thinking about the OM cast with an Asian MC who is strict about using honorifics no matter what

for us Asians, that shit's programmed and taught to us since day 1 and even if they're in Hell, i don't think an Asian MC will let that go so easily 😭 not to mention everyone is technically their elder so politeness in thrown in the mix too

the brothers would be so confused and weird about it cuz??? they have names, they're chill with MC calling them by name and not to mention they live under the same roof

why would they insist on being so formal and call them Sir???

Lucifer, Diavolo, and Barbatos would find it funny and a little bit endearing.

Diavolo is amused and is happy to hear him being addressed in another way other than 'your highness'

Barbatos thinks you shouldn't call him sir at all but is glad that you at least have manners.

Lucifer also thinks you shouldn't call him sir, but hey at least someone in the household outwardly respects him 😭

The rest of the brothers would be very shocked and would actively dissuade you from calling them sir. Asmo especially. Tho I can imagine Mammon and Leviathan being so flustered.

As for the angels, Simeon somewhat understands but gently reminds you to call him by his name. Luke tripped on nothing when he was called sir the first time.

The only one who would really get it is Solomon. But he would actively convince you to call him something more casual instead. Like big brother or whichever honorific for an older man that implies closeness. Call him uncle and he dies a little inside whenever he hears it. He is in utter disbelief.

Once they learn how it all works, it's a race on who gets to the most intimate/affectionate form of honorific first.

For Filipinos, it can go from Sir to Tito (uncle) or Kuya/Manong (big brother). And to take it a step further there's the never-ending terms for best friend (bes, beshie, beb, babs, tol, pare, mare, bff, lab, etc (i swear we come up w something new every year for it))

And then there's also the ultimate form of closeness: bestowing a nickname for them.

At this point, once Asian MC does away with the honorifics and sticks to the nicknames, you could say they're pretty damn close.

This is also the time when they better be afraid when MC calls them by their actual names. You're in biiiiig trouble. What color do you want your casket to be?

when you play minecraft together he would go on the craziest raids and just teleport you to him out of nowhere with no warning, just for you to fuckin EAT DIRT-

and when you die and lose all your stuff he’ll just laugh and be like “hah noob”

One of my best friends has a 5 y/o son who had an ear infection that turned into meningitis in September of last year. BUT it's very rare and he was very sick (raging fever, couldn't look down anymore, head was tilted back all the time, etc), so you'd know if you had it.

omg noooo poor beb :( was he okay tho?? yeah it's mostly just me being a hypochondriac but my cousin who's a doc also said since it's been over two weeks now that i def need to monitor it more closely, like girl what am EYE supposed to do 😭 i did manage to see my ent this morning tho and she said the infection has gone down (even tho it FEELS worse), however she also said my tonsils are inflamed so that's great 🤗

They may have been foolhardy much like her breathen, but surely they were never this thoughtless. She wasn’t sure if his line about ‘being a rodent’ in comparison to a street cat was serious or not. She was awful with dead-pan jokes, but something told her that he desperately wasn’t joking at all, “Oh bother, this was a mistake.”  She leaned back in part, somewhat taken with him; her lips tightening with tension as her jaw clenched slightly behind stony sealed lips.           “While I could do all of that and rend you limb from limb,” She spoke with a air of confidence, fully believing in her capability, “I’m more than certain that we both know well that I could-- I’ve little reason at this moment-- so take grace and do not test me for the solace I have provided you no matter how small.” Her tone reflected a profound sense of command, an order for him to step back without having to directly state it.             “If you take so poorly to that then I’ll add; you’re like a endearing pest. Is that better?“ Placing her hand on her hip, close to her blade just in case but never once reaching for the hilt, she awaited whatever else he had to back at her. She had even less of a reason to disclose her standing in all of this madness.
