I literally have dug through your posts three separate times and choosing a favorite is SO. HARD. FUCK.

So I've chosen three! In no particular order...

First, this one! Starlight and magic is something that's flowed through my veins since I was a child. This one captures that essence so fully, and just... I feel like if I actually experienced this in the real world, several of my problems would be solved. PLUS it was posted on my birthday last year. Yippee!

Second, this ratty lil one! It's just so adorable!! Am I biased because you included my boyfriend? Yes. BUT LISTENNN I just love all art of him and I together, whether that's Pirates art with mer!Wiind, or f!Will and f!Seven, or these cute lil rat boyos, or even the rare Outsiders versions I've seen!

Third, this Pirates one! I love including my community in so many things, and y'all were truly the skies above watching over p!Will in his travels. The message is so simple but you are loved. Everyone is loved. We are all but stories and stardust at the end of the day and this piece captures that we can still be connected and thrive together. I love that so much, it's so special to me.

here is mattias (left, he/him) and eva (right, she/her)!! they are drinking lemon soda by the river :]

i absolutely adore them.. they're best friends!!! they love each other and theyre so silly and !!! more rambles below the cut bc i love them so

okay okay so! they are both nineteen currently! that is because these two have grown with me since i made them at thirteen :] so now that im starting university so are they ! mattias is in fibre arts and design and eva is in public and social services (tho she's unsure about her choice at the moment)

they became friends in elementary school ! so they've known each other for a long time. at one point, eva's family fostered mattias! they became even closer during that time, confining in each other about their respective queer identities :]

their most common hang out is a makeover, other then board games (nerds), since mattias loves makeup and eva is always happy to try! any fashion in eva's closet was probably picket out by mattias :3

some individual info! mattias davis, or as eva calls him, mattie, is a queer cis guy who presents very feminine! his favorite color is pink and he makes sure the world knows it <3

eva summer is a trans girl and she's just chilling, really. she's having fun with life with her best friend by her side and its going great! her sexuality is fluid, so she decided to just leave it without a name :3 her favorite color is also pink ! they bonded over that when they first met :]

mattias' parents were unsupportive and ended up throwing him out at one point, after which he ended up in care of eva's parents. he ended up reuniting with his mom after a while, but right now he lives at the dorms with low contact to both his birth parents. the summers family has welcomed him to visit anytime tho, and he other does when eva misses them :] they're a duo <3

their story isn't set in a specific country, but its roughly the current world in which several of my other "normal" ocs exist! im drawing from my own experiences for them so inaccuracies are to be expected :P

I think..... and these weird scientist people turned me into a shiny and stuck an everstone inside me during an extremely painful process. long story short, the experiment gave me sentience, they found out, and injected something into me that made me black out and next thing I knew I was in some forest.

azure's backstory

Azure woke up in a lab one day with no prior memories. It isn't amnesia, they were literally made in the lab. A group of unknown scientists were conducting experiments on several pokemon, azure being one of them. Azure's experiments involved getting made in a lab as an artificial pokemon, having a substance being put into them to turn them into a shiny, and having some scales on their neck being replaced with parts of an everstone, rendering azure unable to evolve. After azure gained sentience as a side effect of one of these experiments, the scientists quickly injected something into azure, causing them to block out and appear in a forest. After a few weeks, azure discovered galar mine #2, and decided to dig a hole in the wall and make it's home there. An unnamed human miner who was doing work in this mine discovered azure's home, and is now looking after her by giving them berries each day. This human also gave azure a piece of azurite, which lead to azure choosing their name to be azure.

Azure is currently living with the unnamed human, since they wanted an actual home after staying with her for a while at the crown tundra. The only other pokemon living with them is crys, a very shy lampent who is over 200 years old.

Azure is currently in their second arc. They have learned how to get out of their body, and have awakened the original owner, Cobalt the drizzile. This is more or less just a filler arc until I create more lore, and cobalt doesn't get have a backstory.

HI ANON. um this is gonna be a long one.

so basically its a dnd inspired fantasy au, with the party as their dnd characters, classes pulled from this post , definitely didn't have to scrounge through my save blog for that, by @/elekinetic, if they didn't already have them. because it's real and true.

basest plot outline i can possibly give you is as follows; as young children all of the members of the party were Marked somehow for Evil and Villainous purposes, or perhaps Good and Benevolent purposes, but it stands that they marked. (by whom? well. tch. heh.) this mark comes with this innate.. pull? i guess? to the other members, but not strong enough to be noticeable, more of a seeing the others and thinking "oh! there you are! i've been looking for you!" despite never meeting before. the group starts as mike and will finding each other, before it all kinda spirals and they form a little adventuring party, led to their next destination by their faithful cleric, who alongside the original pull, feels another drawing them all to wherever the universe decides they Need To Be.

that's like. the concept i guess? i really don't want this to run too long so i'm putting more ideas and villainy and art and such under the cut :-D be warned i hate most punctuation and i love to ramble.

