“In a world of boys, he’s a gentleman.” — mini series ❦︎
Synopsis: The feeling of finding a person who makes your tummy do cartwheels everyday, no matter what the situation is.
Pairings: nonidol!jungkook x fem!reader
Warnings: super cute duper fluff, jk being the epitome of every girls dream man. Argument, oc crying, Jungkook wasting money on oc, banter, cussing, flirting. Js super cute cliché shit…
a/n: they’re my babies… they’re so ‘tear in my heart’ coded but after this I might be inactive. I have a paper due in three weeks 10 pages long so…. Plus in my free time I’m working on a series that I will drop the teaser and aesthetic maybe later or tmr🤍🤍🤍 enjoy!! Kithes.
Falling in love with Jungkook was so easy that it scared you. He did everything right, and whenever there was something wrong, he would do anything in his power to make it right. You thought it was too good to be true, and he would just disappear into angel dust if you blinked too fast.
“How do you feel?” Your boyfriend moves your hair out of your face, kissing your forehead in the process. “Warm.” You talk about the fever you have. The covers that were wrapped tightly around you are shredded from you. “Hey!” You pout, shaking from how cold you feel even though the air is off and it’s not cold. “You’re not going to get better, baby.” He pouts back at you, holding the covers tightly on his chest as you try to fight back for it.
“I'm freezing,” you whine, your eyelids fluttering shut as his palm touches your face.
“You’re burning, baby,” he lets you know while sighing.
You had gotten sick yesterday, which had started with a sore throat. You had thought when you would have woken up today it would’ve been gone; spoiler: it got worse.
Jungkook makes his way to his kitchen, opening up the gray cabinet in front of him. He pulls out the tray filled with medicine his mom gave him whenever he moved out around four years ago. He pops open the pill container, taking two small white round pills out before grabbing a water bottle and making his way to you, who’s curled up on his couch.
Jungkook feels like shit whenever he can’t do anything to make you feel better. It didn’t matter what it was; he would do anything in his power to make you feel better. Seeing you sick, your face red from how hot you are, your eyes closed, and curled up from how cold you felt had him thinking that if he could take away your sickness and be sick instead, Jungkook would choose that option in an instant.
He hands you the pills and the water bottle and watches you take them one by one. He remembers when you gawked at him when he took 4 pills at once and learned that you have a fear of the pill going down the wrong tube.
He also remembers that you prefer pills and injections instead of just medicine syrup. Which baffled him, to say the least; how could someone prefer an injection instead of just strawberry-flavored syrup? He laughed at you, which you just shrugged because it was the truth; you preferred to get poked by a needle than just drinking something.
“That’s actually crazy.” Jungkook throws his head backwards as a laugh rips out of his chest. “It’s nasty. I don’t care what flavor it is. I would literally throw it up.” You scrunch your nose, remembering the taste of the medicines your parents literally shoved down your throat so you could get better.
“Don’t get me started on how anything medicine strawberry flavored gives me PTSD till this day.” You shiver from the thought, which has your boyfriend laughing at you.
“I can’t breathe,” you say, your voice scratchy from your sore throat as you breathe from your mouth. “I should’ve enjoyed breathing when I could,” you joke, watching your boyfriend's eyes twinkle. They had a small glimmer to them, making you wonder how that could possibly happen and why you haven't seen it before with anyone else.
Jungkook had no clue how he ended up here… with a girl he met in a chemistry class that accidentally dropped sulfuric acid all over the floor alongside the beaker smashing into tiny pieces. He watched how your eyes widened as a small piece of your hair dropped beautifully in front of your face out of the low ponytail. You had tied it with a blue latex glove as a hair tie since you didn’t have one after no one in class had one to let you borrow.
That was two years ago; now here he was taking care of you as you struggled to breathe from your congested nose.
“Can I get my blanket back?” You pout at him, which he only shook his head with a chuckle.
….
“Get whatever you want,” Jungkook gave your ass a little tap as you entered the makeup store, your eyes widening from excitement. “Don’t say stuff like that,” you give him a look, which has him tilting your face up with his hand.
“Why, baby?” He chuckles, pecking your pouted lips.
“Because it makes me feel things, duh,” you whisper into his lips. He smiles into your mouth. His lip piercing sends cold shocks through your body that has you playfully shoving him away, remembering where you guys are.
“Get whatever you want, and then we can go to the bookstore,” Jungkook picks up the black and white striped little Sephora bag before pointing in front of you to walk.
You giggled as you started looking for the things that have been sitting in your phone cart for a while now. Jungkook follows behind you, stopping whenever you stop to look at the shelves for something before you drop the product in the basket in your boyfriend's hand.
“That’s really cute,” Jungkook mentions the lipstick tester you have in your hand. “You should get it,” he says, tilting his head at you, watching you open the lid being met with a reddish-dark color.
“Don’t you think it’s too dark?” You look up at your smiling boyfriend.
“What?” You giggle as you stare back at him. “You look beautiful,” he says casually, reaching for your beanie and pulling it down a bit more, fixing it. “You literally want me to die right now,” you joke. “Baby!” Jungkook laughs at the tone of voice you used.
“You can’t keep saying things like that without expecting me to literally melt away,” you lean your body onto him while he wraps his strong hands around your much smaller frame as you look up to him.
“I just say whatever is in my mind at the moment, princess,” he explains, giving your waist a small squeeze, making you squirm as the feeling made you ticklish. “Ah!” You laugh as his fingers dig into your rib cage, tickling you.
You push him away as he tries to continue to tickle your tummy. “Stop!” You laugh, trying to get away as far as you can from him.
Jungkook stops when he sees two girls around your guy's age pass beside you both with judging eyes. “Someone’s mad...” Jungkook whispers into your head as you just shake your head with a laugh.
“Let’s leave, I got everything,” you giggle, intertwining your fingers with him, making your way to the line.
When you guys finally get to the line, you are met with a pretty blonde girl, her dimples carved into her skin when she smiles up at you both. “Hi, is that all?” The girl said, you take notice of her name tag.
