The Power of Hands-Free Parenting
Imagine being able to go about your day, attend to household chores, or even take a stroll in the park, all while keeping your baby close and secure. This is the beauty of a baby carrier. Whether you're using an infant carrier for your newborn or a baby sling carrier as they grow, having your baby snuggled against you allows you to stay connected while gaining the freedom to move.
At Buttbaby.in, we understand the importance of this balance. Our range of baby carrier, from the best baby carriers on the market to specialized newborn carriers, is designed to meet the diverse needs of parents. Each carrier offers a blend of comfort, safety, and convenience, ensuring that both you and your baby enjoy the journey together.
Comfort for You and Your Baby
A key feature of any great baby carrier is comfort. For parents, this means finding a carrier that distributes weight evenly, reducing strain on your back and shoulders. For babies, it means a snug, ergonomic design that supports their natural posture. Whether you're using a newborn carrier or an infant carrier, comfort is crucial.
Our ergonomic designs at Buttbaby.in ensure that both you and your baby can enjoy extended periods of babywearing without discomfort. And for those longer outings, adding a seat belt extender to your carrier can enhance both safety and comfort, giving you peace of mind as you venture out.
Simplifying Daily Life
The best baby carriers do more than just hold your baby—they simplify your life. Picture the ease of navigating crowded places like airports, grocery stores, or public transport without needing to maneuver a bulky stroller. With a baby sling carrier, your hands are free to handle tickets, bags, or anything else you need, all while your baby remains close and secure.
For parents on the go, our baby carriers at Buttbaby.in are not only practical but stylish as well. Available in a range of designs and colors, they complement your wardrobe while making a statement about your commitment to your baby’s well-being.
Bonding Through Babywearing
One of the most profound benefits of using a baby carrier is the bond it fosters between parent and child. Having your baby close to your chest, feeling your heartbeat, and hearing your voice creates a sense of security and comfort for your little one. This closeness is especially beneficial during the early stages of development when newborns crave the warmth and familiarity of their parents.
Conclusion
Transforming parenthood is all about finding tools that enhance your experience while making your life easier. The right baby carrier does just that, offering comfort, convenience, and a deepened bond with your baby. Despite the chaos of raising kids, I believe that parents need a little zen once in a while. If you have a clingy baby like me, baby carriers are a big lifesaver! I remember during Thalie’s first few months, she only liked to be carried by me. I can’t even take a proper shower 😂  But once I had her in a baby carrier, she felt at ease and secured. It was really helpful!
Tumblr media
Babywearing
So why babywearing? Based on my research, babywearing has a lot of benefits, so let me mention some of them:
• It helps strengthen the bond between parent and baby because of the proximity.
• It aids in early language development.
• It helps decrease the risk of SIDS and flat-head syndrome.
• It helps boost breast milk production because of the close contact with baby.
• It allows parents to be hands-free and do more chores while still carrying the baby.
• It helps foster closeness through toddlerhood. Toddlers can be worn too, reminding them of their "home base," and allowing that bond to continue as they grow.
Tumblr media
Little Zen: A New Hybrid Carrier
Now, if you are looking for a baby carrier I’d like to share what we are currently using, the Little Zen, the Soft Baby Carrier. It’s a new hybrid carrier because it’s soft and light like a wrap and it’s safe and comfy like a carrier.
Tumblr media
Features
Let me share with you some of its features that I truly love:
• It is made with 100% Natural Cotton, which means that it is breathable and soft against baby’s skin
• This carrier is suitable for babies 7-33 lbs or until approximately 3 years of age, therefore, you can use it for a long time
• It is lightweight and easy to store in your favorite diaper bag
• It also has an adjustable head support for younger babies who still don’t have neck control
• It has a storage pocket, so you can store little things while on the go
• It has soft padded straps and padded hood, for you and your baby’s comfort
• It has seat adjustments from narrow to wide, to support baby’s legs
• It is made from 100% natural cotton that’s why it’s breathable and perfect for our humid weather
• And most important of all, it has a hip-healthy shape
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Positions
It also offers 4 carrying positions:
• front inward facing
• front outward facing
• hip carry, and
• inward facing back carry.
