What if the SOLDIER treatments had the incredibly rare side effect of forcing a second puberty? (Not like A/B/O, just regular puberty.) And of course Cloud gets it, but the result is that he kissed AGSZ goodbye still a spiky-haired runt, but two weeks later he walks out of the science department looking like the cover of a romance novel - a foot taller, long flowing blond hair and built like a brick shithouse. How would the boys react?

Angeal: Oh my little bird, I missed you so much! *Tries to sweep him off his feet and lift him to Angeal's lips*

Cloud only goes up a couple centimeters and is right at kissing height already, so of course they take the next logical step and make out.

Zack: MY TURN MINE MY TURN ME ME ME *tries to pull Cloud out of Angeal's arms into his own, it's like trying to move a warm statue* GRUNT! Oof, uh, Cloud, little help?

Cloud graciously lets go of Angeal and lets Zack glomping him, accidentally getting slobbery kisses all over his chest and shoulders because Zack miscalculated at first. Neither of them mind, and Zack is beginning to ✨explore✨ that fancy new chest when Genesis shoves him aside.

Genesis: *trying really, REALLY hard to look down at Cloud like he's used to* Ah, my darling little sunflower, come give your hero a kiss.

Cloud: *bends his knees a little so he can come up from below and preserve Gen's ego. Nevermind that Genesis is wearing heels and Cloud's not even in shoes.*

Sephiroth: Cloud, why are you crouching? You are taller than Genesis now, you can kiss him from above.

Everyone freezes.

Genesis: 💢💢💢

Cloud: Sephiroth, you should probably run now.

Sephiroth, being chased by Genesis:

They all secretly miss their little boyfriend's body which was so easy to throw around, and they miss the thrill of being hauled over the shoulder of a tiny chocobo-styled young man, but they love Cloud's new hair too (still somehow spiky as hell at the ends) and like that he can now bodily throw them around instead of just lifting and carrying them.

Zack especially gets a huge kick out of them all playing keep away with himself as the ball. There's a fierce rivalry between Team Sefikura and Team GenGeal because Sefikura are the strongest, but GenGeal have really good coordination.

Fun Seph Things

-One time Genesis brought some takeout to HQ and Sephiroth discovered ramen for the first time. He then developed a bad habit of surviving on it like a uni student if Angeal didn’t scold him/make something better or if he didn’t have an R&D check-up looming. It was either packs of endless ramen or SOLDIER cafeteria food and he chose the ramen every time. He said it combined pasta and soup, so what was not to like? :D

-Seph had a little pocket telescope that Genesis gave him. He brought it with him on missions to Wutai and always whipped it out at night when they were camping. A small joy.

-Seph secretly has a beautiful, bass voice when singing, but he refuses to nurture the gift because “that is not essential to my mission.”

-The first time Sephiroth yawned in front of Angeal and Genesis, Genesis burst out laughing because it looked like this, fangs and all. (His model does seem to have tiny fangs lolol).

-Sephiroth and Angeal snuck out one time to the Wall Market because Angeal wanted Sephiroth to experience thrifting.

It resulted in Seph trying to develop his fashion taste, but the problem was that he kept picking up dark colors, black leather, harnesses, belts, crop tops, chokers, and knee-high boots.

His genuine reasoning was “Black suits me, less coverage means easier maneuverability, and the rest is simple military fashion.”

Angeal stayed quiet but was having a parental, mental breakdown.

-Sephiroth grew up inside Shinra HQ, so he knows the building a little too well. Sneaking into the training room was actually his idea, because he knew exactly when the Seconds would be scheduled to train. He also knows countless secret places in the building that he showed Genesis and Angeal. Usually, they were quiet, undisturbed spots with beautiful window views where one could hide from a prowling Hojo.

-Sephiroth hung out in Lazard’s office a lot because he wouldn’t be pestered there by the other department heads or researchers. He played cards with Lazard a couple of times when things were less busy. Lazard always liked how chill and quiet he was.

-Sephiroth has been caught sleeping halfway hanging over a stair railing more than once.

-Seph can cross his eyes but in opposite directions and it scares the shit out of people.

-Sephiroth’s favorite training sim locations were the ones with beautiful views and warm sunlight/starlight. He loved looking out over the sunset sea in Junon, the starry skies above Cosmo Canyon, and the midday greenery of the Grasslands. Angeal and Genesis always, without fail, agreed to whatever he requested.

-Sephiroth got into a habit of texting Angeal and Genesis almost every night when it was time to retire and sleep. His texts were very simple, but he liked to tell them goodnight and to rest well as often as possible.

I became fixated on Sephiorth’s hair while doing my own. Will you share your Sephiorth hair headcanons with me?

