Zhou Zishu cannot fathom why he can't get the attention of the Valley Master, whether it be for information gathering or assassination. He makes a pretty woman, after all, the newest 'offering' added to this donated harem of his.

He has a lot more luck when the Valley Master brings a few of the harem women with him to the Heroes Conference, of all things. Especially when he finds something of a platonic zhiji in the sharp Zhou Xu and begins to trust her with his thoughts.

He definitely has more luck when Wen Kexing proposes he pose as a man to infiltrate the Conference - although to be quite frank, the Valley Master acts...oddly, once he shows his true self.

Sometimes Jaskier and Geralt split paths and Geralt notices how his luck seems to better when his little strange bard is around.

Except I spent so long making this list that the timezones changed over BUT I wanted to show my mutuals some love and now that we are going into the hiatus I thought you might all like a list of quality fics to keep you occupied while there is no new Weewoo show.

pining and anticipation (I don't want you like a best friend)

Buck challenges Eddie to try to hit on him after teasing Eddie for not having any ‘game’. This fic is very funny and very soft.

believe in one thing (i won't go away)

This fic hit me straight in the feels. Buck and Eddie go to couples therapy even though they aren't a couple and they work through some stuff.

Eddie comes out to Aunt Pepa after his ‘date’ with Vanessa. I am a little bit biased towards this one because she did write it for me but it's honestly just so good!

How to Cure Boredom: Buckley Edition

The 118 are stuck at the firehouse during a slow shift and Buck entertains them all by mattress-surfing the loft stairs. It’s soft and silly and in the same universe as her other fic Safe in His Arms.

I will scream from the rafters how much I adore this fic and yes it did make me cry (happy tears). It’s a look into Buck’s head after his sperm donor kid is born and he realizes what Christopher (and Eddie) truly mean to him. I know I have recced this before but it deserves all the love. 

Unless You Ask Me To

Eddie dates a man for the first time, and Buck is completely 'Fine'. This is a preemptive rec because it is one chapter away from completion and I have been saving it to binge in one sitting but knowing Jenwyn and her incredible talent I guarantee this will be worth the read.

This is Spotty’s newest fic and it's just brilliant. Buck is practicing extreme self-control whilst Eddie is being an irresistible menace.

Buck finally tells Eddie he loves him right before Eddie’s new boyfriend is supposed to meet Christopher. Honestly, all I can say about this fic is that it’s a masterpiece and I screamed many times while reading it.

This fic is so brutal in all the best ways, my heart was in my throat the entire read! Buck gets trapped in a sensory deprivation room while the 118 and Athena race to find him.

Is it really a Meegs rec list if I don’t rec this fic honestly it's engraved on my soul. This is a criminal minds/greys inspired fic where Buck is kidnapped and tortured until the 118 can find him. i decided i wanna be a buddie fanfiction librarian and this is what im gonna do from now on, mwah.

y(our) son (gen, 642 words, by @the-likesofus): very short but for some reason made me sob like a baby.

I should go and find myself (before I ruin someone else) (explicit, 19k words, by @monsterrae1 ): buck travels to another universe where the buck from there died and there's a lot of grief, closure, healing. will i ever shut up about this fic? most definitely not. also made me cry like a baby. i really recommend it!

sometimes a curse can lead to a date (gen, 2k words, by coupe_de_foudre): different first meeting, eddie is with the 133 so, when the 118 get trapped during 'jinxed', he's there to help get them out. very cute and funny. really liked it.

like a hedge maze (teen and up, 5.3k words, by @maygrantgf ): eddie keeps having dreams of almost kissing buck, but wakes up before he actually gets to do it. un this was sooo good??? also hen and eddie besties so true. i absolutely loved it!

bottled poetry (teen and up, 7.2k words, by @buddierights ): buck and eddie take a platonic trip to a winery and everyone assumes they're a couple. eddie pines. so much pining??? and so cute??? absolutely a jewel of a fic. chef's kiss. also they share a bed?!?! i love that trope an insane amount.

this must be love (mature, 5.7k words, by @spotsandsocks): a very sweet, nice valentine fic. friends to lovers?? SMASH. the mutual pining was chef's kiss. also, this made me emotional, i definitely recommend reading!!

lightening strikes twice (and it burns so nice) (teen and up, 5.6k words, by youdrewstarsaroundmyscars118): spec fic for 6x10, basically they’re lightening struck lovers and they’re dumbasses like always. absolutely loved it. made me even more excited for the 6b episode if that's even possible.

NIGHTY NIGHT, SLEEP YOU TIGHT (set during madney house hunting)

According to Jee-Yun Buckley Han, she is not a baby anymore - yes, she's not even two yet but it's not THAT important -, and one of the things she is learning to love is sleeping alone in her little bed, cause she is a brave girl and she is not afraid of anything, just like her mum and dad.

She really likes to have her own bed and sleeping alone, she is getting used to it, and she knows she'll love to have her own room someday too, maybe with peluches and colourful walls and princesses, or maybe with super-heroines with armors and swords and shields, like the ones uncle Buck bought her (because women don't need princes to save them but they can be their own heroes, her parents always tells her that while reading her some bedtime story and she knows that's the truth).

But when some nights her mommy hugs her tight, while her daddy holds them both in his arms cuddling them gently, and she falls asleep in their bed listening to the sound of their heartbeats, in those moments she has to admit that yes, sleeping alone like the older kids do is cool, but maybe sleeping with her favorite people in the whole world isn't too bad either.
