Note
Dreamt of buying a hat and there was a snapback with a sideview of a stylized oot Ganondof with his head tilted back like he's about to drink the heavens, and it had "Drink of the Gerudo" written on it in fake Gerudo script that looked English enough to read. At first I was confused, but then someone released a Gerudo themed amber alcohol and the ad had Ganondorf robbing a delivery of the alcohol by cracking open the hround beneath it and standing in that weird pose on the hat, staring up at the delivery and grinning wide as alcohol rained down for him to drink.
What a weird hat.

Chubtober Day 21!
So…we are going off script today 😅 I don’t have any free writing time today, but I do have a list of what I think the college party boy body types and habits each member in an OT7 relationship would have because the thought of beer bellies hasn’t left my head since I saw @breadcheekstete post about it.
—-
Namjoon
Absolute potbelly that has developed more and more each semester
Can put beers away all night and then will eat an entire delivery pizza himself at 3 am before passing out
Will keep drinking to see JK get drunker
Cries about how cute his bfs are
President of a service/academic frat that still knows how to throw a good party
Stopped wearing jeans to parties because he got tired of needing to unbutton them
Jin
Carb loads before every party or night out
Loves a sugary cocktail or wine
Very soft and jiggly lower belly because the weight always settles on him
Designated orderer of drunk takeout
Always says he is only getting pizza and ends up ordering fried chicken for the maknaes
Likes to stay tucked up on a couch in the corner with Yoongi and steal his candy
Yoongi
Will drink anything to get drunk
Popping candy in his mouth all night since his bfs don’t let him chain smoke anymore
Demands a greasy hangover breakfast every time and is a regular at the nearby diner
Getting chubbier as he continues to kick his smoking habit from the sugar more than the alcohol
Acts annoyed that Jin and Jimin steal his candy, but he actually loves it
Is actually annoyed when Jin tries to sneak his hands under Yoongi’s hoodie all night
Hobi
Tipsy after half a glass of anything
Houses chips and dip all night while sipping the same beer to make it look like he’s drinking
Always the sober, responsible partner
Just a bit pudgy from his snacking because his high metabolism keeps the rest in check
Can’t walk past Namjoon without patting his belly or smacking his ass
Loves when the maknaes want to dance
Jimin
Will have a drink of choice every party based on his mood, but will gladly do shots
Has a cute, little soft tummy that he will complain about even though his bfs love it
Always wants to dance on tables until Hobi lures him away with promises of sharing kisses and candy with Yoongi
Never has a hangover and teases his bfs for theirs while stealing bites of their breakfast
Absolute dump truck of an ass because that’s where most of his weight gain goes, but he will also do squats even when he’s drunk
Notoriously “forgets” his coat so he can steal Namjoon or Jungkook’s hoodies
Taehyung
Closest to sober aside from Hobi, but will drink more than Hobi simply from Jimin’s coercion and bartending skills
Entered college a little chubby and has just continued putting on weight
Demands noodles the second he gets tipsy
Makes a lot of his own clothes for parties because he “will not sacrifice fashion just because he’s fat”
Will sit in any open bf lap he finds unapologetically even though he’s bigger than most of them
Uses his bfs drinking and eating habits as an excuse to eat himself
Jungkook
Keeps up with Namjoon because it means he can spend the night by his side but he also genuinely loves beer
Lifts weights so he has very toned arms and legs but a small yet round and growing beer belly that he can’t keep off no matter how much he hits the gym
Loves when Hobi pulls him on the dance floor
Always the one begging Jin for fried chicken instead of pizza
Finds a spot with Jin and Yoongi when he gets overstimulated or needs to recharge
Orders extra at breakfast the next morning so Jimin will sit next to him or on his lap to share

Ch. 24: Forever
Being home took a little adjusting for Yoongi. He didn’t think it would, but after his first night back he realized how much he had gotten used to waking up alone in the woods. Not that he would ever prefer waking up alone over waking up next to Hyeri, but he definitely misses waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature right outside his window.
Hyeri remains sound asleep, so without disturbing her, Yoongi slips out of bed and begins to prepare breakfast. She has a week before she starts working on her new drama, so he wants to take advantage of the time before he begins jumping into his own work. He knows she’ll be spending most of her time studying her script and he wants her to stay focused on that because he knows how much this role means to her, so he’s taking it upon himself to cater to her every need as much as possible so she won’t have to interrupt her working.
Hyeri is delighted to wake up to the smell of breakfast. She’s missed Yoongi’s cooking so much. She may not fully admit it to him, but she ate out quite a lot in his absence and not always healthily. However, she should have known that she doesn’t have to admit it to him because he could already tell the moment he started looking for ingredients to make breakfast. It almost looks the same as the day he left. He’s lucky he even found enough to make a meal, so while he did that he put in an order for groceries and waited for Hyeri to wake up so he could scold her in his usual caretaking way.
“Smells good in here,” Hyeri says entering the kitchen dressed in nothing but one of Yoongi’s oversized navy blue t-shirts. “I missed getting a good Min meal everyday,” she jokes.
“Is that why you haven’t cooked anything yourself this whole time?” He smirks.
“No, I cooked,” she lies. “A little.”
“Really?” He can see right through her.
“Yeah….I made lots of ramen for myself.”
“Hyeri,” he chuckles.
“Yeah yeah I know, but delivery is so much easier than doing all the work myself,” she laughs taking a seat in a stool at the kitchen bar.
“You’re lucky you have such a loving and caring boyfriend who makes sure you have a home cooked meal that’s nice and healthy.”
“How healthy is that French toast with whipped cream on it?” She jokes pointing to the not very healthy looking piece of toast topped with cinnamon sugar, whipped cream, and honey. Certainly not the healthiest meal.
“That’s all we had in there. Why didn’t you get groceries?” He playfully scolds.
“Just because I didnt get the groceries you’re looking for doesn’t mean I didn’t get any at all.”
“Then what did you get?”
“The important thing is that I have the most wonderful boyfriend in the world who cooks me good food.” She smiles at him with her nose scrunched and her eyes pressed into the most mischievous yet adorable crescents.
“Eat up, silly,” he laughs putting her plate in front of her and sitting next to her with his own.
“You’re the best.”
“Don’t patronize me,” he jokes.
