What’s new in this release?

Aspose is proud to extent its cloud family with the addition of a new API known as Aspose.Diagram Cloud. It is a platform independent REST API, that allows developers to work with Microsoft Visio files in their application without installing Microsoft Visio. It seamlessly enhances your application with the capability to create, read and manipulate Microsoft Visio files using a simple set of requests. It supports working with native VSD/VSDX format as well as other popular Visio formats including VSS, VST, VSX, VTX, VDW, VDX, VSSX, VSTX, VSDM, VSSM and VSTM. Fully Reworked Versions of Java SDK & New Paragraph Format APIs Support in Cloud Apps

What's New in this Release?

We are pleased to announce the new release of Aspose.Words Cloud 18.9. Fully reworked version of Java SDK for Aspose.Words Cloud has been released. Moreover, this release has introduced two new APIs that let user update paragraph format properties. Fully reworked version of Aspose Cloud Java SDK has been released. Java Cloud SDK is a wrapper around REST API, allowing to process documents in Java 1.7+ quickly and easily, gaining all benefits of strong types and IDE highlights. The distribution is available at Maven and source code at GitHub. New SDK is fully supported and has many advantages over the previous versions, such as SDK is fully in sync with the API, all missing methods are added, Classes, methods, and properties have comments and are IDE-friendly, better security, Usage of Request/Response classes to represent long lists of parameters. This allows for cleaner code and easier backward-compatibility going forward, SDK is not backward compatible with the previous generation because of the last item. It should be straightforward to convert program code to using Request/Response objects, if users need any help on migration please ask at Free Support Forums. This release also added new saveoptions. Earlier these options were only exist in Aspose.Words, but now they are available in Aspose.Words Cloud too. This release also Added “paragraph format” APIs. It provides access to the paragraph formatting properties. It Represents all the formatting for a paragraph and Updates paragraph format properties & returns updated format properties.

RPDF to Word converter now supports basic vector graphics. Moreover, accuracy of table detection has been significantly improved. Almost all simple tables are detected properly now. If the parameter is not specified or is set to “default”, the classification is performed according to the IAB-2 taxonomy (10 news classes). Alternatively, there is a taxonomy “documents” (10 classes of documents). If the taxonomy parameter is set to “documents”, the classification will be performed using “documents” taxonomy. Clip Areas of Interest of an Image & Python Script for Batch Processing inside Cloud Apps

What’s new in this release?

Aspose team is pleased to announce the new release of Aspose.OMR for Cloud 18.8. This release introduces a feature in OMR.Kernel (Cloud) that let users clip areas of interest. An improvement “No postprocessing for template images” has been made in GUI OMR Editor (Cloud client). Moreover, Python script for batch processing has been added as Demo in Python SDK.  Users can specify an area of interest, which will be cropped from the image and returned as an image in recognition response. In this way, a user can obtain not only the recognition data but also cropped parts of the original image that may be further processed according to user needs. There are some important new features included in GUI OMR Editor (Cloud client), such as No postprocessing for template images, Clip Areas of user’ interest feature allows users to add clip areas to templates, and also view and save clipped areas from recognized images and Python script for batch processing OMR documents has been added as a demo in Aspose.OMR Cloud SDK for Python. This release introduces brand new API that performs text and document classification using machine learning and natural language processing techniques. Moreover PDF to Word conversion now supports detecting headers and footers. This release introduces an API that performs text and document classification using machine learning and natural language processing techniques. Currently, text samples and documents are classified into Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) taxonomy categories. PDF to Word conversion now supports detecting headers and footers. Sections of PDF pages containing page numbers, document names etc. will be converted as headers and footers in Word document that do not affect rest of the page layout and are not moved while the document is being edited. Hyperlinks Support for PDF to Word Conversion & Versioning Support in SDKs inside Cloud Apps

Aspose team is pleased to announce the release of Aspose.Words for Cloud 18.3.0. This release provide Hyperlinks support for PDF to Word conversion, versioning support in SDKs and have dropped support of deprecated PDF save option properties. PDF to Word converter now properly converts style and destination of hyperlinks, both to URLs and local files. Please check Convert PDF Document to Word article for more details. Aspose.Words Cloud SDKs now have Version property for API Configuration classes. The attribute allows to target specific version. Supported versions are:

v1 (default) – updated on monthly basis or more frequent

v2 (stable) – updated once a quater

v3 (frozen) – previous version of “stable”, updated once a quater

Some PDF save options that have been deprecated in Aspose.Words .NET are now not available in Aspose.Words Cloud REST API as well. Full lists of properties are provided on blog announcement page. Below is the list of important new features and bug fixes part of this release.

Revamped Node.js SDK Release & Encrypted PDF Files Conversion to Word inside Cloud Apps

What's New in this Release?

