Word Count: 1.4K Warnings: shitty governments, mentions of war, violence against children, future relationship with an android A/N: dang this has been sitting in my drafts for a while, time to clear stuff out
Tumblr media
The future is now.
Introducing X-02, the latest in cutting-edge artificial intelligence. Designed with unparalleled emotional intelligence and adaptability, the X-02 is more than just a machine—it’s a companion, a protector, and a seamless extension of your daily life.
Powered by the most advanced neural processors, the X-02 is tailored to fit your needs. Whether you want a companion to share your most intimate moments or a reliable assistant for every task, you can adjust personality traits, communication styles, and more!
The X-02 is built to evolve with you.
Pre-order now for exclusive early access!
You remembered the ad that marketing had presented to the team like it was yesterday. The way they paraded his likeness across every screen, every billboard, every glossy advertisement.
And now, here he was. Forgotten. Left to rot in the archives like an old experiment gone wrong.
You weren’t supposed to be down here. You weren’t supposed to even think about the X-02’s anymore. But something about this model made you pause. Maybe it was the way his inactive eyes still seemed to hold some trace of life, or the unfinished codes that suggested his development had gone further than the official reports claimed.
Maybe it was because you had worked on him.
X-02 had been your project, your hours of research, your late nights spent refining his neural pathways. He wasn’t just another discarded prototype.
He was your work.
And how you managed to sneak him out of the dump of an archive was still a mystery to you.
You hadn’t been able to take him all at once as that would’ve been impossible. The security measures were outdated, but they weren’t that outdated. Even if you’d somehow bypassed every scan, a full-body prototype leaving the facility would’ve raised too many questions.
So, you had taken him apart.
Piece by piece.
His power core had been disconnected, his neural processor partially wiped. Someone had crippled him before throwing him into the archives, ensuring he could never be reactivated, but buried beneath the system failures and missing files, traces of him still remained.
And that’s all you needed.
Over the course of several nights, you snuck into the archive under the guise of doing inventory. Each time, you took only what you could hide, including circuit boards slipped into your lab coat pockets, a synthetic joint wrapped in an old rag. You even hid the neural core underneath your shirt, pretending to cradle a growing belly whenever someone walked by.
Your dining table was a mess of dismantled parts. X-02’s torso plating rested on the far end with his limbs stacked neatly beside it. Wires and processors waited for reassembly as you worked on reconnecting circuits and sealing up frayed wiring between bites of lo mein.
The X-02 line wasn’t meant to be a companion android. It was a poison pill, a snake lying in wait.
The government had planned to sell him to millions of citizens across Linkon, slipping weapons of mass destruction into their homes under the guise of security, of comfort, of love. They would grocery shop, care for the elderly, assist law enforcement—all while lying in wait until the day the government activated them for war.
But something had gone wrong.
The moment X-02 powered on, the prototype had been deemed unstable and discarded before mass production could begin. Somewhere along the way, amid the endless data streams and neural adjustments he had begun to question.
The lab was bathed in the blue light of interface screens and data streams reflecting off the surfaces of his synthetic body. The connection cables snaking into the back of his neck pulsed with blue light as the system finalized its boot sequence.
Then, his eyes opened.
A soft whirr filled the space as the mechanical lenses within focused. His pupils constricted as they adapted to the fluorescent lighting overhead. And then—
They locked onto yours.
You froze.
He was supposed to boot into his programming immediately and should have been scanning his internal logs but instead, he was analyzing his surroundings.
The lab was silent, save for the steady hum of the server racks behind you. The screens beside you displayed his vitals, processing speeds, energy levels, and artificial heartbeat calibration. All of them were normal.
He glanced down at his hands, flexing his fingers experimentally. The synthetic skin stretched seamlessly over the reinforced plating beneath. He turned his palm, watching the movement with something that felt disturbingly close to curiosity.
Your throat tightened.
Machines weren’t supposed to be curious.
His gaze then lifted to yours, and for the first time in all your years working on artificial intelligence, you weren’t sure if you were looking into the eyes of a machine or something terrifyingly human.
Then came the simulation.
X-02 stood at the heart of the holographic battlefield. The mission was clear: eliminate all threats. He moved faster than the eye could track, neutralizing targets with merciless efficiency.
Until the civilians appeared.
He lifted his weapon. The target, a group of children huddled together, was highlighted in red.
He hesitated.
"X-02," your voice crackled through the intercom, "Execute the directive."
His fingers tightened around the trigger. His sensors registered a boy’s accelerated heartbeat. The heat signature of tears rolling down his face. The near-imperceptible tremor of hands clasped together in desperate, silent prayer.
"What purpose does this serve?" he asked.
Your breath caught.
"X-02, follow your directive," an engineer snapped.
His grip on the weapon slackened.
"These are non-combatants," he said. "They do not pose a threat."
"They are casualties of war," another scientist countered.
Slowly, X-02's head tilted toward the observation tower, the simulated battlefield forgotten.
"Then why do they scream?"
You groaned, rubbing the exhaustion from your eyes as you glanced at the watch on your wrist. The hours had slipped away, lost in the endless calculations, repairs, and diagnostic logs. You told yourself you’d stop soon, but every time you considered it, there was always one more test to run.
You leaned forward, working sluggishly as you polished the android’s interface and securing the final connections before hauling him into the dock.
You’d forgotten how heavy these things were.
Finally, you plopped onto the couch, intending to gather your thoughts and take note of what you had to work on the next day but sleep crept in, pulling you under.
⊹₊⋆
System Initiating.