OK SO. first of all edward and henry are twins so jot that down. something Terrible and Unspeakable happens to the rest of their family when they're like 12ish and they run for the hills, eventually stumbling upon the mansion dwelling of a reclusive and moderately to severely insane mad... scientist? not entirely sure what brenners fantasy world equivalent profession would be. anyway yeah its brenner the twins are tricked duped swindled and had until theyre locked in his basement and become his newest experiments.

brenner is basically training them to be his guard dogs/weapons of mass destruction and is doing. canon typical things to them. until henry's like hey maybe you're right the world kinda does suck but id be sad if it all burned to the ground :-( i don't see how that's helping. (this is possibly spurred on by a spot of creelarke and scott chilling in gardens and teaching him that not all science is bad and mean and also that brenner is kinda full of shit) and for this grave crime he is locked in the attic.

vague handwavy magic plot bullshit (motives? where were going we dont need motives) blah blah edward has Marked/Cursed the party members woah oh noo!!!

this is mostly a vehicle to think really hard about fantasy byler and lumax and pre-UD-esque henry interacting with the party through their dreams to aid their Great Quest so try not to breath on it too hard. it may or may not fall apart.

they all have a more casual outfit for downtime and one for traveling and/or battling etc etc. you get the gist. dustin and lucas aren't done yet and you'd have to take drastic measures to get me to do anything other than type rn.

this is the first post on this blog!! yippee to that, but this is also my very first post on tumblr, like ever. so if i am confused on how to use it, this is why. but basically, this blog is about a story me and one of my close friends have been trying to write. i decided to take it into my own hands to actually start writing the thing so here we are. i’ll post the actual book on wattpad but as of now i don’t have it so hold that thought. anyways, here’s some art i did for it, so here’s that, i’ll try to update as regularly as i can, but for now, this is what i’ve got.

he's back! it's luke from three years ago! meaning his original concept was posted six (soon to be seven!) years ago... what a ride it has been! i was in elementary school when i made him, and now i've nearly finished my senior year. crazy how life moves without you noticing, hey?anyways, i'm here to just sort of place him down and see what happens. i don't expect anybody to remember him, but it's fun to see how he's progressed through the history of this blog, right?

First of all: YIPPEE WOOHOO I LOVE OLD OCS SEEING THE LIGHT OF DAY!!!

Mod Bright here, and I wanna take a moment to say ohhhh my god I love tracking how your art style's changed and grown since you first submitted! I love the softer lines you seem to be using now, and your coloring style is…ugh absolutely gorgeous.

As for Luke's redesign, ohhhh I'm in love. Though I think the original designs were nothing bad (in fact, I'm still a little fond of the first design, it's got so much charm!) I do really enjoy how nice on the eyes the color palette is here.

I also enjoy how his antennae-thingies have returned to being right over where his ears would be! It's a good place for them. :)

I also like how, aside from the seams in his body, he seems like he could be mistaken for an everyday employee- I think that's a really fun take for his character concept!

alright, so his name is still luke. he is a humanoid masculine-presenting android located in an establishment known as cam and dolly's, a subsidiary of fun!pizza business. his primary role is that of a caretaker; he is stationed in an area of the main cam and dolly's location known as "luke's corner". he is unique to the main building, as other cam and dolly's chain locations lack his special area.

luke's main function is to provide a safe, calm space for people of all ages who may find themselves overwhelmed or upset by the other attractions. he can draw, tell stories, hold intelligent conversations, play (calmly) with toys, and assist with certain arcade machines.

I am sososo glad you kept this concept because I always thought it was very sweet, and definitely plausible for a FNAF fangame or FNAF-inspired story concept!

Not much to say here, since I've already sung my praises about this in my last review, haha. Him being one-of-a-kind, though, while often implied with characters similar to this, is a really nice touch. :)

luke was purchased from an auction by the owner of cam and dolly's two years before the founding of the actual chain itself, as one of approximately thirty androids salvaged from the rubble of an abandoned warehouse after a fire had destroyed it. his original creator is unknown, as all previous branding (nautilus robotics inc) has no existing record as a real company and the recorded owner of the warehouse had been found deceased in their home shortly after the incident. luke, despite the fire, was in relatively good condition and was easily repaired by the owner herself.