“Yes, that's all, thank you,” you smile back. “Find everything you wanted?” Genesis asks, as she starts scanning the products. “Yeah, thanks,” you say, playing with the strings of your hoodie as you see the price rise with each scan.
“Card or cash?” Genesis says, as she points to the credit card reader.
“Card,” Jungkook says before you could reply. He pulls out his black card from the back of the phone case, before scanning it through the white card reader without looking at the price. The machine makes a small sound, “here you go, have a wonderful day!” The girl says ripping the receipt before putting it into the white and black bag, handing it to you.
“Thank you, baby,” you say as you walk out the door of the store, Jungkook smiles at you before shrugging. “The least I could do, princess,” he gives your hand three small squeezes, which feels like he’s squeezing your heart as well. “It was expensive as fuck,” you pout at him. “How much?” He asks, “a thousand.” You cringe, scrunching your nose up at realizing the astonishing price. “That’s it?” Jungkook raises an eyebrow before reaching to the passenger side of his car.
“What! You’re crazy,” you say, giving him a slight swat. You watch as the side of his lips quirk up, making you mirror his actions.
“I love you,” you pout, as he leans into his car. “And I love you so much more,” he says, pulling you into him from your waist.
You tipped toe to reach for his lips, his lips mold with yours perfectly as you both were pieces of a puzzle. “How do you want the kiss?” He asks, giving your waist a squeeze. “What is this, a drive-thru? I get to ask what type of kiss I want,” you giggle, letting your forehead drop onto his chest which rumbles with a laugh.
“You get to ask whatever you want from me,” Jungkook rubs your back softly on top of your thick hoodie. “Oh shit,” your eyes widened as you saw the small print of your makeup on his black shirt when you raised your head upwards. “What?” He looks down to his shirt where you’re rubbing your fingers on the dirty print.
“I just ruined your shirt, baby, ahh!” You freak, which has Jungkook laughing while trying to reassure you that it’s fine and he’ll just wash it when he gets home.
As much as you guys had moments like this, you guys had your disagreements. They weren’t as bad where they ended in screaming matches or end up not talking for days, you guys usually make up the same day before going to bed. Jungkook loathed going to bed whenever you two fought; he felt compelled to make things right before even considering sleep.
“Why are you making me feel bad?” You say, your voice cracking, which echoes the fractures in Jungkook's heart. “I’m not, baby. It’s just... I can’t do anything about it,” Jungkook tries to reason with you.
“She was literally all over you, and you didn’t stop it,” you feel your eyes start to water before staring down at your converse.
“She’s my mom's best friend's daughter; I can’t just tell her to fuck off, y/n. I backed off. I can’t control what she does,” Jungkook raises his voice, a tear falling down your cheek as he addresses you by your first name, a departure from his usual endearments, which feels like a knife to your chest.
“Okay, then,” you nod, tears starting to cascade down, smudging your makeup in the process.
Jungkook's throat tightens; he feels like he can't breathe, feeling like shit. He watches you wipe your tears, small sniffles escaping your mouth. “I’m going to go,” you sniffle, turning your back to him and reaching for your bag.
“No, don't leave, let’s talk this out,” Jungkook implores, turning you around to face him. He reaches for your cheeks, wiping away the tears that continue to fall down your puffy cheeks. “You’re hurting me,” you say, with a sniffle.
“I know. I’m fucking sorry, baby,” he feels his heart racing, wanting to die for making you feel bad for caring about him.
“Why didn’t you push her away or say something? You made me look fucking stupid, Jungkook,” you cry, recalling the pang of feeling as Kailey flirted with him in front of his family, and he did nothing to stop it, leaving you feeling small and insignificant.
“I’m so sorry, baby,” he kisses away your tears, trying to soothe the ache in your heart. “I promise I’ll shove her off whenever I see her, and if I have the chance to avoid her, I will,” he whispers into your cheek with each kiss he leaves on your face.
“Promise?” You whisper, finally meeting his worried eyes.
“Promise, baby,” he whispers back, holding eye contact with your red, puffy eyes.
“I hate making you cry; please forgive me,” Jungkook pulls you into him, hugging you tightly as if afraid you'll slip away. “I forgive you, just don’t do it ever again,” you sniffle into his chest, feeling the throb in your heart melt away.
“I love you,” he says, swaying you both in the middle of his living room.
“I love you,” you sniffle.
….
"But the Maze Runner is so good," you literally whine at your boyfriend, who is in the middle of changing his shirt.
"Yeah, but not as good as Spiderman," he says, poking his head out the shirt hole with a grin.
"Okay, true, but the Maze Runner is just as good; you need to read the book to understand," you mumble, trying to separate a piece of hair from your mouth as you curl another strand with your wand.
"You just have a huge crush on Dylan O’Brian, let’s be honest," your boyfriend chuckles, sending you a look through the mirror, to which you just roll your eyes back at him, acknowledging a) that he was right. b) he was literally right.
“Says the boy who had a crush on Fluttershy when we watched My Little Pony,” you say, giving him a 'don’t try me' look. His jaw falls before giving your hair a tiny soft pull.
"You said you wouldn’t bring it up," he laughs before shaking his head with a chuckle. "Well..." you just shrug.
“Fluttershy reminds me of you,” Jungkook stands behind you, his fingers playing with your freshly curled hair. “Until you act like a brat,” he tugs on your hair, making your head snap backwards, where he leaves a big fat smooch on your lips.
“Okay, princess, let’s go,” he says before unplugging the curling wand wire, grabbing your bag and coat, before holding your hand and leading you outside.