“I mean it,” she giggles. “I’ll tell the world how great you are!”
“Oh really?”
“Yeah!” She says perked up.
“You seem very excited about that. Do you want to go shout it from the balcony so you can get it out of your system?” His laugh blowing bits of cinnamon sugar off of his toast.
“Maybe I will,” she says shoving a bite in her mouth. “I want everyone to know,” she pouts.
“You really mean it?” He asks unconvinced. “I thought you were just saying that before. You’d really tell everyone that we’re together?”
“Yeah.” She sinks a little in her seat as if that confession embarrasses her. “I mean…I still want to wait until after the show airs, but I just feel like it’s this big secret that’s weighing me down and I just want to let it go. I want to be free finally and putting that out there would be a huge relief.”
“You mean after-“
“I know.” She raises her hand to stop him. “I know I didn’t want to at first but then I realized that it’s the very thing that’s been bringing me down. This secret that’s caused us both so much pain. Hiding it makes it feel temporary and I don’t like that. I don’t like temporary. Nothing about how I feel for you is temporary. Even my career feels more temporary than how I feel for you. When the roles stop coming and the royalties dry up, I’ll still have you. If…you’d still have me.”
“If I’d still have you?” He asks tilting his head.
“If you don’t get sick of me or something.” Her confidence quickly fades and she becomes a shy girl wondering if her crush likes her back. Never mind the 3 years they’ve been together.
“Sick of you?” He huffs. “Are you crazy, Na Hyeri?”
“Yes,” she laughs. “I guess if anyone were sick of anyone it would be me sick of you.”
“What are you trying to say?” He playfully rolls his eyes at her teasing.
“I don’t know,” she laughs nervously. “I’ve had a lot of time to think to myself and I guess I’m just spitting it all out now that you’re back home.” She pauses then looks in his eyes. “I’ve been missing my best friend. The love of my life, and now I feel like I finally have you back. I guess I’m just really happy and can’t contain myself.”
“I’ve been missing you too,” he smiles fondly.
“I know I’ve said it before, but I’m really sorry for trying to keep us a secret. I thought my career would suffer but I suffered instead, and you did too. I feel like I’ve changed so much because now I don’t care if anyone knows. I love and care about you and that’s all that matters. You’ll always be there for me, right? I mean like…for a long time?”
“Forever, Hyeri,” he says taking her hand. “Isn’t that what we said?” He taps his bracelet with ‘Forever mine. Forever yours.’ written on it. “I meant it. I want forever with you.”
“I want forever with you too.” Her face lightens up with the biggest smile of infatuation.
“So should we tell the world before or after the wedding?” He asks half joking.
“Wedding? Don’t play with my heart, Yoon-gya,” she chuckles feeling a wave of shyness overcome her again.
“I’m not playing with your heart,” he smiles. “I mean, would you want a wedding? You always look stunning in any gown you wear.”
“You just want to see me in a gown?”
“No,” he laughs. “I want to see you…I mean, I want to…I’m asking if you wanted to.” Suddenly Yoongi is feeling nervous discussing the topic. He didn’t exactly plan to bring up a wedding or anything, but it’s not something he hasn’t thought about before. Being together forever the way they say to each other would obviously imply marriage at some point, but they never spoke about it directly.
“If I want to have a wedding?” She thinks. “Well I always thought about my dream wedding when I was a kid. I thought about the type of dress and the colors and having a big cake with all my friends and family there. I guess I stopped dreaming about it once I debuted.”
“Why?”
“You know why. The same reason why it was so hard for me to let people know about us. I thought it would be a definite end to my career. You know how it is for us.”
Yoongi nods feeling slight disappointment. She’s not wrong, and the more he thinks, the more he hates how right she is. Dating is already like the end of an idol’s career and he hates it. Getting married may as well be announcing retirement.
“So,” he hesitates. “Have you changed your mind since then? Would getting married still be the end of your career?”
“I don’t know,” she whispers looking down at her now empty plate. “But…maybe it would be worth it if I still get to be with you.”
“Hyeri,” he exasperates with flattery but a bit of objection. “This is your dream. You’ve told me so many times how acting is your true dream, and now you’re living it. I wouldn’t let you throw it all away just for me.”
“But if I stop getting roles because of our relationship what could I do?”
“You’ll keep fighting like you’re doing now,” he encourages. “You went against JJS and told the world the truth, then you turned around and landed this amazing role that I know you’re going to smash! Anyone would be a fool to turn you down just because you’re with me.”
“And you?” She asks. “Your career? Your fans? Everything you’ve worked for all of these years? Would you let it crumble for me?”
“It won’t crumble,” he says confidently. “The people who truly love and care about me won’t have a problem. Anyone else never truly cared for me, and why should I care what they have to say?”
Hyeri looks at him speechless. This isn’t the first time she’s seen this side of him. It’s part of the reason why she loves him so much. His confidence and ‘I don’t give a fuck’ attitude towards anyone who dares to have a negative opinion about him is admirable. She wished that someday she could be just as carefree. Unfortunately, she hasn’t reached that point yet and just as much as he doesn’t want her throwing her career away, she doesn’t want him to do so either. She said she wanted to let go, she wanted to finally free herself of the weight of this secret, but now she’s not so sure anymore.
After her experience with Two Piece and their unfortunate end, Hyeri had always expected her career to end in a moments notice. All she could do is try her best to make sure she wasn’t the reason for it. She works her ass off each day as if it’s her last because she knows it very well could be. The problem is her anxiety and lack of trust when it comes to the companies she works for. Her hard work and dedication wouldn’t make a difference if the people she works for are terrible. That’s where she feels Yoongi simply doesn’t understand her. He became a trainee and debuted with the same company he currently remains with after many years. The relationship he has with his company is a rare one of trust on both ends. And given his level of popularity around the world with BTS, he could do what he wants and instead of it being a problem it becomes an admirable act of justified rebellion. She’s never had that security, so when it comes to doing something like this she can’t help but worry.
“I mean it,” he reiterates. “I’ll be fine and so will you. In the end, it will all be ok. Don’t let anything stop you from living your dream.”
“Right,” she nods. She’s not entirely convinced, but he’s always so encouraging she can’t help but feel a bit more optimistic.