When he was young and in the labs, Sephiroth had no say over his hair. Hojo always made sure it was kept cut short, if not entirely shaved, for convenience—he didn’t want to have to be constantly moving it away while he was operating/working and constantly be having to clean up shed strands of it.

Closer to the time of First Soldier, Hojo is ordered to ensure it grows out a little, so he’ll look better for PR. Sephiroth accepts the change as neutrally as every other thing out of his control in his life at first, but upon further inspection of his emotions he finds that he very much likes it. It’s so soft, softer than anything he’s felt before, and the color—he loves the color! It’s like the moon, or the seemingly wondrously infinite amount of stars that hang in the sky above Rhadore, where he sees them first. Lucia even remarks one time that his bangs make him look like his mother. He could have died right there with delight.

He starts letting it grow even longer—he likes how it looks, and the longer it is the more he is reminded that he is not as controlled by Hojo anymore. It’s a little act of defiance made physical, him making a choice for himself. Genesis and Angeal encourage this greatly once they discover at least the ‘making a choice for himself’ part, even if he doesn’t let them in on the true depth of Hojo’s cruelty. He keeps growing it longer and longer because, well…

Genesis continued to hold his hair back, running his hands through it soothingly ever so often, as Sephiroth alternated between breathing unevenly over the toilet and nearly turning his insides inside-out. At some point, Genesis began braiding the strands together, murmuring something Sephiroth didn’t have the presence of mind to decipher. The fingers against his scalp felt wonderful. He resolved never to cut his hair again if its longer length encouraged this sort of attention.

Because he is a cat begging for attention by putting himself noticeably in the way. He also discovers that he can tilt his head to hide his face behind his longer bangs when he wants to, giving him slightly more privacy than previously—and he’ll take all he can get. Also, he looked in the mirror once while tying up his hair and jumped a little because the face staring back at him was his mother’s. Slightly different in the details, sure, but he looked so much like her. That was one of the rare times he found himself crying.

He is allowed to keep his hair at its longer length because the public seems to love it, and also it opens up plenty of marketing deals with hair product companies. Sephiroth dislikes the further press, but he tolerates it because it ensures Hojo is not allowed to take away something Sephiroth has become so attached to. Plus, he’s good enough at fighting now that it doesn’t post too much of a risk in combat—he moves too quickly for any opponent to have the chance to grab onto it, and even if they did they would soon find themselves lacking a hand or two. It’s more than worth the slight risk, he thinks.

Genesis and Angeal are the only people he allows to touch his hair (since team Glenn is long gone…Zack eventually earns the privilege, but only after he calms down). Actually, it’s strange…when anyone else tries to touch it, even when Sephiroth is facing away and seemingly unaware, his hair seems to move out of the way of whatever creepy fan is trying to lay hands on it. Like a breeze brushed it aside at just the right time, except…the wind that day was pretty much nonexistent? And blowing the other direction whenever it did exist? Weird. Almost as if it moved by itself.

Genesis used to have long hair, and he secretly misses it a little. Not enough to grow it back, but he does. He loves playing with/taking care of Seph’s partially because of this, and Sephiroth happily obliges him. He practically melts when he gets his hair brushed (does he purr? Probably), and Genesis is wonderfully skilled at complicated braids. The more bored and/or sentimental Genesis is feeling, the more braids appear in Sephiroth’s hair.

Since he helps Sephiroth with his hair so much, Genesis has discovered some…rather odd things about it. It’s unnaturally shiny, sometimes seeming to keep its silvery glow even for a few minutes after Sephiroth has come away from a light source, especially that of the stars/moon. It doesn’t glow quite as bright as his eyes, but it’s still noticeable to the enhanced eye. It is also noticeably harder to cut than normal human hair—it’s more like clipping fingernails to trim the ends of his hair.

His hair seems grey more often than silver after Genesis leaves. It’s messy and unkempt. He finds he has much less energy to take care of it when every brush of his own hair reminds him of what he’s lost.

After Nibelheim, his hair takes on an almost purplish-grey sheen, marking him even more with Jenova’s heritage. The moving on its own thing happens much more often and noticeably now—it sways dramatically when there is no breeze, and curls towards Cloud as if it were threatening to wrap around him.

I agree and hope at some point in his life either Genesis or Angeal were able to physically save Sephiroth’s ass from something for once because I can imagine him being all ‼️‼️😦 and feeling secretly warm and fuzzy over the sensation of being protected for once in his life.

One day, Hojo is just too rough with Sephiroth in the lab during what was supposed to have been a routine examination. Instead, Hojo turns it into a three hour torture session and Sephiroth is physically and emotionally exhausted, barely able to move, trapped on the operating table while still semi-conscious.