de-influencing you
from someone who gets overwhelmed any time she opens a social media application.
expensive cosmetics. keep it simple and stick to skincare, makeup and hair products you know and trust. i've tried it all from salon shampoos and high-end concealers to ridiculously priced face oils and praised nail polishes, only to realise my favourites are the affordable drugstore products i can easily repurchase. it's the ingredients that matter, not the prestige or popularity of a brand or the amount of products in your routine.
new clothes. of course you can and should replace your holey socks and the jeans you've grown out of, but i'm certain most of us have more clothes than we need. what if we tried to use up (and, when possible, mend) our existing pieces instead of getting new trousers and sneakers just because there's now a trendier option out there?
dietary supplements. unless you have a deficiency and have been told by a healthcare professional to take a supplement, you probably don't need one. with a healthy, varied diet, you can skip all those green powders, probiotics and multivitamins, that weirdly enough have become part of some internet aesthetics. if, however, you do need to supplement (as i need to with iron), make sure you know what is in the product you're buying and how it works best — iron, for example, should be taken on an empty stomach and with vitamin c.
internet aesthetics. your style, your whole lifestyle, doesn't need to fit an "aesthetic". it's tiresome to try and classify your tastes and attempt to stuff them into the narrow confines of these artificial ideals. do things you enjoy, decorate and dress according to what appeals to your eye and forget about the rest.
regular beauty treatments. if your skin is healthy, a normal at-home skincare routine should be enough to make sure your face is glowing. a (fake) tan, hair removal and manicured nails aren't and shouldn't be necessities either, but if your beauty routines are important to you, just do the things at home and save your resources for more valuable pursuits than the ever-expanding requirements of modern womanhood.
cosmetic injections or surgeries. i've always been of the opinion that we should all be allowed to do as we please with our bodies, without shame or judgement from others. however, the more i learn about the risks of cosmetics procedures and the rates of patients' dissatisfaction with their results, the more negatively i've started to view it all. with more and more people walking around with filler, botox and surgically enchanced or erased features, i worry about our ability to accept ourselves as we are. i worry about the class divide these procedures are creating (who can afford it at all? who can afford a good result?) and i worry about people spending massive amounts of money and time on what are essentially unnecessary health risks. so i say: don't do it.
anything designer. as we all know, price and quality don't always go hand in hand. while i'm all for choosing great quality lasting products, popular designer brands might not necessarily be the way to go. people haven't ditched designer goods just because the go-to style is now "old money"; they've just moved from gucci to céline. i personally don't think any designer brand is really worth it, but wherever you buy, at least pay attention to materials and construction, and stay away from counterfeit goods.
trying to look "expensive". while i have always had a more classic style and was raised never to show logos ("you're not a free advertisement, dear"), i find the "looking expensive" thing such a strange trend, one that returns whenever times are financially unstable. even though i wholeheartedly approve of buying timeless quality pieces (if that is a style you actually enjoy), i don't think anyone should do so in order to look wealthy. nobody will think you're the trust fund offspring of a centuries-old family if you aren't, and most of all, nobody really cares whether you are one or not. the thing is, you really cannot tell whether someone is wealthy based on their looks, so why spend time and money trying to look the part?
clothes that don't fit your lifestyle. it's difficult to resist cute athleisure, but as someone who only wears workout clothes to actually exercise three times a week, i know i only need two or three sets. buy pieces that fit your everyday life, not the life you wish you had. no amount of cocktail dresses will make your life a flurry of parties, if these events are already few and far between.
most stationery products. i love stationery as much as the next person: i love a good notebook, beautiful pens and all the related little knick-knacks, but frankly, i only use one mechanical pencil, a specific type of black gel pens, and three notebooks at a time. no matter how cute some highlighters, letter papers or pastel page markers may be, i have zero reason to buy them.
trending books. i know this might be a controversial one, but buying piles of books on the recommendation of social media influencers isn't a smart use of space and money. just last year i got myself half a dozen popular titles from a cute bookshop, but ended up regretting the purchases because i only liked one of them. borrow the trendy new books from your local public library, and if you really want to collect books, only buy ones that you really love.

Wait, Zhao Yunlan's gun is actually a...?!
(I've never claimed production meta for @guardianbingo before, but after the amount of time and research I put in on this, I feel like I've earned the "Zhao Yunlan's Gun or Whip" square, haha)
SO. GUYS.
Maybe this is something fandom as a whole figured out back in 2018, but I, who didn't hear of Guardian until 2020, did not realize until now and I need to share the knowledge because when I finally noticed, I made an unholy sound.
I've tracked down where Zhao Yunlan's gun came from -- or at least, what it most likely started as. Not the in-universe dark-energy-maybe-uses-bullets-maybe-doesn't-device-that's-best-not-thought-about-too-long, but rather the actual fake-steampunk-revolver-that-is-best-not-looked-at-too-long-because-it's-awful prop.
Y'know, this disaster:
Tumblr media
I was actually working on a different Guardian Bingo fill and needed to look something up for continuity, so I'd flipped through a couple of episodes at super high speed trying to find a scene. As luck would have it, one of my skips forward happened to land on the scene I screencapped above, when ZYL confronts Zhang Shi.
Normally we don't get this clear (or this stationary) a shot of the godawful gun prop. I'd assumed all along they had just taken a plastic gun, glued some extra bits and bobs on it to make it look fancy, and hit it with some dry brushing (fun fact: you can watch the paint flake throughout the series; check out the top of the barrel and the side of the cylinder in the above screenshot!) to make it look #steampunk like the abandoned aesthetic of 25% of the show (as I've said before, I have theories about what happened in preproduction, but that's another post). This sort of thing is exactly what I've done for cheap cosplay weapons or background props for film work that aren't going to be seen at HD detail range.
Anyway, since the detail showed up better here than in other shots, I paused the video to look at the random screws and hex bolts (why??) they'd glued on it, since I recalled that I had the aforementioned gun/whip bingo square to fill.
That's when I noticed a detail that had eluded me before: An inverted V shape at the bottom of the grip.
Tumblr media
Only looking more closely, that's not an inverted V. It's a symbol that I've seen a whole series of variations of over the past 15+ years... every time there's a new installment of the Assassin's Creed video game series:
Tumblr media
So I started hunting. The principal weapons in each game turned up no matches, but eventually I found a gun that looks almost exactly like ZYL's:
Tumblr media
It's not a perfect replica, but the details are certainly all there: The stylized logo; the leaves and swirls on the grip; the feathers up the back; even the Victorian scrollwork beneath the barrel.
Tumblr media
Now, what's really interesting is that this gun isn't actually from the AC game series. It's part of an elaborate fan project by artist David Paget that started as a class assignment back in 2014. Even though it gathered a bit of steam in the AC fandom and generated a couple of forum role-play groups, OCs and the like, nothing about this artwork was ever connected to a real Assassin's Creed title. So why would there be a physical version of a gun that was only someone's fanart?