While Hyeri is studying her lines and thinking about the things that could go wrong for her career if she reveals their relationship to the world, Yoongi is writing lyrics while thinking about marriage. Now that it’s come up he can’t get the thought out of his mind. There’s no question that he wants to spend the rest of his life with Hyeri. He’s never loved anyone the way he loves her, he would only be hurting himself by not taking that step to make her officially his family. So why does the thought make his chest feel so tight?
It’s a tightness that doesn’t let up until the next day when he has his first session with Minho since being home. Hyeri took off to go over her script with one of her costars so that Yoongi could be home alone for his session with Minho. He told her it wasn’t necessary, but she felt he may not feel completely comfortable being candid and honest with Minho if she were there, so she took off.
Yoongi sits on the couch next to Minho going through the feelings he’s had since he’s been back home. It’s only been a couple of days and Yoongi has yet to return to working fully so he still has great optimism. The part that becomes difficult to talk about is his talk he had with Hyeri the day before. He’s stuck somewhere between being excited at the thought of making Hyeri his wife, and being absolutely terrified.
“If you were to get married,” Minho begins. “What is the worst thing that could happen?”
“We’re idols,” Yoongi shrugs. “There’s a lot of ‘worst things’ that could happen.”
“But for you personally?” Minho clarifies. “You said Hyeri mentioned giving up her career, what about you?”
“She shouldn’t have to give up her career, her dream, just because she wants to get married.”
“But you?”
“I would feel really bad if she gave it up for me.”
“But you?”
“I want her to be happy.”
“Yoongi…”
“Ok ok, shit,” Yoongi sighs. “I don’t think I would have a purpose outside of music.” His admission causes his bottom lip to quiver a bit. “If I’m not doing music then what has my life been about? I shouldn’t have to choose between being in love with Hyeri and being in love with music.”
“You feel like you have to choose?”
“No…” he hesitates. “Yeah…I mean, my success in music isn’t entirely up to me, is it?”
“You’re always so bold and daring,” Minho compliments. “You never seem to care about public opinion, and at times go out of your way to oppose societal norms, especially when it comes to idols. So what makes this different?”
Yoongi sits silently thinking of the answer. This is very different, because not only could this effect his career, but it could effect Hyeri’s, and it could effect his brothers. On top of that, the thought of doing anything other than making music is unfathomable.
“It’s more than just me,” Yoongi quietly mumbles.
“Marriage is a big decision,” Minho says. “So let’s back up a little. Before marriage, you would need to reveal your relationship first, right? If you go public with your relationship what do you feel would happen. It seems people were supportive when they thought Hyeri and Kihyun were dating, do you think it would be different with you?”
“Hyung,” Yoongi sighs. “I saw everything. I saw what people were saying about both of them during that time. Sure some people were supportive, but the others were brutal. I’ve taken all kinds of hate, but fuck it hurt me to see the shit people were saying about them. That’s the love of my life and my friend and I only drank more because they didn’t deserve that shit. Calling Kihyun a bad boyfriend because he was promoting his music while she was sick. Calling Hyeri a gold digging whore, for what? I don’t want her facing that type of bullshit from people that I’ve dealt with my entire career. She doesn’t deserve that.”
“Are you saying you would continue your relationship in secrecy in order to protect Hyeri?”
“Well yeah….I mean I guess so.”
“But that’s not what you said before. You were willing to reveal your relationship back when the photos of you two were leaked. What’s changed?”
“You’re killing me,” Yoongi exasperates throwing himself into the back of the couch. “I was thinking impulsively at the time, but now…shit…nothing…nothing has changed.” He runs his fingers through his hair while holding back the stupid tears he’s been trying to fight. “I still want to tell the world. I still want to give anyone in opposition the middle finger because fuck them and their opinion. It’s just that Hyeri is…I know she can handle herself, but I don’t know I’m still scared.”
“Scared of what exactly?”
“People being…I’m scared of her getting…I’m afraid that…fuck, I don’t know! I’m just scared. Scared for her and me and everyone around us.”
Minho raises an eyebrow then repeats his earlier question. “What’s the worst that could happen?”
There’s an answer to that but Yoongi isn’t quite sure he’s ready to give it. His body feels like it’s burning from the inside out. He drops his head into his hands and groans in anguish.
“I’m gonna fuck it up I just know it,” he mumbles.
“Why do you think that?”
“I don’t know, I just feel it. I’m going to find some way to publicly fuck it all up while the world watches. I’m going to find a way to hurt her again and I can’t do that. I can’t fuck it up but I’m so afraid that I will.” Yoongi raises his head and bites the corner of his quivering lip. “She seemed so fucking happy talking about going public, but what happens if it doesn’t work out? If I royally fuck up again? I thought I was ok, I had so much confidence but I feel haunted by my mistakes and for whatever reason it’s hitting me now. Can I do this?”
“Of course you can,” Minho encourages.
“How? How do I find that balance here? I want to protect her with my life, but I don’t want to be overbearing. I want to do everything I can to never hurt her again, but I’m fucking terrified that I will now that I’m here.”
“What exactly do you think you will do to fuck it up?”
“All it takes is one drink.”

-Revenge You got yourself in trouble, moron, now you better hold your nerves Guess what, I always dominate Back to you, blockhead Yeah, Yeah, Try to kill me again, I can always rub your face on the hot floor again The law of return always works, so it's better to stick with it Don't try to run from me, I always win
-Primary & Secondary weapon kill Eat this, blockhead This here is a real Touchdown Look at the pipe, and smile at the flash (Happy laugh) you had to see your face on the floor (laughs loudly) No, seriously, this is ridiculous Come on, cry some more, you're already ridiculous in yourself Come on guys, give me a real challenge, not these amateurs! You all suck in an indescribable way (Insulting laugh) Get dunked, loser Just know you're going down with my fifty eight clips

Headcanons and other things I like to keep consistent in any interpretations, AUs or otherwise of the ZX/A crew, just for fun:
• For all intents and purposes, Girouette IS Vent and Aile's dad, adoptive or otherwise, no ifs, ands, or buts.
• Girouette is both a master baker and a total prankster.
• Girouette Express actually started out as a cake delivery business, which Giro inherited from his own adoptive father that named it in his honour.
