives and personalities.
The ancient Greeks further evolved the 12 zodiac signs into what we know today by giving each sign particular traits and symbols. These images, which depict animals, fantastical beings, and objects, have come to be associated with the corresponding signs. Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces are the zodiac signs. Each sign is ruled by a planet or luminary that corresponds to one of the four elements: fire, earth, air, or water.
Others embrace the insights provided by zodiac signs while some view them as mere superstition or pseudoscience. Astrology attempts to decipher the meanings of the zodiac signs via the study of celestial movements and their impact on human behavior. Astrologers contend that a person's personality, preferences, and even life events can be influenced by the sun, moon, and planets' positions at the moment of their birth.
12 Zodiac Signs With Dates
As we all know that there are 12 zodiac signs in total and they all represent a particular time of the year. The zodiac signs are divided by the time period they represent and in the list of zodiac signs the very first is Aries and the list of zodiac signs will end on Pisces. Here is the list:
1. Aries (March 21 - April 19): People with Aries birth signs are renowned for their ardor, tenacity, and boldness. They frequently have a pioneering spirit and are natural leaders.
2. Taurus (April 20 - May 20): Taureans are known for their realism and grounded temperament. They value consistency, have high standards for themselves, and value the finer things in life.
3. Gemini (May 21 - June 20): Geminis are renowned for having a dual personalities and having excellent communication skills. They are adaptive and versatile, and they do well in social situations.
4. Cancer (June 21 - July 22): People with Cancer are intensely emotional and empathic. They are frequently viewed as loving and protective and place a high emphasis on their family and home life.
5. Leo (July 23 - August 22): Leos are charismatic and self-assured leaders who were born to be in charge. They have a flare for the theatrical and want people's approval.
6. Virgo (August 23 - September 22): Virgos are careful, analytical, and highly detail-oriented people. They aim for excellence in every facet of their lives.
7. Libra (September 23 - October 22): A strong sense of fairness, harmony, and diplomacy characterizes Librans. They value harmony and strive to build positive relationships.
8. Scorpio (October 23 - November 21): Scorpios are passionate and intense people. They have a strong sense of loyalty and a curious, inquiring attitude.
9. Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21): Sagittarians are renowned for their spirit of exploration and love of liberty. They are explorers of the natural world and have a philosophical outlook on life.
10. Capricorn (December 22 - January 19): Capricorns are driven and responsible people. They work hard and have excellent organizing abilities.
11. Aquarius (January 20 - February 18): Independent and creative thinkers characterize Aquarians. They place high importance on academic endeavors and strongly believe in social fairness.
12. Pisces (February 19 - March 20): Pisceans have a strong emotional connection, are intuitive, and are empathetic. They are frequently viewed as dreamers and creators.
While these broad definitions give a look into the traits of each zodiac sign, it's vital to keep in mind that astrology is a complex subject and that every person is different. One can gain a deeper understanding of their personality and past experiences by looking at their full birth chart, which takes into consideration all of the planets and luminaries at the time of birth.
Conclusion
In summary, zodiac signs have a fascinating past and continue to hold people's attention. The zodiac signs provide a prism through which people can examine their special features and tendencies, whether considered as a tool for self-reflection, a compatibility indicator, or simply as a source of pleasure. While astrology may not be accepted by everybody, it unquestionably has a significant influence on a large number of people and civilizations around the world.

Information about Maltese Puppies
The maltese dog breeders is known for being extremely social and dependable.Among living species, they are among the oldest breeds. The Maltese used to be the dogs of the affluent and the well-to-do. The Maltese were the preferred lap dog of both Marie Antoinette and Elizabeth Taylor. Also, the Maltese have been featured in notable paintings throughout history, leading some to conclude that the ancient Greeks held a religious reverence for them.
Information about Maltese Puppies
Maltese puppies have the potential to grow up to be adorable kings and queens. Good things come in tiny packages, and this noble dog, with its illustrious ancestry in the royal courts, is the perfect example. If you're considering getting a maltese puppy for sale, here are some things you should know.
