Thus, mqf proposes sj use him for…whatever assignments qingjing assigns them. mqf’s a dork—as a guy in stem he has no idea what the people in humms (sj) do.

In remembrance of my father ~ Doctor Ed 🌟 Pioneer of natural child birth in the US 👶

My dad, Dr Ed Boyce Jr delivered hundreds of little bundles of happiness in the San Francisco Bay Area.

But he touched the lives of almost every family in the US.

Fathers were barred from delivery rooms until the early 1970's.

My dad snuck fathers into the hospitals so that they could truly support their partners when they needed them the most.

He also organized parents to change those rules, quite possibly the very first doctor to do so. He also helped midwives finally get certified and recognized as health professionals.

Dad – I miss you so much. But I know that you will live on in those who've lives you touched.

If you would, please repost this, not just to remember my dad, but so people will know that giving birth with your family around you is a right that people had to fight for and one that can be taken away.
