“Buck,” Eddie prodded gently when it looked like Buck wasn’t going to start the conversation. “What’s going on? You’re scaring me. What happened at dinner?”
Buck turned around so he was leaning against the counter, opposite of Eddie. He looked down at his hands as he mumbled, “They asked me to be a sperm donor, Eddie.”
Eddie looked at him, shocked. That’s not at all what he thought Buck was going to say. He’s not sure what he was expecting but it definitely wasn’t that. Immediately there was a tight feeling in his chest and Eddie couldn’t really explain why. “W-What did you say?”
“I said they want me to be their sperm donor,” Buck repeated, still not making eye contact with Eddie.
“No, I know that, Buck. What did you say to them?”
“We ended up just having drinks instead of dinner because I couldn’t— I didn’t know what to say. To do,” Buck stalled, before forcing out, “I, uh, I told them I’d think about it, though.”
“And are you? Thinking about it?” Eddie asked, holding his breath.
Buck looked up at Eddie with glassy eyes. “Of course I’m thinking about it, Eddie. I’ve always wanted— I mean, this isn’t how I wanted it but— I don’t, I don’t know,” Buck stuttered, looking lost. “I don’t know what to do.”

i really want a eddie worrying over buck moment cause we got buck worrying over/taking care of eddie 3x, 4 if you count his breakdown (1 - when eddie is trapped underground, 2 - when eddie was shot, still cant believe they did this, and 3 - when eddie was hostage) so like plz give us a eddie worrying over buck moment
Me too!!!
Before we had a fresh out of the military and conditioned to repress his feelings Eddie.
But post therapy Eddie, who has grown, grown himself and grown impossibly closer to Buck - I am almost positive that the response we'll get, will be so much more emotional.
Eddie once called Buck exhausting, and we all, including Buck took that as an insult, but in s5b, Eddie explains to Christopher that therapy makes him deal with his emotions and fears - and being sad, tired and scared all the time is exhausting. (I will gif it later.) - In S3a those unexpressed feelings translated into rage, losing Shannon, almost losing Christopher in the tsunami, Christopher's nightmares and nearly losing Buck not once but three times so soon after Shannon - took it's toll.
Because Buck filed the lawsuit, and it left Eddie floundering, he was drowning - he was tired, and scared and sad - and he didn't have Buck to support him. (In contrast to 5x13, where Buck was there as soon as he was needed.) - And it translated later into the street fighting phase. - But the one time we saw Eddie let loose on his emotions in that dramatic lovers spat at the grocery store, he revealed so much more than he intended - but the bottom line was "I need you, we miss you and you weren't there."
Whether we agree with it or not - Eddie himself tells Buck in 4x04 - that hitting things in rage is something he's done before and does not recommend it.
The point is - Buck always made Eddie feel. And pre-therapy Eddie tried as all hell not to show it.
But there are moments where you can see it translated in other ways - For example, in 2x18, when the bomber calls Buck "collateral damage" Eddie looks mad, he makes an aborted step forward, but his training holds him back.
There is also a continuity error in there, as soon as Bobby grabs the bomber, Eddie is already running to Buck's side getting to him first, but the next frame shows Hen running and the Eddie quickly following - but, it seems that originally Eddie, true to his medic nature was supposed to get to Buck first.
In addition, Eddie gets on the ambulance with Hen and Chimney to tend to Buck. And of course there is the part in the firehouse where Hen said that things are finally back to normaI and Eddie pensively comments - "Almost." - Meaning, Buck is not here. It/I will not be normal until he is back.
That is why I believe that now is the best time for Buck to get hurt, because post-therapy Eddie, softer, fonder, closer to Buck than ever, will show how he feels about a hurt/in danger Buck at the scene itself.
We see a glimpse in 6x04, where Eddie actually gets up from tending his patient and calls for Buck, who had just taken off on a bicycle.
"Buck, where the hell are you going?" - There is a reason only Chimney was witness to the following madness, because the writers didn't want us to see Eddie's full response to Buck being in danger, they held off on it, to when Buck will actually be hurt.
So I do believe, and hopeful, and Manifesting - that we will get a worried/frantic/in tears Eddie when Buck gets hurt. (maybe a henren parallel to 6x06? 👀)

So, Buck begins a year of "yes to possibilities" and immediately receives an interesting proposal from a former roommate.

