Ayurveda School in India | Uvas Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a traditional system of drug that began in India more than 5,000 years ago. It is based on the idea that the body, mind, and spirit are interconnected and that good health depends on a balance between these three elements.
In India, there are many schools that teach Ayurveda, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These schools are recognized by the government of India and follow a standardized curriculum set by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM).
The Ayurveda curriculum includes subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. In addition to classroom lectures, students also gain practical experience through clinical training and internships.
Ayurveda schools in India are typically affiliated with a hospital or clinic, where students can observe and participate in the treatment of patients under the supervision of experienced practitioners.
After completing their education, graduates can obtain a license to practice Ayurveda from the CCIM and can work as doctors or researchers in the field of Ayurveda.
Ayurveda has gained popularity in recent years as an alternative form of medicine and is recognized as a system of medicine in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

All the pretty asks. Mwahahahahaha!!!
As you requested, here are all of them <3 ...even if you only asked for payback lol
angel; is there anyone you’d do anything for? Yes, a small few.
galaxy; what fascinates you? A great many things inspire my fascination, first I am intensely fascinated with you @mishaps-and-mixtapes , otherwise in general I'd say history, traveling, the universe, books, the human mind, relationships, Ayurveda, writing, parenting.
melody; favorite artists? I have a lot of favs, a list thats far too long to put here. I will answer who I've been listening to most in the last month or two - Ella Mai, Kehlani, H.E.R., Erick the Architect, Mahalia, 6Lack, Banks, DaniLeigh, J Cole, Sade
silk; what outfit makes you feel confident? A pretty dress usually ups the confidence level but I can also feel great in a pair of jeans that hug my curves and a tank top. Ooh, also lingerie! Nothing says confidence like a lace chemise or corset and garter belt.
rose; favorite flower? Lilies, sunflowers, and daisies. And cherry blossoms.
sun; favorite season Autumn, but Spring is a close second.
film; favorite movie/tv show? This topic/question requires a few blunts and an overnight discussion. I can't even narrow it down.
gorgeous; what do you like in a person? Everything that you are.
diamond; favorite color? Purple, teal, mauve
infatuation; first crush? Oh, can I even remember the first crush? I'm pretty sure it was in elementary school, I don't even remember the kids name, but I remember he was funny and made me laugh.
dream; how long do you sleep on average? hahahahahaha. Oh, is this a serious question??? I get a few hours whenever my eyes refuse to stay open any longer.
brilliant; what celebrity do people say you look like? Um, no one has ever really said I look like a celebrity.
perfume; favorite scent? You, yes you are definitely my favorite scent.
fleece; have any pets? A little scrapper kitten, who is as adorable as he is mean.
pigment; what color is your hair naturally? if you could dye it any color which one would you choose? Naturally dark brown. I've had my hair a ton of different colors. I really like a dark red or purple.
charcoal; do you have a good relationship with your parents? Its always been kind of complicated as both my parents have issues with substance abuse, but I was really close with my mom before she passed. I don't have a bad relationship with my dad currently but he's not a reliable person and not someone I turn to during times of need. He is great for helping with some bigger home related projects when he's around.
ocean; do you take a yearly vacation? I've been trying to make it a tradition to go somewhere once a year, and the last couple years I've made it happen.
murky; biggest fear? Something devastating happening to any of the kids. Death in general, even knowing it's an inevitable part of life.
devotion; are you taken? Answered but I'll answer again. I belong completely to @mishaps-and-mixtapes
lingerie; what do you wear to bed? Depends on the night, but typically very little, tank and panties.
daydream; best memory? In the delivery rooms when they put the baby in my arms and get to see their sweet faces for the first time.
joy; best feeling you’ve ever experienced?  Love and understanding. I've only truly felt that in a relationship with you. It's beyond comparable.
masque; what’s your skincare routine? I wash my face lol. I've gotten better about using moisturizer and sunscreen since moving to a desert area. Holy dry skin batman.
valentine; best gift you’ve ever received? I appreciate a thoughtful gift, but they aren't my love language. I'd rather make memories than have something material I think.
parchment; favorite book? I can't pick one favorite. The best book I read in the last year was A Gentleman in Moscow.
garden; do you have a garden? plants?  A lot of plants. I'd love a garden, to grow my own fruits and vegetables. Oooh, a greenhouse!
oasis; dream destination? Ah, many! Petra, Tibet, Japan, Rome, Bali...
sense; best subject? favorite subject? I was always good at Math and English, but I love Psychology & Philosophy
footprints; do you want kids? There's a few running around and want more with you, let's practice making them.
rainbow; what’s your sexuality? Straight, with a sprinkle of bicurious.
sweater; do you prefer loose or baggy clothes? Isn't loose and baggy the same thing?
nail laquer; punk or pastel? I swing both ways.
1975; if you could time travel to any time period, what would it be and why? Hm. Maybe the Renaissance period in Florence Italy for the appeal of the cultural and intellectual richness with figures like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Galileo.
tattoos; do you have/want and tattoos and piercings? I have a lot of tattoos, I stopped counting after getting to double digits. I also used to have more piercings. I'd love to have them redone and intend to.

