i feel like poolverine easily could’ve been one of those “they’re flirty but it’s mostly unserious” situations, and for most of the movie yeah they were extremely gay, but wade’s been like that with other guys and it was never treated as a serious type of relationship before. they’re willing to die for each other, but even then the romantic aspect of their relationship could be glossed over because it’s a superhero movie, that’s just what they do, and they’re working together to save a whole timeline—it’s not just about them. but then the movie doesn’t end with them saving the day and moving on. i think this’s really the part that sells poolverine as a genuine relationship to me… logan’s leaving, and wade calls for him. he can’t stand to let him go. then he introduces him to his family, and logan stays. he doesn’t really need to stay, but they’ve both decided they’re better off with one another than without

ahhh forgive me if this is a bit clunky! I don't usually do stuff like this but I need to get it out of my brain hah

What they're like kissing you:

Logan is by far the best kisser of the bunch! He starts off a little robotic or unsure, but after a while he starts to experiment, figuring out what you like most and getting good at it.

Prepare to be completely breathless and kiss-drunk and for him to just stand up properly, readjust his tie and go about his day. He's got a schedule to keep, after all.

Patton is a very silly kisser, he likes to press kisses to any and all bare skin (and covered!) he can reach, and will grab hold of you and just smother you in kisses :)

Be wary if he goes anywhere near ticklish spots- he will blow raspberries there

Roman is so dramatic when he kisses you- it's all big gestures, like dipping you or picking you up and pinning you to the wall etc. He kisses you so deeply you could swear you hear a musical crescendo in the distance.

Unless he's feeling more mellow, in which he'll still kiss you deeply, but just...quieter and softer, tipping you up by the chin and just breathing in your space.

Virgil is, obviously, quite a nervous kisser. He'll never settle his hands- he wants to have them all over you at once, on your hips, on your shoulders, clutching your hands to his chest, in your hair, anywhere. He gets flustered quickly too, he'll kiss you deeply and then bury his face in your shoulder (You can feel the heat of his blush even through you clothes) until he can kiss you again.

Oh, and he's a biter. Don't be shocked if you manage to spend some time making out with him and you end up in teeth marks and hickeys (and sore lips)

Remus is...sloppy is probably the best way to describe it. He's passionate and enthusiastic, so much so that your kisses will be all teeth, tongue and spit.

He will also lick you. sorry.

Janus is actually quite the reserved kisser- he's a little embarrassed about his snake mouth when it comes to kissing (He'll never say it out loud.). He does want you to enjoy kissing him as much as possible, so maybe after some snake themed compliments he'll take off his gloves and pull you in by the hips.

Catch him by surprise with chaste kisses as much as you can- he'll make a pleased little rattle/hiss (like a purr?) out of surprise. It's very cute.

General HCs:

Small TW for, minor angst & mention on injury, innuendo and reference to genital piercings on the last one.

Despite being identical, they all actually have very small differences! That being said (and totally making sense)

Logan has the biggest hands- noticeably. Man's hands could wrap around your entire being with ease. ahem sorry. Moving on.

Roman is slightly more muscular (still chubby though. good lord), and has one or two scars he got while in the Imagination and decided to keep!

Janus, obviously, has his scales and his eye. His scales go cross his shoulders, elbows, hips and knees- he's also got a little forked tongue and a glottis under said tongue. (The glottis is what snakes have a the back of their throat- it helps them breathe while swallowing large prey...and in Janus' case-)

Virgil has two tattoos- a ring of thorns around his right finger (Right ring finger for individuality, thorns for hardship and struggle) and an earthworm on his left forearm (Rebirth, especially to do with the life cycle. and he thinks it looks cool. He wanted to get a spider but he didn't want to frighten Patton.)

Patton gets a little cut right under his heart whenever Thomas is genuinely heartbroken- he has a little collection of scars there.

Other than their lobe piercings, Virgil, Janus and Remus all have other piercings!

Virgil has an industrial on his left, his secondaries, and two conches on his right ear.

Janus originally had snake bites (when Thomas was a teen. Janus wasn't always as refined as he is now) and one helix piercing.

Remus' has however many piercings he wants on any given day- he takes them out every night and re-pierces however he sees fit every morning. (This includes his frenum piercing. On his willy. look it up but be warned for penis.)