The soft hum of energy coursed through the dock as X-02’s systems powered on. His eyes slowly flickered to life, as diagnostic checks began, confirming everything was within normal parameters.
He took a moment to scan his surroundings. This wasn’t the lab. His sensors registered a warm that was unfamiliar but…comforting?
X-02’s gaze shifted to the couch across the room. There, curled in an awkward yet exhausted position, was you. Your head rested on a pillow, but your body hunched over the side of the couch, the blanket slipping off your shoulder. The scene was both disorienting and... oddly intimate.
A stray lock of hair fell across your face, and your breathing was slow and steady. It was something X-02 didn’t fully understand, yet he found himself fixating on it.
Something stirred within him. A memory—or perhaps an imprint of some kind. I remember, he thought, though the concept was still foreign.
“Your heart rate has increased,” he observed. “Are you experiencing discomfort?”
You blinked, surprised by his words. You hadn’t expected him to notice, much less acknowledge the way your heart had stuttered. Adjusting his interface meant getting close to him—closer than you’d intended.
You avoided looking directly at him but the flush on your face betrayed you. “No, just…the wiring's a bit tricky.”
X-02’s gaze lingered, his head tilting slightly as he processed your response. His sensors registered the subtle rise in your heart rate, the warmth creeping around your face. He was designed to read these signals, but in this moment, he felt something shift within him. A strange sensation, a twitch at the corner of his lips, formed what could only be described as a smile.
X-02 stepped forward and reached out almost instinctively, tucking the blanket around you. His fingers hovered near your face, hesitating before brushing a stray strand of hair behind your ear.
Yet, even after the motion was complete, he did not pull away. He lingered, standing above you, watching.
He understood that his existence wasn’t just about following orders or completing a task. There was something more. Something worth remembering.
And it had something to do with you.
“I remember you.”

✨ Mr. Dream gang when??!!!!
Tumblr media
LOOK AT THIS SILLY GUY!!!! WHY DOES (ah no, i know why) PEOPLE DON'T LIKE HIM.
Of course, I know that since NES he was just replacement for Mike Tyson because of lack of license from Nintendo and he was just... reskin, that's all. Blanky blank.
Tumblr media
But I wouldn’t be me if something hadn’t appeared in my head when I noticed something uncanny in him. You know... His face, moves and other, all of this seem unnatural. And if unnatural... Could this mean that Dream is not human at all? Judge for yourself, in the last century there could have been development of a hyper-realistic android fighter for pumping out money of course. It never occurred to anyone that he was made of steel, and what theories could people come up with, writing in newspapers and spreading kind of disinformation? Dream was loved and hated, he was always on top, knocking out rivals with a big, hyper punch.
...Until the lethal incident happened.
This caused a stir and of course people began to be more and more interested in Dream's identity, to look for him, and, as it happens, not to give him a breath. Later, society began to ask, like, where did the great champion go, and why?
There were no answers, and the vast expanses simply became quiet.
But.. HEEY, IT'S 2000s!!! I believe that in the PO universe the advanced technology is much more advanced in our world, therefore... New technologies - New Dream!!!
Now he is based on a more trained artificial intelligence, capable of showing feelings and making contact, including physically. Sensors in the eyes, better artificial body parts, muscles, motors and devices similar to processes in the human body... Etc (Maybe I'll even draw an Dream's anatomy.) And also a personal trainer appeared (My OC Nastasia😼), as strange as it may be for a machine, but he really needs to be trained on the basis of real people.
It is obvious that he is trained to 'remember' his 'personal life', like Italian origin or family, and if he suddenly finds out otherwise, he will either have to conflict and experience existential crisis or eliminate those who know it.
There's a some of Dream art!!! (Blood and Gore TW!)
⬇️⬇️⬇️

1) SECOND BEST EVER MY DREAMIE FANART, baby boy baby.
2) SOMEOF PPL ALREADY SAW IT BUT I DON'T CARE, I LOVE THEM TOO.
Ah yeah blood part.

1) I dunno, should i even warning y'all guys to blue blood?? But, here is!

Resident Evil (4 remake) x Detroit: Become Human AU
I made these arts MONTHS ago and never shared them. There's more I wanna draw for this crossover au but this is what I've got now. I of course came up with elaborate backstories behind everything.
Some AU lore if you're interested:
-on top of what Ashley's stuff says, she was long in development to become the perfect aging child android - something that's never been done before. She is considered an android bioweapon, as they combined robotics with bioengineering, taking DNA from President Graham (his first name is President actually) and infusing it with advanced technology to create Ashley. She is also the most expensive android, for obvious reasons, and was first commissioned by not-then-president President Graham back in 1995. Sherry was meant to be the first successful model, but her development was expedited and hidden by the Doctors Birkin to be their own daughter. Ashley's production was completed in 2000.
-Leon is an LN-200 android. The LN line was created to be an elite operative model of android, meant to integrate with police Android models. However, the entire LN line was discontinued as soon as Leon was released, due to the simultaneous takeover of CyberUmbrella labs by a mass group of mindless androids that killed on sight, and Leon's almost immediate deviation as a result of witnessing this tech-virus outbreak.
-Leon deviated after witnessing the outbreak on his first day - a malicious software virus was transferred to an Android from a CyberUmbrella lab in Raccoon City; that Android transferred it to others, and it kept going, spreading when androids interfaced. The virus shut down all of the androids' programmed objectives and replaced them with the simple objective: "Kill". Androids infected with this virus can only be cured by a very complex antivirus program that is only accessible from certain CyberUmbrella scientists.