THIS IS KIND OF SICK AS HELL. I like this a lot! Super mysterious, explains well why this android is hanging around a kids pizza chain of all places, and has just enough intrigue to keep people guessing! …And enough that you don't have to have all the details ironed out right away, I'm guessing. :P

I like how you've put detail into the actual incident that happened, too! It's nice to have a little more detail to his backstory than last time. Fond of this funny robot :)

I would love to hear more detail in the future, maybe, about the owner and her history/experience...it'd be really interesting, especially, to hear about her skill level with mechanics/programming respectively and/or lack thereof, and how the repair process actually, like, went.

luke is an artificial intelligence and is far more advanced than he lets on, however he is not without his quirks and.. issues. while luke still has an issue in his code preventing him from properly recognizing after-hours staff, his logic and outside reminders will suffice to keep him acting 'normal'. while i've written his story without much of a legitimate gameplay loop in mind (he's definitely more of a story oc than a game oc at this point lol), i do have some ideas for him.

I'd love to hear some more elaboration on exactly how advanced he is and his actual personality (since "more than he lets on" does sort of imply a fun level of sapience) outside of his job! Some detail on his perspective in particular I feel could be really cool.And ohohohoho gameplay loop ideas…these are always fun, even if you don't get to use 'em! Let's see…

if we are working with a traditional fnaf five nights security guard office style, i figure he'd work something like this:

luke becomes active on the first night and remains active all week, increasing in difficulty and aggression as nights go on (of course).

due to a previous incident involving a nightguard at the establishment, luke insists on trying to come to your office to "supervise" you. if he enters the office during this phase, he will be an obstacle to your control panel/camera panel, as well as an auditory distraction as he talks — luring the sound-sensitive dolly to your office faster than normal.

you can send luke back to his corner via commands sent to the receiver on his head. he has to obey these commands, even if he doesn't want to, leaning in to a frustration/aggression mechanic.

This is a really fun concept and really fitting for what you've said about him thus far!

I like the inclusion of a mechanic to send him back to his corner, and having there be consequences for using this mechanic (maybe so you'd have to weigh the benefits of keeping him around for a little longer than you'd like while dealing with other threats?) sounds like it'd add a very fun layer of complexity to nights.

the more times you send luke back to his station, the more frustrated with you he will become, ticking his aggression up with each use. once his aggression surpasses a certain threshold, he will switch into a more hostile mode, becoming more persistent as well as capable of jumpscaring/killing the player instead of just being an obstacle. he will take multiple paths to the office in an attempt to evade your cameras and commands.

Ohohoho…very cool, I like! The commands still working as Luke is en route in hostile mode (presumably only when he's in view on the cameras?) is fun too, feels like a sort of riff on the audio lure mechanics we've seen in the main series and fangames! Very nice.

the best way to deal with luke is to let him get close to the office before sending him back — this minimizes the amount of times you have to use the commands, therefore avoiding triggering his 'hostile mode' for as long as possible.

i have no idea if that's good or even playable and i'm also very sorry for the novel of a submission. i just enjoy my funny little guy and think he's quite silly. thank you for reading and thank you for not deleting this blog so this small piece of my own oc history has remained preserved :,,) i hope you have been having as much fun as i have.

I enjoy your funny little guy also and I'm glad you've submitted him to the blog :) I am also very glad that the blog is still up…though I don't really agree with its original message and haven't for a long time, I think it's an important artifact of internet history, y'know? And, of course, of individual OC history. :P

As for the hypothetical game mechanics, I think Luke's got some interesting ones that are definitely workable for a game!

The thing I've found is that you can't really predict whether something like this'll be too much/unplayable unless you have the full picture of all the cast's mechanics together, and even then some game devs have had it worked out then figured out some overlooked synergy between antagonist characters that makes stuff impossible!

So…don't sweat it too much, unless sweating it is fun for you.

To conclude…Thank you for submitting, and thank you for sticking with us all this time. Luke is a character that was already genuinely solid in concept, and here I'm only seeing more detail and thought in your writing.

I'd love to see where you go from here, if you work on this group of OCs any more!

1.First oc ever ?

I’m gonna have to pass this one to good ol’ Leader Decrose. I REFUSE to get into the backstory of how he came about, but in this old world I never dive in anymore, he’s like ? A refuge i suppose ? A set of four characters (including my self insert) were based on cards and his was the diamond.

3.Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else ?

Odd situation but I GUESS ?? There’s a few but one I like is named Polaris and they’re like. a dying star. And their big brother figure is Cyrus, aka cc who thought the key to transitioning was dismembering yourself and using dark magic on a lifesize frakenstein doll he made.

They work in a fucked up lab but like, fucked up as in goofy as hell. They’re so silly (:

19.Introduce a character that means a lot to you and why

*SLAMS JACE IN FRONT OF YOU* I love him an insane amount.

