my dad is so weird.... he gets really pissed off when he goes somewhere and he's not greeted by happy enthusiastic employees... today we went to a bbt cafe and when we left, he made a remark about how all the employees working there looked unhappy and he would have fired them all if he was the manager 😐 like... what do you mean... why is that your FIRST response ??? i personally dont care about receiving Excellent Customer Service or whatever so i dont fully Get It but like . if you go to a place and you see that the staff seem unhappy, why is the first response to punish and get rid of them??? wtf

it also just really bothered me because idk that's just so fucked up... how can you expect people to be happy ALL THE TIME ??? also why is it that they have to be happy for YOUR satisfaction . why does it matter so much when you still end up getting what you paid for regardless of whether the staff greet you or not. why do you care so much why does that affect you so deeply ???

#so annoying and just . really really weird to get so worked up over that #he was like “if theyre not happy they shouldnt work there” and i was like “um???? do you think people choose to work so they can be happy??”#and he was saying that if ppl arent happy they should leave and keep looking until they find a place they like and okay i get his point abt #being happy where you work but thats not possible for a lot of ppl #you cant keep on searching for a new place whenever you dont like your current one also bc theres only so many places in the area you can #work. also if the employees are unhappy again why is it their fault maybe the management should be better ??????#then he countered that by saying that if the management is bad the employees should be more motivated to become manager #WHICH IS LIKE.... #my body has already started detoriating :(((#like it just feels so sad and unfair that my body started getting sick when i was 21...#(i know that many ppl experience it even from childhood </3)#and to watch ppl my own age around me still be healthy and painfree makes me so envious #why did have to start falling apart as early as in my 20s???#so many ppl get to be healthy and feel ok until they start getting older and if they keep healthy they will stay ok for most of the time #im sick and i have pain constantly every day .... and im 25 #and it will only gets worse and that scares me like skskksks #if it's already like this.. if im this sick and have this pain when im 25 how will it be when im old??#and i get sick with envy when i think abt the fact that other ppl around me #get to have years and years and years without pain and ilnesses #but for me that will be the main part of my life #some days it just hits me like a truck and im like wow yeah this is my life and it will keep being my life #i can only be grateful it isnt way worse. bc i know it can be and is so for other ppl #and i can barely cope with this. how would i cooe with that?#cope*****#this makes me feel sm like i just dont wanna become old #i want to live my life until the point where the universe is like no more for u!!!#but if that point is beyond im old i just dont know. idk if i can deal with that...#plus alone... i wont have kids. and many ppl do have kids just to have someone be responsible for u #and be alone and vulnerable and weak and powerless in like a nursing home #with employees who abuse me lmao #no.. i dont wanna be old :< if the world was a nicer place i would be brave and face it #but this society is so fucking awful. so awful.. no.

i don't care how big a company is, the response to an employee asking for an advanced warning before they are affected by changes made by the company should never be "get used to it."

#my new manager on duty (bc apparently we have that now) said that there's gonna be a lott of changes happening around the shop..#and she expected me to just be like yay cool great lets get started?#like she was surprised when she came back and my face was kinda downcast?? as if i hadn't been driven to tears by the suddenness of this?#sometimes im like wow i really am not suited to funtion in society #but this is just one of those things that like.. why is this something i have to get used to when it makes so much more sense to just #warn people #giving people time to prepare can only have positive results? and its so not hard?#(i even asked point blank why our hours were changing. which was part of this whole shift. and one of my managers gave me ZERO actual answer #like she dodged that question like the plague and didnt even address the fact that she was after i repeated the question two more times.#like is it really that bad to give reasons??? surely reasons only make employees feel more responsible for the company they're working for?)#idk ugh #i just needed to rant sorry #jules talks (and talks)

