Tumblr media
In today's fast-paced digital world, mobile commerce is rapidly becoming the cornerstone of successful e-commerce businesses. With an increasing number of consumers shopping via smartphones, having a mobile app for your Shopify store is no longer a luxury—it's a necessity. A mobile app not only enhances the shopping experience but also strengthens customer loyalty and boosts sales. But how do you go about creating an app that not only represents your brand but also delivers a seamless user experience? This is where a Shopify mobile app builder comes into play. This guide will explore how to unlock the full potential of your e-commerce business using a Shopify mobile app builder.
Understanding Shopify Mobile App Builders
What is a Shopify Mobile App Builder?
Definition and Overview
A Shopify mobile app builder is a tool or platform that allows you to create a mobile app for your Shopify store without the need for extensive coding or technical expertise. These builders are designed to integrate seamlessly with your existing Shopify store, enabling you to transform your online shop into a fully functional mobile app.
Benefits of Using a Shopify Mobile App Builder
Cost-Effective: Compared to custom app development, Shopify mobile app builders are a more affordable option, saving both time and money.
Easy to Use: With drag-and-drop functionality and pre-designed templates, these builders make it easy for non-technical users to create a professional-looking app.
Seamless Integration: They integrate directly with your Shopify store, allowing you to sync products, inventory, and orders in real-time.
Key Features of Shopify Mobile App Builders
User-Friendly Interface
Drag-and-Drop Functionality
The drag-and-drop functionality allows you to customize your app’s layout and design easily. This feature is particularly beneficial for users who do not have coding knowledge but want to create a visually appealing app.
Pre-Built Templates
Pre-built templates offer a head start, providing you with a variety of design options that can be customized to match your brand's aesthetics. This helps in speeding up the development process and ensures a professional look for your app.
Real-Time Synchronization
Inventory Management
One of the most significant advantages of a Shopify mobile app builder is its ability to sync with your Shopify store in real time. This ensures that your inventory is always up-to-date, reducing the risk of overselling or stockouts.
Order Management
Real-time synchronization also extends to order management. Orders placed through the mobile app are instantly reflected in your Shopify dashboard, streamlining your operations and providing a seamless experience for your customers.
Customization Options
Branding
Customization options allow you to incorporate your brand's colors, logos, and other elements into the app, ensuring consistency across all platforms. This is crucial for maintaining brand identity and customer loyalty.
Personalization Features
Many Shopify mobile app builders offer personalization features, such as product recommendations based on user behavior. Personalization can significantly enhance the shopping experience, leading to higher conversion rates.
Push Notifications
Engagement
Push notifications are a powerful tool for re-engaging customers. You can use them to notify users about new product launches, special offers, or abandoned cart reminders, encouraging them to return to your app.
Increased Sales
Well-timed push notifications can drive impulse purchases, significantly boosting your sales. They are an effective way to communicate with your customers directly and keep your brand top-of-mind.
Analytics and Reporting
Performance Metrics
Analytics and reporting tools allow you to track the performance of your app, including user behavior, sales, and other key metrics. This data is invaluable for making informed decisions and optimizing your app for better results.
Customer Insights
Understanding your customers' preferences and shopping habits is crucial for tailoring your offerings. The insights gained from analytics can help you refine your marketing strategies and enhance the overall user experience.
Steps to Build a Shopify Mobile App
Choose the Right Shopify Mobile App Builder
Evaluate Features
When selecting a Shopify mobile app builder, evaluate the features offered by different platforms. Look for builders that provide the customization options, integrations, and support you need to create a successful app.
Consider Pricing
Compare the pricing plans of various app builders. While it's important to stay within your budget, also consider the value provided by the builder in terms of features and support.
Customize Your App
Design the Layout
Use the drag-and-drop functionality to design the layout of your app. Ensure that the design is user-friendly and aligns with your brand's identity.
Add Branding Elements
Incorporate your brand's colors, logos, and other elements into the app. This will help in creating a consistent brand experience across all platforms.
