Currently having a laugh at the way the universe works. Less than a month until my solar return and the beginning of my 8th house profection year and I met my boyfriend at the bank yesterday & got added to his account, effectively making this a joint account now. Cringed at the idea and have been putting it off for almost a year because...well because money is, and always has been, a touchy subject. The idea of being vulnerable about my finances is something I've never been able to do. Of course, this has a lot to do with who raised me and how they treated money, how they lectured me and judged me about my money, and so on. (Maybe you're familiar. "Be sure to live within your means. Don't make impulsive purchases." Meanwhile, my guardian came home with a new car more often than anyone I've ever known outside of a celebrity lifestyle, not to mention the random gadgets he just had to buy...an iPad with the only purpose of being the remote for the television? Pls.) I've been saying over and over again it's time to work on my relationship with money. And I know that a big chunk of the lack of communication in my relationship has to do with not being able to be open about money. I've been living with this dude for close to two years now and not once have I ever asked him for monetary help or for his part of the bills. I've just kinda gone with the flow and taken what he's given me when he gives it to me. I'm aware that's not the way to do things, so I guess the universe said "Oh yeah, we're working on this shit." Anyway this year is gonna be interesting.

I realized I was reading my solar return chart wrong this entire time. Last year I was being put through the wringer and I legitimately thought I was losing my mind. I misread my 12th house stellium was going to be this year and got scared that life could get worse. Funnily enough right around my birthday I could feel a weight lifting off me, I’m now moving physically, spiritually, and emotionally out of horrible situations I thought I was born in that just got more aggressive last year. I learned yesterday that I was reading my chart wrong so even without the placebo effect thinking I was under the 12th house influence I could feel things shift.

8th House Profection Year: Age 31 💋🐆

This year is the last year in the tunnel, the last year in the shadows facing mine and everyone else’s shadow they swear don’t exist. This is the final year of what has felt like a 10 year death sentence to a woman I’ll never be again. In one instance I’m glad I won’t be her, the pain from connections and community, the undiagnosed conditions, downplaying my experiences so that my mind won’t accept that I got treated the way I have and what’s worse I helped those people hurt me. The girls that are your friends who loved being close to you in order to study you or have you around to make them feel better,goodbye. Goodbye to co-creating with them to make me feel small and willingly giving my power away, making myself small in return. Goodbye to overgiving and being clingy under the guise of sisterhood. Goodbye to the people who perform under the titles in my life like sister, friend, lover but treated me like anything but. Goodbye smallness and shame. Goodbye guilt and gaslighting. Goodbye to the women who I found myself being in my masculine energy around. Goodbye to the women who used me to look better for men. Goodbye centering men in my life as saviors. Goodbye 8th House Aquarius Saturn that has been reflected back to me during this 8th house profection year which is ruled by Aquarius. The darkness that has left a mark on me has fixed my vision. It has made me bitterly strong. But one thing 2016 to now has taught me is to let things die and let them die with class.
