Don't Go Alone

It's taken so long to get a th13teen design I like finished but I'm finally happy with this attempt. Facts under the cut:

Park's most reclusive weapon. Th13teen is very shy and doesn't come out of the forest very often. Getting a photo of it is miracle. It tends to either sink low onto the forest floor or cling onto trees to hide. It's cloak makes it easy to blend into foliage.

Has an insanely deep voice. You'll hear th13teen before you see it

The cloak on its back is made of moss and leaf litter. It's constantly shedding and regrowing. The appearance changes throughout the year to help camouflage it amongst the local flora.

Has markings that can glow on command. They look like imitation eyes. Sometimes they blink.

One of the few spirits to appear before it's ride opened. It spooked Rita so badly the luanch coaster bit it's antenna. To cover the damage, it reformed it to look like a three.

Has incredible healing magic. It's healing ability manifests in the form of lighting.

Is also poisonous and is the only creature that's managed to permanently harm Nemesis.

Th13teen is a little addicted to fizzy drinks. It keeps a Refill cup with it most of the time and tops it up with sugary drinks.

Don't let the frail appearance fool you. It's mandibles and scythes are capable of cutting through metal.

Ever since Kai came back, something felt…off. Lloyd didn’t know what it was, but something about Kai was different. It was like an eerie fog that always followed… it was something that terrified Lloyd. Something that made his gut tell him he needed to get far, far away.

Every hug, every heartfelt conversation, everything from then on felt strange. Lloyd scolded himself, this was his brother after all! Why was Lloyd scared of the very person who swore to protect him? It was stupid… it was completely irrational… but the worry kept resurfacing.

It felt like pure dread. It felt bitter. Like someone cast a curse on him. It hurt Lloyd. It hurt that deep down; he was growing scared of his big brother. The same big brother who saved him from the volcano. The same big brother who almost drowned to pull him out of a river. The same big brother who gave up his powers so Lloyd could survive. Still, his instincts screamed at him to run, to hide, to protect himself. From who? From his protector. From the person whose warm embrace made Lloyd forget all about his problems.

It made Lloyd feel selfish. Selfish that he was afraid of the man who would give his life with no hesitation for Lloyd. But still, that didn’t stop Lloyd’s hair from sticking up every time Kai entered a room. Did everything Kai did for him mean nothing?? All of the comfort, all of the love, repaid by feelings fear and caution…