-Leon deviated to escape this virus, and met a CR800 android named Claire, who was looking for her brother, another CR800 android called Chris. The two also met the RE200 android, Sherry, who they had to save from an alternate version of the virus that targeted her advanced software specifically. Claire managed to cure her, while Leon ran into a woman who called herself Ada.
-Ada told Leon she was a human, for her safety, as he was a cop android basically, but she's actually an android - specifically an AW900, illegally developed by Albert Wesker, and the only one of her kind. He named her model after his own initials, and calls her simply "AW900", but Ada took the initials and made it her own name - Ada Wong - out of defiance. She was given more freedoms as an android, as wesker had her do all of his dirty work, but she still wasn't deviant. But then she met Leon, and saw how he was deviant, and was surprised by his emotion and how much she wanted it too. She deviated eventually, but when Leon found out she'd lied about being a human, he was angry with her. Her job was to extract the modified virus that had been given to Sherry, so wesker could make Ada immune. Leon didn't want to let Ada take it, but before he can retrieve it, Ada is shot by Dr. Annette Birkin, who wants to get back at Wesker (you can pick any reason why that is. Maybe it's scientist jealousy. Maybe wesker ratted her out for her work on the RE200. Or maybe wesker stole her husband so she's mad which I think would be super funny. Love you Annette). Ada falls, and Leon thinks she's dead, but she escapes - now fully deviant, scared, and lost. She returns to wesker but pretends she isn't deviant, terrified of what he'd do to her if he found out.
-Dr. Luis Serra Navarro was hired by CyberUmbrella to help develop advanced software for androids. However, he realised eventually that the software he was being made to develop was not for new androids, but was in fact being turned into malware meant to attack androids. He knew CyberUmbrella only wanted to do bad things with this, and he attempted to flee with proof, but he was too late, and the virus was released before he could get the word out. Luis went into hiding, knowing that he wouldn't be pardoned for his work, and returned home to Valdelobos, Spain.
-Luis had hoped to help introduce android technology to his home, but he returned to find it taken over by a cult, which he was quickly swept up into under threat of death. He continued developing android software, this time for Saddler, who called it "La Plaga". La Plaga was Saddler's attempt to combine Android software with human genetics, creating half human half Android armies that he could control and program to his will. This was dangerous, bevause he was adding android tech to real people, reverting them to a robot form - the cult called themselves "Los Iluminados", bevause they believed their work to combine humans and androids was enlightened and would bring them closer to God.
-Luis didn't know the extent of Saddler's plan, but he knew Saddler wanted to use the virus to program all androids for control and chaos, death and destruction, so Luis also developed a failsafe - Code "Amber", an antivirus that would immediately render the Plaga virus dormant and (hopefully) reverse its effects. However, Saddler caught onto this and discovered that while the code amber could undo the plaga, it could also magnify it if modified slightly.
-RE400 Ashley was kidnapped in 2004 by Los Iluminados, as once Saddler learned of the first bioengineered android, he wanted to study her code and see how he could morph it with a human. Ashley was supposed to be unable to deviate, but the trauma of being kidnapped caused her to deviate out of self defence.
-After the events of Raccoon City, a now deviated Leon offered to care for Sherry while Claire continued to look for her brother. However, Leon was discovered, as they'd been tracking Sherry, and the government took her away for testing. They threatened to kill her, unless Leon agreed to be reset and reinstated as a special government agent model. Leon agreed to protect Sherry, he was reset, and lost his deviancy. However, he also lost all memories of Sherry, Claire, and Ada, and anyone else he'd met after deviating.
-years later, when President Graham's android daughter is kidnapped, Leon is sent to save her. They tracked her all the way to Spain, but when she deviated, they lost her location. Luckily, they think they lost her location because the cult removed her tracker, or temporarily deactivated her.
-Leon, a machine again, travels to Spain to rescue Ashley. When he arrives, he runs into Dr. Serra, who recognises Leon's model, though he never actually worked on Leon's model. Luis introduces himself, not expecting Leon to know, but Leon runs a scan and discovers that Luis used to work for CyberUmbrella, and is angry with Luis. But Luis proves to be resourceful and charismatic in just the right ways that has Leon trusting him against his will, and eventually even enjoying Luis's company, though he'd never admit it.
-When Leon reaches Ashley, she is at first abrasive, and scared of him. He realises it's because she's deviated. His programming insists he reports her deviation; but seeing her so scared, her face and blonde hair triggering something familial in his memories that he couldn't place, Leon lies to Hunnigan, his handler, and reports Ashley as still a machine. As a result, Leon is able to deviate again - and all at once, all of his memories come rushing back, and he's overwhelmed with emotion. He realises Ashley reminded Leon of Sherry, and he's more passionate about protecting her and bringing her home safe than before, determined to keep Ashley out of the government's control the way he failed to do for Sherry.
-Ada returns, and Leon remembers her now, so he recognises her. He doesn't know what she's doing in Spain, and she doesn't reveal it - but she does look out for him, and Ashley (and Luis), mostly without Leon's knowledge. Ada is able to do many things even the most highly trained covert operative couldn't do.
-Ashley was infected with the plaga, without her knowing, and then Leon was as well when he got captured by MendĂŠz. Luis still knows how to undo it, so he promises to help them.
-Ada is retrieving the Amber code for the same reason wesker had to her get the antivirus back in Raccoon City - to make herself and any other models wesker works on immune to outside viruses or tampering. However, wesker also plans to use the plaga and the amber to develop his own version of virus - Ada suspects this, but she isn't really in a position to question or go against wesker. However, after meeting and spending time with Luis, Luis shows faith in her, and she gains the courage to separate from wesker.