This is where the smoking gun (*rimshot*) goes missing, because I can't prove any of this, and it's been long enough that digging through the archives of the internet to find answers is going to take way more time than I can afford to spend on a project I'm not getting paid for. But there are two likely possibilities:
Scenario A: Some employee in a toy factory somewhere in China got told, "This Assassin's Creed franchise is really big, so we need to be producing replicas from those games to sell. Work up some designs." So the employee Googles "assassin's creed gun," finds David Paget's very professional-looking art, and whips up a replica to mass-injection-mold without realizing it's not actually from a game. Later, someone on the cash-strapped Guardian production team needs a gun to mod, and finds a cheap toy revolver on clearance after several years of sitting in storage because there was little demand for a replica of a gun that was never in a game. They buy several, glue hex bolts on the cylinder for reasons unknown, and poof! Instant pseudo-steampunk!
Scenario B: Other fans were involved in the design. Someone did build a 3D model of David Paget's design that's still available on Sketchfab (screenshot below), and it's not unreasonable to assume that other fans could have thought it looked cool and built 3D printable models. Later, someone on the cash-strapped Guardian production team needs a gun to mod, and acquires the 3D print file of one of those models from the interwebs. They mod the file a bit, print some, glue hex bolts on the cylinder for reasons unknown, and poof! Instant pseudo-steampunk!
Tumblr media
Personally, I find Scenario A far more likely than Scenario B, for two reasons: First, the hero prop looks more injection molded than 3D printed, especially given the technical state of 3D printing back in 2017-8. And second... Budget-challenged dramas do have a history of picking up bulk video game replicas and using them as cheap props. I made a post back in 2019 about the WoW Horde shields we spotted in a different drama...
Anyway, no firm answers about the source of the hero prop -- the world may never know! -- but we have now confirmed that in some alternate universe (possibly one of the first eighty?), Zhao Yunlan and/or Zhao Xinci is an Assassin.
Wait, wait, wait... *recalls mechanics of how the whole Assassin's Creed frame story is supposed to work* Uh... so... who wants to write a genetic memory explanation for the whole Kunlun -> [lots of lifetimes] -> Zhao Yunlan thing?
.
(I did actually check the catalogue of a friend of mine who makes replicas of props from various media franchises to see if he'd done a commission of the David Paget design, since a surprising number of his custom pieces actually do end up on film and television, but while he has a gorgeous replica of a revolver that actually appears in an AC game, it appears he has not done the Zhao Yunlan gun. I didn't really think it likely, since he's in the U.S., but you never know.)

Do you have any tips for how you developed your style? I want it to be like yours :3
OH my style has been developed over the course of many years through many different inspirations. I dont really have a name for it either per your other ask its more just like a hodge podge of all my favorite things. I can list some of my prominent inspirations for you to look up as well as list some of the things I focus on when arting!
For inspiration I'd have to go back to elementary school and say that my first creative inspo was probably the Nightmare before Christmas. I think that really encouraged a love of weird and whacky shapes in character design. Anime was obviously also a huge inspo and I love a lot of retro anime from the 80s/90s. Ranma, Moomins, Add in some PS1-PS2 era platformer mascots like sonic, spyro, crash, and klonoa. If we're talking video games too i gotta bring up pokemon cause thats been my obsession since the games first came out. From highschool through college I really studied a lot of art from classic disney and I'd say one of my favorite book series is "They drew as they pleased' I think studying that gave me a love for gesture drawing and acting. I think there was the show Wakfu which had a lot of art from Gobi and Bill Otomo and I loved how they pushed shapes in their character design. Takashi Nakamaru is a big inspo for me in how he stylizes and animates. He has such a level of volume and weight that what he animates feels so real but his style feels so cartoony and whimsical. Yuasa Masaaki headed one of my favorite anime, Kaiba. Which had a very stylized toony look but held a lot of darker heart wrenching themes. I really love cute/fun aesthetics mixed with heavier topics. Yoh Yoshinari is another major artist I reference a lot. Hes a major hitter at Trigger and I love the way he has blended both western and anime styles together. Also his extreme poses are so fun. I particularly love his book of sketches he did of Osamu Tezuka characters. Very toony but animated stuff. There is probably a lot more but I would say thats a erally good starting place to know where Im coming from. As for how I approach drawing. I will echo this as long as I live but gesture drawing gesture drawing gesture drawing. I took several life drawing classes in college and my favorite thing was to do short timed drawings of people and animals. There are so many videos for free on youtube about the Line of Action, about how to start gesture drawing as well as so many resources to find models/reference to draw from. Do 5 second gesture drawings where you can only get like three lines on the page, that helps you to focus most on the feeling and energy of a pose. Then 30 sec, 1 min, etc See how people do life drawing too. I really like Heinrich Kley and he was a huge inspo for many of the classic disney artists. You keep practicing that and it'll start to show up in your more stylized work. When you learn how to twist and bend shapes it starts to show in your personal art. For my personal art I tend to have a lot of mood boards, pinterest boards with artists I like and work that inspires me. I sometimes just spend 15min-30min looking at my favorite art, injecting the things I like about them into my brain and getting hyped to draw! Draw all sorts of styles, all sorts of things! Experiment with a variety of styles and eventually you'll start to create your own signature look. And dont be afraid to make a bad drawing!! I made so many! I drew on notes in class, on napkins, on post it notes, you name it. Just doodle and sketch bad things then try to figure out how to fix them through reference and learning. But remember to just stop and think about what you want! For example, what do you like about my art? is it the posing the shapes, the energy? Think about those things. Take a moment to ask yourself questions like 'what am I going for?" "why?" I think having a motivation, a drive, or something similar to that helps you want to draw and not get caught up with social media and trying to compete with your peers. Overall enjoy the journey! You're your own unique person and all your own personal experiences can feed into your work in a way others may not! And good luck with drawing, I hope it stays fun for you!!