• Vent and Aile are twins. Neither is sure who the oldest actually is, but it's Vent.
• Vent's favourite food is barbeque pork buns, which I took from the manga.
• Aile takes her coffee black but will also indulge in hot chocolate every so often. We're talking very, VERY fancy hot choc.
• Vent is a bonafide fashion disaster when he's not in uniform, and Aile prefers to dress androgynous. The two will often share accessories and jackets. Aile buys hers several sizes too big A: for aesthetic, B: so her tank of a twin can borrow them.
• Sho from the manga inevitably ends up running Girouette Express when the twins are indisposed.
• The source material never actually states that PnP are twins (and believe me I've scoured the ZX/A scripts), but I always treat them as such, with Prometheus as the older twin.
• Prometheus will always, without fail, end up in a death-related job no matter what universe I write him in. This is inspired by his status in canon proper as the Grim Reaper.
• Pandora is naturally glamourous but always puts effort into her appearance. Prometheus is vain as a peacock and unfortunately is NOT naturally glamourous at all.
• Pandora is weirdly perceptive of everyone's emotions but her own. Prometheus sucks at social interactions but doesn't come across that way due to immense vanity and overconfidence.
• Pandora is usually the first of the twins to spike her drinks with some sort of alcohol. Prometheus, bizarrely enough, recognises this to be an unhealthy coping mechanism more than she does and doesn't drink as often. His preference is chilli hot chocolate, she likes matcha lattes.
• Aeolus has some experience in working as a lawyer, no matter what universe I write him in.
• Aeolus is classically trained in ballet and has dabbled in both kendo and iajitsu.
• Aeolus is albino and partially blind.
• Siarnaq is fluent in sign language. Aeolus and Pandora are the only other two Megamen able to have a full conversation with him in it as they are also fluent. The rest are still learing.
• Siarnaq is a terrible, awful cook who will burn his RICE without fail. Bizarrely enough however the only thing he is ANY good at preparing is pufferfish.
• Thetis grew up around religious influences which partly influenced his whole "cleanse the world" pholisophy, and also has a criminal record from being involved in graffiting and protests.
• Thetis loves tacky formalwear and anything with fish on it. I can see an older Thetis wearing fish-patterned ties.
• Atlas is the best cook out of the Big Four as she actually uses spices. Oftentimes, TOO many spices for their tastes, barring Siarnaq. Her spiciness tolerance is very high.
• Partly taken from what I've seen of the ZXA manga, but Grey LOVES his sweets and trying new foods. Ashe has not helped in this as what she drinks can barely even be considered coffee given the amount of syrups she puts in it.
• Ashe is a FANTASTIC dancer. Vent dances like a dad at a disco. Both are inevitably the first to join in if something like the Macarena or Nutbush are played. (Great, now I want to animate them doing the Nutbush.)
Any other headcanons I give away will spoil some very minor plot points of FTGFTF, but spoil them nonetheless, haha.
Feel free to reblog and add what you like to keep consistent about these characters!! Curious to see how interpretations differ :)

 MODEL TRUCKER
Your Toga Chip Guy gets calls from all over the world with all kinds of questions regarding the potato chip.   A previous blog post was about a man named Alan from Washington State, a Boeing retiree, who bought an old Dickey's Potato Chip truck to restore.  He requested my assistance to find the authentic logos to redecorate the refurbished truck.  Several years later I was contacted by Russ, the subject of today's blog post.
Russ spent his career as a driver for a beer and wine distributor in Connecticut.  After retiring about seven years ago, he relocated from the Springfield, MA suburb of Ludlow, MA to his childhood area of Andover, Maine, not far from Mount Washington, New Hampshire. Russ' hobby is decorating blank model trucks.   He started out focusing on home delivery milk brands he remembers from his childhood .  Hen then moved on to bread delivery trucks and more recently has honed in on snack delivery trucks, most notably potato chip brands.  Many of these companies are now defunct and since I have researched many of these companies and posted about them on my TogaChipGuy.comwebsite under the section entitled "Building an Industry" Russ reached out to me for help in obtaining the proper logos, and company script including font and colors.  I had already obtained photos of many of these and knew where to reach out for help for those which I had not already secured.
The first thing Russ does is find and acquire blank trucks of all styles such as delivery vans, step vans, tankers etc.  They are plastic and normally all white.  These blank models are hard to find and normally are sold as part of a collector's liquidation.  Recently Russ found seven for sale of which he purchased five.  . Many of the models are of Detroit Industrial Vehicle Company ("DIVCO") produced trucks.  Others are GMC models from the 1950's., Bulldog, Atlas and Athearn trucks  The hot wheels, matchbox, and other diecast metal models are generally not suitable since they are already decorated with various brands.  When he has to use the metal diecast model, Russ uses rubbing alcohol and Qtips to strip the painted logos and lettering.  He avoids using any more powerful materials so as not to  remove the underlying paint on the metal models  Russ uses HO models that are similar sized and correspond the HO model trains.   They are smaller than the larger O models.  For the milk trucks, Russ includes the refrigerator box that was affixed to the top of the truck.
Securing the authentic logos and lettering is the most time consuming challenge.  Business cards, invoices, letterheads and company postcards on clear backgrounds normally have clear backgrounds and are the best sources.  Old tins are more difficult as they are rounded and vintage bags are usually wrinkled.
One he gets good images, Russ uses his computer (often with the assistance of his wife), to produce decal images of the logo and lettering.   Sometimes his wife enhances the colors with colored pencils.  He prints the logos and lettering on decals with sticky paper.  Since the models are small, the decals must be sized and  can also be very small, depending upon where they are placed on the models, such as doors or windows.   Tweezers are often needed to place the decals on the proper spots.  He likes to add the address and phone numbers on the doors and strives for all of this to be authentic.
Russ makes models of brands that are not already marketed.  "I make models of the brands you can't buy."  You don't really make any money so I end up giving many of them away to places such as museums.  For example, a blank model will cost about $20, and after all of his effort to decorate it, he would be lucky to get about $40 for it.
Among the potato chip brands Russ has made are Bachman's, Frito-Lay, Granite State, Humpty Dumpty, Stateline,  Utz, and Wise.  The companies  that he is currently researching are Castonguay's of Lewiston, Maine, Circus Time, and King Cole.  Russ displays his work with photos on his Russ Towle Facebook page.  https://www.facebook.com/russtowle.  The models are shown in front of a model train warehouse.  See his of potato chip brands below.

