I remember when Quinn and Anna first interacted a while back I was like Wow I love putting Anna in Situations™ and I'm a sucker for characters who rope others into deals they might regret later on. I would like to see More of Him. And also I haven't thrown Anna at them yet but your other OCs are lovely yippie!!!! 🎉

but quinn is a man of business. you want something that badly and no one else will get it to you? he'll give it. how bad do you want it, how bad is the craving; does it drive you mad, will the intensity kill you in the end if you don't have it yourself? how terrible, how awful; let him help, it'll all be okay in the end.

he's the source of wishes and nightmares alike. alive long enough to bring to life his significant other and give them everything they need to grow, to thrive, to live, to dream, to do what they want (and have what they need). quinn is delightful as a character and i'm glad he intrigued you! he's a bastard and i love playing him. his mentality is very .. nuanced. not good, not bad, just NUANCED.

(and you're always welcome to throw anna at the others. i would welcome her with open arms, as some of my characters are from the Very Distant Future in her eyes)

30 do they smell like anything notable?

Helios-33 probably has a vague smell of how the air smells when a thunderstorm is approaching. His hands specifically smell a little of gun oil, courtesy of beloved husband Banshee-44.

Cerul-7 smells like lemon. Depending on if he last used Solar or Void, there’s hints of how sunsoaked skin smells, or a vast deep almost dry smell. Very rarely can you catch the hint of a cold and wet smell, but it still lurks sometimes…

Thalu-5 smells like red berries. Cherries and strawberries and that typical red forest fruits scent. Very fruity and bright.

Besides my main three there’s a couple that have notable smells, like Nico-10 who always smells like he just got done hugging every tree in a forest, or Neyrha who has a very earthy and bonfire-y smell to her. Bb-7 who smells like his mint shower soap, Dew-0 who smells of petrichor.

34 how would your character describe themselves? it doesn't have to line up with how they really are.

Helios: “Big tall red titan.”

He doesnt use many words when he doesnt need to, and doesnt find his kind and protective nature something worth mentioning.

Cerul: “Nothing too special. I’m a scholar and a teacher. I’ve published much of my research and try to help New Lights be curious about their surroundings.”

Insecure and not very self-confident when it’s just about him, so he would use his professional work as descriptors. ‘Look at what I’ve done, maybe you will find worth in that’ kinda deal. He’s a very sweet and kind person, and quite a skilled guardian.

Thalu: “[with laughter in her voice] I’m just me.”

For a guardian she’s still young, very energetic and playful. However she sometimes overdoes the playful attitude, to fool people so they dont catch on to her more serious situations in her life.

Neyrha: “Who’s asking? And if you’re so curious, why don’t you come find out for yourself.”

Cagey and self-protective, cocky and never backs down from a challenge. Likes to have the upper hand. In relationships, in sex, in conversations.

Cedahn: “[Little bit self deprecating laugh, and a warm smile] A titan with anger issues. I’m working on it.”

Deeply honest.

Nico-10: would just kinda shrug, “I try to help everyone I meet. Does that count?”

Again a very self conscious person, but still truthful.

Sa’id: “Tired.”

There’s more to meets the eye with Sa’id, but he is a chronic insomniac, so that would be the first thing he thinks of to say.

Bb-7: [silently motions to himself, as if that is an answer enough]

Doesnt speak if not needed. Man of actions over words. Also a very private person, so this is what you’ll get.

Dew-0: “Cocky bastard who wants to be worshipped. Rightfully so, I might add.”

Dark ages mfer. Basard supreme. Has a heart in there somewhere, but its underneath several thick layers of self preservation.

Thalu has never felt like she had a home to return to. She’s trying to find home in the people she loves, in her little family.

Been thinking of watching darkwing duck because it seems cool from the posts I've seen on your blog but I was wondering something, is he an actual hero or an actor? the ducktales reboot wanted darkwing to make sense in the world they set up and they made the exceptionally creative ITS A TV SHOW IN THIS UNIVERSE idea to bring it in without having to redo everything

i havent seen the new ducktales yet (or the old one THEYRE BOTH ON MY LIST) howeVER a friend showed me the NEGA TWIST ep and from what i can tell ducktales 2017 has the characters written a bit more realistically and less “toony” than the original series

Remind me to show you his ‘Search for Blackbeard’ cover story-- he set major fire to several things after getting thrown in a river. He met the pirate equivalent of a god and decided to try and kill him a few dozen times before finally calming down. This boy is a basard!

It is ten am and I am THINKING THOUGHTS.

Lucky was NOT initially a Fallout OC, but was instead from like. A Tumblr-hosted modern crime rp where he was literally just a beautiful snitch bastard man .

This character. Whose name was Felix at the time (unsustainable because I had a CAT named Felix whose personality was partly the basis for OG Lucky).  Betrayed the mafia in exchange for police protection because he had committed many crimes and had a keen feeling one shoe or another was on the verge of dropping. He got his start grifting as a fortune teller/palmister as a teen and got super good at basically? Branding himself? And as he got better at it he used those skills to become one of those people who fakes being a rich heir in order to steal money from investors. Until he got a hunch that law enforcement was closing in on him and his empire of fraud. 

Obviously, the story is... different now. There are no police. There is no being a fake heir. He is a mailman. 

The rp never took off but in order to get more in character, I played FNV as Lucky to practice being a BASARD.

Eventually I was like wow Nick, who is an honest and good man, would hate him. Just HATE him. I should force them to go on an adventure with each other so I can play out the dynamic of ‘very aggravating and mean man made of popsicle sticks and twine’ and ‘buff ex marine using every tool he learned in therapy to resist vaporizing popsicle stick man in one single hit’ . And I should do it in FALLOUT.

Anyways I played myself because uhhh I’m fucking gay and now so are they. And now I am carefully trying to balance how mean Lucky can actually be without going too far but also how to make him just mean enough to justify the plot.