This is just a nice little surprise for @heartvexer. Hi darling, here's some AU for you. ❤️
Tumblr media
Behold, one of the most cursed crackships of all time: our lovely Sukuna and his gremlin, Toge.
In this AU, Sukuna is Yuuji's twin; they're 21 and both got a sport scholarship— Sukuna for (American) football, Yuuji for basketball.
Toge is 22 and is majoring in zoology— He also has three minors, in music theory, American Sign Language (ASL) and Japanese Sign Language (JSL). He only chose JSL because he wanted that extra credit, otherwise he's fluent and isn't learning anything from his classes— Not that it's the professor's fault.
Sukuna is majoring in history and minoring in psychology and philosophy. Compared to Toge, who considers his minors as backup plans, Sukuna only has them as hobbies. Same for football, he's doing it because it's fun for now, not because he wants to become the best quarterback ever— Although he's the best in his team.
No one expected Sukuna and Toge to be dating. Not even them. It all started as a one-night stand at a party, then one month later Yuuji is crying to Megumi and Nobara about these two making out on his bed (Toge didn't know it was his. Sukuna obviously did).
They are surprisingly the healthiest couple on campus right now.
They've been dating for almost two years now. They still make out on Yuuji's bed whenever Sukuna's feeling like being an ass.
Sukuna is only nice to Toge. Which is cute, funny, and lowkey terrifying, 'cause what do you mean it's the 5'5" gremlin getting the 6'9" monster to behave?
Toge proudly wears lots of feminine, girly clothes, leaning on the kawaii fashion aesthetic. That, or he's going full punk. No in-between.
Yes, Sukuna calls him 'baby girl' as a joke. Yes, it's also an official nickname now.
Just to be clear, Toge is genderfluid and mostly uses he/him and they/them but also really likes feminine terms. He rarely uses she/her, though.
Sukuna almost snapped at a teammate who was misgendering Toge ("That's your girlfriend, Sukuna?" "Yup." "She's cute!" "He is, yes." The teammate messed up at least twice more before Toge had to calm Sukuna down).
Don't worry, now everyone gets it.
Sukuna and Toge, lovingly and mockingly nicknamed "Sukimaki" (because it sounds like "Sushimaki", AKA Toge's username on social medias), both have lots of tattoos and piercings. More on them in another post, probably. I have lots of thoughts.
Sukuna has been learning JSL, quite fast too, so he could speak with Toge whenever the latter goes non-verbal.
Toge has daddy issues, which, according to Sukuna, makes him great in bed.
Those two are insatiable, someone needs to inject some tranquilizer in their veins so they stop fucking like two rabbits in heat.
Toge clawed Sukuna's back so hard once that Sukuna got teased in the showers after training. Now everyone in the team whistles and howls whenever Toge comes watch Sukuna train.
Sukuna reaches Toge's chest when he's sitting down, and fully takes advantage of that to hide his face against Toge's breasts.
Toge has a small chest, very cute, and likes to show it off with corsets. Sukuna is smug about how cute he looks, but also has that ominous look if someone stares for too long. Toge's aware of it, but he likes pretending he's clueless— And Sukuna knows about it.
Toge is a pro at makeup, and loves going all out whenever there's a match— Especially for the football team. Since they've been dating for two years now, Sukuna can easily guess which makeup took time to do or not, and what's an easy fix or not.
When he didn't know better, he once accidentally smudged some of Toge's eye makeup while roughhousing a bit; Toge ended up crying and he got called an ass by pretty much everyone, "because he spent 5 hours getting ready for you". He's now very careful with Toge's makeup— Unless Toge teases him about it.
They both have to remind each other to "be nice" whenever someone annoying talks. It's surprisingly harder to get Toge to act nice.
Sukuna's a picky eater, so Toge cooks for him and makes him bento lunchboxes.
One day, Sukuna forgot his lunchbox and Toge brought it to him while he was training; everyone howled at them. All Sukuna did was sit down, bring Toge closer with an arm around his waist, then snap: 'Too single for your girlfriend to bring you food, losers?!' Everyone went silent.
Toge pretended to ignore everything by petting Sukuna's hair.
Sukuna originally wanted a minor in linguistics, but his high school teacher was a bit too enthusiastic about it. It made him give up that idea, but Toge buys him linguistic books from time to time; Sukuna blabbers about it after sex.
Toge only tells Sukuna he loves him through sign language. JSL has its own version of "I love you", but also uses the ASL version of it (🤟🏼). When Toge showed him, Sukuna forgot his braincells and asked 'Are you a metalhead? Or Spiderman?'
Toge chuckled awkwardly and explained the meaning to him. Sukuna never felt dumber— Is that what being Yuuji feels like?
Toge told him to forget about it and Sukuna simply redid the sign. They do it from time to time now, always hidden though— It's a private thing.

Do you have any recommendations of books on queer theory and art you've been vibing with lately or that you've found really foundational? I love seeing the stuff you reblog and I would love to take a look at any texts/pieces/collections you've found really formative and impactful. Thank you in advance!
omg thank you!! Sorry it took me so long to reply, I loved this question and really wanted to do it right lol. My tastes and views are like a hodge podge of things I’ve read and seen, a paper here, and artist’s statement there, so it’s hard to gather lmao. But here’s some off the top of my head (might be long, sorry!):
Honestly the blog @997 has done more to shape and expand my ideas on art and aesthetics than any other, been following for years and has a special place in my heart
For queer theory:
The Xenofeminist Manifesto: A Politics for Alienation had a major impact in opening me up to ideas of abstraction, cunning, and scale in politics. It’s part of a broader left accelerationist/postcapitalist movement that I’m still one of those annoying people who likes what it has/had to say lol. This one is great, with absolute banger lines like “let a thousand sexes bloom!” and “if nature is unjust, change nature!”
Deadly and Slick: Sexual Modernity and the Making of Race is a more recent read, and does an amazing job talking about how the regulation of sexuality is intimately tied with the creation of race and its hierarchies, using colonial and postcolonial India and the UK as its focus.
The Penetrated Male by Jonathan Kemp is an amazing book on the anus(a subject I’m kinda obsessed with), specifically examining the anus and penetration beyond discourses on being penetrated as feminine and anal eroticism as pathology. If you’re into Wilde, Lacan, and Baudelaire, this is the book for you for anal examinations on them.
