🐿️ He is a BIG prankster ever since he was a KID. He loves to see his victim getting into his trap but he knows his limits if he goes too far. He doesn’t want to HURT them. Just wanna have fun with them in his pranks.

🐿️ The nickname “Squirrel” is what he got called from Kanoa (his new leader). Because of how fast he could run and how fast he reloaded his guns. And also, he always stuffed his stash somewhere for safekeeping. (Like an ACTUAL Squirrel during winter to hide their nuts)

🐿️He really likes to dance. It made him feel like he could express himself more. Even with others. Him and Agnes would always have a dance battle whenever they are out of work.

Background Story:

On February 20th, 1994, Nigel was born. In a city in Virginia. Red hair like his mother and the face of his father. A few months later after Nigel was born. His father had to go back to work as a CIA Agent. So he’s not always around. But will always be on the call whenever he’s available. For he does want to know that his son is doing okay with his wife. Nigel understands his work when he grew up a little bit older and he’s very amazed of how he did his job. So he wouldn’t mind his father not being around since he has his mother. Nigel was only 5 months old before his father left.

And while growing up. A mischievous little red ginger boy who always plots to have the BEST pranks in HISTORY. He always does. Even for a boy who was only 10-years-old in Elementary. He got in trouble for pulling a small smoke bomb in his class making the teacher think there’s a fire. His mom was in the principal office and he got an EAR FOLD from her. In 2004. 

When Nigel was already 12-years-old, his mother had given him a surprise that he’s going to have a little sibling! Which excited him so much. So he started to help out his mom as much as he could before the BIG arrival. He even told his friends and his teachers about the news. He wouldn’t even stop talking about it. Until 9 months later, his baby sibling had arrived and what’s even BETTER is that his dad was there as well. And he decided to take his leave until the mom is back on her feet again. Nigel had seen he had a baby sister. A beautiful and cute baby sister. He somehow felt SO happy to see the joyful looking baby. And he had promised that he will fight the whole world to make sure that she is safe.

During high school, he talked to his mom about his future career. He wanted to become a CIA Agent just like his dad! For he wanted to help the world against crime. His mother is a very passionate woman of helping others and hearing this from her own son. It made her feel with glee and pride. She accepted! But not his father. He’s not UPSET. He’s just…worried for his safety. Since he’s been working as an CIA Agent for a LONG time and through his experience. He doesn’t want Nigel to go through it and he does want his son to stay home to take care of his mom and little sister. Nigel understands but he wanted to do something GREAT. Helping the people. Helping the world. He really does. His mother could see that so she suggested to him that he can join the military. She threatened to talk with his father about it. Surprisingly he agreed and let Nigel join the marines.

Nigel joined the Marines at the age of 20, since he wanted to help out with his mom and his little sister first. In 2014.

He’s been in the Marines for only 3 years and is already a Lance Corporal at that time. Most of his higher officers praised his useful skills. His fast movements of taking down his opponents. Fast of changing his loads of his guns and quick enough to shoot down his enemies from near and far. His skills had gotten the attention from the Commander. The leader of the Shadow Company.

Philip Graves.

Graves had seen great potential in him and decided to recruit him into his team. Nigel was very excited for this as he quickly accepted without questioning. He was 23-years-old at that time when he joined the Shadow Company. And he’s been working with them ever since. After the incidents from Las Almas. In 2022. Nigel had decided to join the Warriors Task Force. As he wanted to make it up after what happened. He was 28-years-old when he transferred from SC to the WTF.

Clexa Fanfic Series: something wicked (this way comes)

Synopsis: After the death of coven leader Thelonius Jaha, Gustus Woods' banishment from Polis, Massachusetts is lifted and he moves back with his two daughters, Anya and Alexandria Woods, who have no idea of their family lineage or the prophecy that had been foretold long before either were born.

Chapter 4: midnight séance (words: 8,746)

Clarke and Lexa hold hands on the docks, looking out into the ocean as they enjoy their own cones of gelato. Clarke offers her cone to Lexa, who licks the raspberry flavor. She offers her’s to Clarke who scrunches up her nose.

“No thank you, only you would get some weird tiramisu flavor.” Clarke remarks. Lexa laughs and rolls her eyes.

“It’s good! Come here, try it.” Lexa uses her hand that is holding Clarke’s to bring her closer as Clarke squeals and laughs as Lexa shoves the cone in her face, smearing it on Clarke’s nose and lips.

“Lexa!” Clarke exclaims, laughing but never actually trying to get away. Clarke licks the flavor off her lips, and jokingly pouts about the gelato on her nose. Lexa chuckles, leaning in to lick it off.

“There, all clean. It was good though wasn’t it.” Lexa smirks. Clarke rolls her eyes and laughs.