Size
Tumblr media
Small. The average adult is between 7 and 9 inches tall and weighs less than 7 pounds. This toy breed does best between 4 and 6 pounds.
Features of the Breed
Maltese are so little and compact that they resemble toy dogs. White long fur covers them, sometimes to the floor; it can be styled in many ways. Their dark, expressive eyes complement their drooping ears. Maltese are little, with a plume of long hair for a tail and small, black paw pad.
Temperament
These pups may be small, but they pack a powerful punch. Despite their diminutive stature, they excel as guard dogs because of their heightened vigilance and awareness. They tend to be active, engaging in frequent physical pursuits like running and playing. They have a lot of love to give and are terrific lap dogs.
Needs for Grooming and Health
With its beautiful white coat, the Maltese must be brushed frequently to avoid mats. If you want your Maltese to look picture-perfect for the camera, you'll need to give him a weekly bath and use a conditioning treatment on his long, thick hair.
Dogs of the maltese breeders tend to have robust health. Ask the breeder about the Maltese litter's health screening results, specifically for bile-acid testing and PDA (patent ductus arteriosus).
Training
The Maltese are known to be independent thinkers and somewhat stubborn. However, maltese puppies for sale are treat-motivated, so make sure to bring along lots while you train them. Because of their intelligence, you may expect them to try to deceive you into giving them what they want. Due to their high enthusiasm and energy levels, Maltese make excellent obedience and agility dogs.
Tumblr media
Energy Level
The size of the Maltese determines whether or not the dog can enjoy playing indoors or outdoors. When they're happy, they'll jump up and down and demand quality time to play with their favourite people and their favourite toys.
Life Span
The typical Maltese lifespan is between 12 and 15 years.
Conclusion
The maltese cross breeds are very amiable and trusting dogs with a soft demeanour and high levels of intelligence and responsiveness. Maltese make excellent family dogs since they are bright, energetic, active, and enthusiastic and seem to love learning new skills. When dealing with noisy children, they can get short-tempered. The Maltese's small stature conceals its courageous nature.

How Career Personality Tests Can Help Your Job Search
How Career Personality Tests Can Help Your Job Search
Taking tests of one's personality and conduct may be an enjoyable way for many of us to learn more about ourselves. Even though there are a lot of personality tests available, job evaluations are not nearly as prevalent. They are often issued by HR, but it is difficult to get them after you have left the company where you worked.
Assessments may help us enhance our self-awareness and discover blind spots so that we can make professional choices that affect our strengths. However, no evaluation can tell us precisely what job or career we should be in, nor can they tell us what work or career we should be doing. We all have blind spots and aspects of ourselves that we are not quite aware of, which might impede our capacity to live up to our full potential and prevent us from reaching our goals. This is particularly true for your professional life.
In the field of psychology, the metaphor of an iceberg is often used to depict the distinction between our conscious and unconscious selves. Just like an iceberg only reveals a portion of what is under its surface, we only have a limited understanding of the myriad of circumstances that influence our actions. Because of this ignorance, one's life, career, and relationships might all become less satisfying. To have a life and career that are more satisfying, our goal is to raise our level of self-awareness and to make good, rational adjustments in the way we go about our everyday lives.
To have a healthy level of self-awareness, one must be able to identify and properly evaluate one's own emotions, as well as strengths and limitations, and choose what objectives to pursue and how to pursue them. Acquiring a healthy sense of self is essential to successfully taking charge of your professional life. When we lack self-awareness, it may be challenging to make well-informed choices and to successfully interact with the people we encounter along our journey.
Thiel's Performance at Work
The work style assessment provided by Teal is a tool for professional growth that may assist you in gaining a better understanding of your natural working style as well as the behavioral qualities that go along with it.
The DISC theory, which was developed by Dr. William Moulton Marston at Harvard University, and the 4 Temperament concept, which was developed by Hippocrates, an ancient Greek physician, form the foundation of the Poultry Styles system. These other theories have had an impact on work theory, but their primary goal is to assist working professionals in developing a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the workplace.