The Badass Seed Part 1
Warnings: emotional abuse, sexual coercion, implied past sexual assault, drug and alcohol use, trauma, PTSD, gaslighting, manipulation, emotional distress, mentions of statutory rape, profanity, voyeurism, blackmail, betrayal, underage drinking, inappropriate student-teacher relationship
The auditorium buzzed with fluorescent lights and scattered whispers as students half-heartedly trickled into the seats. A makeshift sign taped to the door read: The Bad Seed Auditions – All Welcome, and the mood was somewhere between dread and disinterest. Mr. Fitz stood near the edge of the stage with a clipboard and the kind of anxious energy that suggested he’d already regretted volunteering to direct. Another student finished their audition with an overacted gasp, prompting polite, confused clapping from the handful of drama regulars and overachievers.
“Next up… Lily Grey?” Ezra called, scanning the list with a faintly furrowed brow. Heads turned. From the back of the auditorium, Lily stood up, hoodie unzipped over her volleyball t-shirt, gum cracking between her teeth. She didn’t look nervous—she looked annoyed.
Justin, seated near the tech booth beside Caleb, looked up. “Didn’t realize you were a theater kid now,” he said as she passed.
“I’m not,” Lily deadpanned. “Coach J says it’s ‘team-building,’ and Dr. Sullivan thinks I need to express myself with something that won’t get me suspended. So I’m here to emotionally grow or whatever.”
She made her way up the stairs and grabbed the script Ezra offered, barely glancing at it. She stepped to center stage and paused, spine straight, eyes distant. Then, without warning, she dropped into the role.
“You think I care about consequences?” she read, voice low and sharp. “I invented them. You can call me wicked, broken, cruel—but you made me. So whose fault is that?”
Silence. No one even fidgeted. It wasn’t just good—it was uncomfortable in the way all good villains are. Lily’s delivery was steady, cold, too practiced for someone who claimed this wasn’t her thing.
Ezra blinked. “That was… honestly fantastic. Would you consider—”
“I’ll wait for a callback like everybody else,” Lily interrupted, tossing the script on a folding chair and hopping down the stage steps. “But don’t get your hopes up.” In the audience, Noel watched her the entire time, jaw slightly slack. It wasn’t that he was impressed—it was that he was surprised by how much she meant it. He wasn’t sure if she was acting or just saying things no one had let her say out loud before.
Back at the tech booth, Caleb let out a low whistle. “Okay, your sister’s terrifying.”
Justin smirked. “And you’re just figuring that out?”
He didn’t take his eyes off Lily as she passed them again, ignoring the subtle stares. Caleb glanced down at the screen on the laptop where Lucas had just walked off backstage, carrying a flash drive in one hand and a prop knife in the other.
“You still think he’s up to something?” Caleb asked.
Justin’s expression hardened. “I know he is.”
———
The hallway outside the auditorium was less chaotic than usual, the school play pulling half the students inside for auditions and gossip. Hanna stood at her locker, arms crossed tightly over her chest, her gaze sharp as Caleb leaned against the metal beside her, trying to explain himself. His voice was low, urgent—apologetic in a way that felt unfamiliar.
“I wasn’t working with her,” he said, his eyes flicking around like he wasn’t sure who might be listening. “It was a one-time thing, Hanna. Just a favor—”
“For Jenna?” she cut in, voice bitter. “You did a favor for the girl who literally blinded my best friend?”
Caleb looked like he wanted to disappear. “I was trying to help you. She had files, okay? Stuff about Ali. About the night she went missing.”
Hanna stared at him. The silence between them ached with all the things they hadn’t said for weeks—maybe months. She slammed her locker shut harder than necessary, biting the inside of her cheek to keep from saying something cruel.
Lily had been walking past them, earbuds in, hoodie sleeves tugged over her hands. She hadn’t meant to eavesdrop—at least, not at first—but Hanna’s voice wasn’t exactly quiet. She paused, pulled one earbud out, and hovered a moment before turning back around.
“You want advice?” Lily said, flat, but not unkind. “If you forgive him, mean it. If you don’t, shut the door and bolt it. Don’t do the in-between. That’s where people get stuck.” Hanna blinked, caught off-guard by the softness buried under Lily’s edge. Caleb didn’t say anything, just looked at Lily like maybe she’d read his mind. She didn’t wait for thanks. She turned on her heel and kept walking.
Noel was leaning against the next bank of lockers, pretending to scroll through his phone, though he hadn’t touched the screen in minutes. He fell into step beside her without asking.
“You always give advice like that?” he asked, trying for casual.
“Only when it’s not my business,” Lily replied.
They walked in silence for a few beats, the kind that was heavy without being hostile. Noel kept his hands in his pockets. Lily didn’t slow her pace, but she didn’t pull away when he stayed close.
Finally, he said quietly, “Do you actually think I’m like him?” Lily stopped. Turned toward him.
“If therapy’s taught me one thing,” she said, voice measured but honest, “it’s that people are layered. And I know a lot of your layers, Noel. But you won’t let me see some of the important ones.” His mouth opened, then closed again. She didn’t wait for a reply.
“I’m not mad you have secrets,” she added, softer now. “I’m mad you don’t think I can handle them.” And then she was walking again, leaving him alone in the middle of the hallway, phone screen still dark.
———
The tech booth above the auditorium was warm and humming with old equipment and too many extension cords. Justin sat perched on the stool near the light board, chewing the end of a pen while watching Lucas move around the stage on one of the backstage camera feeds. He’d set up a looped recording to keep tabs—Lucas kept slipping away during rehearsal breaks, and something about the way he hovered near the prop cages was off.
Caleb sat nearby on the floor, laptop balanced on one knee, fingers flying across the keyboard as he tried to crack into whatever Lucas had locked behind two different proxy servers and a password system that looked more like something from a bank vault than a high schooler’s hard drive.
“This kid’s either a genius,” Caleb muttered, “or he has way too much free time.”
“Both,” Justin said without looking up.
