Help

I was praying and heard this: If Satan can transform himself into an angel of Light, then he can disguise himself as help, or helper. Jesus Christ sent the True Helper, The Holy Spirit to draw us back to God through salvation for a relationship with His Father, God of course. Jesus Christ knew we needed help and strength. The Holy Spirit reminds us not to draw from ourselves but from God. Yes, it's true God does use people to help us but His main purpose is to draw us to Himself for He supplies our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ. We must be very careful when we are looking to others to help us or need help.When God sends us help through others, they are sent to remind us of who God is, and His word. In this last hour, we must ask the Holy Spirit help us to discern between good and evil, look for fruit, see if there's evidence of God's love, obedience to the word and authorities, able to take correction, and finally a track record of forgiveness in their lives as well as their relationships. For Satan also has a goal: to help us go straight to hell as believers and he makes no apologies about that.

Satan wants all of us to be hoodwinked by the images of him with horns, red skin, goat faced or etc. because we won’t take him serious and put our guard down. Giving us a false sense of security and thinking we’re in control. He knows all too well to leer us in with promises of milk & honey; prosperity and happiness or whatever we most desire. It’s all empty promises.

“Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.”

Jesus’ words to His disciples…

“The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”

That’s exactly Satan’s ultimate desire and goal….Steal, Kill and Destroy Everything. No joke.

If Jesus hadn’t died on that Cross, Our own deaths will be eternally final. Thank you Jesus for fulfilling God’s Will, and by your innocent blood reforged our bond with our Heavenly Father. 💖

For much of history, all demons have been looked down upon as evil and were heavily discriminated against, they were literally demonized for centuries. The four characters shown here all had a major role in promoting demon rights and informing the world that demons are no more good or bad than any other angel or human.

Nitenri is the first demon to become mayor of the town Ombra Nera. He has spent his life working constantly for the betterment of all magic-kind and equity for all walks of life. Ombra Nera has always been known as a safe place for human mages and other magical beings, but Nitenri extended this safety to demons as well and established many support structures for anyone of magic-kind in need of help. Ombra Nera went from a place for magical beings to lay low to a safe haven secretly integrated with human society.

Spectria and Guilden are the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of a city hidden amongst the clouds called Cumulous Valley. Spectria always had a kind and open heart towards anyone, in fact she was the one who helped Nitenri become a member of the Magical Being Protection Society and encouraged him to run for mayor back in the 90's. Meanwhile Guilden is an angel who used to have an inherent and subtle prejudice against demons, though eventually he came around and learned to treat and respect demon-kind like everyone else. Many of the residents of Cumulous Valley are angels and a large portion of them still have some old-fashioned views against demon and humans. Spectria is quick to try and correct this behavior but Guilden is more hesitant and sympathetic towards those who have difficulty in changing with the times as he used to be in the exact same position.

Matthias is a more tragic case. He was a demon rights activist back in the 1970's who always preached peace, love, and equality. He was a very good friend to Nitenri and was the one who inspired him to speak up and take action against societal issues. During a rally for demon rights, Matthias met his untimely death via assassination. His killer, an angel, had a biased trial and a light sentence, Matthias being framed as a revolutionary who inspired disruption and civil unrest.

Does this look like the face of someone who betrayed their best friend and enslaved a planet for a few millennia?

No? Good, then I'm doing his character redesign correctly.

I'm working on redesigning the main villain of The SOS Chronicles, Algol, based on the lyrics of the Petra song "Angel of Light".

"Angel of Light, I see you glow in the night, But you only bring darkness to my soul. Angel of Light You're telling me wrong is right But I won't let your evil take control."

Instead of leaning into demonic elements like I was before, I'm now trying to make him look alluring, like someone you assume is a good guy because how could he not be??? just look at him! It makes more sense then that the characters didn't realize right away that he was the big bad, especially since he's also using Almitak's power to mind control (almost) the entire populace of the planet (Aguitha) he lives on. But Almitak's power weakens over time, so as the mind control loosens, Algol falls back on using his beauty, along with lies and trickery, to keep people trusting him. Much like a skilled politician, he makes the ordinary people think he cares about them by knowing just what to say every time. His military following is completely loyal and trusting of him because of the web of lies he's trapped them in, and it takes a long time for Oliver and co. to unravel those lies and find the truth of who Algol is and what he's doing.

(no, but seriously, on a scale of 1-10, how trustworthy do you think he looks? This is just a concept-art esque sketch, I am open to changing his design at this point, feedback is appreciated)