No but what’s so funny (sad but. Also funny) to me about Kendall and Caroline‘s relationship is that she’s so disinterested in him as a whole, the narrative doesn’t even care to dig into that. We know literally nothing about their relationship, there’s no like. Childhood-moments they bring up, like we get a lot with shiv, nothing about their present relationship like we see with her and Roman. It’s literally just. I remember on one of your posts you mentioned Connor and another one of your OCs blow each other up, and considering the answer to the previous ask, I really wanna know what your other OCs' opinion on it is (Specifically James though lol)?

anon you are spoiling me with these questions i have so much lore just sitting around of these guys and nowhere to put it. i’ve said it before but the best format for this story would be like a 300 chapter graphic novel but i don’t have the time/skill/patience for all that. anywho on to ur question

so yeah connor and anselm (guy with all the facial scars i draw sometimes)(he’s got a lot of his own baggage lol) end up blowing each other up. anselm is a stormtrooper and during the german offensive in 1918 he’s part of a group that storms the boy’s section of trench. while the scots are retreating, connor gets shot through the hip and can’t keep walking. james is with him but had previously been shot through the shoulder and can’t help pull him along. connor insists on staying behind so james and the others have the opportunity to escape danger but james is like hello what the fuck i’m not leaving you here??? they keep arguing about it but eventually james listens and does retreat. connor decides if he’s going to die he’s taking someone out with him - anselm eventually shows up and before he can finish him off, connor blows the both of them up with a grenade he’d kept hidden. and that’s how he goes out!

all of that being said his death is uhhhhhh a really big deal to everyone. connor was a really loud guy and his absence is really noticeable in their lives. hes also the only one of them to actually die during the war. they all have their own reactions and ways of dealing with it but james is definitely the one who takes it hardest haha

so ig peter and connor are the best place to start bc they have known each other for pretty much their entire lives- their moms are very close friends and the two of them are effectively cousins. their relationship is pretty antagonistic growing up, as peter is fundamentally unimpressed by connor’s bravado and connor just really doesn’t respect peter’s leadership (he thinks he could probably do a better job). they butt heads a lot a lot over the years. when connor dies peter is rly shaken up, he figured they would always be in each other’s lives, bickering and spending holidays together. peter’s got a big soft heart and is in disbelief for a while, as annoying as connor he’s supposed to be there. he keeps thinking he sees him out of the corner of his eye, keeps looking over his shoulder, and feels vaguely responsible for his death, since he’s the self appointed guardian of the group. though just as grief is starting to settle in, peter gets his knee thoroughly fucked up/his leg amputated and is sent home, so he has very little time to process connor’s death before he’s dealing with a major health crisis (spoiler alert once he’s home he really does not take either of these well)

for johnny the reaction is dull shock. connor was his self appointed Rival, someone who constantly challenged him and who always pushed him to be better, faster, smarter, and it’s only once he’s gone that johnny realizes how important that was. johnny is a really energetic guy and funneled a lot of that into his rivalry with connor, and without that in his life he is restless, itchy, and irritable. he doesn’t feel grief so much as a deep sense of disappointment; in all, connor’s death is just such a waste of potential. johnny honestly handles it the best, though it’s mainly by throwing himself into the situation at hand and helping james and peter, who are both much worse off than himself. once the war is over and he’s back home, he can’t help but notice how much quieter the world is without connor.

and oh poor james. since he’s physically there when connor decides to sacrifice himself, he is definitely left with a lot of grief and guilt and trauma over the whole thing. he regrets leaving the second he does and only follows through with it because it is connor’s last wish, and he feels he does owe him that. james is in shock for a long time afterwards. it feels like someone tore off a limb. it feels like there’s a part of him that is suddenly empty. it’s a wound that never really heals and one that he can never really talk about. how is he supposed to vocalize what connor meant to him? he can hardly admit to himself that there was something else there beyond friendship, it’s too precious and too delicate and it was theirs, and he couldn’t possibly share that with anyone else. james is left as kind of a shell in the aftermath, very quiet and withdrawn, and sticks very close to peter and johnny. there is just a certain weight that exists in him after connor dies, one that never really eases up and one he can never put down. connor was too important to him, and if he lets go of that sadness he feels as though he lets go of connor himself. james ends up living a long life, he eventually does get married and has children, but often still thinks of the war and what he lost

I get what you’re trying to say and maybe I’m just feeling my age but urgh

1) Logan isn’t his fanbase and I know I’m guilty of that as well but I truly think we all need to learn to differentiate between fanbase and person, like, I haven’t seen the essays and I don’t care to see them but he didn’t write them