Idk how I came with this speculation but here it is: (I were just thinking what Chris can lie about and then my brain gave me this )
We know that 911 like parallels (and we know how buddie have a lot of parallels with canon ships and families)
I remembered that we had parallel between Harry and Chris: Harry ran to Bobby in season 2 after a fight with Michael and Chris ran to Buck in season 4 after Eddie mentioned his relationship with Anna.
So I were thinking about what Chris can lie about and how he can hide it and I remembered that last season Harry called Bobby to take him from school when he had troubles (if I'm not mistaken he hit a guy). What if Chris called Buck bc he had a fight(somebody mentioned his cp or smt) and he didn't want to tell Eddie how he received his bruises? Buck ofc would take him from school, (I think he has right for this as legal guardian, right?) but he can't stay for a night with boys(to hear what Chris would tell Eddie). Buck would believe that Chris said a truth about bruises and would ask Eddie smt like "I hope there isn't new troubles with this kid Chris had a fight with?" and Eddie confused and Buck had to tell him the truth

a different theory just because I'm used to not getting things right but I have fun anyway 😁
what if Buck's ex-roommate and his wife need to be out of the country for a long time (half a year or more), and they need someone to house sit and to take care of their dog (animal instincts + dog foreshadowing) and they propose it to Buck and he thinks why not, it's not like he has any attachment to the loft and when they come back he'll find somewhere else. so he puts his stuff into storage, gives up the lease and moves in to their place and then a couple of weeks later they are back, oh we're so sorry, our trip / business thing was a bust, we need our place back and... that's how BUCK AND EDDIE ROOMMATES ERA CAN STILL WIN 😆

Having some thoughts about the Buck bike scene in 6x04 and it made me realise this is almost like Buck and the crane climb from 4x14 again except this time Eddie isn’t stuck in the hospital fighting for his life not knowing Bucks putting himself, his body, in harms way so his family and those he loves won’t be the one who get hurt.
This time it’s Eddie shouting after Buck when he takes off on the bike - he’s going to watch Buck make that decision and take off after Chim - who is basically Bucks brother - and the drunk driver. And Eddie can’t stop him. Only watch him disappear into the distance.

Theory for 6b.
First, there will be no Christmas episode for this season. How rude!
I don't think they will end 6a with a Buck getting hurt cliffhanger. I kind of feel like it'll be a Maddie and Chimney episode. But who knows at the very end scene of the episode right? But for 6x10, I have a feeling that's when we get the Buck whump we've all waiting for. Buck getting hit by a car in a flash in an episode called IN A FLASH. Just wow! And in 6x11 IN ANOTHER LIFE episode, I think that's when we get Buck's near death flashes hence Oliver wearing the preppy look in their house in Hershey with his parents. Flashes of WHAT IFs wherein what could've been Buck's life if he didn't leave Hershey. If he didn't leave his parents. And Buck waking up from that flashes will ground him about how grateful he was to be the person he had become and with the people he chose to be in his life. His sister. Eddie and Christopher. The 118.
His found family.

episode 4 of 911 is, historically, always an excellent fucking episode with some truly delectable character work and also almost always a very significant episode for buck and/or eddie so i am extremely 👀👀👀👀👀👀 about that episode synopsis

What if the former roommate of Buck’s is the guy from Peru he met while bartending, the guy that convinced him to go to Los Angeles ? It would be the decision/reason/meant to be of it all that led him to finding the 118, the Diaz boys, his real family coming at a time when Buck is still questioning the worth/quality of the life he’s lived so far. And it would also make for a good outsider perspective of Buck’s life before and after finding his chosen family.

And now I’m just trying to compile of list of all of Buck’s known ex-roommates:
Those guys Buck lived with in season 1
Abby
Maddie (before getting her own place)
Hen, Chim, or Eddie (from when they all quarantined together)
Albert
Taylor

i think up until 2 seconds ago i assumed that buck is having this delusion that he can know he’s a father and still walk away but what if he knows that he can’t do it. he is fully aware that this is gonna kill him inside and he decides to do it anyway because they need his help. that would kill me more

Confused, angry, scared.
All summed in a few words shouted to Buck as he rides away, if Buck walks away from this unscathed I can see Eddie being furious with him after giving him a scare.
If the car hits Buck and he ends up injured, I can see worried, frantic maybe fretting and hovering Eddie.
I mean look at his face!!
I am so ready!!

So, just a theory going along with some of the pictures at the beach and the one that appears to be the hospital.
I think something happe s that lands either Eddie or Chris inthe hospital. The reason being is the grey shirt Buck is wearing looks like the same one he is wearing in the Jeep at the beach location.
Oliver's interview stating he was going to have to put to the test something he'd been working on "in theory". What if he had to look after Christopher or Eddie? Meaning he'd have to move in and stay with them for a period of time. And during that time, feelings are realized.
I can't seem to shake the feeling something big is going to happen with this little family.
And I'm screaming.

The potential parallel of Bobby thinking he is cursed because he has ‘Golden Blood’ in 1x08, and now potentially in season 6 Buck thinking he is cursed because of his higher risk of Leukemia, especially now we know he has accepted the offer to be a sperm donor, which may come up... something something “defective parts”...

Post 6x04 baseless speculation below
What if… the guy dies. And Lucy’s camera broke when she fell. And she gets investigated and her decision to go after the guy the way she did is questioned?
We’ve seen lethal shootings several times on the show, but we haven’t seen one where they weren’t immediately cleared… I have no idea; that would be so rough for poor Lucy.
I’m always wrong though, so this is probably one and done and they’ll never mention it again 🤷🏽‍♀️
Just putting random musings out into the void, but I’m genuinely so curious about what’s coming for both Tim and Lucy.
