anon is just freaking out over 911bts’s opinion as to the time between s6 and s7, which we all know is absolute mush so making sense of it is hard. no hard proof of how long they’ve been dating (: (this is not an attack on the GOAT that is 911bts because I’m sure people are being unnecessarily rude to them about this already!!!)

Okay so, Jennifer posted this picture last week, I think, and you can see the script at the bottom.

The script describes a scene with Maddie and Buck where Maddie talks about an accident in a basketball court. Buck unintentionally hurt someone, most speculations say Chris, I've been saying Eddie, but it is not specified who he hurt. Something that also happened is the way that Oliver has a photography Instagram that currently only has this picture, so that could be a bts now we know Buck will be playing basketball.

Today these bts pics were also posted.

So we are all squinting and zooming trying to figure out who's there to figure out who's involved with in the scene. One of these people needs to be Oliver because we know he's in the scene but finding Ryan or Gavin or both will tell us more about the script. Personally I don't wanna make any assumptions, this is not clear enough for me, but the general consensual seems to be that in the top pic the dude with the white shorts next to the one in all black with the backpack in the corner are Oliver and Ryan. I kinda agree with that. The bottom one is more complicated. I've seen people pointing out different people in it as Oliver, Ryan or both. I don't think we have enough pixels to successfully id anyone in any of them tho kspamkspskzp

But pretty much there will be some sort of accident in a basketball court that is gonna be bad enough for Buck to be worried enough about his place with whoever got hurt to talk to Maddie about it and they seem to be filming that accident today. Also a lot of people seem to be attaching the speculation on the basketball thing to these two stills, but we have no way to know for sure those things are related yet. For all we know it could all be separate events.

But honestly, you should follow @911bts because most of my updates come from there and honestly they are a godsend when it comes to keeping up with what's happening.

the second they made buck bi i watched the whole show for the first time, took a week, finished just before the latest episode came out. this obviously means i do not know my first thing about anything, most theories and fanon storylines included. what is the most important stuff that i need to know? the more deranged and delusional the better 🌸

Full disclosure, I've only started watching 911 since season 6, so there are years of fandom lore/drama that I'm not even aware of. I really recommend checking out blogs such as @captain-hen @gracieryder @maygrcnt who have been around here MUCH longer (I'll tag more people in the morning) & follow @911bts who keeps track of literally EVERYTHING 911.

Okay, 911blr 101 is couch theory. What is couch theory you ask? well, it all starts at the beginning of S6 when Buck's couch (or lack there of) was used as a metaphor for Buck's romantic relationships. In S5, when Taylor moved into Buck's apartment replaced Buck's couch (that he got with Ali) with her own. When Buck and Taylor broke up, she took the couch with her, leaving Buck couchless. The connection between girlfriends and couches first comes up during a conversation with Buck, Eddie, and Christopher. Buck's struggle to find the 'perfect' couch reflects Buck's struggle to find the perfect person to partner up with. At the end of the episode, Buck decides to move his armchair where the couch used to be, signifying that he is trying to become comfortable with himself outside of a relationship.

Then we get to the start of S6b. Buck's parents come to town, Buck gets struck by lightning (as one does), and his parents buy him a new couch. There is probably some metaphor there about family and blah blah blah, but that doesn't matter because the couch is uncomfortable and Buck can't sleep on it and everyone keeps bothering him, and who does Buck run to? He runs to Eddie. And then he falls asleep on Eddie's couch.

and like this is a big fucking deal. because it shows that he is comfortable with Eddie! he feels safe in Eddie's home! he is more safe and comfortable on Eddie's couch than he is on his own and Eddie welcomes him there!! and couch = romantic relationship, so falling asleep on eddie's couch = relationship with Eddie???? There is another scene in S6 where Christopher falls asleep on the couch and people are like!! we are connecting the dots! (we were not connecting the dots)

and then!!!! the Kameron gives birth on Buck's couch and the couch is ruined and then y'all never guess what happens. In one of the last scenes of s6 Buck asks his brand new love interest Natalia if she wants to go couch-shopping and everyone is like WTF???? aren't we past this?? didn't we just have this conversation about NOT buying a couch with ur gf at the beginning of this season???