Personalize User Experience
Leverage the personalization features offered by the builder to create a tailored shopping experience for your users. This can include product recommendations, personalized notifications, and more.
Integrate Essential Features
Product Catalog Integration
Ensure that your app integrates seamlessly with your Shopify store's product catalog. This will allow you to display your products accurately and update them in real time.
Payment Gateway Integration
Integrate your app with secure payment gateways to provide a smooth checkout experience. Ensure that the payment process is quick, easy, and secure to build trust with your customers.
Test and Launch
Beta Testing
Before launching your app, conduct beta testing to identify any bugs or issues. This will help you refine the app and ensure it provides a seamless user experience.
Gather Feedback
Gather feedback from your beta testers and make necessary adjustments. This will help you launch an app that meets your customers' needs and expectations.
Launch on App Stores
Once you are satisfied with the app, launch it on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Ensure that your app listing is optimized with relevant keywords, descriptions, and visuals to attract downloads.
Strategies for Maximizing Success
Promote Your Mobile App
In-Store Promotion
Promote your app directly on your Shopify store. Use banners, pop-ups, and other promotional tools to encourage your website visitors to download the app.
Email Marketing
Leverage your email marketing campaigns to promote your app. Include download links and highlight the benefits of using the app, such as exclusive discounts or a better shopping experience.
Social Media Promotion
Use your social media platforms to spread the word about your app. Engage with your followers and offer incentives, such as discounts or giveaways, to encourage them to download and use the app.
Monitor and Optimize Performance
Regular Updates
Regularly update your app to fix bugs, add new features, and improve performance. This will keep your app relevant and ensure that it continues to meet your customers' needs.
Analyze User Behavior
Use the analytics tools provided by your Shopify mobile app builder to monitor user behavior. This data can help you identify areas for improvement and optimize your app for better results.
Conclusion
Building a mobile app for your Shopify store using the best no-code mobile app builder is a powerful way to enhance your e-commerce business. By selecting the right platform, customizing your app to reflect your brand, and integrating essential features, you can create a seamless shopping experience for your customers. Additionally, by promoting your app effectively and continuously optimizing its performance, you can drive more engagement, increase sales, and unlock the full potential of your e-commerce business. With the right strategies in place, your Shopify mobile app can become a key driver of success in the competitive world of mobile commerce.

not only langblr music resources
people irl often ask me where the heck i find the music i listen to, so i figured i might as well make a handy resource masterpost!
Radio Garden: Listen to radio stations all over the world. You can save your favourite stations, explore radio playlists, and search for stations in specific countries or cities. Love this one. You can download the app (android and apple) or listen via your preferred browser.
Radiooooo: Lets you choose a country, a decade, and a 'genre' (slow, fast, or weird) to listen to. You can download the app (android and apple) or listen via your preferred browser.
Charts: Charts can be tricky if you're looking for music in a specific language since there are multiple languages present in most country specific charts. It is nevertheless worth checking them out. Top 40 Charts or Popnable are your places to go. Popnable has some additional features like playlists that you can find in the "Discover" section.
beehype: Filter music by continent or country. Main page shows featured articles to browse.
Tunefind: Heard a song in a film or tv show that you enjoy but can't find it in the credits? This is the website for you! I use it when shazam fails me or when I'm at the cinema and can't use it or w/e. The songs sometimes come with a description of the corresponding scene for easy checking. Just very handy to have on hand.
Last.fm: Copy this link template: https://www.last.fm/tag/[nationality]/artists and replace [nationality] with a nationality you want to explore, e.g. "french", "chinese" etc.
Wikipedia: Type into the search bar "music of [country]", e.g. "music of slovakia", "music of botswana" etc.
Local events: Check for concerts etc. in your area. I know this is not an option for everyone for a bunch of reasons, but if it is for you, visiting local concerts can be a gold mine. I got like ten whole new songs in spanish and one in rapanui from one event I went to (it was like a culture fest with singing, dancing, and poetry). Also listening to live music just connects you differently to the art imo.