Talk about versatility! Daddy or Mommy can choose which position is the most comfortable for them and the baby.
Tumblr media
Babywearing at Home
With all these features, no doubt Thalie instantly falls asleep whenever I rock her in this carrier. That’s the joy of #ZenBabywearing even at home. 😴
Babywearing at home has made my life so much easier, from the time Thalie was a newborn until now. I can do multiple tasks while taking care of her simultaneously. Moreover, I can prepare meals, clean the house, and even do some blogging work while Thalie is seating comfortably with me.
Tumblr media
Price and Availability
For the price of only Php 3,999, I’d say it’s very affordable compared to its counterparts in the market. I also like the light gray color, too; it’s minimalist and will look good with any color. If you want another color, the Little Zen is also available in black.
Love to have one too? Visit www.littlezenbaby.com, and check out their Instagram and Facebook page for more info 😊

Parenting Goals List
Inspired by this post right here, I thought I’d share what my goals are when I become a parent/what I plan on doing! Just a heads up/disclaimer, on some of these, I’m not trying to copy the original post lol, we just happen to share some parenting goals/philosophies.
Cloth Diapering (With Special Circumstances Disposables)
I love the idea of cloth diapering! It is cost effective, environmentally friendly, and the cloth diapers are just so gosh darn cute! Now, what I mean by “special circumstances disposables”, is that if my baby is with grandma/grandpa or if we’re travelling far from home/for an extended amount of time as a family, it would be just a lot easier to use disposables for situations like those.
Breastfeeding
Given all of the benefits of breastfeeding, I’d want to do it! Now, I know this is only if my body is permitting because I know for some women it just doesn’t happen or it doesn’t happen for long, but I really hope I’ll be able to breastfeed! When it comes to being in public and doing it, if you wouldn’t feed an adult there, why feed a baby there? They’re people, too, and have a right to the space just as much as you do.
Extended Breastfeeding
Now, this may not be happening directly from the breast 100% of the time past like 1 or 1 1/2,  but I definitely want to include breast milk in their diet until around age 2 years old. This is recommended by the WHO as well as it being the traditional ways of my tribe so what would it hurt?
Sustainable/Eco-Friendly Baby Products
If you guys didn’t know, I’m all for all things sustainable and (for the most part) zero waste. This means baby- and kid-friendly soap and shampoo bars, or bottles we can reuse and make not single use. When it comes to toys, toys made of wood and fabric like cotton would definitely be a go-to. Now, if my kid really wants a Barbie, I’m gonna get the Barbie, but as far as the majority of their toys? I’d prefer them to be plastic-free.
Montessori Method
I’ve been passionate about this since I learned about it in class in high school (I took classes leading to a certification in Early Childhood Education for my state). Nurturing my child’s natural exploration and curiosity and love for learning and helping them learn independence is what I’m all about. For example, I want my kids in the kitchen with me at a young age helping in some way, cutting fruit with a wooden safety knife to mixing batter. I want this to build their confidence in the kitchen and eventually, by their teens, know how to cook for themselves completely without much assistance.
Babywearing
Not only is this sticking to some traditions when it comes to my culture, but it also is good for bonding and giving mama/dad some free hands. Babies usually, it seems, go to sleep while being worn and that just goes to show how comfy they often are.
 Baby-Led Weaning
From improving their hand-eye coordination to practicing fine motor skills, this has a lot of benefits that I honestly want my kids to reap. This approach to introducing solids is more realistic, in my opinion, and more like real life. Feeding yourself food that you chew? Sounds about right.
Natural Rubber Pacifiers
Another eco-friendly thing. Though, I also like them because they are natural and are BPA-free, as well as better for breastfed babies. Plus, do you really like the idea of your kid sucking on a piece of plastic, knowing all kids of chemicals go into it? I personally don’t.