I can't get it out of my head that yesterday's photos have something to do with Eddie and I created a theory, I'll probably be wrong and it won't be anything like that but here we go

We all know that they create scenarios with what they have, I believe this scenario is for El Paso. I believe we will see an episode focused on Eddie again and in this one we will see him with his sisters

As we can see a church, Eddie has already talked about how he was raised and how he feels, I believe that Eddie will return to El Paso where he will finally close a cycle, like I said it probably won't be anything like that but I like creating theories and as none of the photos and videos featured a fire truck, I believe it is just for one character. This was going to be part of my costume meta (which I’m still working on!) but it is too epic to get lost in the big post - I’ll link to this one in the main meta. This little discovery gains more significance after listening to the interview Oliver gave earlier - I’ve linked the @911bts post in case you haven’t heard it. 

So Kitchen scene from 6x01 - Buck is wearing a white tee - and we’ve long established that Buck and white tops means trouble! in this instance the trouble is present in the scene - its his tantrum over being passed up for interim captain and actually reflects nicely on to the turmoil his mind is currently in in relation to his personal life with all the loaded sentences about couches and and relationships. 

Then there is the the mid to light blue zip front shirt with vertical stripes and a yellowed tint to it - which is a lightweight cotton denim. Its this denim zip shirt I want to talk about because when I realised its significance I gasped (and freaked the person I was sitting net to out) and have spent the rest of today flapping over it.

I was initially intrigued because we never see buck in denim and then I remembered we have seen him in a denim shirt - just the once - a western style one pictured below which also has a yellowed tint to it!

This is the only time we have seen Buck wearing a denim shirt until 6x01 (incidentally he is also wearing a white shirt underneath it and the sleeves are rolled up in a similar manner. He’s worn a few different denim jackets etc, but never another shirt.

I was intrigued by this and then I remembered the full context!!!  That western style denim shirt was the one he wore for his coffee shop date with Abby at the end of 1x09. The reason I gasped at this parallel that the costume team have made here hits on a few different levels. Firstly 1x09 is the only other time that blimps are mentioned in 911!! Yes indeed that coffee shop date comes after the failed hot air balloon date and that locker room talk with bobby about blimps and stepping in with someone in a relationship. So not only do we have the blimp parallel, we also have a Buck and Bobby talk in both episodes.

That coffee shop date is when we see Buck really starting his first serious relationship - seeing all the things that come with dating Abby (her Mom’s Alzheimer's for example) - and choosing to embrace them (dare I say that this is the Buck 1.5 KR was speaking about in her interview!) and stepping in for all the difficult stuff. That date was a foundation stone for Buck - what he learnt from that relationship is still present today in what he has been building with Eddie - it was a moment of growth for him and a lesson he took to heart and continues to live by to this day - stepping into Eddie’s mess and supporting him time and again. the difference between them is obvious Abby wasn’t truly interested in building a true relationship where as Eddie has been from the off - he continues to let Buck into places no one else has been allowed.

So here we are post 6x01 with a scene so laden with metaphors and multiple meanings, where body and facial language are very loud in another episode where a there is a blimp in some form. Only this time we have an actual blimp rather than a mentioned one that was actually a mix up with a hot air balloon by Bobby. Bobby who gave the advice which Buck took to heart in 1x09 and which has had far reaching consequences and Bobby who gives Buck more advice in 6x01 which is likely to have far reaching consequences and intertwines with the advice from 1x09.

