HAHAHA omg it’s so funny u ask because yes, it is, kind of! the gum i had in mind while writing was hubby bubba’s strawberry watermelon gum, which was my fave when i was a lil kid hehe c: it's super thick and it looses its flavour within five minutes of being in your mouth so all i could imagine was tomura popping piece after piece (the very moment they lose their flavour) and ending up with a massive wad in his mouth, welding to his molars and coated in his spit and slurring his words hehe