Friends & Acquaintances: Last but not least; sometimes my nosiness beats my social anxiety and I simply ask people what they like to listen to. If I'm being extra confident, I ask if they listen to music in languages other than english. Go forth and ask people about their music, go go go!!
Spotify specific recs:
Every Noise At Once: Sounds overwhelming - and tbh it can be. For this reason I personally prefer to look at 'Genres by Country', although there are many other interesting playlists to look at, such as 'We Built This City On' or 'The Sounds of Places'. You can find more if you scroll all the way to the bottom. Unfortunately, due to the layoff of the creator of this site, some features are not available anymore. This website is entirely based on Spotify.
Discover Quickly: This one might become a game changer for me personally. How it works: Log in with your spotify account. Choose one of your playlists, saved albums, followed artists etc. All relevant songs will show up as tiny thumbnails. You will hear a sample when hovering over them. Klicking on one of the thumbnails will lead you to the artist's overall releases as well as related artists. You can add your finds directly to a playlist!
LindsayDoesLanguages: Individual language playlists + more
Shameless self promo - my own account with individual language playlists. Also on YouTube !
700+ Languages: A playlist by Matthew Bofenkamp that contains one (1) song per language, and as it says on the tin, Matthew has so far collected songs in over 700 languages. Might be a good starting point for more music in your language of interest! Accompanying g0ogle spreadsheet with youtube links here.
One Song in Every Language: A community playlist by looky_dooky that aims to collect one song in every language. Everyone with a spotify account can contribute.
Another research tip: If you're on desktop, a good way to find language specific playlists is to go to any artist's profile and scroll down to the "Discovered on" section, then click "show all". Voilà!

we're on tumblr again yay✨
Tumblr media
Hey everyone! And welcome to Snoozy Kazoo's first ✨TUMBLR DEVPOST!!✨ We'll be releasing these every month from now on as a way to keep everyone updated on Snoozy Kazoo news!
If you're new here, hi! We’re Snoozy Kazoo, a game dev studio of six guys who make dumb, silly, and fun games. You might know us from the games Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, available HERE and HERE!
Let's get caught up! In this issue we're covering a new mobile release, anniversaries, and... our NEW GAME? 😳😳😳
What's Snoozy been up to?
Ok I know what I said earlier, but let’s be honest: if you’ve stumbled deep into the mines enough to find your way here, you’re surely familiar with our beloved Turnip Boy. We just passed by his anniversary of robbing a bank on January 18th! Aww! They grow up so fast… But it’s a good thing he’s not robbing banks anymore, that’s a crime, you kn-
Aw crud he's doing it on your phone now
Snaps my fingers disappointingly. Aw man. Yerrrrp. Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is now on iOS and Android devices near you. His mindless yet fervent desire to wreck crime upon the world seems insatiable. It’s really unfortunate, except for the fact that it’s honestly really fun watching him go at it.
Tumblr media
The game is available TODAY on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store! Re-experience the game or force your friends to — its fun either way!
Ahhh the beloved Turnip Boy. Surely your next game will be about him right?
Heehee nope!
Excitingly, in November, we announced our next game: Hobnobbers! A co-op mall-looter where you rob malls for your goddess!
youtube
If you haven’t already wishlisted the game yet, well… go wishlist it! Go make your friends wishlist it! Wishlist wishlist wishlist! It really helps us beat the Algorithm Overlords, so literally every single wishlist counts!
I already know about your little crow-gnome mall-looting game you do not shut up about it. What else is new?
We also released a new devlog over on our YouTube! We’ll be releasing one of these every few months, so make sure to subscribe!
youtube
In it, we’ve covered the game’s conception till its early development, which means a lot of concept art. Honestly, let’s toss a little bit more of it over here; it’s always exciting to see behind the curtain!
Tumblr media
Now get ready for... 🥁🥁🥁
Tumblr media
Woah! What’s this little place? Perhaps the chance to get to meet different members of the team and bombard them with questions to foster a parasocial relationship with them? No way!