Jace Luong was away when the apocalypse striked, lost his daughter thag he blames himself for (but he could never save her anyway), accidentally shot a guy and had to step down from his military position, more for his mental sake than anything, ended up using his best friend, and that last one sounds so bad. and it is. But it is for this Reason that makes me shake him like GRRRR I LOVE YOU. WHY DID YOU DO THAT oh yeah i’m the author loll !!

Because the point of Jace is that. He wants to help so fucking bad but he keeps Messing It Up. He is not evil and I cannot say that enough—he is very “the means justifies the ends” but that does Not mean he doesn’t feel bad for using Noah as a lab rat. When Noah came back to KILL HIM he cried because someone Came Back For Him, even if it was to kill him.

I don’t wanna take up too much space but it’s because he’s not evil just severely fucked up from losing his daughter and the life of being in a world filled with zombies that he’s trying to rush to make some sort of cure, so he can save people, so that people can live again instead of just survive, but he goes about it in a horrible way that, honestly, was probably inevitable.

He’s special to me because he’s a fuck up, but he’s genuinely really really trying. He is not a good person, though.

(also if he was a tma avatar he would be of The Lonely or Eye and that’s so silly)

31.Pick an oc and explain what their Tumblr blog would look like.

I’m going to go with RAYNE because he probably DOES use Tumblr, knowing him. His layout is green but also he’s probably using the Goth/Rave color pallet because he thinks the colors are nice and he’s a 3 am user so that dark mode comes in handy. His pfp is like, his favorite pokémon but with a ditto face.

He reblogs pokemon stuff—screenshots, fanart, memes, etc and he’s Definitely gotten into discourse abt the best game. Also he’s totally a Nightvale listener so throw in some Nightvale posts. I think he reblogs a lot of shitpost art but also just art in general.

And of course, the occasional cat photo and tumblr trademark textposts.

50.Give me the good ol’ oc talk.

I WAS GONNA TALK ABOUT NOAH & CO. BUT I ALWAYS TALK ABOUT THEM so here’s the MoMOF crew, named after the lemon demon song “Mask of my Own Face”

It’s a classic high schoolers sci fi horror story, think stranger things except without mike bc i hate him (did not finish watching stranger things)

Basically, six kids, Rayn, Rowan, Alex, Ash, Zach and Winston are friends ! Yippee ! Average middle/high schoolers.

And one night, Rayn and Rowan (dating) are just hanging out. Rowan is conked the fuck out at Rayn is gaming on his DS, and then he gets a text from Alex saying “Dude, why tf are you outside it’s like 2 am ???” and Rayn is confused outta his mind.

“Wdym i’m literally at home rn.”

Alex attaches a photo, a shot looking thru the blinds of their window of what looks to be Rayn.

Rayn sends a selfie back of the Charmander he just leveled up and Rowan fast asleep.

And it Can’t be him if he just sent that photo, because the beanie he always wears was handmade by Asher himself—whos this guy ?!?

naturally, they text everyone, everyone’s yelling in a vc and was NOT asleep like they should be, and Rayn gets the FANTASTIC idea to go and see who the person is. Alex is yelling that they will personally stab Rayn if he does.

He does anyway.

and they’re too far away now for Alex to see, but they’re watching their phones and when Rayn finally approaches the other Rayn the camera flips and it is missing Half Of It’s Face and then Rayn hangs up.

And they Cannot Find Him.

So for weeks they are searching for Rayn and are scared out of their wits about Why there were Two and they told the police, but they don’t believe them all too much.

But Rowan finds him one night, at the edge of the forest. Half of his face looks tk have been torn away and his hat and coat is gone and he looks run ragged but oh. Oh no.

That’s the real Rayn.

And it turns out, the Rayn they’d been staying with recently was a clone.

And he’s babbling about something, saying they “Can’t trust Winston”

And at the same time, Rowan gets a call. And Zach sounds like he’s running for his life, because Winston cannot talk, let alone sing, and Zach heard them whispering the lyrics to a song he doesn’t know, and ran for it.

So, while they found Rayn, they now don’t know where the real Winston is. And it’s kinda all about not trusting each other but also wanting to stay together because What If Someone Else Gets Taken, and they can’t trust anyone at All because they won’t believe them, and they could be more clones.

Other stuff happens; Ash is going kinda insane, Alex, as the eldest, feels like they have to be the parent of the group because god they’re falling apart and they can’t stand to see it, Zach doesn’t know if the things he’s catching on camera are real or not, and there’s also an almost murder and also arson !! Both by the kids (:

It’s a fun world i like to play around with because the kids dynamics are all super fun <3