The Straight Mind by Monique Wittig is an injection of dialectics into examinations of sexuality, feminism, and power. Her rendering of sex as socially constructed and of lesbianism presents radical feminist politics without the biological essentialism by interpreting the idea that the proletariat is a class that advocates for its own abolition through a feminist and lesbian lens.
As for art:
More Brilliant Than the Sun: Adventures in Sonic Fiction is both written beautifully in that classic cyberpunk neologism style and offers a great critique on “authenticity” and “realism” as necessary components of good music through an examination of a lot of afrofuturist artists and advocates for alienation and abstraction as a way of breaking from dull “authenticity”
Who’s Afraid of Contemporary Art? by Jessica Cerasi and Kyung An is a good introduction to contemporary art for someone intimidated/unsure how they feel about it. I read it in one sitting when my car was stuck in the mechanics for three hours and I couldn’t leave haha
Maya Lin: Systematic Landscapes by Maya Lin and Richard Andrews. Maya Lin is mostly known for her memorials but her non-monument sculptural work is even better. Hearing her explain her craft and different interpretations of her work was really exciting.
Vienna Actionism: Art and Upheaval in 1960’s Vienna. I’m a sucker for Actionism, and this was an amazing book on the subject with insightful essays, photos, and descriptions of the performances that were held.
The journal e-flux and the website monoskop have changed my life to, amazing libraries of texts.
This is long but I hope it helps!!

BIOGRAPHY Born and raised in the close-knit town of Stillwater, Nancy Gallagher grew up in a family that cherished traditional values and taught her the importance of integrity and loyalty.
Throughout her youth, Nancy was known as the quiet observer, always present but rarely in the spotlight. She had an uncanny ability to blend into the background, becoming a confidante to those around her. People would unknowingly reveal their deepest secrets while Nancy listened intently, offering solace without needing to speak a word.
In high school, Nancy’s life took an unexpected twist when she found herself entangled in a captivating game of love with the star quarterback. Their courtship was a whirlwind of emotions, with Nancy playing hard to get, relishing in the chase. Against all odds, they defied expectations and tied the knot, creating a life together that seemed destined for happiness.
However, the fairy tale crumbled when Nancy discovered her spouse’s infidelity. Unfazed by embarrassment, she struck a deal, promising to keep the affair a secret if they would leave the family home, allowing Nancy and their children to remain undisturbed. Nancy’s strength and determination to protect her babies prevailing over her shattered heart.
The day of their departure was etched in Nancy’s memory like a haunting spectre. She took her children out for ice cream, attempting to distract them from the turmoil within their home. Returning to an empty house, Nancy was perplexed to find her former spouse’s car still parked in the driveway. Annoyance quickly turned to shock as she discovered their lifeless body in the foyer.
The gut-wrenching scream that escaped Nancy’s lips was a testament to the depths of her anguish. The town was stunned when the police arrived, not to console her, but to arrest her for a crime she had not committed. No matter how she fought, pleaded, and begged, the wheels of justice seemed determined to crush her spirit.
For ten long, agonising years, Nancy languished in prison, her innocence a burden she carried with unwavering resolve. She was a skeleton of her former self, her spirit tested with the harsh realities of confinement. But even in the darkest moments, Nancy clung to the flickering hope of redemption; of seeing her babies again.
Finally, a glimmer of light emerged as new evidence came to light, exposing the truth. Nancy was released, but the scars of the past remained. She emerged from prison with nothing more than a plastic bag containing the clothes she wore on her first day of incarceration.
Now “free”, Nancy faces the daunting challenge of rebuilding her life in a town that still views her as guilty. Her children, once innocent and carefree, had grown up in her absence, and reconnecting with them proves to be both a joyous and painful process.

13: Favorite storyline? 17: A quest(line) you loathe doing? 42: Favorite flashpoint?
Thank you! swtor asks be upon ye
13. Favorite storyline?
I want to inject Imperial Agent directly into my veins. We’re well beyond the lie that I’m fine about Imperial Agent. Any time I think I've become a little bit normal about Imperial Agent, I'm reminded of something and I am, once again, an actual wreck. That 'something' tends to be chapter two related, but Imperial Agent is just... Nothing could possibly compare. It irreversibly affected my experience of all other class stories - and I say that in a completely awestruck and admiring way. It stands on its own, but its the silent, extra drop of nuance and knowledge when you see how it touches so much else in the game in so many ways. It's almost always subtly lurking anywhere you could (and wouldn't) think to look for it.
I think I’m up to four(?) of them lurking around that actually have backstories/justifications, but do not be fooled: the matter of more agents is not if. It is when. And how.
17. A quest(line) you loathe doing?
Planetary arc for Corellia. Either side. I would rather fling myself off the Balmorran elevators than do this planetary questline again. If I even vaguely hear the “take Axial park” initiative one more time, I will combust spontaneously. I will literally do anything but the planetary arc when left to my own devices. I’ve finished off class stories at like level 47 rather than do the Corellian planetary arc. Give me Directive Seven for the last two or three levels if I slack on the planetary quests or, hell, I would even rather do Corellian heroics. And those also suck, btw. Corellia, it’s not personal, I promise, but fuck Corellia daknfsldfsdf.
Some of it may absolutely be that being so close to the end makes me chomp at the bit for that sweet, sweet, epic conclusion to the class story journey, but the Corellian arc, more than anywhere else, felt unnecessarily long, like it baited me several times into thinking we were so close to the end only to pull the rug out from under me and give me an additional twenty objectives and here's three other quests before you even know what an Axial Park IS. We've been talking about it for half of the quests, it's the Thing We Need To Do, but also no, go do this other shit first lmaooo.
(Okay... Maybe I have a particularly strong grudge against Axial Park...)
42. Favorite flashpoint?
Ohhhh, good one! I’m mostly picking from the story mode flashpoints because I’ve very rarely put a paw in the group finder pool.