Introducing… Alexis! Our Unreal Developer!
What are you most excited for in Hobnobbers?
I’m very excited for a lot of different technical aspects and seeing people’s reaction to the game! I want to see all of the systems come together to create a perfect storm of chaos. The randomly generated map ontop the hexes system, with events like Money Storms, Floods, and Fairy Circles of Doom, is going to make each run completely unique and you’ll never know what kind of madness you’re getting into! On launch day I intend to be hopping into games with people (and fixing any bugs that crop up).
What’s something you’ve worked on in Hobnobbers recently that you’ve found particularly frustrating?
The level generation for the mall has been a particular nightmare, but in a very fun way. The mall is generated from bottom-to-top and each floor tells the floor above it about the different combinations of rooms that it can generate. This allows us to have those iconic vertical levels that overlap eachother with walkways above the floors below! This has required a lot of tuning in both making the parts that generate, and how to place them to get results that are always interesting (without bugs). Not only do we have to generate each floor, we also have to generate each store! Accounting for the size and placement of these is a constant challenge when making segments but I made a blender template that speeds it up quite a lot.
What pitch did you end up bringing to the pitch competition?
My pitch was a game about a vampire who was ousted from their castle by another vampire, and is trying to take it back. You would have to sneak back in through various pathways that challenge you in different ways, some would require parkour skills, others would require puzzle solving. And while you’re doing all of this, the AI learns and adapts to your behavior setting traps or blocking off paths in a constant game of cat and mouse. I am still extremely passionate about this idea, and fully intend to pursue it one day!
Awesome! Thank you for your time! 😊
Okie dokie that’s a wrap for now
In future devposts, we’ll be including questions sent in by the community! Feel free to send them in over here on Tumblr, or join our Discord and ask questions in the “ask-the-devs-❓” channel!
See you soon!

Progress update: stuff
I've been pretty quiet lately because I've been slowly working on an android app of my own outside of work. Still a long way to go before it's finished, but baby steps.
It's an app where you can make custom beading patterns easily with mobile UI in mind. The only other one I've seen on the android store was this really old one with only two stars because they hide 90% of the features behind a paywall while calling it a free app.
While I like using the Beadographer website it has its limits and is designed for computers in mind rather than touch screens. Trying to use it on a phone can be a bit annoying.
Right now I have a basic grid set up for square stitch and loom stitch with the ability to select colors, color/clear beads on tap, add rows/columns, and pan/zoom in using two finger touch. I plan on adding more features including the following:
Drag your finger over several beads to color them at once rather than have to tap them individually.
Templates for several styles including peyote, brick, herringbone, right angle weave, different circular peyote stitches, and others.
Auto save patterns in progress.
Can store multiple patterns.
Create and save custom colors to use between projects.
Tools like undo/redo, rotate the canvas, select and drag, color picker, image import, and mirror.
Export patterns as png files.
Available different kinds of beads (toho, miyuki, etc)
I know this isn't most peoples' cup of tea but I'm really excited to try and complete this, and maybe even get it on the app store :D
My biggest worry is how I'm going to handle the circular peyote patterns since they don't conform to grids as easily as other styles would due to increases. The rest seems easy enough albeit long and tedious to develop and test for everything.

The way I'm absorbed into the Star Wars card trading app/game, I find myself wishing there was something similar for Detroit.
Since there isn't, have these from an alternate reality (template from reddit):
Tumblr media
Blue border cards are for androids, red border is for humans. Objects, places and animals, introduced in later packs, get a third color. There's an infamous Alice card with that new third border, a reaction of the publisher to fandom wars over whether Alice should be blue (canon correct) or red (to avoid spoilers).
By the time the third border releases, the old blue and red cards get a slightly new hue, so that the first set would become more sought after by collectors.
The pictures featured on these base cards are usually taken from the ingame gallery, albeit sometimes shown at interesting angles.