“Whatever you want to think, Lex.” Clarke guides them to sit on a bench that overlooks the water, watching the boats leave the harbor and some coming back in. The two sit together, just enjoying each other’s company and finishing their gelato. It had been a few weeks since the dinner. Summer was starting to come to a close, and since they had decided to pull back a little on investigating, they’ve been spending all their time together. Clarke teaching Lexa more spells, Lexa researching spells Clarke hadn’t known about, the two practicing together. Going on dates and learning more and more about each other. Clarkes learned about the time Lexa had a bad concussion during soccer that she forgot how to read for half a day. Lexa knows about the time Clarke cried because her kindergarten crush named Riley didn’t want to be her valentine. Lexa knows that when Clarke is nervous, she chews on her bottom lip, Clarke knows when Lexa is frustrated, she works her jaw from side to side.

mfer had a multipowered bioengineered monster, a mass warper, and still didn't kill a single kid???? it's actually so embarrassing that shigaraki is the Most Terrifying New Villain in the home country of her new life. being reformed doesn't stop girlie from being professionally offended by this amateur hour, as well as the response to it. the heroes here are commercialized and decentralized and it is exactly as crippling in the face of a bigger threat as she had hypothesized years ago.

if a villainous biotinker attacked a wards outing on bet, the think tank would drop everything to pinpoint the fucker so the protectorate could come down on them like the asteroid on the dinosaurs. criminals would be tripping over themselves to flip on the dude who brought the triumvirate to town!

instead, the extent of the public response is to put on a facade of being unaffected. all might is still spending his time running beat patrols, the sports festival will be broadcast as normal. and if anything is going on behind the scenes, it sure isn't making any progress. meanwhile the other villains are somehow impressed by the lov. they have a Reputation!

riley is offended and indignant and unimpressed. she is also kinda straight up sad, because it's depressing to know that if shigaraki were competent he could have crushed this place like an egg. if he made use of his assets during his debut, if he took full advantage of how the cape scene is run here...

they got so fucking lucky that the lov is run by an amateur. so. fucking. lucky. and just like riley, izuku is all too aware of that fact. he can't exactly not be with his sister brutally breaking down every variable.

after he gets attacked at the training camp riley pulls up with inko to ua and yells an I TOLD YOU SO YOU NEGLIGENT DUMMIES to nedzu. girlie absolutely rolls up her sleeves to handle the lov on her own bc apparently she really can't trust anyone to be competent around here.

the heroes are getting steamrolled by a pathetic d lister psychopathic man child and it's just. it's so embarrassing. that alexandria-lite really did a number on this country's cape scene, her brother has his work cut out for him on whipping this place into shape.

You came to the right place!!! I have read far too much wormfic to ever be healthy again.

I would not intentionally recommend very bad fics to a fandom newbie because that just makes for an unhappy experience—you'll have plenty of opportunities to find the dregs if you just look at any of the most common recs on /r/wormfanfic. I have a list of some of my own favourites, but my tastes are particular and often clownish. Of them, these are the ones I'd rec to someone new. In fact, many of these I read before joining the community myself and still hold up. Loaf (or, the fic that sucked me into the fandom): Post-Gold Morning, Contessa tries to bake a loaf of bread without using her power. Talk To The Hand: Talk To Me Review

So, this will be my 2nd A24 movie review and I am still processing this movie so if this review isn’t great, I’m sorry. Now, when I first heard about this movie which was a month ago, I honestly thought “oh great…another possession movie.”, but no this is not your typical possession movie and I’m going to tell you right now dear reader… I think this might be one of the best years to be a horror fan. Anyways, enough talking and cut to the chase and “Talk” about this movie in this spoiler-free review…I’m sorry about the pun.

Talk To Me is a 2023 supernatural horror film directed by Danny and Michael Philippou (RackaRacka) and this is their feature film directorial debut. Talk To Me is produced by Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton. This movie is written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman. The cast includes Sophie Wilde as Mia, Alexandra Jensen as Jade, Joe Bird as Riley, Otis Dhanji as Daniel, Miranda Otto as Sue, Zoe Terakes as Hayley, Chris Alosio as Joss, Marcus Johnson as Max, Alexandria Steffensen as Rhea, Ari McCarthy as Cole, and Sunny Johnson as Duckett.

The Plot:

When a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.

Positives:

One positive I have about this movie was how the cast worked so well with each other, each cast member nailed their roles…especially Sophie Wilde, her performance makes the viewer feel what she goes through, and she was unsettling in the possession scene which was shown in the second trailer. I appreciated how each character didn’t feel like just another body count as they served their purpose.

The second positive I have about this movie was that it didn’t depend on jump scares or violence (except for one scene) to make you feel uncomfortable, rather it was the story itself that made the viewer feel uncomfortable. This movie was made to make you feel something whether that’s discomfort, fear, or whatever emotion you get from watching this movie.

The third positive is that I’m glad we don’t get a clear explanation as to where the hand comes from, we get hints throughout the movie from the characters, but I liked how they don’t fill the movie with exposition on where the hand came from. This movie is straight to the point which is another positive I have about this movie. It isn’t slow like Insidious: The Red Door or too fast, it is a crisp 1 hour 35 minutes which is a great run time for a movie like this.

Negatives:

Sooooo, when it came to the negatives, I couldn’t think of one. Now I’m not calling the movie perfect by any means, but when I rewatch this movie I’m sure I will find some flaws but right now, I think this might be one of the better supernatural horror films we had in awhile (Conjuring 2 being my favorite one).

My overall thoughts:

I think this movie is worth your time if you want a supernatural horror movie that has plenty of twists and turns throughout to keep you invested, likeable characters throughout, and has plenty of suspenseful moments. I can picture myself owning this on physical media and rewatching it to find things I might’ve missed in my first viewing.
