What is/are your head cannon(s) about when/where Katniss came to know how Peeta ties his shoes, takes his tea, and sleeps with the windows open?

i don’t think they’re specific moments, i think the reason that line is impactful is because she notices the larger patterns in his behavior (you’ll notice they’re all always/never statements — something you’d only know about someone that you 1) have spent a lot of time with and 2) have been paying enough attention to take notice of their specific habits. that’s the romance of it!!)

but to answer the question i always imagined she knows about the sleeping with the window open thing from the “nights on the train” (and now im kicking myself that i didn’t do anything with that in my victory tour fic) and the shoelaces/tea are probably also things that started on the victory tour and then she observed even longer in the post-tour/uneasy friendship/plant book era of catching fire.

More BH6

Happy BH6 Month!  Already I am regretting logging back onto Tumblr.

So this is a scene from Book I of Ghost’s Fury (read it now on FFN and AO3, Book II updates every Thursday)—finished it up last month while watching Riders/Defenders of Berk.

Anywho, so this is an AU where the team are dragons—Honey Lemon is a Light Fury, Gogo’s a Deadly Nadder, Hiro is a Night Fury, and Fred is a Monstrous Nightmare (“Greenscales” is Wasabi, they get their team names from the Yokai).  Was definitely interesting getting the team appearance to mesh with dragon designs, and honestly I think I succeeded with Fred more, all things considered.