Tumblr media
Golden cards feature scenes from the good endings. They are of legendary rarity.
Limited prints of the regular base cards also feature this gold border.
Tumblr media
Quicktime Event and Mind Palace cards are animated (a jump to hyperspace effect and the cube spinning in the background). They are "Super Rare" inserts in the regular packs.
Quicktime features action scenes with any character and have blue borders, regardless of human, android or landscape.
Mind Palace features androids only, and usually uses the character's base card picture.
Tumblr media
And of course there are seasonal editions, that are only available during a certain real life periods, because FOMO. They usually have different pictures than the base cards.
Meanwhile Tears is a new set featuring tragic moments (as opposed of the Golden Ending cards). They are a little more common than Golden Ending.

Obsidian Quickstart Guide: Because the video Tutorials make everything more confusing than it needs to be
Set up three folders, Notes, Templates, Attachments.
Go into the Settings. In Files and Attachments, set the attachments folder to attachments and in Templates, set the Templates folder to Templates.
Make a New Note in the Templates called "General" and put this in it:
Category: Subject:
Your "Category" is going to be either #Notes or #moc, which stands for "map of Content", we'll get into that later. Your "Subject " is going to be the Subject or subjects of the note. Make your Subjects one or two words like "Biology" or "Books". While writing your subject, surround them with double square brackets like [[this]]. This will make them into links to ghost articles. Don't worry about that. Just keep making those subjects and reuse them when relevant. Studying Biology? Your subject like should have [[Biology]] in it. When you write your links, if your subject has already been linked, you can select it in the drop down menu.
Also in your notes, if you see something that is a major subject in your notes, like say, a species or an author, highlight the word and hit the [ button twice to make them into a ghost note too. don't just keep links in your subject line.
Do this for all your notes. If you have a vault for "everything", note down everything and anything following these steps. If you have a vault specifically for one subject, just note down everything for that subject.
Eventually if you look in your graph view you'll see a load of dots representing your articles with lines representing links. The Ghost Notes will be greyed out. Some of the Ghost Notes will be larger than the rest. Once they get big enough, click on one to Make it a normal note.
Write Category: #moc at the top. This will be your map of content.
Download the "AutoMOC" plugin from the community plugins. Once you activate it it should appear in your sidebar.
Go into your freshly made Map of Content, write # Backlinks to make a heading, and then click under it and click AutoMOC. This will link to all the articles linked there. You can also put notes about the Subject the MOC talks about.
If you have more than one device, put your Vault on a Pendrive. Not everyone can afford Obsidian Sync but Obsidian are designed to be all text files to they are ultra-portable. The Pendrive I have is a Dual USB - USB-C drive meaning I can plug it into my phone and access my notes through the Android App, as well as on Windows and Linux, so I can take notes while out and about. It's an Emergent system so go for it.

Web to Mobile: Building Seamless Apps with .NET"
.NET is a effective, flexible, and open-supply developer platform created with the aid of Microsoft. It enables the creation of a huge range of applications—from computing device to cellular, net, cloud, gaming, and IoT. Over the years, .NET has evolved substantially and has become one of the maximum extensively used frameworks inside the software improvement enterprise.
Dot Net Programming Language
Tumblr media
A Brief History of .NET
The .NET Framework become first delivered through Microsoft in the early 2000s. The original cause turned into to offer a steady item-oriented programming surroundings regardless of whether code became stored and finished locally, remotely, or via the internet.
Over time, Microsoft developed .NET right into a cross-platform, open-supply framework. In 2016, Microsoft launched .NET Core, a modular, high-performance, cross-platform implementation of .NET. In 2020, the company unified all its .NET technologies beneath one umbrella with the discharge of .NET five, and later persisted with .NET 6, .NET 7, and past.

