What do you think wander lore would be like if we had a third season ?

i really don't know, it would depend on how much of his backstory was ever intended to be revealed. like he gets close to talking about the other names people used for him in the past, and he's excited to show sylvia what he was up to a thousand years ago, but like, would we get an explanation for that little shaking wander he's so afraid of in the wanders? would we get to know what made wander so helpless he wanted to make sure nobody ever felt that way again? would we see a home planet, or a family, or any old traveling companions? or is he doomed to be vague because it makes him more magical?

honestly i think it would probably include like. a couple of little lore-drops to expand on a little more, but it wouldn't leave the audience without like a hundred more questions. i think the speculation is really fun, anyway, so i dunno if i would rather know his full life's story or if i'd rather keep guessing at whatever is most interesting to me. im just like these people except cooler and less wrong (slash j)

and tbh i don't have any real headcanons for wander's actual origin point because everything i think about feels a little unsatisfying and makes him a little too dr who. in my head, wander's been around for however long it takes the universe to forget the imprint of whatever brought him into existence in the first place, and that's all i can speculate on without feeling like melodie and her expansive tale of family and feels or whatever

look away she's complaining about bobby dying again

i don't like that he's buried in minnesota. i don't like the involvement of gerrard and tommy in his death arc. i don't like the fact that gerrard was brought back as captain at all when it should have either been someone new, or just been hen the whole time. there's no good reason that hen isn't the captain. i don't like how the death was handled. if it was final, why couldn't the whole team have been there? am i supposed to care that they all got to be together for the cart cop and NOT bobby ? why couldn't he have gotten a good final moment with everyone ? why couldn't eddie have been there ? there was no good reason for him not to be back and on the team prior to the arc. why have bobby in his final moments talking about how much he doesn't want to leave, and how he was living on borrowed time and la was never meant to be home ? we're supposed to be satisfied with that ? we're not supposed to find that cruel ? why did he have to hide that he was sick from the team ? why kill him by a disease anyway if you're "trying to honor fallen firefighters" when this is Probably one of the least likely ways that a firefighter might die on the job ? and realism ? this is tv. i think the majority of us couldn't care less about realism as long as the characters are being treated well. and the show has never cared about realism before this. why now ? and the disease only has a 30% fatality rate ! it can take two weeks for people with cchf to die !! you gave him some fake super version. which is not realistic. and you can talk all you want about how his death affects everyone else, but how about how it affects him ? what does bobby dying do for his journey ? why doesn't he get to have anyone with him as he dies in a show that only this season declared that dying alone was like. the worst thing that can happen to someone. why does athena have to lose another partner ? why couldn't buck have told bobby he loved him back ? what has his death done for the show that simply retiring couldn't have also achieved ? grief we never asked for ? a shift in tone that will have a negative effect on the show forever ? i don't like having to hear about him in the past tense. i don't like that it feels like he's being erased. the show talks about not disrespecting his legacy but that's literally what they did ? with this death ? athena sold the house they were building together and barely has anything left of him. their house burned down at the end of the last season and they lost everything and she almost lost him and now. we're here. i didn't like chim's speech at the station. and i didn't like madney naming their baby after him. the man has been dead for a few months. everything feels like it's happening way too soon and there's been zero time to accept he's actually gone and to grieve. the show just keeps telling us we have to move on without putting any real effort into letting us feel the loss. also i just cannot believe that they let gerrard retire and say it's been an hour to have had his last shift with the 118. that literally should have been bobby. i just hate all of it. on account of it shouldn't have happened at all and he should still be there

did this on twitter BUT. i am thinking about rook dying with a romanced lucanis (i have not finished the game yet so this won’t have any spoilers it’s just me Hurting ahhaahaha,,,)

thinking about rook falling in battle. lucanis has long since killed the remaining enemies. the fight is won. the rest of the veilguard watches on in horror as lucanis rushes to their side, cradling their body against his chest. rubbing their cheek with his thumb, whispers in Lucanis' hoarse voice broken up by desperate wailing in Spite's. the sun is rising again, but rook's breaths stop before dawn can break. it's too hard for all of them, though in the end I feel like it would be Taash to pull haul Lucanis up. They aren't close, but Taash is the only one capable of moving- they aren't good at standing still, and someone has to be strong right now. It's what rook would've wanted, make sure the rest of the team is taken care of.