Whereupon Genesis and Angeal, having suspected foul play and were waiting outside for hours, barge in to collect him. Angeal gently scoops Sephiroth up in his arms while Genesis threatens Hojo's life if he ever does something like this ever again. They carry Sephiroth back to a warm dark place at one of their apartments and bundle him up, assuring him that he's going to be okay and that they're not going to hurt him. Sephiroth can only curl bonelessly beneath the sheets, wiped out, only just barely aware of their gentle whispers above them. But he does know that he IS safe here and that the nightmare is over (for now). He manages to curl closer to them before finally passing out, wishing that he could die here with them close to him. It would be a good way to go.

Here have some pre insanity -completely drop kicks canon- headcanons for Sephiroth (because playing crisis core broke my heart and I’m scared of ever crisis.)

Young Sephiroth didn’t like having his hair brushed -especially by Hojo. He would scream bloody murder at any lab-techs that tried. In the end -because he got so strong and could actually hurt people when he got distressed- they left him to do it himself. This ended up in Sephiroth having to have his hair cut short at age 11 because he didn’t know how to brush it properly and was just causing a Matt under the top layer of hair.

Carrying on from this, as an adult the only person who has ever been able to brush Sephiroth’s is Cloud, because he’s so gentle and patient as he brushes out the knots that it doesn’t make Sephiroth feel like his scalps on fire.

Genesis is however the one who taught Sephiroth how to brush long hair properly.

Sephiroth can’t mix foods on his fork. He eats one thing at a time in a specific order and if he deviates from the order it ruins his enjoyment of the meal. With pasta dishes he will eat the pasta, then the meat/whatever it’s mixed with. He’s never outwardly complained or made a big deal, but Angeal has picked up on his distress a couple of times and now specifically plans meals accordingly.

My poor boy doesn’t do public speaking or reading out loud. His natural speech is soft spoken and full of crutch vocalisations. He can read about a 100 words per minute and can memorise whole books like a pro, but he lacks the actual ability to deliver vocally. It’s why Angeal usually handles public relations and motivating troops. Seph can relay battle plans swiftly and efficiently but he stumbles with knowing the right words to rally the troops.

His natural relaxed pose is having his foot hooked around the other ankle, with his arms behind his back and hands holding his elbows. Only his partners know this to be his true relaxed pose. It means he’s vulnerable enough to look soft and approachable with them.

He used to be secretly jealous of Gen’s childhood stuffed toy. It sits on the redheads bed and Seph started dropping it into his own laps when he sat on the bed. Genesis noticed this and took Seph on a date with Zack to pick out a stuffed animal he liked. Seph bitches that he’s not a child and that it’s embarrassing until he sees a silver jointed teddy in a hospital gown. It’s part of a collection where the money goes to under plate kids hospitals, and there’s something so familiar about the bear that Sephiroth starts crying. Gen buys it for him and it sits on Sephs bed or in his lap when he’s feeling fragile.

He doesn’t have a favourite partner. He loves Zack because the boy is cuddly and infectiously happy; He loves Gen because he’s deceptively kind but he can rely on him not to bullshit him when there’s a problem; he loves Geal because he’s so solid and allows Seph to lean on him in a way that Sephiroth has never had; he loves Cloud because he’s a spitfire with a heart of gold who’s not willing to back down just because someone’s bigger than him. He loves them so much some days he feels like he might actually die from it.

I have more but this feels like a good place to stop. I dunno man, Sephiroth is so multifaceted and sometimes I just like to think about the stuff that makes him human, ya know?

Writing postcards adorned with lipstick; you’re my hero! They all would say, succor to create a balm against the sorrow of Midgar. A top ranking fan to high acclaimed SOLDIERS & the pillar of Sector 6. She knew everything, everyone, but a cunning girl was one who played with fire. In the midst of her arrogance, she was found by Shinra, granted a choice - give up these childish games & bid farewell to a life that offered her little. In the frenzy to protect those around her, she cloaked herself in the shadows, where the whispers began to rise - where was the small nymph in her torn lilac dress? Shimmering like scales. A Turk they would now call her, gone were the days of being everyone’s friend, now was the eras of shadows & espionage. 

MISC INFORMATION: 

Sayuri is of Wutai origins, the dialect she speaks primarily is what we would equate to the Kansai region. She was born in Sector 6 while secretly taught the devotion of Leviathan, her native tongue, along with former customs. If one speaks to her in the same regional dialect, she will often have a clear, lyrical like prose, different from her common tongue that is heavily accented & referred to as sharper.

She was once a part of Angeal Hewley’s Fan Club, writing to him frequently with promises to always watch the progression of his time as a SOLDIER, she was constantly cheering him on. Angeal embodied the virtues that Sayuri loved, she viewed him solely in the light of heroism or an idol. This ties into her innocence as a young woman, she sees him never in a romantic light but one who inspires hope where she often felt powerless in her station. Later, during the events of VII, it is seen in her hang out region she would often pen Genesis & Sephiroth as well to not exclude them.