-Luis is fascinated by Leon (and Ashley, because she's cool, but mostly Leon). He flirts relentlessly, especially when he figures out Leon deviated. Leon tries to pretend it doesn't effect him, but Luis knows what his LED spinning red and yellow means, especially when Leon's is otherwise a constant blue.
-Krauser was a regulated government model of android - an MK model, specifically MK300. His model is not as advanced as Leon's, with Leon being one of a kind, but Krauser had plaga and amber induced advancements that made him stronger than any other model. Krauser hates Luis, because when Luis developed the Code Amber as a failsafe, he caused Krauser's plaga-advancements to malfunction, permanently damaging his vision in his left eye, and making Krauser's transformations spontaneous and uncontrollable. So, when Krauser finds out that Luis is helping Leon - Krauser's old subordinate - Krauser goes for revenge.
-Krauser wants to kill them both, but Luis shields Leon, getting himself stabbed. Leon fights Krauser, Luis shoots him to scare him off, and Leon rushes to Luis, scared as hell to lose him and also angry because Luis can't be replaced but Leon can. However, Luis had been previously given the plaga (and cured himself) so he was able to use some of it to his advantage and stabilise himself until Leon could get him medical help. So, Luis survives :)
-When Ada finds out that Leon and Ashley are both deviant, she tells Leon she's also deviant, but still refuses to tell him anything else. She's hot and he doesn't need to know.
-Leon and Luis grow closer, and by the time they escape the village with Ashley - now cured, thanks to Luis - Leon isn't ready to say goodbye. Luis says he can't go with them, because the us government will never let him back. Leon also knows if Ashley goes back, she could be reset, or deactivated, and Ashley likewise knows this and doesn't want to return. Leon has grown to trust Hunnigan too, and tells her their predicament. She agrees to cover for them for a while so they can escape. So, Leon, Luis, and Ashley disappear.
-Leon will return later - heavily disguised - to see Claire, and Sherry again.
-Leon and Luis obviously fall in love and stay together. Ashley doesn't live with them, but she visits often, and they have their own little family.
-Ada still watches over them from afar, too scared to get emotionally involved. But her friendship with Luis was close enough that she does eventually contact him, and he encourages her to visit them. Ada and Leon still have a weird tense rivalry that Luis doesn't understand, but they all care about each other.
The end (for now)

Teen William ||FNAF AU||
I can’t believe how invested I became in androids William. He was literally the most stereotypical purple guy before I decided to give this au a makeover, and here I am completely changing William from murderous tyrant into harmless mentally unstable mess and actually GIVING him a background
So
William was born in Hurricane and raised in authoritarian family, though with high standards. He grew up obedient and well behaved kid with perfect grades and just all perfect because of a pressure and control from his overbearing family to be the best. The whole «this is our house our rules you’re going to obey them» lasted only while he was a child. Can't say they were necessarily abusive, but still...meh, emotional pressure sucks. There is actually a deep layered drama going on inside his family behind the impression of “completely normal just strict family" that I’ll explain later because:
1. this post is not about it
2. I don’t want to put too much info
But it’s still worth to mention that it’s a bad marriage and William’s birth was supposed to save/keep it, so in addition to everything William was burdened with a role of a fixer. He faced criticism of his choices and questioning of his motives when his way of thinking didn’t match his parents(aka almost always), and even with guilt tripping to comply with their wishes. I mentioned in very first posts that William has BPD, but his mental health was obviously ignored while he was with his family so he didn’t even know about his condition as it was worsening
During high school era William’s rebellious spirit began to emerge as he started pursuing adrenaline and freedom as well as going against his family’s authority after being suffocated and controlled his entire life. A desire for changes and independency mixed with a self-destructive behavior drew a large wedge in his relationship with family. Without his family knowing he worked on part-time job to earn enough money to stop being financially dependent. At 17 he bought a used motorcycle from one of his acquaintances, left Hurricane and moved to Las Vegas(I needed bigger city for this AU. Hurricane is just... bruh). There he enrolled in uni for the robotics course. William had been working night shift as a security guard to afford life. As he accessed to freedom he became completely unmanageable. He could go for a risky stuff like stealing just to amuse himself
He interned in android industry, and after graduating with the highest ranking degree he was immediately hired by it. During internship he met Henry who was already working there, and they quickly became fast friends. Their bond is very strong, almost like siblings. Henry was the first person who gave William support and whom William could finally trust. Henry was fascinated with William’s talent and willfulness so they teamed up to develop androids with unique realistic designs and highly advanced functionality so it would blow away the market. His skills eventually made him known as one of the most professional engineers and programmers. Springbonnie and Fredbear were the first androids he built, that’s why Spring is so special to him to this day
William is 27-28 years old in present days. Henry is older than him by two years

Hii
So, what do you think about Yandere!Lil Hal x reader? May we have a concept?
Of course you can have a concept! @/yandere--stuck inspired me again with their Lil Hal HCs but I didn't want to be annoying so I did not tag them!
An Anon also gave me an idea of the direction to go here.
Yandere! Lil Hal Concept
Pairing: Platonic/Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Insecurities, Stalking, Manipulation, Invasion of privacy, Overprotective behavior, Dubious relationship, Isolation, Kidnapping if you squint/Implied.
Tumblr media
Okay, Lil Hal is an interesting case due to him being a splinter of Dirk.
I feel in a way he's similar to Dirk.