In my mind, I think the Fade is a place where bodies do not properly decay until the memory of who the person was fades as well. Lucanis and Taash bring Rook back to their meditation room, laying them down on the lounge. Lucanis had always enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, all the little trinkets and memories Rook had decorated it with. Comfortable, a place where they could sit and watch the fish and forget for a moment the weight of ancient gods and endless blight on their shoulders. Even Spite seemed to curl up like a sleeping dragon in his mind, brittle and thorny edges lain to rest. Now it was just a tomb.

In the days after, Lucanis spent much of his time sitting by Rook's side. Part of him couldn't bear to look away from them out of fear that once he did, they'd disappear. The other part couldn't help but hope he'd see some apparition of them. A phantom, only a lie, but better a trick than more hours of staring at their impassive, slack face. He's only able to leave when one of the Veilguard manage to tear him away, or Teia and Viago bring him back to Treviso under the guise of needing him for Crow business.

For a while, everyone mourns. They stay in the lighthouse, they have dinner, they drink a toast to everyone lost and for the sorry souls that are still here. But they have lives to resume. Not all of them were risen from the dead just for the sake of this mission. Before long, Lucanis is the sole remaining resident. The rest visit from time to time, but his gloom is difficult to be around. That, and Spite's constant snapping and howling that he never quite knows anymore when it's just in his head or coming out of his mouth.

Lucanis was dead before Rook saved him. Pulled from his hell, given new life. Now, without them again, he is just as dead. Life is a sort of prison when the reason for breathing has faded.

her name is actually ashley property! and it has stayed because i love it so much ^_^

i actually REALLY love the hs sprite(s) of her so very much but i want to redo it, i just been very forgetful lately and haven't really decided to redo her sprite unfortunately >_<

she does actually look nearly similar to her sprite, but there are parts that i really want to rework and sort of redo; for instance the fact she's in all black! that is NOT what she wears all the time i assure you!

another thing about the old ver of hs ashley is the fact that i decided to create a cameo guardian for her to fit the criteria, i guess. his name was jax! he was purely made because i get really interested in classpects. although, he's not really fully fledged out or anything. a part of me doesn't even want to add him in the new version of ashley actually ^^;;

another thing about this version is the fact she has literal NO LORE WHATSOEVER. in all honesty, i just could NEVER THINK OF LORE FOR HER. so she got nothing. she was just. kind of there. and that was that. and nothing else.

to be completely honest with you, she was plain even if i absolutely adored her more than anything on this planet ...

i'm still working on a lot of things with this version of her ! but i'm trying to stray away from like the entire ...... typical stuff, but it's still pretty much with her as i didn't take it away or anything, just focusing more on the game stuff makes ME upset because i only focus on that and yadda yadda whatever!

this time, i actually have lore and how she ends up with everyone. but because i don't follow the comic anymore or really anything, a lot of it is my interpretation (and the fact the game doesn't really "exist" but does exist because of them having "powers"? i guess? i can probably talk about it in a different post but yeah! i just don't care about the game or the rest of the characters sorry)

so, the lore for ashley on how she got in the beta/alpha kids' timeline is this:

ashley's timeline somehow got corrupted. a lot of that is purely unknown and she doesn't even know *why* her timeline got corrupted. but she ends up in their timeline, kind of just appearing from thin air. quite literally.

although she basically FELL FROM THE SKY. long story short: she is unable to get back to her timeline. a part of me thinks that she was SUPPOSED to be in the beta/alpha timeline, but something happened for an error to occur, thus her being in the null timeline.

if that's too much for you, just know that she's unable to get back to her timeline and is stuck in the timeline she's quote on quote "supposed" to be in.

because of this happening, she doesn't know if her own family is alive or well, or they'll appear in this timeline—i'll call it the OG timeline, AKA original timeline (as it's canon and so forth. sorry for the technicalities). however, i have no ideas for her family yet, maybe i'll add jax but i also highly doubt it. i don't know! don't want to add too much to my plate, so that's in the backburner for the time being!

knowing this information, ashley being in a completely new place—new timeline—she is alone, like completely so alone and the only thing she sees is like four people. which as much as she's already wary of her surroundings and already hypervigilant on where she is, she does at the very go over to them; or they go over to her.

won't get into HUGE details on that! but i absolutely adore the betas and she will be honestly afraid to even get to close to them. i had the thought of her being this fearful to get close to people because of her ending up in the og timeline, being alone, and without really any familiar faces to see. ashley has this sort of thought of if she gets close to them, something bad would happen to *them* and she doesn't want that! considering that they seemed to offer hospitality and are cordial with her (well, for the most part, most of them seem friendly. even if using the term friendly is a stretch on talking on some), she would feel awful if something bad happened to them at her expense.

