Was wondering if you could recommend any InuKag post-canon stories that include Moroha? Not canon to Yashahime's storyline, though I don't mind the characters.

Moroha: Terrible Comic Relief

One of the reasons that I dislike Moroha is because she's an offspring of Inukag, a pairing that I strongly dislike. In the trailer and first 3 episodes, they tried to make Moroha this expert in knowledge of people and another badass female character but failed and she got worse as episodes went on.

Bad Fighter

For the majority of the series, moroha has been known to be not taken seriously as she's barely fighting like towa and setsuna. She is able to take out average yōkai, including yawaragi, and tokotsu when she was using the beni but is awful at fighting at higher ranks especially Kirinmaru.

Ex. moroha tries to defeat kyuki with demon power and lost but didn't think to use spiritual power.

Instantly defeated by a venom serpent and drifting pond, yotsume, nikosen, homura, setsuna, kirinmaru, and etc.

2. Worst Traits

She's the embodiment of inuyasha's and kagome's worst traits, which includes their overconfidence.

She defeated so many average yōkai that she became so overconfident in her abilities and is easily defeated by most upper yōkai including kirinmaru.

Like her father and mother, she can be impulsive with her actions, such as attacking without thinking, which can leave her open after attacking an enemy.

In episode 24, she claims to kirinmaru that the power of her beni is new and improved and she doesn't have to fall asleep but that didn't change.

like inuyasha's annoying habit, she seems to lack a sense of modesty as she does not mind being seen naked.

like kagome, she has this annoying habit of butting into people's problems and wanting to be the mediator to towa and setsuna.

3. Annoying Speech

Everytime she takes out the beni, it's these same worthless words.

"With this rouge, I become Beniyasha, Destroyer of Lands. Tremble before the bloodthirsty dawn. Bear witness to your end if you so dare."

then annoyingly passes out.

4. Bad Luck

She's the comic relief of the sequel as she has the misfortune of having bad luck interfering with her paying her debts or when the twins are off to battle, she is either left behind, at the receiving end of a Curb-Stomp Battle, or her targets have No Body Left Behind. And she gets taunted for it when this happens.

Ex: homura, kinka and ginka, venom serpent, mizuchi, nikosen, kyuki, and especially kirinmaru.

She also gets constantly hit by objects and beings.

Ex. getting hit by her and setsuna's items, getting hit by totosai and jaken.

5. Lack of Abilities

She always uses the Iron Reaver Soul Stealer, blades of blood, crimson dragon wave, crimson backlash wave, sacred arrows, and the beni.

She doesn't have a weapon made from herself as totosai ignored her.

6. Rushed Backstory

In episode 16, they revealed her quickly rushed and contrived backstory.

In the beginning, towa, setsuna, and moroha prepare to fight yawaragi, who was only mentioned once in episode 14 and 15.

In the first flashback, yawaragi is ordering moroha to fight kodoku without her beni with the promise of a sword and as soon as she's done she realized she was abandoned. jyubei and yawaragi talk. When moroha tracks yawaragi to jyubei and demands the sword, only to be resold to him to pay off a debt with the sword.

In another scene, moroha battles yawaragi alone with konton, who made a deal with yawaragi.

In another flashback, yawaragi defeats bird yokai with armor after being tricked by a weasel demon and moroha using her beni and scratches her.

moroha using a new ability. yawaragi double crosses konton only to be killed the new ability at last minute. setsuna scares off konton. yawaragi has this forced and contrived emotional moment and yawaragi dies. then moroha has another forced and contrived emotional moment with towa and setsuna about being a shihanyo.

But why couldn't moroha run away as it's not like jyubei can carry her back to the caves and force her to hunt yokai.

7. Contrived Powerups

Win or lose, which she mostly loses, she constantly uses the Iron Reaver Soul Stealer, blades of blood, crimson dragon wave, crimson backlash wave, sacred arrows, and the beni and annoyingly yells.

She also receives longbow from her parents and is all of a sudden is an expert quickly.

8. Squeezed In

In episode 28, moroha was placed into a scene with sota and towa which came from episode 4 as they're probably fixing something.

moroha had no interest in learning about her parents now she does like setsuna and didn't even ask questions visiting her maternal side.

Do you think Moroha is annoying? To me she is. She is too noisy and annoying. She's too much like Kagome and barley has any traits of her father. She only got the hair and red kimono. Thats it. Personality wise......100% Kagome.. To me she's only like Inuyasha because of her alibies which is just a complete copy of his. Plus her beniyasha form. Its a shame cause at the time when the so called "squeal" was announced, I actually got pretty excited even know I hated seeing the devil spawn of Kagome (I 100% hate Kagome) and I was very disappointed when it came out. I know most fans says the manga is better. I seen some pictures of it. But I dont want to waste my time reading it and get disappointed again like how I was with the series. But what what do you think of Moroha? I love your blog by the way! I love Kikyo so much! It really breaks my heart that to this day that the fandom still says she's the "worst character in the series" She deserves o much more!