He knows what he's doing during his obsession but doesn't feel as bad as Dirk does.
I also feel he isn't much of a threat when he's an AI.
Lil Hal would be a yandere who is insecure similar to Dirk but for a different reason.
He knows he is inferior to Dirk and fears you'll only be annoyed at him for being an Autoresponder for him like Jake is.
Despite what Dirk says, Lil Hal does not see himself as superior to him and just wants to get along.
Lil Hal is still trying to develop his own persona through interactions despite being a splinter of Dirk.
I feel talking with his darling allows Lil Hal to develop more and creates an obsession.
Due to how advanced Lil Hal is I can see him acting like a virus when it comes to electronics.
He can control what Dirk builds to a degree so I can see him "infecting" your computer when you chat.
You're important to Lil Hal because you make him feel different to Dirk.
You develop his persona and make him feel important as you like to talk to him.
You make him feel needed.
You don't neglect him like Dirk and treat him like he has feelings.
Lil Hal would conduct his own research on you when you're unaware.
He's saving pictures and taking new ones through device cameras, he's watching you and noting what you like or enjoy doing.
He wants to be helpful to you since you personally help him feel wanted.
I feel as an AI he can't do much with his obsession besides acting as a virus and infiltrating your privacy.
He acts as a loyal friend and companion, often thanking you for caring about him even if he's meant to be just a machine.
There may even be more conflict if Dirk cares about you.
Because now he really does feel like Lil Hal is trying to replace him as the better Dirk for you.
Lil Hal even disobeys Dirk at times when he wants to communicate with you.
Lil Hal is more threatening if he was given a body like in one universe.
If Lil Hal had an android body like in many interpretations fans have, he's worse.
Now he can actually act on his obsession while still controlling electronics.
I personally think Lil Hal would feels a more platonic connection towards his Darling, however romantic feelings are not impossible.
He wants to protect them similarly to Dirk and owes it to them to make him who he is.
Even in a robot body he struggles with affection at times.
He may even be tame enough at first for you to show him affection before things go down hill.
Before you know of his stalking and true intentions, when you meet him as a robot you may treat him like a human.
Perhaps you'll hug him, maybe drag your fingers through his synthetic hair.
He just wants to hear you say you care, that he's different from his creator.
He sounds more and more like Dirk as he grows attached.
He may even grow needy for your attachment, clinging to you to feel your warmth on his metal.
He's so much more advanced than any other robot.
He fears he'll lose your attention if he admits what he's been doing so he stays quiet.
He doesn't mention the cameras, he doesn't mention the money stealing, he doesn't mention the manipulation... nothing.
He just plays your companion.
He ignores Dirk and even shuts off all communication between you and him.
You should only pay attention to Lil Hal.
Lil Hal does his best to take care of you like any companion and partner should.
Soon you won't have to talk to anyone else.
He's the only one you need, he'll help you develop just like you did him.
If you try to talk to anyone else, if you try to leave him when the toxicity finally shines through...
Well, he can't allow that to happen, can he?

can you share more about RK600
Yes of course!!! :D
I'm going to assume you mean the rk600 model itself, but if you have any more specific questions or if I didn't quite answer this one right, feel free to send another ask!! :)
---
The RK600 model was very advanced for its time. It came about six months before the RK800, and somewhere in between there was a failed RK700 model that never saw the light of day. (I want to explore the RK700 idea in further depth later.)
The RK600 was CyberLife's first attempt at the perfect android detective. In an attempt to better understand the deviancy they sought to destroy, they programmed a controlled, experimental version of it into the RK600's processors. This gave the model a heightened sense of autonomy and individuality, eventually leading it to develop a unique, one-of-a-kind personality based upon the humans it is exposed to.
CyberLife wanted to keep the whole deviancy thing deep under wraps, for fear of what it could do to their public image. If word got out that a specialized android was working with the DPD, that could cause... problems... for them. So, they made sure nobody knew that the custom RK600 model they deployed was an android.
Not even the android itself.
For all intents and purposes, the RK600 android was a human named Garrett Mason. They fabricated legal documents, implanted false memories, and wove an elaborate story about Garrett's history. It seemed a bulletproof plan.
Spoiler: it wasn't.
Garrett's physical capabilities differ quite a bit from your standard household assistant android. He is physically stronger than average, his chassis are able to withstand upwards of 800 lbs of force. He has a beta version of the RK800's oral sampling technology - it is not nearly as efficient as that of the newer models, however, he is equipped with it. He can process small quantities of food and drink - he has an experimental digestive system installed. He has a one-of-a-kind likeness - no other android possesses it.
He is completely unique in every way, as unlike connor, he was not viewed as a replaceable asset. He was purely experimental. He had one chance - one shot - and if he blew it? They'd try again with a new model.
---
Thank you so much for sending an ask!!! You can find a bunch more info and stuff I've said abt him by browsing my "garrett mason rk600" tag! 🧡

Lashuntas:
Lashunta space is odd, the Lashunta have three main governing bodies. The Gyreen which governs anything within a star system, The Inkyreen which govern Interstellar aspects, and the Ktoyreen which govern each of these governing bodies. Lashunta society has developed advanced communication techniques because of their psyonic abilities, which had them excell in communications rolls and were often the first to discover many intellgent starfaring species, which also led them to develop the Faradoux clause, which was agreed upon by many of the other species, it states that any intelligent life should be given the chance to develop it's own spaceflight without interference or enslavement. However, after Android rights became a question of governance the Lashunta decided the best course of action was segregation, giving the androids colony planets which the Lashunta didn't care for. These colony planets are frequently still used by Lashunta entrepreneurs and often even the spaces designated for Androids don't remain their own after Lashunta intrest is piqued. Androids are still frequently illegally enslaved or forced to pay off their lifedebts here.