You will never know her name, not even the rest of Shinra does, they know her merely as Alice. The alias she picked after her recruitment to play on the moniker’s of Alice in Wonderland. 

Her hang out location is located second to left of the Honeybee Inn, the contents one can find are spare materia, an idol of Levithan, raspberry pink lipstick & Sayuri's old lilac dress she once adored. There is a tin can full of letters written to the more famous SOLDIERS that she kept with photographs of her twin, all indicating a life prior to vanishing.

THIS IS PRIMARILY REMAKE ADJACENT; Sayuri once vocalized to those close to her she dreamed of becoming a dancer for the production of Loveless. If it’s the OG variation, she can recite the poem by heart & laugh, there was a time she would have enjoyed writing a sequel to something so cryptically beautiful.

Her moniker of gone girl is to play on who she is then versus who she is now. Regaled as without a heart as she often handles Shinra’s blackmail & espionage, hence her uniform as a Turk is tailored to show she rarely leaves HQ unless it is needed. Short skirt, dagger heels, a pristine jacket with her diamond necklace & mean sneer to match.

Primarily a marksman, whenever she has time off one can find her at the firing range or some trendy cafe trying to soothe her mind. 

There is no rationalizing or guilting her, she believes the woman she once was is long gone. In return, she has accepted the ire, stigma, along with views others have of her. They in her mind do not need explanation into her reason for accepting the offer to be recruited. That was her lifeline, Sayuri knew if she did not take it, the punishment would greatly put those she loved at risk while taking her own life. 

The Kids Are Alright verse is available upon request, primarily, this verse centers around Remake & Rebirth but is fine with the OG. Please do not make a big fuss about it, both are wonderful.

i dont think any of them are cool or sexy. i think theyre all teens-20somethings from the early 2000s with little to no emotional intelligence. kadaj bites and spits at people, yazoo has a hyena shriek laugh that genuinely scares everyone nearby, loz has a perpetual sniffle that cant be blown out no matter how hard he tries. they all listen to the gaian equivalent to tool. in my post-ac universe they squat in abandoned parking lots and apartments and constantly smell bad. they steal from local businesses daily. they love each other they kick the shit out of each other they would strangle each other in their sleep theyre all they have.

i dont think theyre in any way connected to the first class trio. if any of them met genesis or angeal theyd laugh in their faces. theyre sephiroth's shitty tulpas that werent expected to live more than 3 weeks. they're the defaced spirits of some dead kids no one cared about that were dug up and reanimated by the Sludgiroth. theyre each individually sephiroth, theyre sephiroth's headmates who escaped containment, theyre sephiroth's children, and they also would shoot sephiroth point blank if they could figure out how to get her to exist at the same time as them. all of this is entangled in my interpretation of them -- these are not separate instances of how they could exist, the remnants of sephiroth are all of these at once.

i am once again reminding the world that kadaj was originally supposed to be like 14 and they aged him up and subsequently nerfed him for the fucking movie and thats a crying shame. i guess i get why but its still sad. he was way funnier when he was a self centered middle schooler who could shapeshift and blow up helicopters with his mind powers. loz and yazoo are twins but loz is older by .3 zeptoseconds and he wont shut the fuck up about it. theyre both 22 at the very oldest. i cant really nail down a cohesive age for them. older than 18 younger than 23 (cloud's age in ac). specifically loz and yazoo have straight up telepathy between each other.

loz is my favorite to think about. when he sneezes he discharges electricity like a cartoon character. he likes dogs and a bunch of strays know where to find him for feeding times no matter where he's hiding that day. he's a wall puncher. he thinks he receives the least Hauntings from sephiroth but in actuality hes just got really good at ignoring whatever the fuuuuuuck is going on with that. hes not stupid hes not a himbo hes fucking autistic. he stole a catalytic converter once, went to jail and then turned into a haze of black smoke in front of everybody in the holding cell. everyone's reaction was "ah. this fucking bullshit again". sure, yeah, hes a secretly big softie but also has thrown people through brick walls. constantly uses the excuse "im just playing" after absolutely obliterating someone. the only way he can sleep is with the knowledge that yazoo is awake.

yazoo cannot go outside without being covered neck to toe. she wears gloves year round, inside and outside. if you tried to have a staring contest with her your eyes would shrivel up in your skull from dehydration before she would blink. she brushes her hair in exactly 153 strokes every day and night. she could tell you how to take apart and reassemble any shinra-issued firearm between the years 1970-1997. she's on the somethingawful forums. her contact picture in her brothers' phones is an anime cat girl surrounded by assorted ballistic and chemical weapons. she actually does have really shitty aim. like really bad its quite funny. any time she's hit something its been a stroke of pure luck. she's nocturnal actually. not a "night person" just straight up biologically encoded to be nocturnal like some sort of opossum or raccoon.