I haven't seen much of the show, but from what I've seen, yes, Moroha very irritating to me. In the 1st episode of YashaHime, her voice was irritating to me,I didn't watch much… I watched until she left her daughter and stayed with Inuyasha, both absorbed into some pearl I dropped series. Moroha has a lot Kagome's traits... But I feel sorry for her.

Anon.. the manga is better because it contains Inu//Kag that's why it's better and I'm giving you this conclusion from my observation when the inukags complained and then "manga is better" because I've seen many moments with inu//kag… that's why. .. Hmm… that's how I see it. Personally, I haven't read a single chapter of this "work" for me, it's a stupid fanfic not worth my time.

And so, if Rumiko wanted to.. she would give them a child, or show that in the months that have passed since the events, Kagom is pregnant, but she was not pregnant and Rumiko did not give them a child. It's just a very low-level fanfic for people to extract money from the fans. Fanfic must sell well.

That's really strong anon, and I smiled. Well. It's not Moroh's fault she has such a mother. I heard she treated Moroha badly the first time they met after all these years or something, so I feel a bit sorry for her because it's not her fault she has this devil mother who thinks of a man more than a her baby.

Yes, I think Kagome is a terrible mother, not because I hate her, but because she chose Inuyasha over her own child. She preferred to leave the baby and go with Inuyasha. She gave her daughter away just like that and went with Inuyasha. I can't understand it.

I think she should be pitied because instead of staying with her daughter, Kagome chose a husband and orphaned her own daughter. This is something I don't understand and there is no explanation for it. But on the other hand, Sunrise showed her as the mother I imagined, jealous, choosing a husband over her own child.

I can't fully judge Moroha, because I don't know her well. In short, I see her as annoying, but I also feel sorry for her because her mother chose a man over her daughter.

I'm glad there are more people who hate Kagome <3 and thank you!! I am glad that you like my blog.It's a sad reality anon.. Kikyou will be hated forever…. it's sad.

Toonami Weekly Recap 11/12/2022

Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun EP#02 (15) - Capital of the Unreturned: Fascinated by the sixth layer, Riko, Reg, and Nanachi do some exploring and find that the layer has a hot, desert-like environment littered with numerous ruins, and is also populated by extremely dangerous wildlife. Wanting to let Nat and the others know she's okay, Riko attempts sending another mail balloon to the surface, but it is quickly intercepted by flying wildlife. All the while, the trio are quietly observed by a mysterious being. The next day, Riko wakes up to find that her White Whistle has been stolen. Nanachi discovers clues left behind by the thief, who was able to recover the mail balloon, and snuck into their camp without alerting any of them. Reg picks up the scent of the thief and the follow it until they reach a large structure with a single entrance. With no other leads, the trio enter the structure, whose entrance is protected by a force field that repels the Curse. The mysterious being continues to watch them. Inside the structure, the trio find a village populated by what are apparently Hollows. One of them, Majikaja, greets the trio and agrees to take them to Riko's White Whistle.

Yashahime: The Second Act EP#38 (14) - Kirinmaru of the Dawn: Kirinmaru tells Moroha about Akuru that he is around since the Age of the Gods in which she saw him again as she remembered what Rion said back at Mount Musubi, she also refused to get the pinwheel, since her uncle Sesshomaru back at the ruin of her grandmother's mansion. A furious Moroha challenges Kirinmaru to a duel but ends up being beaten by the Beast King of the East with relative ease, despite the new-and-improved strength of her Beniyasha form and advancement in her spiritual abilities. Having finally been released from the silver-scale curse, Rin is told to remain safe within the Sacred Tree of Ages under Jaken's watchful eye as Sesshomaru exits to assist his half-niece in taking down his late father's rival. Towa and Setsuna leave the recently departed Lord Nanahoshi's mansion to reunite with their human mother Rin but decide to help their cousin Moroha take down Kirinmaru. It is then that Sesshomaru emerges, and he and Kirinmaru again engage in a battle causing the very earth and heavens to resound once again. Meanwhile, Rion makes the decision to put an end to her own father, fully aware that by doing so would mean Riku's demise as well, being Kirinmaru's incarnation made from his broken right horn. Riku is not worried, as he has been prepared for such a moment for some time now and cherishes the time, however brief, that he had spent with Towa. To further assist her in her mission, Rion asks that Riku take her back to Mount Musubi. Hearing shaking from outside, Rin and Jaken exit the Sacred Tree of Ages just as Sessh?maru has taken the hit for his twin daughters' and half-niece from the Bakuseiken's immensely powerful and lethal Demon Fireball attack, which gradually begins to drain him of his very lifeblood essence (haku) but not before Sesshomaru uses his remaining strength to send the Half-Demon Princesses into the Black Pearl to protect them from Kirinmaru. Gravely injured and weakened, Sessh?maru manages to mask his presence as his haku is gradually drained from him. At the Border of the Afterlife near Toga's tomb, Moroha reunites with Inuyasha and Kagome, confirming she was separated from them when she was an infant.