The fact that the costume team have drawn this parallel won’t be by chance - it will have been discussed at length in production meetings - its like a repeat outfit - only better - repeat outfits are just that - a repeat - they directly invoke the previous time it was worn and suggests a lack of change - the idea of making the same mistakes again whereas a similar outfit used in the same way as a repeat outfit in this specific way (it only works in situations where the character doesn’t normally wear a particular type of clothing like this one where Buck doesn’t wear denim shirts) shows growth - as well as the parallels that can be drawn between the scenes. Ergo Buck is not the same person as he was in 1x09, he has grown. this use of costume and colour (remember the yellow tint I mentioned that both shirts have - well that plays into the yellow and blue colour theory) is a physical and visual way of stating the aims of the show, about the intent of the writers and adds an additional layer to that kitchen scene and only adds further weight to the acting choices - and they all add up to Buddie going canon! this is why Oliver comparing Abby and Eddie in that interview is so interesting and significant.

hey so you've been really quiet about episode 15 while the Buddie fandom was panicking, do you know things you're not telling or do you have an opinion on this death doula or Natalia or whomever? I feel like you probably know if she's in every episode and she's the new couch the season has been foreshadowing since the premiere meaning she's Buck's endgame and you just don't wanna disappoint the fans.

I've been super busy, anon. My real life does exist. Between school, work, and pre-planned personal shit, I've been on Tumblr maybe 10 minutes outside of posting stuff on 911bts.

I knew the 6x15 synopsis went up because my friends blew my phone up about it and I still didn't see that until 5 minutes after it was up.

There's no need for a big conspiracy about what I know and what I don't 😂 I know the same as you all. She's in 6x15 and 6x17. In 6x17, they got on a boring yet interesting (or whatever word JCC used) date.

My opinion is Oliver keeps talking about how Buck needs someone on his level, and he won't be compromising himself to make a relationship work. On top of the couch being in danger? I have a good feeling this won't last long. And I've had that opinion since like 6x10/6x11 and we've known about Natalia for weeks. So, imo this isn't really news besides her occupation and how they meet.

Additionally, the choice of a death doula for him says a lot, but I'm sure a lot of people have talked about that.

Also, I heard people have been upset that people think Annelise is hot. So full disclosure, she's really fucking hot. Idk why that equals people closing on buddie in some people's minds, but I think they should reevaluate themselves.

Had a mini heart attack at the cancellation til I saw it was moving to ABC. I haven’t been in a fandom for a network switch before, do those usually go well or should we be worried about the show?

The only big network change I can remember witnessing was Brooklyn Nine Nine going from Fox to NBC. That lasted 2-3 more seasons (I can't remember which) and NBC gave them the time to have a final season without just suddenly cancelling it. It had a good run. (I've witnessed more network changes but my alas my memory is rubbish and I can't remenber). So it worked out for B99 but tbh it can go either way. However, given what the article talked about, I really believe it'll work out for 911 and ABC will give it the seasons it needs.

Also, as for storytelling wise, I don't think anything will change. If anything (and this is just me speculating) I feel like ABC might let them be a little more freer with their storytelling.

So yeah tbh I think it's a great move for our wee woo show

Anyways, I hope that makes sense a bit. @911bts has way more knowledge on this though

We've been speculating as to which episodes Ryan wasn't going to be in for 6B. Earlier, 911bts posted that he was going to be in tonight's episode which meant that he probably wasn't going to be in 6x15. Except, like, half an hour ago, they posted and deleted that he was going to be in 6x15. Cue immediate vomit and chaos in the streets. And then they posted AGAIN that they were serious because people thought it was a joke but deleted THAT post immediately too and that's what you missed on KUWT911F (keeping up with the 911 fandom) 🙃

so, i believe ryan gave an interview or said in an instagram live or something that the original plan in s3 was to have a romance between eddie and lena, but he argued against it because he felt eddie needed more time to grieve shannon. i don't have a link or anything for you, unfortunately, but you could check out 911bts and see if they have anything.

honestly, if not for knowing about what ryan said, i never would've thought there was any intention of making eddie/lena a thing. they always seemed strictly platonic to me, more like gym buddies than a potential romance. and i think this has been the general consensus, but then again, i only joined the fandom when s4 started airing, so i wouldn't know what people said about it before that.