There are four primary types, and most individuals exhibit a blend of these four; despite this, we often lead with either one or two of these styles. The method of labor that Thiel employs enables us to determine which kinds of circumstances energize or deplete us, as well as which kinds of tasks, are simple or challenging. The Thiel Work Style Framework is a useful tool that helps increase your self-understanding as well as your understanding of others, as well as your working relationships and duties.
Because Teal's Work Styles framework is based on a two-factor model, two things should be taken into consideration.
Factor 1: Novices and seasoned veterans
The first element separates the four kinds into two groups: those that are starts (1 and 2) and those who are completers (3 and 4).
Beginners (1 and 2) are more likely to talk out loud as they think, work rapidly, look at the larger picture, and come up with fresh ideas than more advanced students (3 and 4).
Achievers with a score of 3 or 4 are more likely to consider carefully before acting and to concentrate on more specific areas, while at the same time being able to carry out tasks and see them through to completion.
Factor 2: People-oriented vs results-oriented behavior
In the second section, the four types are broken down into two categories: those that are people-centered (2) and results-oriented (1) and (4). (2 and 3).
Goal-oriented people (1 and 4) give more priority to activities and results and may find it more satisfying to manage things on their own.
People-oriented individuals (types 2 and 3) put the requirements of other people first and may find it more enjoyable to work together on projects.
It is essential to keep in mind that every one of us has all four personality traits, even though some of our actions come more easily to us than others.
Your work style will be a four-number sequence as a result of the fact that you are a hybrid of the four types. When trying to figure out how your main operates, you should pay the most attention to the first two digits of the sequence. However, you should also think about how the sequence's two components interact with one another.
Learning your method of work may be advantageous in a variety of different ways. It may educate you on how to connect with people more effectively, how to recognize the kinds of jobs and relationships that energize or deplete you, and how to conduct your job search efficiently. It is essential to keep in mind that the purpose of this exercise is just to increase self-awareness and not to provide a "clear" explanation of one's professional identity. There may be certain sections of the report that you completely agree with, yet there may also be other portions that you disagree with. Utilize the areas that are helpful to you, just like you would any other self-awareness tool, so that you may improve the efficiency with which you work and communicate with others. Gaining a deeper understanding of yourself is the first step in leading a life and having a job that is more satisfying to you.
What is the mechanism behind this?
Take the quiz: Please take between three and five minutes to complete this sliding evaluation so that we can determine your four-digit work order.
Get results: Discover what approaches are most successful for you, and then adapt your strategy to take advantage of those approaches.
Develop your self-assurance: Send other individuals your 360 loops so you may compare how each of you understands yourself to the other person's perspective.
benefit
Gain an understanding of your working process and how it influences your triggers, relationships, perspective, and energy levels.
Send your How You Work page to your previous supervisors, current coworkers, friends, and family members to get feedback from all angles. You will get a lot of insight into how other people see you.
When you have a better understanding of how you work best, you will feel more at ease in professional settings. Understanding oneself is the first step in communicating with others, giving presentations, and swaying their opinions.

To be or not to be- William Shakespeare
original text:
To be, or not to be? That is the question—
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And, by opposing, end them? To die, to sleep—
No more—and by a sleep to say we end
The heartache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to—’tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished! To die, to sleep.
To sleep, perchance to dream—ay, there’s the rub,
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause. There’s the respect
That makes calamity of so long life.
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
Th’ oppressor’s wrong, the proud man’s contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law’s delay,
The insolence of office, and the spurns
That patient merit of th’ unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscovered country from whose bourn
No traveler returns, puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o’er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pitch and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action. —Soft you now,
The fair Ophelia! —Nymph, in thy orisons
Be all my sins remembered.
modern English translation:
To live, or to die? That is the question.
Is it nobler to suffer through all the terrible things
fate throws at you, or to fight off your troubles,
and, in doing so, end them completely?
To die, to sleep—because that’s all dying is—
and by a sleep I mean an end to all the heartache
and the thousand injuries that we are vulnerable to—
that’s an end to be wished for!
To die, to sleep. To sleep, perhaps to dream—yes,
but there’s there’s the catch. Because the kinds of
dreams that might come in that sleep of death—
after you have left behind your mortal body—
are something to make you anxious.