Yoga and Meditation
This one is important to me. Not only does it teach kids mindfulness, which is something I think everyone could benefit from, but it gives kids a coping mechanism to utilize to process tough and/or overwhelming emotions. When it comes to the yoga, that’s a good bonding opportunity as well as a way to keep a child physically active.
Vaccines
I have one thing to say about this and one thing only: If you’d rather your child die from an illness than them possibly develop autism, what does that say about you as a parent?
Pumping/Part-Time Bottlefeeding
I do plan on staying at home/being home most of the time, but when it’s 3 am and I haven’t slept for a week, it’d be nice for the hubby to be able to get a bottle and feed baby and have that kind of bonding time together. Same thing for if a friend or family member is watching baby while I’m away. And, of course, I’d prefer glass ones with natural rubber or silicone nips, though if plastic ones are more breastfed baby friendly, then plastic it is.
Natural Home Water Birth
Now, I know this is more pre-parenting, but I think how you begin your journey to parenthood and set the tone for it is important. I want something completely without medication, intimate, hypnobirth-based, a cozy/dimly lit/comforting environment, music playing, and to be in the water of a tub. This is just what my goals are lol.
No Haircuts
It’s a cultural thing so, outside of trims to keep the hair healthy, I’d prefer if my girls and boys don’t cut their hair.
Cultural Involvement
Speaking of cultural things, I want my kids surrounded by their heritage from the time that they’re young. Not just my side either, but their father’s side as well. I want them to go to events, eat the food, drink the (nonalcoholic) drinks, be present.
This is a living document and I will add to it as I see fit. :)

3 Ways a Baby Sling Helps Make Breastfeeding Easier
Breastfeeding is a vital part of any mother’s relationship with her new baby. It can help foster a strong bond between mom and baby. Plus, breastfeeding provides the baby with vital nutrition as they progress through early development. August is National Breastfeeding Month. This month-long awareness movement was established as another way to highlight the importance and benefits of breastfeeding. It’s well-known that breastfeeding can be highly beneficial for you and your baby.
Tumblr media
At the same time, it’s also not uncommon for moms to experience challenges when it comes to breastfeeding their little ones. Babywearing solutions may help alleviate some of those challenges. Babywearing—using a baby sling or baby wrap—is an excellent way to keep your baby close. If you’re a new or soon-to-be mom or you just have questions about how you can make breastfeeding easier for your little one, here are three ways a baby sling can help. Baby Wraps Promote Closeness Babywearing brings you and your baby closer in a very literal way. Sling baby wraps, for instance, are made to support your infant by holding them close to your chest. This physical closeness is important for your baby’s development. Physical touch is critical. This closeness can even help foster emotional bonds from a very early age. In terms of physical closeness, one of the major benefits of wearing a baby wrap is directly related to breastfeeding. One of the challenges many moms face has to do with positioning their baby for comfortable feeding. Once you get the hang of using your baby wrap, it becomes second nature. And babywearing often can help ease that initial challenge. Sling baby wraps can help new moms position their baby in a supportive way that can give you and your baby an advantage, easing them into breastfeeding. Baby Wraps Offer Support When it comes to breastfeeding, reliable support can go a long way. When both mom and baby have physical support during breastfeeding, it can help make the whole experience a little easier. It’s easier for mom because she can better position and hold her little one at just the right height. It’s easier for your baby for that same reason. They can be better positioned to breastfeed, which can result in higher success in attachment and getting the nutrition they need. Improved support can also mean increased comfort. When mom and baby are comfortable, it can help reduce fidgeting or repositioning, which can disrupt the feeding process. Baby wraps improve support, add comfort, and help ensure your little one gets the most out of their feeding time—and their essential bonding time with mom. Baby Wraps Are Adjustable One of the best reasons to use a baby wrap, and to practice babywearing, is adaptability. Baby wraps are often adjustable. They can be adapted to meet different needs at different times. If you’re out and about and your baby needs to feed, it can take minimal effort to readjust to give yourself and your baby the best position at that moment, wherever you are. At the same time, if you’re out walking, you can adjust the baby wrap to offer secure support for you and your baby. When your little one feels secure, it not only makes mobility easier, but you’re both more comfortable. That’s super important because it can mean less strain on your body, so you can spend more time exploring the world with your baby! About Baby K’tan Comfortable and safe bonding with your baby should always be a priority for parents, and Baby K’tan makes it easy. Terrible misguidence
Today I had to get a two hour glucose test done to make sure my gestational diabetes has disappeared. Since Attie is basically an extension of myself and he goes wherever the boobs go, he accompanied me. To be clear, this test is only done at 7am by appointment only. I had to drag myself and my infant out of bed to sit in a lab for nearly three hours, drink the dreaded drink, and get 3 blood draws.
