#Atlas and Rosie

On one particularly memorable night, Rosalyn commissioned me to dive into their jewellery box in search of a twin for the singular of a stunning, silver sapphire earring they had found discarded within a desk drawer. The jewels were moulded into a shape of a lily flower- By hand, if Atlas was to be believed. They were a gift, that which he had donated upon Rosalyn's thirtieth birthday.

Since such an event, Rosalyn had worn them to one gala and then, subsequently, allowed the existence of the pair to slip their mind. Why this pair demanded attention on this particular night, I do not know, nor do I particularly think it is of consequence.

Atlas lay upon the bed. To me, he advised, "Make them do it themself. Teach them a little responsibility for their actions."

Rosalyn, stood before an ornamental mirror in the room's centre, scoffed, "My love, nothing could teach me that. Not now. Who learns new things at thirty-seven? What a waste."

Grinning, I produced the earring from the very depths of the heavy, wooden box. Before I could inform either of the pair, Atlas sighed, "Oh, don't know it." He crept up to stand at their side. Elevated upon a footstool, Rosalyn towered over him. Atlas looked up with nothing less than pure adoration in his gaze, "Do you really want those earrings?" He asked, "Because you don't need them by any stretch of the imagination."

Rosalyn's lips parted. For the briefest instant, I feared they intended to submit to rage. My concerns were, thankfully, utterly unfounded. Their voice was light as they replied, "No," They allowed him to lay his hands upon their waist and lift them to the floor, "No, I think I'm alright without them."

Finally, they addressed me, "God, I've got you doing that for nothing, haven't I?" Without pause, they spoke their solution, "Tell you what, there's cash in my office. Use it and buy yourself a takeaway. Anything at all. Menus in the kitchen cupboard."

Closing my fist around the recovered earring, I forced a smile.

"Sounds good."

I always see the "sunshine" character reduced to someone who is simply happy and bubbly all the time and I was thinking about how I wanted a sunshine character who is sunshine but because they choose to be - because they wake up every day and choose kindness

I’m making an Etsy store!

I’ve been wanting to try making money off my art for a long time, so this year I attended some punk flea markets to see how it felt to sell some things I made, namely these leather wing boot/shoe attachments I’ve been making. And I really liked that experience!

so I have decided to set up an Etsy store, and they’re up on there now!

these are all handmade by me from scrap leather, and hand painted with Angelus Leather Paints, and sealed with Angelus Acrylic Finisher so they’re water and scratch resistant! (I’ve beat up my personal pair so many times by wearing them in bad weather and while I’m cutting the grass and they still look great. Maybe be nicer to yours tho lol)

you know much as i enjoy the concept of the omega dlc, it is like. 30% too long to be completely enjoyable and happens to feature a beefy top 5 life of most aggravating combat scenarios one could ever find oneself in, so in that it loses some points

A few more pieces of my ocs, Atlas and Rosie!

Both of them gained a specific magic gift in an event that trapped the town under a magic dome, with Atlas being able to manipulate light and Rosie able to manipulate plants. While Atlas is living a relatively normal existence with their new powers, Rosie decided to become a supervillain and cause lots of minor property damage.

"It's been years." Rosalyn protested weakly, but I saw the ravenous glint in their eyes.

Atlas' smile was wicked, "But you're still the only person I see."

They grasped him by his shirt front and he yelped. Rosalyn led him to the master bedroom, throwing over their shoulder, "Don't need us!"

After a pause, Atlas added, "For at least 2 hours."

"More if possible!"

Linney and I exchanged incredulous glances, not quite comprehending the situation before us. Hurriedly, she rose, however, pleading, "Thank fuck, I don't live here. Night."

"What? Linney-"

"Night!"
