#Batman actors

I think people are cowards and fools. I think they complain too much about the batman films circa 1989 - 1997. I’m sick to death of dark/gritty/realistic/serious batman movies. Sorry, Batman Begins/The Dark Night Rises/The Joker, you’ll never be bat-nipples, or the delightful campness of Batman and Robin. Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy was the best thing to happen this century, and you animals didn’t appreciate it. Who cares if it wasn’t serious enough? Or too silly? Shut up. You people are sad and milquetoast. Batman Forever is the cornerstone of this society and my sanity. You have the line up of Kim Basinger, Danny Devito, Val Kimer, Michael Keaton, Uma Thurman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Gough, Alicia Silverstone, Chris O’Donell and the Former Governor of California eating it on the big screen and you want to be UNGRATEFUL beasts? Also Jack Nicholson was THE best joker ever.

5. Liam Hemsworth

If you’ve seen The Hunger Games he plays a stoic character and I feel like with the right direction he could be a good Batman. (Link A to Gale’s speech in Hunger Games)

4. Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The only reason this Golden Globe winner is not higher on the list is because he has already played two other superheroes(Kick-Ass, Quicksilver). (Link B to an interview because I couldn’t find a good clip from one of his movies)
IMDB Page Link 2
3. Tom Hopper
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He can carry an action role, he’s easy on the eyes and very charming just watch any interview with him. (Link C to Black Sails speech)
IMDB Page Link 3
2. Ryan Gosling
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He’s an accomplished actor and it hadn’t occurred to me until someone else had mentioned him as a possible choice and I agreed with them he would be a good Batman and Bruce Wayne. (Link D to a ‘Ryan Gosling Is a Complicated Heartthrob’) IMDB Page Link 4
1. Armie Hammer
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Still my #1 pick Armie Hammer!  He was supposed to be George Miller’s Batman before that project fell through and I think he would be great! (Here he is fighting with Superman Link E, & scene from the terrible Lone Ranger Movie Link F)
IMDB Link 5

Happy 75th Batman you old fart
Happy 75th Batman you old fart
Batman (Photo credit: kevin dooley)
With a Warner Bros movie coming out in 2015 (Batman/ Superman), the old man’s getting around pretty good for a 75 year old.  Batman debuted in DC comics in 1939 and has since been made into tons of different incarnations as well as mediums. He’s been in movies, tv shows, cartoons, crossovers, comics, toys, Lego, and even guest-spotted on Scooby Doo.

Top 5 BATMAN ACTORS
Batman has been portrayed by man different actors throughout history so here’s a list of the five best Batman Actors (note this list includes only live-action performers so voice actors are not included)
FIVE
VAL KILMER
Played Batman in Batman Forever a terrible movie. Never like him as an actor even in Top Gun, I think all he has going for him is his apparently ‘handsome’ look that gets the ladies hot under the collar.
  FOUR
GEORGE CLOONEY
I like George Clooney in a lot of his films i.e. The Descendants, O Brother Where Art Thou etc. However as Batman he was awful… admittedly he did have the worst script ever written to work with and probably the worst superhero costume ever (that’s debatable). However the one thing that keeps him off last place is that fact that he said
‘The truth is, Batman is still the biggest break I ever had. It changed my career. I wouldn’t be doing this now if it wasn’t for Batman’
You just can’t argue with something like that…
  THREE
MICHAEL KEATON
Now Michael Keaton is a bit weird one, he was Tim Burton’s Johnny Depp before Tim Burton met Johnny Depp. So when Burton was offered Batman Keaton was bound to be cast. However after Beetlejuice you’d presume he would have been cast as the crazy Joker… not to say that Jack Nicholson isn’t good as the Joker, he’s fantastic. Just Keaton had at the time proven he could do crazy so its baffling. As Batman he is ok, although Burton’s Batman films are much more about the villains and he really has very little personality/much to do… especially in Batman Returnswhere he only has about 20 lines.
  TWO
CHRISTIAN BALE
Christian Bal of-course plays Batman in a very different sense to the other characters to fit in with the extreme darkness of Chris Nolan’s trilogy. He gets probably the most development as Bruce Wayne of any other actor and we really get to see him hurt especially in The Dark Knight. The only problem with him is the god-awful gruff ‘I’m the Batman’ voice. Which is frankly stupid and annoying.  But he does look pretty threatening as Batman… I wouldn’t mess with him.
  ONE
ADAM WEST
Holy-Smokes its Adam West at Number One. I know people will criticise me for this but he is my favourite in the classic TV show. I love how stupid the show is with the narration and the POW effects and the amazing theme tune. I’ve spent many rainy afternoons watching Adam West do his stuff on ITV2. It’s just so cheesy and fun. I love it!