That’s the consideration that makes us suffer
the calamities of life for so long.
Because who would bear all the trials and tribulations of time—
the oppression of the powerful, the insults from arrogant men,
the pangs of unrequited love, the slowness of justice,
the disrespect of people in office,
and the general abuse of good people by bad—
when you could just settle all your debts
using nothing more than an unsheathed dagger?
Who would bear his burdens, and grunt
and sweat through a tiring life, if they weren’t frightened
of what might happen after death—
that undiscovered country from which no visitor returns,
which we wonder about and which makes us
prefer the troubles we know rather than fly off
to face the ones we don’t? Thus, the fear of
death makes us all cowards, and our natural
willingness to act is made weak by too much thinking.
Actions of great urgency and importance
get thrown off course because of this sort of thinking,
and they cease to be actions at all.
But wait, here is the beautiful Ophelia!
[To OPHELIA] Beauty, may you forgive all my sins in your prayers
the meaning in a nutshell:
The “To be or not to be” soliloquy appears in the third act of Hamlet. In this scene, Hamlet thinks about life, death and suicide, more specifically, he wonders whether it might be preferable to commit suicide to end one's suffering and to leave behind the pain and agony associated with living.
In the first line, he wonders whether “to be, or not to be”, but in reality he is wondering whether to live or die. Hamlet poses this as a question for all of humanity rather than for only himself. He begins by asking whether it is better to passively put up with life’s pains or commit suicide.
Hamlet initially argues that death would indeed be preferable: he compares the act of dying to a peaceful sleep. In fact, from his point of view, if death is but a sleep, and dying is just like falling asleep, then perhaps we will dream after death.
He thinks it is better to die because a man has to bear many miseries an injustices, such as the passage of time, abuse, discrimination, the outrage of the proud man, the pain of unreturned love, the inefficiency of the legal system, the arrogance of people in power and the mistreatment of evil people.
Hamlet views death and the afterlife as a peaceful liberation from the never-ending agony of our life, but, deep down, Hamlet does not believe in a true “afterlife”. After seeing the sins of man, he has a hard time believing that we deserve such a fate and seems to almost hope that all that awaits is peaceful nothingness.
However, he quickly changes his mind when he considers that nobody knows for sure what happens after death, or whether there is an afterlife and whether this afterlife might be even worse than life. This realization is the reason why Hamlet delays things.
In the end, the whole meaning is that humans are so fearful of what comes after death and the possibility that it might be more miserable than our life. If life means suffering, it is better to die, but it is not easy because conscience makes us cowards.
The function of the soliloquy is for the audience to develop a further understanding of a character’s thoughts and reflect about life and death. Hamlet appears darkfull, tormented and wants to analyze the complexity of life and death.
Tumblr media
the 4 temperaments/humours:
The play can be read as a study of “melancholia”, a term used in the Renaissance to say a form of depression. This term was based on the theory of the 4 temperaments or humours.
For centuries, starting in ancient Greece, doctors believed that the body contained 4 fluids or “humours” and that good health and temperament depended on their balance. An imbalance of “black bile” was believed to cause sadness, in fact the term “melancholia” comes from “melaina kole”, which means black bile. There is also a long tradition of studies devoted to understanding the value of sadness: in The Anatomy of Melancholic, from 1621, Robert Burton analysed the causes and manifestations of sadness. He saw sadness, not only as an inevitable part of life, but an essential part of being human and he also believed that wise people feel more sorrow and that melancholy is necessary to achieve wisdom.
Tumblr media
Hamlet:
Hamlet has to avenge the murder of his father, but he fails to keep his promises to him until the final act, but he does impulsively because of his anger.
Most critics have drawn the conclusion that is caused by Hamlet’s habit of delaying things. He says he is afflicted by a form of depression, which was called “melancholy” in Shakespeare’s day and is caused by a series of shocking events (such as his father’s death and his mother’s remarriage). His constant doubt about his role as avenger also expresses his rejection of a barbaric way of life because after all he finds injustice, corruption and inhumanity intolerable.