2) yes he’s rich. They are all rich. Most athletes at that level grew up privileged. Doesn’t mean he didn’t sacrifice a lot to get where he is

Idk, I guess I’m just over using someone’s fanbase or “he’s rich” to justify hating someone. Just say you don’t like someone so you don’t care that much and move on cause the money and fanbase arguments are NEVER applied to everyone and yes, we’re all biased but why is it so hard to simply say: hey, I don’t care for this driver / person so I don’t feel that much about this situation even though objectively it’s shitty … and move on

It was already late in the evening when Roman heard three careful knocks on the door of his room, followed by an uncharacteristically soft tone of voice calling out to him.

"Roman..? May I come in?” 

It was Logan’s voice, and in response Roman muttered a quick ‘yeah’ without taking his pen off of the paper in front of him. Behind him, the door opened and closed behind him, and the creative side heard soft footsteps coming up behind him, before a hand was placed on his shoulder.

“..you’re tense. How long have you been sitting here?” Logan asked, voice laced with concern.

Roman huffed, not looking up, “Not that long, probably.” he said.

He heard a sigh, and then the sound of Logan grabbing a second chair to sit beside him.

“We both know that isn’t true.”

Not answering again, Roman let the sounds of pen on paper fill the silence as he continued writing. He could feel Logan’s gaze on him, but stubbornly refused to meet his eyes.

When Logan realized he wasn’t getting an answer out of Roman, he continued, “..it’s been hours. Almost a whole day. You haven’t come out of your room once, not even for dinner. And you were like this yesterday too.. and the day before that. I think it’s about time you take a break.” he said, keeping his voice soft.

Roman shook his head, “I can’t, not right now. My writing isn’t finished yet.” he explained, hoping the logical side would leave him alone now, and yet knowing that wasn’t going to happen.

“It doesn’t have to be finished,” Logan said, “You can take a break, and continue after, but you have to stop now. This isn’t healthy for you.”

“..you’re one to talk..” Roman muttered, seeing Logan’s expression turn into a frown from the corner of his eye.

“That is exactly my point, Roman. You remember how I was, locking myself in my room all day. Working on schedules, writing papers, not even noticing how tired I was. You and the others literally dragged me out of my room to talk some sense into me.” Logan recalled. It hadn’t even been that long ago. A year at most. But Logan was proud to say that he’d gotten better at managing when to take breaks.

Roman managed a soft chuckle when he remembered that time, “..yeah.. you were really stubborn.” he said with a small smile.

“Mhm.. and guess what you're being now?” Logan asked, returning the smile, hopeful that Roman would see the similarities between how Logan used to act, and how the creative side was acting now.

Roman’s smile disappeared slowly before he answered, “..stubborn. But.. this is different. I know that if I stop writing now.. I won’t have the motivation to start again, and… I won’t finish this..”

“So?” Logan spoke, his tone almost growing a bit passionate, “So what if you don't finish this? It can’t possibly be more important than your wellbeing. Your work can never be more important than you. That’s what you told me. Don’t tell me you’re going back on your words now..”

Caught off guard, Roman’s writing faltered for just a second, “I-.. no, of course i’m not going back on my words-! I just.. I'm creativity..! If I'm not being creative, then what am I?”

Logan reached forward and cupped Roman’s cheek, “You’re Roman. You’re the charismatic, energetic, and passionate prince we all know and love. So please, put the pen down. Come join me, and we can have some tea, maybe watch a movie, take a break. If you want, I can even help you get back to work later, but right now, you need to listen to me.”

Feeling Logan’s warm hand on his cheek, Roman didn’t have the strength to resist anymore. He was starting to feel how tired he was, how dry his mouth was, and he could hear his stomach growling from hunger, now that he wasn’t ignoring it anymore. He looked away from the paper, and finally met Logan’s eyes, “..okay. I’ll-.... I’ll take a break. Can I just finish writing this paragraph..?” he asked quietly.

Logan nodded, and removed his hand now, “Of course. I’ll wait in the living room for you. Promise me you’ll join?”

“I promise..” Roman agreed, seeing Logan smile a bit, before walking away.

He continued writing for a bit, until the paragraph was done. Part of him wanted to keep writing, but he didn’t want to break his promise to Logan.

So, with a sigh, and after some slight hesitation, he put his pen down, and-