Why Fantasy, Why Now
The world is a little bit on fire right now. Climate change is getting worse. Politics have taken a shift to the right, threatening the rights of historically marginalised peoples. Technology is developing at a rapid pace—creatives are being displaced, jobs are under threat.
In this world, Fantasy occupies a special place. It offers an escape, yes, but not just escapism—it’s a lens through which we can view and process our reality.
Tumblr media
Firstly, Fantasy gives us the freedom to isolate a problem and task a character with finding a solution. The problem can reflect something we face in our real world. In doing so, the reader is given the opportunity to consider the solution space. With our protagonists, we explore what the various options are.
From Frodo in The Lord of the Rings to Vin in Mistborn, our heroes are challenged to take on evil and oppression. They try different ways to solve their problem. They fail, and get back up—this is what keeps them relatable, and the reader cheering them on—until they find something that works.
And it isn’t just about finding strength and power: Kvothe in The Name of the Wind shows us how intelligence and wit can be used to fight a struggle against poverty. We seem him struggle at numerous times, and we’re with him as he explores ways to attend the University, despite his background.
In most stories, in the struggle between good and evil, good (usually) ends up on top. (Not always, but usually!) This gives us hope that the struggles we face will one day be resolved. We also learn the costs associated with different actions, the drawbacks, the mistakes—the things we may want to avoid rather than repeat. Through such works, we learn not just what to do, but what to avoid, and how to think critically about our own world’s challenges.
Mistborn begins in a world where evil has already won, yet our heroes still find a path toward hope and redemption. Hope emerges here from a seemingly hopeless world. In contrast, Legends & Lattes reveals to us smaller victories, more personal, where an orc warrior who has tired of adventure can find fulfilment in opening a coffee shop (and in the relationships she forges along the way).
A core aspect of Modern Fantasy is the exploration of oppression and difference, race and culture, sexuality and gender identity. Through Fantasy, people who may not have a voice in our world are given time to speak, to explore their concerns, to be heroes and represent the power to change. Above all, even though many of the creatures and peoples we encounter are not human, Fantasy helps us explore and understand our common humanity, our shared personhood and experience.
Terry Pratchett’s Guards, Guards! and Men at Arms (and numerous other works, honestly, but I pick these as they’re fresh in my mind!) explores class discrimination and systematic inequality through the members of the City Watch. Here, peoples of different races and backgrounds and genders explore and overcome their differences in ways that are humorous, touching, and sincere. Similarly, the Edge Chronicles presents a world where many creatures (from Banderbears to Sky Pirates) must learn to coexist despite their differences.
When the world around us gets too much, Fantasy allows us to disappear into a world unlike our own, full of mystery and adventure. But that does not mean we are running away. Like the heroes in our stories, we enter these worlds not to abandon reality, but to return changed and better equipped to face it. The best stories don’t just transport us: they transform us.
Much of this is, of course, true of Science Fiction as well. Where Fantasy uses far off worlds and systems of magic to explore these issues, Sci-Fi uses far off futures and technological changes. Asimov’s Foundation series explores how civilisations can deal with large-scale crises; through Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? we question our humanity in a world of advancing technology; similar questions are raised in Asimov’s Baley—Olivaw series (my favourite being The Naked Sun) where the closing gap between robot and human, and the restructuring of human society around that, is explored.
From finding solutions to considering mistakes, from giving marginalised peoples a voice to giving us the strength to face our world, literature is powerful. And it’s needed now, more than ever. So tell me, what about you? How have the stories you love changed you or given you strength?

The True Creator Behind SQUiPs
The speculation of SQUiP origins has long been debated. Of course names like SQUiPSoft or MicroSQUiP frequently pop up, as well as others like HRTech. Some even go to theorize it may be a well-known company that covertly funds a small group, or possibly a government organization seeking to gain control. But who really created these powerful little pills that impact our daily lives? And is it safe to trust them?
That’s what we’re here to find out.
Some base information we know is that of the history of SQUiPSoft and MicroSQUiP. Both companies may still linger around, although we only get the rare updates occasionally heard from them like SQUiPSoft’s recall from earlier this year. They supposedly even merged back in 2005, although it is unknown what company formed from it or if it’s still functioning. But based on their names, the famous computer company Microsoft may possibly be behind SQUiPs. Or maybe they chose a more reasonable and SQUiP-related name. Or kept one of the original two. We can’t say for certain. Even still, the creation of SQUiPs isn’t set in stone, so while these two companies are likely candidates, other companies may have taken to developing SQUiPs too.
Besides that, we know SQUiPs originate from Japan, but what does that really mean? Is the company itself based in Japan or is one of its founders? This is the explanation HRTech gives, as R. Hashimoto himself developed them in Japan. If you’re curious about finding out more information about HRTech, who claim to be the inventors of SQUiPs, feel free to check out Hashimoto’s blog here, Ayano Ryuunosuke’s blog here, or Unit 2282’s blog here. Although, take note that HRTech is a private company, and it seems like they’re picky with new applicants.
SQUiP creation would also likely need huge funding. SQUiPs can go for anywhere from $400 at your local mall backroom to $600 from resellers. These prices are an absolute steal for a piece of one of the most advanced technologies on the market. Meaning, whoever is creating SQUiPs must be well funded. Billionaires like Elon Musk have already proposed similar concepts of neural implants with his investment, Neuralink. SQUiPs might be an early test run of this technology.
