Arthur had been getting an item from the general store, but as he came out the door, a familiar figure seemed to pass him. Someone he thought was dead, he felt his breath hitch. Was he really seeing them? Surely not, it must be the fatigue and lack of a good meal. Patiently, to feed his curiosity, he waited patiently outside of the store by a bench, seeing if the man who would soon exit was real, or his imagination.

To his surprise, they came outside and passed him, Arthur blinked a few times as if he was hallucinating. It looked exactly like Hosea. He stood up and followed behind them, but not too close to be in the range of potentially being knifed. "Hosea, is that you?" he asked with a slight crack in his voice.

I can not stress enough how much the duel with kazuha’s friend is integral to au verse sara’s guilt bc that duel carries the death of someone! tht duel carried a grieving witness! I think sara saw something when kazuha leapt forward and grasped that dying vision. I think she knew tht in another world that would’ve been her vision. and no one would leap forward to catch it. I think she stayed up late that night haunted by the slaughter she believes is on her hand. I think she has this stark realization (even if she always knew) that she could’ve died that day. and no one would’ve cared. the shogun would’ve struck her general down. and then later in the aq when miko reveals the crimes of the kujou clan i know it ran through her mind again.

I've been stitching some cicadas lately. This year is going to be a big one for the screaming bugs!

For those interested in making their own cross stitched cicadas, the patterns are available for sale here and here! (Please note: my software skills mean that I had to freehand the AAAAAs rather than place them in the pattern itself, so those are not included in the patterns. This does mean that you can make these little guys uniquely your own and add any sort of scream that you'd like, though!)
