Pretty sure this 4Elements GL mega series thing that Idol Factory and NorthStar is doing is gonna kill me, I have no idea about any of the plots or if they interconnect but the three pairs of actresses teased so far have me living the ‘not to be a lesbian etc etc’ meme already. I am very excited to see who is going to be staring in ‘The Earth’ part of this mega series.

Hey, I read your post about fayeyoko and I wanted to ask you, did Yoko explicitly say she's dating Faye? And did Faye leave the agency or was she kicked out?

in the latest press conference that she did, yoko said that she never spoke about her feeling for faye or answered questions about them dating because she couldn't, but that she did really have feelings for her and that it's over now. she also said she stepped back and that they've separated on good terms, but haven't exactly spoken privately in a while.

faye left the agency but the whole situation with her leaving has been fairly... well, muddy.

ninestar basically pulled fayeyoko out of the 4elements project without any prior notice which is why fans started a boycott and what probably pushed faye to leave (i'm speculating here so don't quote me on this), and there's also been a lot of talk that they made faye choose between her own business (her hair salon) and ninestar (also hearsay so take that with a grain of salt).

from what i've gathered fayeyoko haven't really been given the attention and opportunities they should have been given (as a huge and very successful pair) 'cause they were promised world tours and work on a new series and none of that happened.

there's a lot of information circulating around but i'm not so deep in all those circles to actually be able to say anything with certainty, but as an observation this whole press conference felt really iffy from the start (i mean just look at the setup and how yoko acts throughout) and i personally feel they wanted her to talk about private matters (whatever their relationship actually was) to draw attention away from all the business crap they pulled.

again, just a personal observation so don't quote me on that 🤷

Haven't been active on here for a bit but anyway I'd just like to drop in and request that everyone unfollow 9starstudios on all social media pages and platforms. If you are unaware, the FY fandom is currently actively boycotting them for their unfair treatment towards Faye and Yoko such as the consistent rejection of work and collaborations that would have been beneficial towards their career, including pulling them from the 4Elements project. And currently Yoko's social media account on Instagram has become q "business account," several of Faye and Yoko's friends within and outside of the industry have spoken out in support of fan's efforts to get answers and denounced 9starstudios and it's management. More and more information comes out every day, so i recommend looking into it yourself if you're curious.

"oh but they made the world you're a fan" fuck that shit. If they were abt to fucking ruined, It would be the best not doing it at all.

If their idea was CONSTANTLY using a bissexual woman of color to be the punching bag of the fandom, better not do her show at all in the first place.

I used to defend them back in the day and years after but now I fully realize that the truth is that they have this weird fetish about Korra suffering, both in the show and outside of it. No other Avatar physically suffered as her(maybe just Kuruk but we don't know his full story yet). They literally made her go through sa and suicidal allegories , shit tons of beating, poisoning and torture. And for what, to make her meet her end in a stupid ass way, absolutely hated by the entire fandom?

Oh and everything for a generic show where the main plot was made just to try to surf in the hype created by Arcane.

As a lesbian woc I'm so disgusted and angry. If all those rumors are true, this is it. I'm out. Thank you Bryke for destroying my hyperfocus and one of my greatest love - that literally saved my life sometimes. I guess this is what Harry Potter fans felt when JK Rowling started to go nuts and act like shit.

I may create a Go Fund to cover my 4elements tattoo.Thats how betrayed I feel

Oh and what rumors? Well apparently they already had test screens back in July where the audience said that Korra was responsible for the cataclysmic event, and not the savior from one as other rumors said.

Oh God I hope this flop so hard that Avatar Studios go broke and gone, fuck it. No material it's far better than new one that destroys everything you enjoy and care about.

Ps: I know if it seems that I'm overreacting but if you aren't woc, you don't know how harmful it is to try to interact with the fandom and 90% of the comments abt your fave are just born and raised in sexism and racism. It's like if the comments were aiming at you bc guess what, usually they are, since those people are the same that make our lives harder to live bc of their hate.

I didn't even talk about Korra being LGBT bc Katara is s8 and guess how she is treated in the fandom. So for Korra, her bisexuality is just another thing to add the hate but if she was s8, she would be hated still