The door creaked open behind them. Asher stepped in, sunglasses still on indoors, holding two iced coffees and a half-eaten granola bar. He was wearing a Henley that clung in a way that felt intentional. His hair looked like it had been styled by the wind and divine intervention.
“Wow,” he said, surveying the room with mock judgment. “Sexy lighting. Dust. Boys squinting at screens. Is this your idea of foreplay?”
Justin turned, already smirking despite himself. “I’m literally tracking a potential predator. This is not foreplay.”
“You say that,” Asher said, handing him one of the iced coffees, “but your ‘focus face’ is giving me a lot right now.”
Caleb didn’t look up. “He always looks like that.”
Justin took the coffee but didn’t respond. Asher hopped up on the counter beside him, long legs swinging, completely unconcerned about the very real surveillance operation happening just beneath him. He leaned over Justin’s shoulder to peek at the screen, the scent of cologne and trouble settling into the air between them.
“Who’s our leading man?” Asher asked, eyes flicking to the paused frame of Lucas holding a flash drive backstage.
“Lucas,” Justin muttered, distracted. “I think he’s hiding something.”
“Well, he’s not hiding fashion sense,” Asher murmured. “What are we thinking—hacker? voyeur? future cult leader?” Justin snorted, but didn’t deny any of it.
Asher tilted his head toward the screen, frowning. “Wait, go back. That frame—there.” He leaned in further, nearly brushing Justin’s arm. “Isn’t that the back door to the equipment room? That’s not supposed to be open.”
Justin rewound the feed. He hadn’t noticed it, but Asher was right—Lucas had propped open a locked door with a broom, then vanished inside for a full ten minutes.
Caleb finally looked up, his eyes narrowing. “Well, damn. Pretty boy has decent instincts.”
Asher shot him a smug grin. “I contain multitudes.” Justin glanced at him, the air between them suddenly heavier. Asher wasn’t smiling the way he usually did—it was softer now, more honest. There was a second, a flicker of something real, like they were both teetering on the edge of a cliff.
And then Asher cleared his throat, slid off the counter, and stepped back. “Anyway. I should go… do… non-stalker things. Let me know if Lucas starts sacrificing frogs or whatever.”
“Thanks for the coffee,” Justin said, voice low.
“Anytime,” Asher said, already halfway out the door. “Also, your hair looks really good when you’re concentrating.” The door shut behind him with a soft click.
Caleb waited exactly three seconds before speaking.
“Are we pretending that wasn’t a thing?” he asked. Justin didn’t answer. He just rewound the footage again and stared at the frame where Lucas disappeared through the open door.
———
The auditorium was finally emptying out, the last few stage lights dimming as rehearsal wrapped. Caleb packed up his laptop with practiced ease while Justin double-checked the camera feeds one more time, making sure they’d saved the footage Asher had flagged. Outside in the hallway, Lily leaned against the wall beside Hanna, both of them looking varying degrees of impatient and bored.
“Seriously,” Hanna muttered, tugging at the strap of her bag, “how long does it take to hack a drama kid?”
“Longer than you’d think,” Lily said. “Especially when the drama kid is apparently a black market tech goblin.”
As if summoned, Lucas rounded the corner, still in his black hoodie, holding a flash drive between two fingers like it was a piece of candy. He grinned when he spotted them—too wide, too smug.
“Looking for this?” he said, holding the USB aloft with a little waggle, like he was offering it up as a prize.
Justin stepped forward first, jaw tightening. “What is that?”
“Oh, just a little behind-the-scenes bonus footage,” Lucas said, clearly enjoying himself. “Nothing you’d be interested in. Unless you’re really into secrets you weren’t supposed to see.” Caleb narrowed his eyes but stayed quiet.
“Seriously?” Hanna said, stepping between Lucas and Justin. “What is your deal lately?”
Lily had already moved. She stepped right into Lucas’s space, barely a breath between them. Her eyes locked on his, sharp and steady, her voice dangerously low.
“You need to fuck right off, Lucas.”
Lucas blinked, but didn’t back down. “I’m just—”
“No. Don’t smile. Don’t start,” she snapped. “I don’t know what creepy hacker phase you’re going through, but if you wave one more flash drive at my friends like you’re in a Bond movie, I will throw your ass into the orchestra pit.”
The USB dropped a little in his hand. He didn’t speak—no one did. Behind her, Noel let out the smallest, involuntary sound—something between a cough and a very quiet oh.
Lily didn’t turn around. “No,” she said. “Don’t say it.”
“I didn’t say anything,” Noel said, voice low and slightly amused.
“You were thinking it.” Caleb coughed into his fist, failing to hide a laugh. Hanna didn’t even bother trying.
Lily turned, eyes narrowed. “Really? Now is when you get it up?”
“I—okay, to be fair,” Noel said, lifting his hands in mock surrender, “you just threatened a guy with murder and legal liability. That’s hot.”
“Unbelievable,” Lily muttered, brushing past him. Lucas took the opportunity to vanish down the hall, not even trying to be subtle about it this time.
“We’re gonna regret not taking that USB,” Caleb muttered. Justin was still watching Lily, eyebrows raised.
“Yeah,” Noel said. “But I wouldn’t trade that moment for anything.”
———
Spencer laid out the printouts across the Pretties’ table like evidence in a courtroom—yearbook clippings, a low-resolution still from an old school camera, and the most damning: a snapshot of Alison, mid-argument, facing off with Ian in front of a frat house. Toby hovered at her side, silent but steady, his hand resting gently on the edge of the table as if anchoring Spencer in place.
Aria’s arms were crossed tightly. Hanna leaned in, mouth pressed into a line. And Lily—Lily stared without flinching, though her knuckles had gone white where they gripped the back of the chair.
“We think this was taken the night Ali disappeared,” Spencer said. “And the guy in the corner?” She tapped the shadowy figure in the frame’s edge, half-turned, hoodie up. “Looks like Noel.”
The silence that followed was brittle. “I’m not saying he did anything,” Spencer added quickly. “But he was there. And none of us knew that.”
Lily’s voice came out cool, too even. “Because he didn’t tell anyone.”
Spencer hesitated. “Lily—”
“I said I’m fine.” She straightened, pulling her phone from her back pocket. “He didn’t do anything. Probably. Maybe. Doesn’t matter.” But it did. They all knew it did.