#i got soft fired.#they said it was bc summertime is slow and they dont have the hours for me #but they also said smth about my 3 month evaluation ? which i was not involved in but i felt like it implied something about my performance #but they didn't say it was about my performance not being good enough #and they also didn't say its just bc of the hours but you're a good employee so don't worry about that #they said they still might call me at some point if they have hours for me again #the words fired and let you go were not used #but. i stg they just hired a new froster. idk for sure but i thought they did #and one of the cashiers (the girl i know actually 😐) said she might get trained in frosting this summer #even tho by company policy youre not supposed to work in the kitchen if youre under 18. shes 16 #but there was no warning or critiques or anything #there was when i first started #but not for a long time now #the manager gave me one note like 2 or 3 weeks ago and not since and that was the first time in a while #i had a panic attack when i got home #idk what im gonna do and idk what to think or feel about it rn #i just . yea #thats whats going on in my life lol anyway

#last day’s Saturday <3 #cause I am NAWT putting up with the bullshit I’ve undergone just this week any longer #can’t have our phones in our pockets anymore eventhough no one is ever on them bc we literally don’t have time #new owner’s making us park across the street at a different store’s parking lot bc ours is small and she wants to reserve the parking #for customers like yeah okay do that at the expense of your employees sure why not #they’re making us do double the work for lower pay #everyone is thinking of quitting they’re just trying to secure jobs before they do #but I genuinely just couldn’t handle it I was genuinely gonna snap at some point so I’d rather just quit than get fired #but now I have to find another job BOOOOO #but I was going to have to leave anyways to find someway to do my shadowing for grad school so this gave me a good opportunity

Y'know I really feel like Harry and Dave's relationship goes highly unexplored which is a shame because there IS quite a bit to explore, ESPECIALLY if you care about shipping. But as the game stands I mean, they must be aware of each other. Harry in fact definitely knows about Dave. I don't think he'd tell the fucking weird rotten bunny his terrible boss brought in IS the number one threat against Freddy's since day 1 but even so. Dave I don't think would see Harry as much more than A Phoney™ though, which is always more of an obstacle and way less of a person. Which is usually opposite of how Jack sees his often sole employee. Like, you get what I mean? It's almost similar to 2 with the main opposing routes being Peter and Dave except the stakes are arguably way lower now.

the problem of the matter is i did internalize so much of what ex friend believed about me. even though i knew he was wrong and knew what was happening and tried to stop it and if i took more action to stop it would have been abusing power i held in a way i couldn't live with myself for.

#A BAD PERSON TRYING TO RUIN YOUR LIFE WOULD'VE GOTTEN YOU FIRED AND EVICTED IN WINTER IN ALASKA YOU MOTHERFUCKER. WHICH I DID NOT DO #he was renting a room from my dad. for cheaper than he wouldve been able to find anywhere else. his brother was too #his brother didn't pay rent for over 6 months and my dad just forgave him the debt because my dad knew how much of a difference it wouldve #made when he was that age. and i had told him ex friend was family to me & my dad applied that to the brother too. bc he is a good person.#and one of the strongest parts of my support system. and i didn't say a word to him about what was happening until i knew he already had a #plan for when he would be ending ex friend's lease. so there would be no subconscious impact on ex friend's housing either #mgmt at work straight up asked me if i thought ex friend should be fired immediately multiple times and i'm in retrospect livid they put me #in that position but told them to go by the strike system in the employee handbook and to follow policy that ex friend knew perfectly. that #it couldn't be on me as acting assistant manager to choose #and after 10 months of workplace harassment i got a different job to save my life. ex friend didn't get fired.#he did saw trap shit to my brain!!!!!! jesus christ #he moved cross country to live with his long time gf he called his wife despite never having met irl. to a way more conservative state.#despite being gay. and she left him this summer lol #hadn't checked his twitter in over a year when it got pulled up frm an old link and i saw that. and when he was already at a low point too #me voice. oh no who could've seen this coming. from how you behave in every relationship in your life #may delete this in the morning. but i have to talk about it sometimes #i'm never reaching out for closure both bc he wouldn't give me any and because i know it would trigger him and i don't intentionally trigge #people. unlike him :)#vampire pit #like. i have to talk about it sometimes. i have to talk about it.#jam posts
