Asmodeus prompt! Asmodeus prompt! I don’t know enough about him to give you anything more concrete but!!! I want to hear things!!!

There was something to be said for being the youngest. Asmodeus had dozens of legions at his beck and call, of course; it came with his station, but there was… none of the responsibility. Hell, no one besides Azazel had ever taken on a lick of responsibility after their Father had been Caged: always Daddy’s favorite little general, begging and suckling on every little whisper through the bars he managed to hear, crowing and strutting along to the beat of a cold and distant drum. 

Asmodeus had been content to let Lucifer rot in there, if he was being perfectly honest with himself. After the Shedim, after he’d felt claws and feathers colder than absolute zero rip wounds so deep into his true form they showed on every damned vessel he took, he knew that the reason they’d all Fallen was gone and that all that was left in Lucifer’s head was mindless rage and hopeless love for the God who’d cast them all out.

Fine, then. He could have it his way, have his damn cake and eat it too, have his fun with his Knights and with pushing the envelope further and further until God wasn’t content with him being exiled from Heaven alone, anymore, until he had to be imprisoned in Hell. Just desserts, in Asmodeus’ mind, though of course he’d wept and fought with the rest of them. Ramiel and Dagon left, after that; good for them. Azazel took up Lucifer’s banner, and Asmodeus was content with what portion of Hell he’d carved out for himself, freed up for his experiments with grace and soul and blood and bone.

I love the idea that Gabriel is one of the few beings in existence capable of understanding the scale of Sam's torture in the Cage. Sam's trauma might make him "out of reach" to ordinary people in some respects, but it also gives him an otherworldliness that puts him on more even footing with supernatural beings like Gabriel.

ok i can’t get the ideas for a bsd x spn au out of my head so just work with me here for a little bit. just brainstorming. just having some fun!

— atsushi is sam, the kid doomed basically since birth, sought after by higher powers for his unique abilities. generally quite mellow and kind hearted but will be strong and aggressive if needs be

— chuuya is dean, the older brother, destined to be a vessel for a being far greater than himself; to be the sword that heaven can use as it pleases

— dazai is castiel, the angel who rebelled, the one being that could change the course of God’s creation

i think the DOA should (fittingly) be angels (minus bram), and i also think the port mafia should take up the majority of the angels’ numbers

the agency could be a mix of other monster hunters, or monsters themselves, whilst the hunting dogs are demons (perhaps the princes of hell?) and the guild are just randomly split up between monsters, demons and angels

Obey Me x Supernatural: The demon brothers see a ‘67 Chevy Impala parked out front of a café while they’re in the human world with you

A/N: I’ve been holding onto this idea but only wrote it recently. I hope you enjoy regardless. (Also referring to Belphie’s part, I am aware that Sam & Dean have lived, died and have been revived/brought back several times).

Context: You’re the sibling of the Winchesters

He knows exactly what it means when their car was parked somewhere. To him, he knew that they were looking for something far more dangerous than he’d like to admit. And from the look on your face, you knew it too.

“Y/N, let’s head back. I’m sure Diavolo is waiting for us to return.”

Even if he didn’t openly admit it to you, be wanted to keep you out of harms way. And as he loved you dearly, he would ask Mammon & Beel to watch your brothers from a distance in case anything went wrong. He knew what it was like to lose a sibling, so he didn’t want you to lose the only ones you had.

His first instinct was to get you the hell out of there. There was no telling what kind of thing your brothers were doing. Yes, he knew you were a hunter too but he needed to keep you safe. And Sam & Dean seemed to feel the same way. He would especially want to leave quickly if he felt like something was really off.

He probably doesn’t notice right away. It’s only when he hears you brothers arguing when he realizes it’s them. He hoped that they didn’t see him. Both of them had this insatiable need to tease him about you. His heart would almost explode from the questions they asked.

“Levi! Did you know that they’ve read TSL? Dean seems to be quite a fan of it. However he hasn’t watched it yet-”

“I’m envious of him. What I’d give to watch it again for the first time.”

“I was thinking we could invite them over for a TSL watching party? If you’d be okay with that. I promise that they’d be on their best behaviour.”

“What are they doing here?”

“Probably another case. Would you like to go over?”

Naturally he would be so excited as he loved to hear stories of the cases that your brothers had been on. It was so fascinating. And any chance he got to help them out, he would.

“Y/N! Let’s go say hello to your cute brothers!”

He could never resist talking to them whenever they were around. Dean was so handsome and gruff while Sam was sweet and smart. Clearly the good looks ran in your family. And despite his need to fawn over him, you and he both knew that you were the one he loved the most.

“They’re on a case, Asmo.”

“So? All the more to go see them!”

He would probably go with you to talk to Sam & Dean. That and he’d want to tell Dean about this new pie shop. He wouldn’t really ask what they were up to, but he’d at least advise them to be careful. They were still human after all, not invincible.

He doesn’t think too much of it honestly. Cool. You’re brothers are over there at the café with their fake badges and fake names, chasing dangers that would eventually get them killed. And yet the very “monster” that you chose to chase was him, and he had killed you once upon a time. But he regretted it every single day since. He was just lucky enough to have you alive once again. But these monsters your brothers were chasing, they had no remorse whatsoever. And chances are, they wouldn’t have someone like Barbatos to go back in time to fix things.

I’m thinking a lot about the fact that when Jack “went dark side” he like. he really didn’t? everything he did, even murdering nick, was done with the intent of making them happy and making up for both the death of Mary and the failure in bringing her back. and this is a similar, if not the exact same pattern that followed every other time Jack came close to doing something terrible because he was manipulated into thinking it was the right thing.

asmodeus told jack that the shedim were god’s noble warriors and that freeing them would make him a hero.

duma told him that he was making the world a better place for sam and dean, making them happy and making up for mary and redeeming him so he could be their kid again. nd he quite literally thought of it as hunting.

billie not only fully admitted to using his guilt and suicidal ideation for her plan, but also sold jack the same idea of forgiveness and paradise-bringing as duma.

it’s a canon fact in jack’s personality that they’re protective to a ruthless extent, which is especially obvious in instances where they’ve hurt someone without external influence, like going back to asmodeus and the shedim, or torturing Michael and almost strangling Nate in 13x23—all of them were both just genuine reactions to seeing people he cared about being harmed or literally killed in front of him.

idk it just. spn kept trying to push that “will he won’t he what side is he on oh nooo he’s choosing the dark side” narrative with jack soooo many times while also driving in that he’s only ever tried to choose what he thinks is the right thing and it just doesn’t work lmao