I’m so sorry to everyone whose Malgus PTSD I’m about to trigger, but picking from aesthetics/surrounds primarily, I really enjoyed the Ruins of Nul and I was excited to spend a little bit more time on Elom. I am enchanted by the trees. I really haven't gone back to it outside of story runs, but it's pretty, the bonus objectives are interesting to go through. Dance Dance Lazer Floor Revolution I could probably do without and be just as happy, but I suppose it all works out when you give me pretty scenery to stare at, lol.

ABOUT
trigger warnings for transphobia // dysphoria // familial neglect // injections
born [REDACTED], he was the only daughter of rebecca and anthony kent, and rebecca was overjoyed to have a little girl to raise into a mirror of her. but luka always knew that he wasn't who his mother wanted him to be, even before he had words for what he was feeling. every time he was forced into a dress, he would throw a fit, causing the family to be late to many a premiere or red carpet event.
as a child, he was in a few of his father's movies as a background or minor character - it was kind of richard's thing, putting his kids in scenes in his films. it was cool, for a while, before it became just another thing he dreaded - being in the movie meant seeing himself looking wrong, and there weren't words to describe how much he hated it.
luka always hated the way that the kents could never go out to dinner, go see a movie, do anything without eyes and cameras on them. he loved new york, don't get him wrong, he still does, but there were days that he wished that they lived anywhere where the paparazzi and rumor mill didn't exist the way it does in the big apple. he's jealous of the people who have never been affected by the severe lack of privacy that he experienced.
as luka grew up, he got access to the internet, and he started finding words for himself. transgender, primarily. the word felt freeing, like he could finally understand why he hated his brothers for the fact that their mother never tried to force them into dresses for premieres, why he hated them for being able to go out and play in the rain and get their clothes all muddy, why they seemed so comfortable in their bodies while luka hated every single second of puberty. he started transitioning socially with peers online when he was sixteen, though he didn't bring it up to his family until he was nearing eighteen, afraid of repercussions.
he was right to fear - as soon as he spoke up, there were a lot of tears shed, primarily from his mother; things about how he'd always be her little girl, and how could he do this to them, and a bunch of other shitty things that he's tried to block out of his memory since then.
that was when he deferred his acceptance to nyu, not sure he wanted to go to college under his deadname, not sure who he wanted to be at all. he knew that there were people talking about him, knew that there were people staring at the back of his head whenever he went out in public, and he hated all of it.
he spent two more years with his family trying to put up with it, but, on his twentieth birthday, he was at his breaking point. he couldn't handle being called [REDACTED] and all of the "she/her"s he got from his mother, couldn't handle the way he looked in the mirror, couldn't handle the way his voice sounded wrong every time he opened his mouth.
luka was on one of his trademark depression walks when he saw a sign on a stoplight pole asking are you searching for roommates? want to live with cool people? must be queer-friendly and like cats and listing a phone number to call. he stared at that sign for way too long, his hand on his phone in his pocket. he dialed the number, made the call, and had agreed to move in by the next week.
packing up all of the few things he loved, luka moved into his current apartment on the lower east side within the week. it was also that week that he found himself a job at a starbucks, and took the last chunk of money out of his old bank account that he would ever use - a down payment on his top surgery, and the first payment for his new testosterone prescription. he took his first shot surrounded by his roommates (and new best friends), and he hasn't looked back since. this life is the one he's chosen, and he may be poor, but he's happy.
GOSSIP
director   anthony   kent’s   middle   child,   who   disowned   his   family   three   years   ago,   is   allegedly   working   at   a   starbucks   on   the   upper   east   side
this is true and luka has no shame about it at all. it pays his portion of the rent & utilities and allows for some additional cash to spend on things he'd like to do, like his pottery classes. they also have gender affirming care covered, so he's planning on working there for the foreseeable future.
CONNECTIONS
roommates — (  luka lives with two queer couples on the lower east side. they have two cats. this is very much a found family relationship; the five of them are ride or die and they have been since they met luka three years prior. they could have known each other for longer, though!. ) // 0/4
friends (present) — (  they've only known luka post-disowning his family and his transition. they're also a support system for him, though not as close as his roommates are. they're the people who get invited over after drag shows, for movie nights, for early morning pancakes and coffee on luka's days off ) //
friends (past) — (  they knew luka before he was luka. they cared about him, but he always seemed a little closed off, more distant than others. it was rare to see him truly smile, let alone laugh. they haven't spoken regularly in three years. ) //
not the kid you once knew — (  actors on his father's films! luka knew them all from his trips to set as he was growing up, and they may have thought they knew him, too, because he put on a happy face, even though he was dying inside. they may not recognize him if they see him on the street now. ) //
family friends — (  friends of his parents' kids. they spent a lot of time as kids together. they haven't heard from him at all in the past three years. ) //

Enhance Your Nose with Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty in London
In the ever-evolving world of cosmetic enhancements, non-surgical rhinoplasty has emerged as a revolutionary solution for those seeking to refine their nasal appearance without the need for invasive surgery. This innovative procedure has become increasingly popular in London, offering a quick, effective, and minimally invasive option for achieving a balanced and aesthetically pleasing nose. If you’re considering enhancing your profile, non-surgical rhinoplasty in London could be the ideal solution. Read on to discover how this procedure works, its benefits, and why you should consider choosing My Pure Aesthetics for your transformation.
What is Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?
Non-surgical rhinoplasty, also known as liquid rhinoplasty, is a procedure that uses injectable dermal fillers to reshape and contour the nose. Unlike traditional rhinoplasty, which involves surgical intervention, this method provides a non-invasive alternative that can be performed in a short time frame with minimal downtime. The procedure primarily uses hyaluronic acid-based fillers, which are known for their safety and effectiveness in adding volume and smoothing out imperfections.
Tumblr media
According to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), the popularity of non-surgical rhinoplasty has surged by 30% over the past three years, reflecting a growing preference for non-invasive cosmetic treatments. This trend underscores the increasing demand for less invasive options that deliver significant results with minimal recovery time.
Benefits of Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty
Minimally Invasive: One of the major advantages of non-surgical rhinoplasty is that it requires no surgical incisions. This reduces the risk of complications and eliminates the need for general anesthesia, making the procedure safer and less intimidating.