Our day started at 5:30am when I got Attie to dream feed in bed with me so we could both get some extra sleep and fill his belly at the same time. Then I changed his diaper like a ninja and put him in the car, still asleep. He made it through the first draw and then woke up in the waiting room ravenous. Of course I fed him, burped him, changed him, and played with him for the hour until the second draw. When the nurse came to get me I took his carseat in and sat him in it. Attie began to fuss and the nurse said, "See, now that's why you shouldn't hold him. You need to give that baby some independence. Let him be on his own. Let him cry. You're not raising a happy baby"
I didn't know what to say in the moment. I have done innumerous amounts of research on attachment parenting. I have read studies on how bonding with your baby, talking to him, wearing and cuddling him, responding to his needs, create a secure and independent child. I was so taken aback and also knew I had to let this woman put a needle in me, that I said nothing.
Now, it's not the nurse's fault. Maybe she doesn't know the benefits of attachment parenting, maybe she was given different advice from her mother and friends, maybe a health practitioner cautioned her to give her baby some space, maybe she wasn't hugged enough as a child. Who knows? Her opinion isn't the source of my frustrations. I am a new mom, yes, but I'm confident. I know I'm doing what I think is best for my son and "advice" from a doctor or nurse isn't going to sway me. However, some moms are struggling. They'll listen to any authoritative figure. They'll leave their babies to cry and need and want until the babies are so use to not having their needs met, they stop asking. They'll be praised for this, they'll be told they did the right thing. That just doesn't work for me.
When I look at Attie I see the happiest baby. Unless he's hungry or exhausted he's smiling, cooing, kicking his legs and waving his arms. Holding him constantly, wearing him, breastfeeding him on demand, and talking to him has helped him to feel secure even only at two months old. He knows I'm his mom and I'm going to take care of him no matter what he needs or when because that is the pattern I've established for him. Now, of course, I put him down on occasion. Sometimes it's not safe to babywear or I can tell he would be happy to lay on his play mat and kick around contently without me. Attachment parenting has done Attie incredible amounts of good and will continue to benefit him into forming healthy relationships well into adulthood.
I didn't say anything to the nurse who told me to put my baby down. I usually don't say anything to the well-meaning family members who tell me to leave him to cry, or worse:take him away from me when he's screaming. I try to politely smile and set a good example for my kids when strangers tell me to get a stroller or a bottle for "that kid". Then, I pull "that kid" in closer to my chest and tell him I love him. That I'm here for him now and always.

That’s a wrap?
Baby-wearing can give your babe a leg up on milestones, strengthen your bond and boost that new-mom confidence—it really is wins all around.
Tumblr media
As much as you’d like to spend all day, a day snuggling together with your little love, the unfortunate reality is that there are meals to cook, bills to pay, a hamper in desperate need of some relief—and maybe even a toddler testing his mom’s patience (along together with his ambidexterity on the walls). the great news is you'll keep your baby close and cross out items on your to-do list with just a touch of cloth and practice. However, babywearing (a term coined and trademarked by William Sears, MD, a breastfeeding and attachment parenting advocate) is quite a practical solution to urge stuff done. It’s an age-old tradition permanently reason—actually, for many good reasons. Read on to seek out out how carrying your bundle benefits you both.