.NET 8 (2023): Continued attention on cloud-native, cellular, and web improvement
Advantages of Using .NET
Cross-platform assist – construct as soon as, run everywhere
Large developer network – widespread sources, libraries, and frameworks
Robust tooling – especially with Visual Studio and JetBrains Rider
Active improvement – backed by using Microsoft and open-source community
Challenges and Considerations
Learning curve – particularly for beginners due to its giant atmosphere
Legacy framework – older .NET Framework tasks aren't like minded with .NET Core or more recent variations without migration
Platform differences – sure APIs or libraries might also behave in a different way throughout operating systems
Getting Started with .NET
To begin growing with .NET:
Install the .NET SDK from the legitimate .NET internet site.
Create a new project: Use the dotnet new command or Visual Studio templates.
Write code: Develop your logic the usage of C#, F#, or VB.NET.

@legglesscat Here are the apps I used to create my MCs. I used them on my iPad so I'm not sure if they are available for Android but if not I'd be more than happy to help you find an android equivalent app if need be. Also I didn't pay for anything but these all do have in app purchases. I also downloaded some reference pics off the Internet.
I used this one for tracing and drawing
I used one of the base body models and dress shirt outline from this one
I used this one to color my sketch and add shading/details
I used this one to get rid of the background so I could edit it into the student id
I used this to put my finished MC on the student id card as well as type in the other info on the id card
Also here's the student id card just for convenience
Tumblr media
I hope this helps! And if you have any questions don't hesitate to message me 💛

Curious fan anon here again! I finally had time to read all about the pallid flame and it's got me really intrigued! Thank you for writing about it!
Now for some questions!
What do you most like about the pallid flame yourself? I love that it looks smoke like! And that it seems more based around the nervous system in a way?
Another question! What program/website is it that you write the info sheets in? I may wanna use it too, someday... 👉👈🥹
All these asks keeping me company during vacation T///T thank you so much and welcome back friend! Don't feel in a hurry to consume my stuff, I'll be here anytime 🩵
To answer your question... here's the thing, the ACTUAL n.1 favorite thing about the pallid flame is a huuuuge spoiler but I'll throw some bits of info that can get you a little close.
I didn't include it in the doc as to not cause confusion to the reader, but there are some hints about a certain level of sentience of the flame itself. Like, the fact that it activates the moment it feels its host is in danger: it does it through the five senses, but how does the flame decide if something is a threat or not?
That depends on the skill level of the host. As a result, that means the flame is somehow able to judge whether the threat is something worth its activation, or in other words, if the threat level surpasses the host's level of combat skills.
So the flame can judge outside stimuli and put them in perspective with its host's capabilities. Can it do anything else on its own? Well, the Failsafe System is a thing. The Flame takes over the nervous system and gives the body a directive to follow: save yourself at all costs. It does as soon as consciousness leaves the mind. Is it a natural reaction to the body being in danger, or something more intentional? After all, it can't survive without its host.
It's not a Dying Will. It's an order.
All of this will be explained in the story, if you have the patience to wait for it to be revealed 😖 other than that, I agree with you on the fact that the Pallid Flame being related to the body more than the mind (as it's the case for the Dying Will flame). The way it flows inside the user to make themselves a weapon instead of being a weapon! This is no way a diss to canon - I love canon to bits, and I like to adhere to it as much as possible.
Tackling the second question, it's called Notion and it's free! It's a very customizable app that you can use for a great number of things, from organising your writing to taking notes to planning blog posts. You can use it through multiple platforms, both pc and on android, and your content is always accessible since it's saved in your accounts database.
Specifically, for both my character sheet and my info sheet I use a template called Atlas that you can download from Notion's site. There are lots of useful free templates to browse from, but I found Atlas to be the perfect mix between easy to use and nice-looking.
If you need help with setting it up, feel free to hit me up, even if it's with a burner account I won't mind! I found it not that hard to use but do let me know if I can be of help.
As always, thank you for passing by! It's always a pleasure 🩵🩵🩵 writing that info sheet was a pleasure and it helped me immensely as well!

Updates
🌟 Neu
Du kannst jetzt WebP-Bilder in Einträgen hochladen.
