I'm stuck between interpreting Kalecgos as all knowing and all powerful Aspect, giant building-destroying lizard, awkward gangly lizard, and very small female ginger cat.

IDFK he just seems like a little ball of pure rage sometimes. Like, ya man found out that his ex created a woman who he then fell in love with and his response was to attempt to murder said ex, despite the fact that killing that ex would result in the wrath of that ex's current partner, who could set him on fire.

It's like how my tiny ginger kitty tries to fight our large black cat despite the fact that the black cat's human (not me, lmao, Grace only loves him) will get angry at her.

This makes Khadgar my high anxiety keeshond with no chill who is the real owner of the smol floofball EDIT: RIP Grace (large black cat), we miss you :(

i've been reading this from other fans for a while now and i hadn't paid attention to it because it seemed a bit like nit picking to hate oscar… but it's true that he's unable to acknowledge his teammate work, i'm not saying it's a demand but today it's particularly weird because his teammate was directly involved in his victory by holding back checo, stella acknowledged it, checo himself acknowledged it, it's so hard for him to say something about it? why? i don't think it would seem so weird to me if lando gave him the same treatment, but he only has good words for oscar, he always praises him and acknowledges his work in general.

I for one cannot wait for the Ruby/Mercury rematch where she just eviscerates his cynical let-it-all-burn worldview better than Tyrian did. Something tells me that after the past few volumes, she's going to have precisely zero patience with selfish edgelord bullshit.

The funny thing is that on the one hand, I absolutely agree that Ruby COULD tear Mercury's whole edgy worldview to shreds at this point.

But on the other hand, I feel like at this point Ruby just has WAY bigger fish to fry (Jax, Cinder, Salem, etc) to waste time on Merc.

Mercury is flat-out small potatoes to Ruby right now, and I think it's way more likely that Emerald is going to be the one to deal with him, possibly with some backup from Oscar (to provide helpful advice and giving Merc a 'kid in way over his head' to relate to) and/or Yang (to deliver a helpful and cathartic ass-kicking)