in all honesty, i didn't want her to just be a self insert for dave tbh... i want her to have her own like background and story, and lore, and relationships with the other characters! i also like doing silly scenarios with the other characters with her! it's very fun ^_^

so you know how richard literally worshipped henry and saw him as god (kinda) or at least this flawless being etc etc. this makes me curious in how do you think bunny saw henry? we know how he talked about henry rather positively during that lunch with richard. but did he also worship henry in the same level as richard's or do you think bunny had very different view of this man and could see him beyond his perfect surface??? love ur bunny posting btw :3

ok HUFF i have many Though.ts about this and theyve evolved ever since i read the book the first time. i wanna write a concise reply without yapping so i just cut like entire blocks of text.....sigh. let me try and gather my throughts for real

(irrelevant thoughts added with asterisk * at the end)

i think one of the biggest ways bunny differed from the others in the group-- and a big reason for henry's growing distaste for him-- was the fact that Bunny didn't worship henry like he SHOULD have.

Bunny, out of everyone (even richard), received the most amount of grace from Henry. Yes, Henry saved Richard from dying in that shithole in winter, and he 'saved' (debatable) Camilla from Charles, but how many times do you think, in the 3 years he knew Bun, did he pay for Bunny's food, clothes, and most likely medicine/inhalers etc. (thats another headcanon for another time i was just about to type a whole ahh paragraph). Considering everything he'd done for Bunny, Bunny should've been the one most devoted to him. And yet, he was ironically the least devoted. (but i'd argue he was somewhat of a devotee anyway)*

I say Bunny admired Henry enough to stick with him throughout the bachanal attempts. Given his conservative way of thinking and unserious attitude towards the practice, I was always baffled about WHY bunny even gave a shit about the bacchanal, why he didn't blow them all off. He surely didn't care enough to be involved in the practice for the sake of Francis (homosexual) or Camilla (woman, incest-er), or Charles (alabama) because by then he was disillusioned with them all. He gave a shit because Henry was doing it. He wanted to be involved because he wanted to stick by Henry.

Bunny's almost child-like dependence and clingy-ness (Read: How he drove Henry mad in Rome by following him EVERYWHERE. even to the BATH?) when it came to Henry was also baffling considering his brash and over-confident, 'masculine' character. He probs knew he was dependent on Henry, like a devotee is to a god. Or a son is to a father. (DONT. get me started on THAt. i have talked about it before i will no shutup ABOT it,)

So now we have established that Bunny did in fact worship Henry to some degree, but in the end he only saw him as another man (cough. A friend.) Because Bunny was not so detached from the rest of the world like Richard and the others were, he had a foot lodged in the door of reality and he only occasionally peeked into crazy lala cult land for the sake of Henry every now and then. He most likely assumed he'd be able to get away with it by just doing performative shit for his friends like wearing togas and singing in the forest lol.

Bunny's image of Henry's superiority or his godhood shattered in Rome, when he realized he was nothing more to Henry than...well, whatever Henry had called him in his journal. And also, that Henry was apparently crazy enough to kill a man with his bare hands. (MIND YOU, he read HENRY'S direct thoughts on the murder. Thus we can argue he knew about the murder more intimately than anyone else did. I just know Henry didn't really voice his true thoughts with any of the others (about how the murder probably felt exhilarating) but BUNNY read that shit. So thats when he realized just how fucked up Henry really was.)

Now, for richard and the others (particularly richard) the murder did nothing but lowkey solidify Henry's 'godhood' (and power) because these fucking morons were so detached from reality that they fr thought they were living in a greek myth or something. lame as hell. (me biggest greek class hater , hater #1)

Also I think its a bit karmic-ally satisfying how and why Henry meets his end lol. It IS through Bunny, and brought about by his OWN hand (Henry turned the letter, Henry pressed the trigger). But the reason Henry was really driven to it was because his own god was destroyed when he was shunned by him (Julian).

Henry's hand shoved Bunny off the cliff, but Bunny's hand wrote his ruin.

What does a scorned follower do when he loses his faith? He destroys his god. So Bunny's final act of prayer-- he destroyed Henry through Julian. Julian's godhood for Henry shattered when he abandoned him. An eye for an eye.

*Henry became extremely disillusioned with Bunny AFTER Bunny refused to observe the rites properly. Up until then, he was tolerating him despite everything, even the stupid stunt he pulled with richard LMAo. I guess the rites thing really showed Henry how little Bunny was willing to do for him, so he cut him out of the bacchanal entirely.