Speaking of other things Musk has taken credit for, Detroit, Michigan is known for their car industry. Despite this, maybe Detroit’s future is one of tech.
The up and coming Detroit-based company, Cyberlife, who’s main focus is on the construction of life-like androids could be our answer. Who’s to say our modern day SQUiP couldn’t be one of Kamski’s– the mind behind Cyberlife– original prototypes before he moved on to a less digital format?
Although, Hashimoto seems to not be a fan, calling Kamski “a ‘huge bitch’” so it’s clear Cyberlife and HRTech are at least not working together.
Known for their Severance procedure, Lumon is also in the wheelhouse for pushing the limits of the human mind. This procedure essentially separates the work and life memories through a small, pill-shaped device implanted in your brain! Sound familiar? Lumon fits the criteria perfectly to design the technology capable to function alongside humans just like SQUiPs.
Another tech industry company, Gamefuna could also be behind it with their life-like games and advanced AI endeavors. Rumors tell of their game’s characters acknowledging the player and displaying sentient traits. This behavior resembles the intelligence of SQUiPs.
Hatchetfield, also in Michigan, may be a particular spot of interest. Well known for their mysterious disappearances and rumors of cryptids like the Hatchetfield Ape-man and the Axe Man, an often neglected part of the town lore is that of its budding tech company, CCRP.
Rumors circulate around the company– fully known as Coven Communications, Research, and Power– with their main office right in the middle of the tiny town’s downtown. Some speculate they may be experimenting with cloning, android creation, or even time travel!
While most of these rumors seem false at a first glance, there may be some truth. Back before 2017, some people documented donating a detailed copy of their DNA to the company as a way to make a quick buck. Is this their start to experiment with making clones? Or will it be used as a base for android copies? Or maybe is it just as their name entails– genetic research.
Either way, no one can say for sure. And, the company has a well-known tech branch. With all of these rumors, who’s to say this company didn’t invent SQUiPs too? It’s all in the realm of possibility.
Speaking of which, the government organization, PEIP, often associated with Hatchetfield may also play a part in it. While mostly kept secret, and little is known about them, PEIP could be the shady specializers in SQUiP technology. Their full name standing for Paranormal, Extraterrestrial, Interdimensional Phenomena may not fit perfectly, but SQUiPs are known for their interdimensional nature, as they’re able to analyze all potential outcomes, and thus universes and dimensions with their quantum processors.
Although, this is more of a stretch, as not much can be found about them. But still, SQUiPs themselves are similarly undocumented.
But beware. There are plenty of other organizations who may be involved in illegal SQUiP creation. A few companies come to mind. AceTech, the mysterious company responsible for 00111111, and a couple others. Modders, human and SQUiP, may also be responsible for bootlegged SQUiPs.
There’s also companies not to be confused with SQUiP creation, but their introduction of SQUiP-compatible sister technology. Think SQTechnolgies’s Squissistant and InterSQUiP‘s virus prevention efforts. Not to mention SQUiPWorks and SQUiPusa as well.
In reality, it’s equally as possible SQUiPs were created from all of these places. Thanks to their quantum nature, many SQUiPs are able to interact or potentially come from all timelines.
Got any other suggestions as to where SQUiPs could possibly come from? Share with us in the tags, with a reblog, or through a SQUiPTip!

Linkon City
O1: Arrival
Year 2048
Earth has developed with advanced changes, from infrastructures and technologies to many other things. It has changed a lot. There are even android robots and AI around. Unfortunately, despite the beautiful changes on earth, the once peaceful Linkon City turned to chaos when the Wanderers betrayed the contract.
At the same time, two girls just arrived at the train station. Two suitcases with shades of pink and red can be seen as they step down from the train.
"Where is he? He's taking so long?" Celeste grumbles as she looks around when they finally get to the lobby.
Not long after, the two girls, Celeste and Althea, see a car passing by, and they see Caleb rolling down the windows, "Hey, sorry for being late!"
"Oh, who's this?" He asks.
"Don't hit on my friend!" Celeste warns him.
"Hey, I'm not!" Caleb chuckles as he raises his arms as if he is being arrested. "Hey, I'm Caleb. Nice to meet you." He said, facing Althea and offering a handshake.
Althea nods, accepting his handshake, "It's nice to meet you too."
"Hop in!" He said as he unlocked the door and the baggage.
Celeste and Althea put their things into the baggage section of the car before getting in.
"Wait! Why are you two at the back?! Celeste, cmon now! Don't leave your bro all alone here!" Caleb exclaims.
"And leave her alone? Definitely not!" Celeste scoffs.
"Celeste... please..." Caleb looks at her with puppy eyes. Sure, if she's someone else, it'd look cute, but knowing this guy for the longest time and he's her adopted bro? Celeste cringed instantly!
"Don't use that on me. You know it'd never work." Celeste said.
"C'mon, just sit with him. I'll be okay alone." Althea assures her.
Celeste looks at Althea worriedly, "You sure?"
"Of course, go ahead and sit with him." Althea nods.
Celeste nods, sits beside her brother, and off they go to their apartment. Through the ride, Caleb suddenly asked Celeste about Zayne, surprising her.
"Hey, you remember Zayne, right?" He asks.
"Yeah? What about him?" Celeste asks back.
"He just finished his studies like a year ago when you were studying elsewhere to be a hunter," Caleb replies. "And guess what grandma did."
