This is just a hc that i had, but Ayo and Aneka with Okoye's baby? They'd be the most attentive and caring aunts in the world and if someone so much as even looked at the baby the wrong way, they'd give one of those death glares. I feel like Okoye would have a girl, which would make them extra protective and they'd bicker about whether she'd be a Dora or a Midnight Angel, but Nakia would shake her head and jump in saying she'd be a War Dog.

Not only would they be very protective of Abeni (that's the name I think of when I think of Okoye and Attuma with a daughter), but they'd be so protective of Okoye, making sure she has everything she needs from the moment they find out she's pregnant, to the moment they get to go inside the hospital room post-birth, to present. They're the best aunts and sisters ever.

It would also prompt them to want a baby and they'd start exploring their options.

Ayo was with Okoye when she went into labor. They'd just gotten up from their lunch outing only for Okoye to double over in pain from the contractions. She didn't panic (at least externally), called Attuma, and hauled ass to get them to the hospital. Of course, Attuma showed up in no time, by Okoye's side immediately and as caring as he was, the man was a bundle of nerves. Okoye was in far too much pain to realize just how much Attuma was freaking out. He'd prepared himself as much as he thought possible and he was beyond excited, but the fact that it was finally happening? He couldn't believe it. In mere hours, he'd have a family of his own. Ayo, being the good friend she is, made sure that Attuma had everything he needed, which usually consisted of something to do and reminding him that the breathing exercises they'd learned also applied to him.

"Get her more ice chips!", "Let her squeeze your hand!", "Attuma, you must focus on your breathing or you will pass out before you meet your child!"

Aneka, Shuri, and Nakia had been alerted of Okoye's labor immediately and they were all there for moral support. Shuri and Aneka made it a point to keep Attuma level as Ayo and Nakia did the same for Okoye.

The birth goes smoothly and their beautiful daughter is born. She's healthy and a perfect mixture of her parents, Okoye's beautiful eyes and Attuma's pointed ears being the cutest little features that everyone couldn't stop obsessing over. Attuma would watch Okoye as she drifted off to sleep, exhausted beyond belief and he would hold their babygirl in his arms as he watched the room at peace knowing that his family was surrounded by people who wanted nothing for the best for them. He'd lock eyes with Ayo, who can't stop staring at little Abeni and he'd smile knowingly before giving the baby to Aneka and watching Ayo's loving stare as she watched her love cooing over the newborn, confirming his theory that Ayo was ready to start a family.

"Abeni is a strong name. The name of a Dora," Ayo would say as she stepped over to the pair, looking down at the baby and back at her favorite person.

Aneka would shake her head down at the baby and scrunch her nose.

"Oh, no. She is destined to be a Midnight Angel. Just like her mother and her favorite auntie," she'd say in a high-pitched voice, baby talk seeming to come natural to her. Ayo would laugh and stand with the two of them, letting her arm wrap around Aneka's waist as she took in the fact that they could have what Okoye and Attuma have: A family of their own.

"You are both wrong. This one will be a spy," Nakia would say confidently, causing Okoye to come out from the halfway asleep daze she'd found herself in just long enough to say "Over my dead body," before finding peace in a deep sleep.

As Ayo and Aneka explored their options for starting their family, they continued to be the most attentive aunts to little Abeni, constantly watching out for her and even defending her.

"Abeni, you must pick up your toys after you finish with them," Attuma would remind her as he walked through the sea of toys on the floor (most provided by Shuri, who'd made them specifically designed based on Abeni's interests).

"Oh, give her a break, Attuma," Aneka would say immediately. "What if she wants to come back to them later, hm?"

Once Okoye didn't feel like getting up for the remote and asked Abeni to grab it for her.

"Sithandwa, would you bring me the remote, please?"

"Ah, Okoye! You are an arm's length away from it," Ayo told her, not wanting her precious niece to have to pause her playing to get her mother a remote.

As much shit as Okoye and Attuma would give them for completely spoiling their girl, they were absolutely certain that the couple would make perfect parents.

"Just know that all the nonsense you pull in spoiling Abeni will be turned in your face when we get to meet your child," Okoye would tell them teasingly, smiling as her daughter slept across Aneka's lap. "Do not complain about us spoiling them."

Not only do Ayo and Aneka adopt a baby, but they also adopt a twelve-year-old girl, who made it her personal mission to be Abeni's muse. The two were inseparable, Abeni constantly following behind Zuri.

Of course, Okoye was right. Ayo and Aneka made the perfect parents. They were caring and patient with their baby boy as well as with Zuri.

"You spoil him, Okoye," Ayo told her as she watched Okoye on the ground playing with Omari.

Attuma shook his head as Aneka nodded in agreement with her wife. He placed a hand on each of their shoulders and laughed.

"Ah, we told you not to complain when we did the same to you," he told them jokingly, incredibly happy for the couple.

Say whatever you want to say about First kill, but if you deny their chemistry, you are either lying or you lack taste. Even the trailer got me. I think they have the best or one of the best and passionate kissing and make-out scenes i’ve ever seen.

Wildmoore (Batwoman)

I can’t even start on how amazing their chemistry is. They served a lot of tropes and their banters alone gave me a lot of feelings. The slow-burn was worth it and i think this is one of the most realistic ships in wlw media out there.

Sharmen (The L word)

I don’t even like The L word in general and i know Shane is problematic, but can’t help but love this ship. Aside from the hot scenes, i love the angst and their cute little dates. Also, i love hurting myself. :)

Ayo x Aneka (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever)

Spoiler alert: Very very few scenes, but those little scenes are cute and enough for them to be on my list. Give them a spin-off and they will be unstoppable.

I haven’t seen the whole show yet (I’m still on S01E03), but seeing the stills and gifs on twitter, i already ship them. They’re cute and wholesome.

Queerbait-ish with all the teasing, but it’s fine coz Tegan x Annalise is also great, i just find TM cute with all the banters, angst, “jealousy”. And before you come to me, i know Michaela is toxic and the age gap is fine because they’re both grown adults. I just enjoy their dynamics.

Second in Command, First in My Heart

Okay I finally got my Ayo X Aneka fic going and posted chapter 1.

I am very excited and my wrists hurt lol

I wrote like 2000 words after posting panaderia's update

here's the summary:

Aneka had always admired Ayo. She was ahead of her in Dora initiation and had ascended to a high rank in another Unit while Aneka still instructed at Upanga and worked in munitions. Events occur that change Aneka, all of the Ile Dora, but her fondness never waivered and only grew stronger with time.