Aspose team is pleased to announce the release of Aspose.Words for Cloud 18.2.0. This release features a brand new Node.js SDK built from the ground up along with support for converting encrypted PDF files to Word. Based on Adobe’s deprecation of Flash, conversion to SWF is no longer supported in Aspose.Words Cloud REST API. A fully reworked version of Aspose Cloud Node.js SDK has been released. Node.js Cloud SDK is a wrapper around REST API, allowing to process documents in Node.js 4.8 or higher quickly and easily, gaining all benefits of strong types and IDE highlights. The distribution is available at npm and source code at GitHub. New SDK is fully supported and has the following advantages over the previous versions:

SDK is fully in sync with the API, all missing methods are added

Classes, methods, and properties have comments and are IDE-friendly

Better security

Usage of Request/Response classes to represent long lists of parameters. This allows for cleaner code and easier backward-compatibility going forward

SDK is not backward compatible with the previous generation because of the last item. It should be straightforward to convert program code to using Request/Response objects, if users need any help on migration please ask at Free Support Forum. Aspose.Words now supports encrypted PDF files for PDF to Word conversion. Based on Adobe’s deprecation of Flash, conversion to SWF is no longer supported in Aspose.Words Cloud REST API. Some save options that have been deprecated in Aspose.Words .NET are now not available in Aspose.Words Cloud REST API as well. A full list of properties is as follows. Fully Reworked Version of PHP SDK & Enhanced Images Support in PDF to Word Conversion in Cloud Apps

What's New in this Release?

Aspose team is pleased to announce the release of Aspose.Words for Cloud 17.12.0. This release includes improvements in terms of feature enhancements and bug fixes. Specifically, Aspose team is providing improved support for images in PDF to Word conversion and has released fully reworked version of Aspose.Words for Cloud PHP SDK. This release improves support for images in PDF to Word conversion. It now supports Semi-transparent images, Rotated images and Inline images (images that go “inside” the text, being a logical part of text paragraph). Some Restrictions are still apply, such as Vector images (rendered via PDF paint operators) are not converted. The fully reworked version of Aspose.Words for Cloud PHP SDK has been released. PHP Cloud SDK is a wrapper around REST API, allowing to process documents in PHP 5.6 or higher quickly and easily, gaining all benefits of strong types and IDE highlights. The distribution is available at Packagist and source code at GitHub. New SDK is fully supported and has the some advantages over the previous versions, such as SDK is fully in sync with the API, all missing methods are added, Classes, methods, and properties have comments and are IDE-friendly, Better security and Usage of Request/Response classes to represent long lists of parameters. What's New in this Release?

Aspose team is pleased to announce the new release of Aspose.Cells for Cloud 17.9.0. Aspose.Cells for Cloud is a platform independent REST API that allows developers to process their Excel files on Cloud. This release comes up with some new feature and enhancements. When Excel file is converted to HTML, it does not generate just a single file. Instead, the conversion generates many related files like multiple HTML files, CSS files, JavaScript files etc. In this release, Aspose team zip all of these related files together and send back to user a single zip file which he can download and unzip at his end.  Users can copy range in a worksheet with different paste options. Please see the URI and JSON that can be used for this purpose on blog announcement page. Users can change the heights of rows and widths of the columns inside the range with the following URIs. Users can import CSV data into worksheet with custom parser. Custom Parser defines which column is to be formatted with custom format. Aspose team is pleased to announce the release of Aspose.Words for Cloud 17.8.0. This release includes a new feature along with three bug fixes. We have introduced HtmlFixed format support in this version. Aspose.Words’ core library has also been updated to Aspose.Words for .NET 17.8. Please check release notes of Aspose.Words for Cloud 17.8 for complete list of new feature and bug fixes. HtmlFixed file format support is included in Aspose.Words for Cloud 17.8. This version supports to convert supported file formats to HtmlFixed format, HTML format using absolutely positioned elements. You can use htmlfixed parameter for the purpose while converting or splitting the documents in /convert and /split methods. There are Some important bug fixes included in this monthly release, such as no Swagger field to put body in mail merge, Meaningless error if “imagesaveoption.resolution” is set to 0 and Swagger: “format” parameter is required for “GetDocument” method. We are pleased to announce the new release of Aspose.Cells for Cloud 17.8.0. Aspose.Cells for Cloud is a platform independent REST API that allows developers to process their Excel files on Cloud. This new release comes up with a new feature. Developers can add and manipulate Conditional Formatting using conditionalformattings API. Conditional formatting allows users to apply formats to a cell or range of cells and have that formatting change depending on the value of the cell or the value of a formula. Aspose.Cells for Cloud API now supports to apply conditional formatting to cells at runtime. The documents/articles in the section explain on how to add and manipulate conditional formatting (add cell area, apply format condition, get conditional formatting, remove conditional formattings, etc.) in the worksheet.