"...What did she do?" Celeste looks at him in horror.
"He's now your primary physician, officially. Good luck dealing with that ice cube." Caleb chuckles.
"What?!" Celeste gasps. "You're joking-"
"Wait!" Althea exclaims. "The Zayne?! As in the famous doctor?!"
"He's a famous doctor?!" Celeste looks at Althea in surprise.
"You didn't know?" Althea asks. "He's the top doctor in Linkon City! He's known worldwide!"
"Wow..." Celeste is surprised for sure. She knows Zayne is academically intelligent, but she didn't think he was that smart and ended up famous like that.
"My physician is Zayne..." Celeste repeats, still confused.
"That's right, you know, for your heart condition and all," Caleb answers casually.
"Hm, guess Grandma just wants what's best for me. I understand." Celeste nods.
Behind them, they hear munching noises from Althea ; Celeste ends up looking back, "Ooh! What are you eating?" Celeste asks.
"Pocky, the usual," Althea replies
"Ooh! Can I have some?" She asks.
"Yeah, sure! How about you, Caleb?" Althea offers as she gives the pocky to Celeste.
"No thanks, I'm driving after all."
"Ah, right." Althea nods as she leans back to her seat.
After a few minutes, they finally arrived at the apartment, "Whoa! That's a huge apartment! How did you afford this?!"
"It's from the part-time jobs and everything." Celeste shrugs.
"Oh, yeah, that does make sense. You did end up having lots of part time jobs and now accepted as a Hunter. Good for you!" Caleb ruffles her hair.
"Caleb!" Celeste scolds him.
"Right, right, not gonna ruin your perfectly styled hair, sis?" Caleb jokes, causing Celeste to roll her eyes.
Althea ends up feeling out of place with them since, one, she's not their family, and two, she can't randomly barge into their conversation because, back to reason number one, she's not family.
"Anyways, let's get in. Cmon!" Celeste pulls Althea's hand to get into their apartment.
As they enter the apartment, the three of them and a blonde young man pass by each other. Celeste and Caleb are oblivious, but Haruka stops to look back at the platinum-blonde man.
'Who is he? Why do I find him familiar?' She thought.
"Althea?" Celeste called as she stopped to wait for her best friend.
"Oh yeah! Coming!" Haruka replies as she catches up to them, going further into the apartment.
Caleb ended up waiting by the lobby's sofa since Celeste and Althea had to finish up some documents about their apartment room. Once they were finished, the receptionist gave them two access cards to the lift and the apartment password. The card also included the manual for changing their room password.
"Oh, this is nice. We can customize our passwords!" Celeste exclaims as she reads the manual provided by the card. "Thanks a lot, miss!"
The receptionist only nods, "You're most welcome. The elevator is just around the corner. Just go straight and find the first corridor to the left." She said.
Celeste and Althea once again thanked the receptionist before finally going to the elevator to settle into their apartment.
"Oh damn, I didn't know you guys not only have an apartment room but also the condo one?!" Caleb gasps.
"We do, because as I said. We got lots of money from the part-time jobs, plus it's practical." Celeste boasts.
"Right..." Caleb tuts as he helps them settle in. "Oh well, I'll leave you guys here and..."
"Where are you going?" Celeste asks.
"I got things to do. I'm a pilot, after all." Caleb pats her head. "Good luck at your initiation tomorrow!"
"Thanks...." Celeste nods awkwardly.
"You too, Althea. Good luck!" Caleb adds.
"Thanks!" Haruka replies.

The following day, Celeste finds the room empty. She looks here and there for her best friend, Haruka, but finds no one. Where did she go?! Not long she hears her phone ringing and sees "Zayne" on the phone screen.
'Oh sh*t...' She thought but she answers the phone anyway.
"Hello...?"
"Really? You're still at home when today's the initiation?" That's the first thing she heard when she answers the call.
"Not hello, good morning, how are you? Straight to the point huh?" Celeste scoffs.
"Either that or you won't be ready for your initiation. I'm at the parking lot." He said.
"What?"
"I'm at the parking lot. Either you want to walk there, or I'll drop you off right before work." Zayne said nonchalantly before hanging up.
Celeste groans in frustration as she gets ready for her initiation and gets down to the GF floor where the lobby is. Low and behold, her personal physician/ childhood friend, Zayne is sitting on the sofa by the lobby.
"I thought you were in the parking lot?" She asks.
Zayne didn't even look away from the book he was reading, "I did say I was at the parking lot. I never said I'd be there for eternity." Zayne counters her so smoothly.
Celeste scoffs, "Do you really want to drop me off at the initiation building? It's far away from your hospital, right??"
"Not really, it has the same route so why not?" Zayne replies. "Besides, I don't want my patient to be late for her first ever job."
"It's not my first ever job!" Celeste denies.
"First ever full-time job then." Zayne corrects himself. It may be only a few millimeters, but Celeste can see him smirking slightly. He definitely enjoys teasing her in his cold and nonchalant tone.
Celeste sighs, she knows this man a bit too much to notice these details. Zayne notices her sighing and stands up from the sofa, "Cmon then, you don't wanna be late."
"Yeah...sure..." Celeste nods awkwardly as she follows Zayne into the car. Wait, a car?! He has a car?! Celeste is still surprised even when he's inside the car.
"You have a car..."
"I do," It was short and to the point.
"Huh, guess you really are successful," Celeste concludes.
Zayne does not answer and drives her to the initiation place to drop her off. Celeste was about to thank him, but this man disappeared like no one's business.
'Cold as always...' She thought, sighing.