Immediate Results: Unlike traditional rhinoplasty, which can require weeks or even months for full results, non-surgical rhinoplasty offers immediate enhancement. Patients can see changes in their nose’s shape and contour right after the procedure, though full results may settle over a few days.
Quick Recovery: With minimal downtime, patients can return to their normal activities almost immediately. Some swelling or bruising may occur, but these effects are typically minor and subside within a few days.
Reversible: If the results are not exactly what you expected, non-surgical rhinoplasty offers the advantage of being reversible. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, allowing for adjustments or complete reversal of the treatment.
Cost-Effective: Generally, non-surgical rhinoplasty is less expensive than traditional surgical rhinoplasty. This makes it an attractive option for individuals seeking cosmetic improvements on a budget.
Why Choose Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty in London?
London is renowned for its world-class aesthetic and cosmetic procedures, and non-surgical rhinoplasty is no exception. The city boasts a plethora of highly skilled practitioners and advanced clinics specializing in non-invasive treatments. Choosing a reputable clinic ensures that you receive the highest standard of care and results.
My Pure Aesthetics is a leading provider of non-surgical rhinoplasty in London, offering exceptional expertise and personalized treatment plans. Their team of skilled professionals uses the latest techniques and high-quality products to deliver outstanding results tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
How Does the Procedure Work?
The non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure begins with a consultation where the practitioner assesses your nasal structure and discusses your desired outcomes. During the procedure, a local anesthetic is applied to minimize discomfort. The dermal filler is then injected into specific areas of the nose to achieve the desired shape and contour. The entire process typically takes around 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the complexity of the treatment.
Post-procedure care involves avoiding strenuous activities and minimizing direct pressure on the treated area. Most patients can resume their daily activities immediately, though some may experience mild swelling or bruising.
Real Results and Patient Satisfaction
A study published in the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery found that over 80% of patients who underwent non-surgical rhinoplasty were satisfied with their results. The high rate of satisfaction is attributed to the procedure’s ability to enhance nasal contours effectively with minimal risks.
One patient, Emily from London, shared her experience: “I was hesitant at first, but non-surgical rhinoplasty was a game-changer for me. The results were immediate, and the recovery was so quick that I was back to my routine within a few days. I’m thrilled with the outcome and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a nose enhancement.”

The Rise of Plastic Surgery in Qatar: Trends and Insights
In recent years, plastic surgery has seen a significant rise in popularity across the globe, and Qatar is no exception. The small but affluent nation is becoming a hotspot for advanced cosmetic procedures, with an increasing number of people opting for both surgical and non-surgical enhancements. The trend is driven by a mix of cultural factors, increasing awareness, and the availability of world-class medical facilities. This blog explores the reasons behind the rise of plastic surgery in Qatar, the most sought-after procedures, and what the future holds for this rapidly growing industry.
The Growing Popularity of Plastic Surgery in Qatar
Plastic surgery in Qatar has moved from being a taboo subject to a widely accepted practice. The shift in perception is partly due to the influence of social media, where images of flawless beauty set high aesthetic standards. People, especially the younger generation, are increasingly turning to cosmetic procedures to achieve their desired look.
The economic prosperity of Qatar has also contributed to the rise in plastic surgery. With a high standard of living, many residents have disposable income to spend on luxury services, including cosmetic enhancements. Additionally, the influx of highly skilled surgeons and state-of-the-art clinics in Qatar has made it easier for residents to access top-tier plastic surgery services without having to travel abroad.
Popular Plastic Surgery Procedures in Qatar
As the demand for cosmetic procedures grows, certain surgeries have emerged as particularly popular in Qatar. Some of the most sought-after procedures include:
Rhinoplasty: Nose reshaping, or rhinoplasty, is one of the most common cosmetic surgeries in Qatar. This procedure is popular among both men and women who wish to improve the shape, size, or symmetry of their nose.
Liposuction: With the emphasis on maintaining a slim and toned physique, liposuction has become a go-to procedure for those looking to remove stubborn fat from specific areas of the body.
Breast Augmentation: Breast enhancement procedures are increasingly popular among women in Qatar who wish to achieve a fuller, more balanced figure.
Facelifts and Botox: As people seek to maintain a youthful appearance, facelifts and Botox injections are on the rise. These procedures help reduce the signs of aging, such as wrinkles and sagging skin, providing a rejuvenated look.
Non-Surgical Treatments: Non-invasive procedures like dermal fillers, laser treatments, and chemical peels are also gaining popularity due to their minimal recovery time and immediate results.
Cultural Influences and Changing Perceptions
In Qatar, cultural norms have traditionally valued natural beauty, but perceptions are shifting as global beauty standards influence local tastes. Social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat play a significant role in shaping these trends, with influencers and celebrities often showcasing their cosmetic enhancements. This exposure has made plastic surgery more socially acceptable and even desirable among the younger population.
Moreover, there is an increasing understanding that plastic surgery is not just about vanity but can also improve one's quality of life. For instance, procedures like rhinoplasty can correct breathing problems, while weight-loss surgeries like liposuction can lead to healthier lifestyles. This broader view of plastic surgery is helping to destigmatize it and encourage more people to explore their options.
The Future of Plastic Surgery in Qatar
The future of plastic surgery in Qatar looks promising as the industry continues to grow. Advances in medical technology and techniques are making procedures safer, more effective, and less invasive. This progress is likely to attract more people to consider plastic surgery as a viable option for achieving their aesthetic goals.
Additionally, the Qatari government's investment in healthcare is expected to further boost the plastic surgery industry. With an emphasis on providing world-class medical services, Qatar is poised to become a leading destination for cosmetic procedures in the Middle East.
The rise of plastic surgery in Qatar is a reflection of changing cultural attitudes, economic prosperity, and the influence of global beauty standards. As the industry continues to evolve, more people are turning to cosmetic procedures to enhance their appearance and boost their confidence. Whether it's through surgical or non-surgical means, the growing demand for plastic surgery in Qatar shows no signs of slowing down. As the nation continues to embrace these trends, it is clear that plastic surgery will remain an integral part of Qatar's healthcare landscape for years to come.