Get physical
There’s a biological rationale behind your instinct to stay your newborn close. During the 40 weeks you spent toting your tot on the within, her permanent playlist was the steady drum of your heart and therefore the melody of her mama’s voice. She was comfortable in her cozy nook. it had been all she knew. But in a moment everything changed, and she or he found herself during a whole new world.
In her book BabyCalm:
A Guide for folks on Sleep Techniques, Feeding Schedules, and Bonding together with your New Baby, author Sarah Ockwell-Smith explains that in utero your baby is in touch with you one hundred pc of the time. But from the instant she’s born, it’s estimated that percentage drops to 40.
By holding your newborn to your chest through babywearing, you’re reminding her of her first home sweet home. That familiar heartbeat, though not as loud, is comforting—as is feeling your chest rise and fall and gently bouncing to the rhythm of your steady gait. sort of a song she’s heard before, it brings her back thereto place where she felt safe.
“I could come up with 1,000,000 reasons why you ought to consider babywearing,” says Tayler Gunn, owner of Wildbird and mom of two in Carlsbad, California. “But I’ll keep it to at least one that's important to me: Babywearing creates a womb-type feeling—making the womb-to-world transfer easier for babies and thus creating happier babies and happier mamas.”
Your babe’s tiny body remains to adjust to life on the surface, and your steady breathing and pulse can stimulate and regulate her systems, too. As she continues to grow and develop, her body can, in a way, sync up with yours.
Newborns thrive through touch, and babywearing maybe thanks to meet this need. Studies show that when mothers practice babywearing regularly, their children gain weight faster. Many experts believe this is often because your wee one is close enough for you to acknowledge signs of hunger (like rooting) directly. Plus, if you propose on nursing, employing a carrier can keep your tiny diner supported and covered for straightforward eating wherever you would possibly be.
Moreover, being touched and held frequently bolsters other areas of physical development, like eyesight and language. “[Babywearing] increases the time a baby spends during a state of ‘quiet alertness’—a time of contentment when she is going to learn the foremost,” writes Ockwell-Smith. When your mini sticks by your side, she gets to ascertain what you see, hear what you say, and be a more active participant in lifestyle.

Feeling fine
It’s not just your bub’s growing body that reaps the advantages of babywearing. employing a carrier also promotes emotional development, which translates to feeling happier and safer.
A study published within the journal Pediatrics compared two groups of mothers: Half were asked to wear their babies for a minimum of three hours each day and therefore the spouse wasn’t given any instructions about babywearing. The researchers found that infants who were a part of the primary group cried 43 percent less!
Some parents worry that constantly holding an infant will encourage her to demand attention and consequently become fussier, but studies reveal the other is true. You aren’t spoiling your tot by carrying her. Rather, you’re teaching her to trust you to stay here safe and comfortable during this unfamiliar world.
“With numerous benefits to babywearing, I honestly just love being on the brink of my baby … having [him] cuddle up and sleep on me while I'm going about my day,” Gunn says. “It’s become a special time that he and that I have. Now that he’s a touch older, he knows and gets excited when I’m close to wearing him, and [there’s] nothing better than that.”
Because of all the time, you two will spend together, you’ll still answer one another and strengthen your bond in small ways. When she is distressed—even if it’s just a whimper, you’re there to reassure her. When she coos, you won’t miss it, and you'll coo right back. Moments like these teach you ways to read your babe’s cues, so you recognize when she needs something before she has got to wail.
Understanding your newborn’s gestures and facial expressions allows you to speak without words (or tears!), which builds your confidence as a mother and reduces stress hormones at a time when feelings of postpartum depression can sneak in.
“I always know that [my son] wants and wishes me, but it’s times when he’s cuddled draw in the sling that I do know he loves me,” says Gunn. “[It’s] an exquisite thanks to getting to understand the new little babe in your life and for your babe to urge to understand you. Keep them close, and that I assure you they’ll love you the way you usually knew they might .”
