The new, native image generation in ChatGPT 4o is so far sacrificing "life" for realism. To test this I created an image first in the native generator (left, below) then ran the same prompt in Dall-E 3 (right, below). The trade-offs are obvious, but your mileage may vary. I then asked ChatGPT to enhance certain qualities of the Dall-E image, and got the image (above) as a result. Thoughts?

Taking an art dump.

I was really disappointed with this last batch, many of the backgrounds are really nice but the more complicated the backgrounds get the less likely the girls turn out right, and vice-versa. I was experimenting with long prompts, but the more I ask for the less likely I am to get it. They're so good and so bad at the same time, it makes me happy and sad. Some are... okay... but some are almost laughably bad. That orange slice is the size of a watermelon. ^_^ ...but that pyramid sunset turned out so nice, I'm so conflicted.