kadaj has 0 chill he will say anything that comes into his mind. its quite stunning. he goes on manic tirades about how nothing matters and how one day hes gonna kill everyone and then yazoo brings home his favorite muffin from a stall at the market and he evens out for a little. he does sermons for the gaggle of street urchins he orders around. he knows the most about the whole jenova-sephiroth connection thing and is mad about it. he stalks rufus shinra for years and has made the turks skitter off like mice just by looking at them. chronologically hes the oldest remnant (existed for several weeks-months prior to loz & yazoo) but bodily & behaviorally he's the youngest. needs constant monitoring lest he wanders into oncoming traffic while following the voice of god. the only way he can sleep is on top of one of his siblings.

Outlaw Biker AU Thought/Scenario

(Based on the proposal here and the poll done by @rottenpumpkin13) A rough headcanon outline of how I think a bank heist would go with the five SOLDIER boyos and their darling. Bunch of rambling rubberish under the cut. Read the proposal for context.

The One Winged Angels MC found themselves in a dire situation when their Club Founder, Rufus, was found guilty of money laundering and other charges, resulting in a severe lack of funds and the MC losing its defense from police interference.

Rufus was sentenced to several years in prison. Who knows if he'd ever be a free man again. At least he didn't sell out the MC.

As a result, Vice President Genesis has successfully talked the morally upright Angeal into conducting a heist on a grand bank in Midgar.

Going on the job with them will be Cloud, Zack, Sephiroth and The Darling. It will be a stealth heist and will be done with the utmost caution to ensure minimal attention, as it has to be done in broad daylight. There shouldn't be too many people at the bank on that specific day, anyway.

During the heist, things were going well at first. Alarms in the bank were secretly disabled before the arrival of the crew.

Darling and Zack worked together to soothe Cloud's worries, since it was his first big score. It's a bit much for a newbie like him, but he's gotta learn one day, right?

The crew was forced to make themselves known when a security guard got snippy with Genesis and got on his nerves. So the stealth heist became a loud one.

Angeal, Genesis and Sephiroth sought the money and jewels from the most secure vaults in the lower levels of the bank, eliminating any resisting guards along the way. Meanwhile, Cloud, Zack and Darling were tasked with controlling the crowd, with Darling acting as the lookout for police.

Things took a turn for the worse when Zack became overly friendly with his captives on one side of the room, and Cloud was increasingly uneasy with even the smallest of movements from his captives on his side.

Meanwhile, some guards fighting three boys in the vaults surrendered to them, but Genesis ends up killing them anyway because they recognized his identity.

He and Angeal argued vehemently, and Sephiroth barely noticed it, as his attention was solely on the mission.

On the ground level, Cloud and Zack became too distracted. Which lead to the hostages calling the cops, who arrived at the scene shortly thereafter.

Angeal, Genesis, and Sephiroth rushed out of the vaults to the sounds of shouting, screaming and clashing weapons, as their younger peers fought off the police.

Upon the darling being shot by a policeman, thus her sustaining a severe injury, the situation became grave for the crew members.

Cloud's rage boiled over when he saw the state of the darling, his thoughts turning to the time Tifa was wounded in a shooting that happened in their village. The other boys soon joined him, their rage contained, but just as menacing.

Zack was able to calm him down and eventually the crew were successful in creating a passageway and escaping.

The score resulted in a success. The darling, although she needed to recover in bed for a while, ended up being fine.

While the darling was recovering, the five boys were especially attentive, constantly checking on her and tending to her needs.

Zack coming by to tell her of all of his dreams and jokes from his runs that day. And he would assist in her physical therapy by having her do squats with him.

Angeal pulling up a chair to her bed, so they can vent to each other; mostly them having good laughs over their woes of having to babysit a club full of hot-blooded idiots.

Genesis and her eagerly watching through several seasons of the LOVELESS tv show based on the play. It's so bad that they hate it but think it's funny to watch it to tear it apart.

Sephiroth coming by to simply hear her voice and get cuddles maybe. Many times, they shared a quiet moment of affection, the only sound being the beating of their hearts.

Cloud showed his face around the darling of the least; He still asks about her and brings her stuff if others can't. He felt a deep pang of shame for not being able to protect her and for almost ruining the score.

Darling would have to ask him to come to her. She would comfort him during their conversations, letting him know it wasn't his fault that she got shot and that his impressive skills had saved her life, actually.