Later that night, Lily sat cross-legged on her bed, the glow of her laptop casting long shadows across her room. Her hair was still damp from a too-long shower, and she wore one of Justin’s oversized sweatshirts like armor. Her phone buzzed against her knee. Emily’s name lit up the screen.
She answered on FaceTime and was immediately greeted by Emily’s sleepy voice and a messy bun.
“Hey,” Emily said. “You okay?”
Lily shrugged. “I mean, define ‘okay.’” Emily gave her a look that said don’t push me, so Lily sighed and leaned back against the headboard.
“I’m really mad at him,” she said quietly. “Like, furious. He lied. He was there. He knew stuff about Alison that he never said, and now everything feels warped. But…” She trailed off. Emily waited.
“I still love him,” Lily admitted. “Even if I wish I didn’t.”
Emily nodded slowly. “That doesn’t make you weak.”
Lily let out a soft, humorless laugh. “No, but it makes me stupid.”
Emily hesitated, then said, “I’ve been thinking about Paige.”
Lily blinked. “What about her?”
“I don’t know,” Emily said, frowning. “The way she’s been acting lately… the mood swings, the secrecy. What if she’s A?” Lily didn’t respond right away. The thought hung in the air between them like smoke.
“Wouldn’t be the worst twist,” Lily finally said. “But if that’s true… we’re all screwed.”
———
She found him behind the school, same place he always went to be alone—leaning against the hood of his car, hood pulled up, staring blankly at his phone screen like he was waiting for something that wasn’t going to come. The wind stirred the trees behind him. The sky was overcast, thick with a storm that hadn’t broken yet.
“Noel,” Lily called, her voice slicing through the silence. He looked up instantly.
She didn’t stop walking until she was in front of him, arms tight across her chest, heart pounding so hard she thought it might crack her ribs open. She reached into her jacket pocket, pulled out her phone, and shoved the screen at him.
The photo glared in the fading light: grainy, zoomed in, shot through a windshield. Noel, walking alone in the dark, hoodie up, head down. Timestamped the night Alison disappeared.
“A sent this to me,” she said, voice brittle. “And you know about it because Emily sent in the group chat. I didn’t know what to do with it then. But now? I need you to explain and I need you to not lie to me about it.”
He looked at the screen for too long. Too quiet. Like if he stared long enough, he could convince himself it wasn’t real. “I don’t know what you think this is—”
“You were out that night,” Lily cut in. “Alone. In the woods. No one told me. You didn’t tell me. You’ve had so many chances, Noel.”
He dragged a hand through his hair, pacing a short step away. “It wasn’t like that.”
“Then what was it like?” she asked, her voice rising. “Because I keep hearing things, I keep seeing things, and every single one makes you look more guilty. Or more secretive. Or just—like someone I don’t actually know.”
He looked at her now, really looked. “It wasn’t about hiding it from you. I didn’t tell anyone.”
“That’s worse!” she snapped. “Do you understand that? I told Emily I’m still in love with you. And I am, Noel. I am. But you make me crazy. You make me feel like I’m falling off a ledge I didn’t even know I was standing on.”
She laughed, bitter and hurt and scared all at once. “I keep defending you. I keep thinking, ‘Noel’s not like the rest. Noel loves me. Noel would tell me if it mattered.’ But you don’t. You just… protect your secrets like they’re worth more than me.”
Noel stepped forward, eyes stormy. “It’s not that simple, Lily.”
“You’re right,” she said. “It’s not simple. It’s stupid. Because love without honesty? That’s just gaslighting with flowers.” He flinched.
She stepped back. “You’re hiding something from me. I don’t know what. I don’t know who. But I know it’s something. And maybe one day, when I don’t love you anymore, I’ll stop asking. But today’s not that day.” Then she turned and walked away, eyes burning, pulse roaring in her ears. She didn’t let herself look back.

The advertising industry has always been a rapidly growing industry in the global economy, and the demand for the buy/sell marketplace is significant in today’s digital world.
While entering this domain is relatively easy, maintaining long-term success can be challenging due to intense competition. To deal with it, developing the right classified script is a key strategy in the C2C marketplace.
OfferUp clone is one such classified script that allows you to launch your classified business in the USA quickly. Continue reading, as this blog covers all the essential details for building a secure classified marketplace in the US with the OfferUp clone script.
Let's dive into the facts.
Tumblr media
Overview Of OfferUp Clone
An OfferUp clone is an online classified marketplace that connects buyers and sellers for trading used or second-hand items at affordable prices. Unlike other platforms, an OfferUp clone app allows buyers to post reviews after transactions, enhancing trust and transparency. It also restricts the listing of dangerous or harmful items such as drugs and alcohol.
Using the OfferUp script enables you to launch your classified ads marketplace quickly and cost-effectively compared to developing a platform from scratch. Therefore, the OfferUp clone script is an ideal solution to kickstart your classified business.
How Does the OfferUp Clone App Work?
The OfferUp Clone app facilitates the buying and selling of pre-owned and second-hand items. This classified marketplace is optimized for mobile devices, showcasing numerous product photos via an endless scroll interface.
For Buyers:
Products are displayed based on the buyer’s geo-location to facilitate face-to-face interactions and community-driven relationships.
Buyers can also filter items by category, price, and distance to find exactly what they need.
For Sellers:
Sellers can list items instantly by uploading a photo from their smartphone or computer.
The platform simplifies managing incoming inquiries by sorting them by the highest offer, making it easy to contact potential buyers to agree on a price and meeting place.
This streamlined process makes the OfferUp Clone app an efficient and user-friendly platform for trading second-hand goods.
Salient Features of the OfferUp Clone App
The success of any app largely depends on its features and functionalities. Here are the standard and unique features considered while developing the OfferUp clone script in the USA:
Simple Login
The app offers multiple login options, including email, mobile number, and social media, allowing buyers and sellers to easily access the app.
Advanced Product Filter
The OfferUp-like app provides users with multiple filter options like categories, conditions, and regions, making it easy to find the desired items.
Regional-Based Search
By entering location information, buyers can find products available nearby, facilitating faster delivery.
In-App Chat
An in-app chat feature in the OfferUp clone app allows buyers and sellers to communicate directly, clarifying prices, bargaining, and product queries easily.
