The Last Remake of Beau Geste

A classic post-modernistic parody film from the era before they went so deep up their own post-modernistic arse that they stopped being movies and turned into a series of references with barely any jokes. Marty Feldman is a USP, and the film is quite funny still. It contains re-edited scenes from the 1939 version.

Beau Geste (1926) might just be the first Ronald Colman film I've seen in which he doesn't have a romantic plotline at all? Then again William Powell did wink at him 🤔