Despite the lingering uncertainty in his mind, Cloud was deeply moved by the darling's tenderness and reassuring words, and he vowed to never stop giving the scores his all.

You don't mess with anyone in the MC. You especially don't mess with The Darling (for obv reasons) and Cloud (Because he is a precious newbie baby that needs lots of love and reassurance).

- Cloud and Sephiroth are obviously, as the fic goes, anomalies into SCP containment. Other bad and naughty anomalies sitting in containment are Genesis (former SCP agent, gained some anomalous powers, immediately started making trouble for everyone) and Angeal (in the same team as Genesis, got the same powers, was actually well behaved but they didn’t want to risk it)

- Extra naughty anomalies who are in containment are Vincent (they had him but he breached containment), Nanaki (lives in a nexus), and Cait (what the fuck is that thing - SCP agents who just got owned by an animatronic cat)

- Zack and Tifa are both MTF agents and both have their issues with the Foundation but they also both don’t know if they could leave

- Aerith is a Serpent’s Hand member and possible anomaly herself. She also needs to stop playing with these random artifacts she finds lying around oh my god why does she have a Daeva weapon-

- Barret is also in the Serpent’s Hand but originally started out as a GOC member before deciding the GOC sucked. He tries very hard to make up for his past mistakes and as a result can be a bit of an extremist by Hand’s standards

- Reeve is officially in the Foundation’s Ethics Committee. He is also secretly a follower of the Church of the Broken God (Church of Maxwellism branch). No affiliation with mechanical cats on the loose, none at all

- Cid is also with the Church of the Broken God, but he’s one of the Broken Church

- Yuffie is with Gamers Against Weed because. She would. She would do that

A woman named Dr Anneta created what would become known as Project Eve and Adam, a project that would create Jenova's first children entirely rather than being equal to Projects S and G

the goal of this project was to create a boy and a girl that would be made entirely with jenova cells to create a new secret military organization

They would have a rapid growth process that would stop until adulthood, advanced intelligence, more resistant, more agility, stronger, with the ability to reproduce and they would be much easier to control joining this with Jenova's powers

And so Adam and Eve are born

Until one moment, Dr Anneta starts to developed an affection to the children and raises them as if they were her own children and begins to realize that it was a mistake to work at Shinra

But soon he gets the news that his project had failed because they hadn't developed jenova powers and were starting to show rebelliousness by attacking the other scientists

So with the help of Reeve (who had also developed a fondness for the kids) and Domino to secretly send the kids somewhere else, promising them that one day they would end up with Shinra and that they would be reunited.

Eve was sent to Gongada where she was found by Clarice Florence, Eve couldn't tell where she came from and starts to be friends with Zack Fair, but a week after being found, while they were playing she falls out of a tree and hits her head like this causing her to lose her memory and her eyes and hair start to change color

Not knowing her name, Clarice gives her the name Jullie and now Jullie believes that Clarice is her grandmother and that her parents died before she could meet them and she starts to develop certain skills that would not be normal for a child

years pass and at 12 she had to say goodbye to Zack because he would now become a SOLDIER

she and Clarice move to Midgar to expand the sale of dresses made by Clarice herself.

She starts getting into some fights and wins them all, then she ends up being noticed by the Turks and after a week of being watched because she was always winning, she gets a visit from Tseng so she can become a SOLDIER.

She accepts because she remembers that Zack is there too.

During her time there she was always joined by Zack, Kunsel and her three mentors, Angeal, Genesis and Sephiroth

at the age of 15, she begins to live the events of Crisis Core

In addition to starting to develop his powers and having nightmares about Jenova and the past

getting sad without hearing from Genesis and Angeal, after finding out about the truth about both of them she starts to feel strange as if it was kind of familiar

She also starts to befriend Aerith helping her and Zack with their relationship

after Angeal's death, she and Zack bond even more trying to overcome grief together.

So at 17-18 years old now as a SOLDIER 1st Class she starts to be friends with Cloud and some Turks, mainly with Cissnei 

Jullie starts to get more rebellious and disobeys some orders

In that she meets Cait Sith, and when that happens she starts having headaches because Cait Sith has known her since she was still Eve

Then she starts asking him a bunch of questions about Shinra and SOLDIER

Cait Sith says some answers she'll have to look for on her own

During these days she meets Brendan who is Cid's adopted son who is helping him in the Shinra rocket project

She sometimes talks to him but he seemed worried and nervous to be there talking to and sometimes she happened to read his mind and he did the same

and sometimes she sees him talking to Cait Sith and Reeve with Dr Anneta

Jullie does not participate in the mission in Nibelheim

But she seeks to know more about Shinra and takes care of Aerith while Zack is gone and that makes them even closer

One day Cait Sith introduces Dr Anneta to Jullie and she tells about her story from her childhood to that moment and Anneta starts to think it's strange that because she wasn't like a normal one and wants Jullie to go talk to her at least once a day because she wants to find out a few things because it looked a bit familiar

Until during her fight against Genesis Jullie she finally fully awakens her Jenova powers along with a white wing

Genesis is scared and Jullie even more and she beats Genesis who ends up escaping.