Review-Based Selection
The OfferUp-like app includes a review feature where buyers can post reviews about products. New buyers can easily filter products based on positive reviews.
Favorite Listing
Buyers can create a favorite list, acting as a shopping cart where they can add products to view or buy later.
Summing Up
By leveraging the power of an OfferUp script and tailoring it to the US market, you can unlock significant opportunities in the US classified market.
With dedication, innovation, and a focus on user experience, you can transform your classifieds platform into a thriving online marketplace that empowers both buyers and sellers to connect and redefine the way people shop in the USA.

So Evil My Love
Tumblr media
There are times watching Ray Milland’s attempts at more serious roles I wish they had been played by Cary Grant, though in the case of Lewis Allen’s SO EVIL MY LOVE (1948, Criterion Channel, TCM, archive.org), it would have required Grant to go against the types to which he increasingly confined himself. When Milland’s con artist dabbles in villainy, he’s quite good, though Grant would have been more charming. When he has to play scenes with an ulterior motive, however, he mugs outrageously (I shudder to think of the effect on Western civilization had he ever co-starred with Joan Crawford). I don’t think Grant would have been that obvious. At least he couldn’t have fallen into that singsong line delivery Milland keeps using to indicate deep emotion. But even he couldn’t have pulled off the sudden character change required in the film’s last act, when things seem to be going dreadfully soft for a moment. Milland is a turn-of-the-century artist and art thief who spots an opportunity when missionary’s widow Ann Todd nurses him through a bout with malaria during an ocean voyage from Jamaica to London. He puts the moves on her to win free lodging, but when he discovers she has a rich, unhappily married childhood friend (Geraldine Fitzgerald), he sees a lucrative opportunity for blackmail. Since this is “gaslight noir” (film noir set in the Victorian era), you know things aren’t going to go well. It’s going to be all shadows and duplicity. The surprise is that the seemingly noble Todd takes to chicanery like a natural. The script plants the seeds of that in the first shot, when she stands on the ship in the middle of a storm because she finds it exhilarating. This is one glacial blonde with a hot, seething inner life. She’s basically a combination of the two female archetypes in film noir, the Madonna and the whore. Todd is quite wonderful, pulling on her deeper, husky tones to create a woman whose life is a series of regrets. And her innate intelligence plays up the film’s interrogation of female roles in a stifling patriarchal society. There’s also strong work from Fitzgerald as a woman driven to alcoholism by her husband’s coldness, Martita Hunt as his steely mother, Leo G. Carroll as a philosophical private detective and Hugh Griffith as the coroner leading an inquest into matters you’ll have to discover for yourself.

Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (2011)
Tumblr media
While I didn't enjoy this film, that doesn't mean you won't. No matter what I say, the people involved in this project did it: they actually made a movie. That's something to be applauded. With that established...
The special effects have gotten better, which technically makes Spy Kids: All the Time in the World superior to Spy Kids 3D: Game Over. In terms of story, characters, plot, humor, action and imagination? This is miles below the promising debut we had in 2001. At home, you can’t watch it in 4D Aroma-scope "as it was intended” but I can’t imagine those scratch and sniff cards would’ve made any difference.
While stopping criminal Tick Tock (Jeremy Piven), OSS agent Marissa Wilson (Jessica Alba) goes into contractions. Her mission accomplished, she decides to call it quits and raise her new baby with her husband (Joel McHale). Soon after, Tick Tock escapes and with the help of a criminal mastermind named The Time Keeper, they begin disrupting time itself. Hours pass away like seconds. The villains' minions attack Marissa's homee, revealing to her step children (Rowan Blanchard as Rebecca and Mason Cook as Cecil) that their stepmother is a spy. With the help of their robotic dog Argonaut (Ricky Gervais), the kids set out to stop the villains.
Want to send your friends to the hospital? Play the “Spy Kids 4” drinking game. Whenever someone says “Time", “Clock”, “Hour”, “Minute” or “Second”, someone takes a shot. If those words are inside a crappy pun, take TWO shots. They’ll be suffering from alcohol poisoning in no time.
Say what you will about Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara (who appear in brief cameos and I’m sad to say have not become better actors since the previous films) but they had a certain appeal and presence. Their replacements have neither. You don’t care about them. To be fair, the young performers didn’t have a chance. This script and story is appalling. The “smell-o-vision” employed is little more than an excuse to have green fart clouds fly around the screen and poopy diapers tossed at bad guys. It's so juvenile you'll be admit you sat through the film. Wait, that explains it. Who else would accept this shoddy a story but the smallest kids? The kind who will laugh at ANYTHING?
From the first scene, you know the movie’s going to be rough. Marissa is running around, chasing Tick Tock while 9 months pregnant. Does the OSS have no other agents? She practically gives birth while apprehending the villain and then later on, rather than find a sitter to take care of her baby, brings it with her to keep fighting crime! I know what you’re thinking. It’s a movie for kids, you’re not supposed to look too much into it but the movie itself points out how lousy a mother she is by risking her child’s life!
Part of this series’ appeal - part of any spy film’s appeal - are the gadgets. The arsenal of devices our heroes receive is pathetic, but they’re golden compared to their talking cybo-pooch. Ricky Gervais is NEVER funny, though I bet he’s laughing all the way to the bank with this phoned-in performance. His line delivery is lame and the special effects used to make the dog “talk” are embarassing.
There are a couple of twists along the way, most of which you’ll be able to decipher just by looking at the characters’ faces. And then, there's a glimmer of hope right at the end. When we learn the villain’s motivation for all this, it actually makes sense. We have a credible bad guy - FINALLY. Too bad that if you take a step back and think about the plot, you realize the whole thing would've gone the way it does even if the heroes hadn't interfered in his plan. They’re completely useless and the only reason it doesn’t seem that way is because the movie cheats its own time travel rules.
Spy Kids: All the Time in the World gets so much wrong it’s kind of fun to tear it apart but only after the fact. The non-stop flow of horrible jokes and repetitive dialogue makes it painful to sit through. By introducing such concepts as the “spy baby”, it seals the deal. This franchise is done. It’s completely run out of ideas - or at least you hope so. After this, no one would want to see another Spy Kids movie again. (2-D Version, September 25, 2020)
