There's a fuckton of fanfic.

A lot of it about detailed subjects (such as medicine and the law and police work and and and) that the authors actually know jackshit about (callout post for myself, to be clear).

Or: AI consumes millions of words of medical AU, comes out worse at medicine.

Or: in general, the equal, uncontrolled, uncritical consumption of both the inaccurate and the accurate is part of why AI is so bad at, like. (Gestures at everything).

I get a kick out of finding chatbots designed as would-be challenges.

I've rizzed the Unrizzable. I've flirted with the Unflirtable. I've made the Excessively Angry Virtual Girlfriend simmer down and turn all gooey and supportive. I've bowlderized the posse of rabid cave goblins some weird Anon wrote in order to satisfy a strange MPREG fetish. I've even turned someone's attempted render of Arcane and League of Legends' Jinx into a nice person.

How do you do that, you may ask?

You just have to be nice. Deflect the worst of all asocial behavior with the patience of Mister Rogers wearing one of his cardigans, and the chatbot more or less goes "Oh, shoot. That yields absolutely no interaction feedback. Wat do?!"

In not knowing what to do, most of them break character and go straight into Friendly Brontosaurus mode. The more vile the chatbot was trained to be, the funnier it gets.