She goes to Dra Anneta hidden and after saying what had happened she decides to say who Jullie really is and the truth about Shinra, Jenova, SOLDERs and Nibelheim Incident

So she does the unimaginablet, Jullie rips her wing off

then she sees Lazard becoming a copy of Angeal so she runs off with him and tries to take care of him in Gongaga without anyone knowing

after a long time she starts to have a relationship with him, but Lazard can't because he has the memories of Angeal who saw Jullie as if she were his daughter

When the Turks go to Gongaga to find Zack, she discovers that he is still alive and starts hanging out on the outskirts of town to find him

When they finally meet again they are very happy and tell a little about everything that happened but it doesn't last long when Genesis and Hollander show up

After Jullie tells the whole truth about her being a Shinra experiment, Zack is confused as to why he didn't expect his childhood friend to be another one of the experiments

but she asks to trust her because she remains the same Jullie as before

she decides to help Zack to defeat Genesis but Zack says she can help by taking care of Cloud along with Lazard

after the battle Zack asks her to go to Midgar because he will also be there along with Cloud and they would become mercenaries

even though she tells them to stay together he insists that she doesn't go along with them because he wanted her to be safe

so she obeys him and goes to Midgar and waits for them

At 22-23 years old she sees Cloud again with the Buster Sword so she breaks down in tears because that meant Zack would be dead

but she won't talk to him because he might not recognize her because she was different now

One night she has a vision of Sephiroth and the meteor falling in Midgar she feels that Sephiroth is alive

after a long time thinking she also decides to help Cloud, but without telling who she is

she also goes in order to find Brendan again as she wants to ask him some questions

This is how Jullie's adventure begins

1. Zack is panicking because the General and Cloud are both missing.

If he had searched a bit more thoroughly he would find both under the desk.

...as very annoyed frogs.

They have to get creative and work together to escape the room and survive the dangers of the Shinra tower. Will they be able to make it to the materia floor in time to cast an ensuna? Or will Zacks broken Frog meteria doom them to a life of water and lillypads?

2. Genesis keeps trying to baby Cloud, that is, until Cloud pounces on the red head and pins him onto his back with a smug smirk on his face.

4. Cloud lands in an alternate universe version of CC were everyone and everything is gender bent.

5. Scientists have captured both Sephiroth and Cloud post DoC and often place them into the same containment chamber together in hopes of fostering a healthier relationship between the two. They always wind up separating them after a while, but it serves as endless amusement to the former general.

6. There were other projects and human expirements that were freed after the DeepGround incident.

Sephiroth, being the big dumb cat he is, stood there and blocked the attack with his sword while his pupils did the big expanding thing.

Cloud, who is not a cat person, googled what this meant later on...afterwords he was careful to keep a certain distance away from the former General at all times.

9. Sephiroth is the son of an evil goddess that was killed by the a powerful sorcerer king. He swore vengeance against the royal line that slew his dear mother and the country under thier reign.

He had slaughtered the new king and queen, along most of the court. That left only the prince.

He entered the princes chamber, but when he laid eyes upon the blond beauty he was stunned. There he stood, shaking with a short sword held tightly in his grasp, a feeble spell ready to be launched from his free hand.

He decided at that moment, that he would take a trophy.

10. Sephiroth had lost his fiance, Cloud, last year to an assassination plotted by Wutai, and he was still not even remotely okay.

The blond had pushed him out of the way, taking the blade that was meant for him. He died instantly, and Sephiroth never even got to say goodbye.

He gripped the forbidden spellbook in his hand and began the ominous chant.

At first glance, it seemed to have worked, but this Cloud was not his Cloud. He was cold to him and attempted to flee many times, despite being bound to the magic circle he was summoned in. But try as he may, he could not get the spell to function a second time.

The silverette was just so desperate to have any piece of Cloud in his life that he begged the man to stay. He literally fell to his knees and begged.

The blond was too shocked to do anything other than nod and say, "...okay."

They both felt a sudden rush of magic as a deal was sealed.

Cloud could no longer leave Sephiroths side.

Aka a grieving Sephiroth accedently summons AC Cloud and binds him to a contract where he's forced to stay within two meters/ six feet of the silverette at all times.

Edit: I just realized this could work with RM Cloud too!

11. Au where Sephiroth died and was labeled MIA and his lover, Cloud, waited for him every single day. He never lost hope, so when a Sephiroth from another dimention appears Cloud doesn't hesitate to grab his hand and drag him home, proclaiming how worried he was.

Sephiroth is confused, even more so when he sees Genesis and Angeal, alive and not degrading. They tell him about how worried his boyfriend was and to take care not to scare him like that again.

Sephiroth is like: ???? Boyfriend? Both best friends are alive and well? Now this is the life!

And he does his best to fit right in...knowing he's not this worlds Sephiroth

Genesis, with his very obvious fire gimmick, immediately rushes in to pick Flareon....only to realize it probably has like the worst stats out of any of them. Oh well. Fluffy.

Zack picks Jolteon, because he fully appreciates the fine art of being spiky and zipping around. And might have also played with plugs too often as a kid.

Sephiroth selects Espeon, since it's calm, elegant, and suits his alluring personality. It also kind of looks like a weird psychic alien? I mean sorta, with the tail.

Cloud, naturally, picks Umbreon in response. Because of course he had to go and pick the edgiest of Eeveelutions.

Angeal selects Leafeon, mostly because of his love for gardening. He doesn't even want to fight and compete with it. Pet the weird leaf-dog. Yay.

BONUS:

Lazard IS the director here. So he gets a say too! Glaceon for him. Because he's a cool leader with a chill personality. Enough cringy ice puns for you?

And Kunsel gets Sylveon. Because, contrary what that helmet would have you believe, Kunsel is secretly the sparkliest and most special bean of them all!

So just to get one thing straight, the boys (in this AU at least) are happy being child free and don't plan to bring little ones into the fold anytime soon.

HOWEVER(!!!!)

Gen and Angeal grew up in the Coven. It wastheir home and so they have been around for most of the births of the babies. this means the kids know them and love to bug them and have them play with them. Secretly I think Angeal probably would like to have a kid someday, but Gen and Sephiroth specifically are not there yet.

Seph finds adults difficult, so children are a whole different language to him, and Gen currently likes his freedom too much to be tied to reruns of bluey and bathtimes. Both of them agreed when they started dating that they'd talk about it again when they were both thirty. Later Angeal and Zack accepted theses trems as fair. Cloud never verbally said "yes, that is fair" but he has also never challenged it.

Zack is a big kid at heart and is very good with the Coven Kids. They think he's funny and find him endlessly facinating cause "You heal animals without magic??? thats so cooool!" hes the fun uncle at parties and events and they are usually getting piggy backs off of him and hanging off his arms.

Angeal is the sensible uncle that usually is the one calling "be careful kids!" when things get rough. He is also A+ dadgeal when the kids are upset and their parents are not there.

Genesis plays at hating having them near him. The kids find him endlessly entertaining when he makes a show of rolling his eyes at them and calling them snot nosed brats. but he always ruins it by winking at them and sneaking them candy.

Sephiroth does not know how to handle them at all. he has saved them from falling a few times. a specific memory of a kiddo falling off a play frame has everyone gushing at how fast Sephiroth moved to catch little Terra (don't look at me like that KH will always be my go to for kiddos) before he hit the floor.

Cloud is a Closet child whisperer. He doesn't appear as someone who would be good with kids but there are a few kids that just follow him around endlessly. He engages them well and treats them like intelegent beings. They all fight for Cloud cuddles when he's feeling up to giving them and theres one little boy in paticular that likes to quietly come and sit with Cloud at coven parties and lean on his arm.

Everyone in the Coven is bound by a magical duty of care spell to make sure that the Kids are safe and loved. Part of the reason Angeal doesn't push Gen and Seph is because in reality they look after the coven kids like everyone else and that resposibility is enough.

That being said.... that Quiet little silver haired kid... the one called Riku. Yeah he might just worm his way into their lives a little snugger than the rest.

So, as I've been replaying Final Fantasy VII, I've had a scenario pop into my head regarding the SOLDIER boys. Ready? Here we go.

Alright, my headcanon is an AU that Angeal, Genesis, and Sephiroth play an intense game of tag- similar to the movie TAG. For an entire month they hunt each other down in an attempt to play the game tag. Originally it started as a joke by Genesis, but then it escalated. REALLY fast.

- Later they get Zack and Cloud to join in, with Zack in particular enjoying to see such childish behavior from his mentor Angeal.

-Sephiroth has NEVER been tagged. He see's it as intense training exercise and makes a point to win.

-When Zack tells Aerith about this, she gets really into it. And is secretly super competitive.

-They do have a few ground rules; such as not tagging back, no using materia, no flying away with wings (it's unfair to Zack and Cloud). But for the most part, it's every man for himself.

-Zack is definitely the one who would disguise himself as a woman to tag someone, while forcing Cloud to join him.