FEEDBACK (was the original title for a writing course I once did. Am reposting because I need to start somewhere but Im cringing but would also sort of appreciate feedback)
Tumblr media
Feedback is judgement. Feedback is fear. Feedback is Failure. Feedback is shame. Feedback is the paralysis of all hope. It is the execution of excitement about my stupid doomed dreams. Feedback is the death of me.
Examples of excruciating feedback experiences and endurances that prove my point
Having to do a personality assessment test whilst at college. Answered it honestly, although I had no idea who I was back then…so did I really answer it honestly?. The feedback said that I was either a psychopath or a genius.
Remembering all the OCD type actions I had to do before lesson observations by senior members of staff whilst I was a teacher. Praying the same prayer over and over in the car until I got to the school. “Please don’t make me fail, please don’t make me fail, please don’t make me fail. Amen’ The exhausting and tortuous repetition of actions that if not done would completely mean crushingly negative feedback. No wonder I was so exhausted post assessment as the adrenalin wore off.
Feedback from the kids I taught. Their feedback can be the worst. You’re not really a proper person to them if they don’t like you, which in their minds translates to ‘I can destroy you with my actions and my words’.  I don’t hold any ill feeling towards those that did destroy me though. It was all my fault. I can still envisage my voice dissipating into the air as I tried to teach some of them. Like making the motion of speech but with no sound. It was when I realised I was becoming partly invisible
Ofsted inspections for someone like me with serious confidence issues. Utterly terrifying
Deciding to leave teaching ten years ago and witnessing the changing feedback from people as the years have worn on. Initial understanding and sympathy breaking down into seeing you as a life loser as you struggle to find something else to do.
Presentations. Having to do a presentation after ‘Brain Boy’ had done his. Brain boy was the cleverest person on my university course.I wonder what he is doing now? Anyhow he did this amazing, astute, confident presentation… and then it was my turn. Even my best friend who was sat next to me said it was actually painful to endure. I was so shy and nervy, I couldn’t breathe and so couldn’t talk. Looking back I can see that I had a sort of panic attack. Someone should have taken me aside. The feedback was…
A few years later I had to do another presentation. God help me I filled my water bottle with gin and drank it whilst waiting to do my presentation. I honestly can’t say how it went. There was a lot of laughter, that’s all I remember but I also recollect that  the tutor was called out just as I started mine. That had to be divine intervention. Im not sure if anyone could see that I was drinking. How drunk was I? This was probably my worst experience. You’ll never meet me so i can tell you about it. Not many people know about it. I’m too ashamed. Someone should have taken me aside
Being told by your successful Asian father that you are a disappointment as you didn’t become a doctor like him but also being told its ok because you have children and they’re a lot of work.
Trying to become an artist and doing quite well and loving it, although NOT making any money. Feedback from Father: Being asked by your father if you are making any money from doing your art. Giving up on the art.
Trying to learn about Ayurveda at a high level, thinking about practising it. Bemusement from father at ‘you and your ayurveda’. Can feel myself withdrawing from my interest in ayurveda.
My own running commentary feedback on my life. My daily feedback: Middle aged. Getting older. Weak minded. Confused. Really confused. Lost opportunities. Missed opportunities. Unable to focus. Unable to work out what i want to do. Not being able to do what I want to do. Heavy thoughts weighing down my whole body like an anchor at the bottom of the ocean. Full of regrets. Living a fantasy life. Escaping to my fantasy life. Stereotypical middle aged person who will soon be old and covered in dust in the corner of the room and in the corner of people lives. Crying. Staring. Loser. Bored with my own negativity. Wondering if my negativity is a safety blanket keeping me still, unheard, unseen. Wearing more makeup to cover up Wondering if there is a magical solution to life misery
I need a cup of tea now. This is awful. I hope you don’t feel awful. Bet you want to walk away and make tea too now. Sorry

Hana Lee: Duchess of Krysanthe
Tumblr media
(Hana Lee: Kaitlin Marianelli)
I go into the story of how Hana becomes the Duchess of Krysanthe here.
The Province:
• The Duchy of Krysanthe was once known as the Kingdom of Aurelia, the prosperous Gilded City ruled by Queen Annelyse Adair. It was rumoured to be so prosperous during the Middle Ages that it is said the palace hosted parties every day and the queen kept a peacock in her menagerie.
• It is named Krysanthe after the golden crocus flower that grows in plenty there, and to ensure there is still a connection to its old name (the Khrys half of the name refers to gold).
• After the destruction brought about by a dragon under the control of a woman from the Foundaries, the kingdom struggled to get back to its full prosperity. However even now, the duchy it has become remains one of the most consistently sound in terms of finances and exports.
• Their sigil is the Monarch Butterfly (🦋) and their motto is Respice, aspice, prospice (We look to the past, the present and the future).
• They are known around Cordonia as pioneers in medicine. Allopathy-wise, one of the best medical colleges is theirs, and they have various world-class hospitals and medical practices. Many of the Cordonians that have become famous medical professionals are from Krysanthe.
• But besides this Krysanthans are even more famous for their ability to balance a respect for both allopathic and traditional medicine. In memory of their most famous Queen, herbal medicines of different cultures (Thai and Chinese herbal medicine, Ayurveda, the use of basalt stones for healing massages) are found most here.
• While Castelserraillan is the champion of the wine trade, Krysanthe is equally successful in the manufacturing and export of fruit liquors. Their drinks are known for being powerful and highly spiced. Three Hells' Fire is often reserved for special occasions.
• Street music and art is more common here than in any other place in Cordonia, and is highly encouraged. Much of their tourist revenue comes from the innovative and fantastic performances.
The Duchess:
• Before Hana Lee was assigned the duchy, it had been functioning pretty well but was mostly unnoticed as a province. Like Valtoria, it didn't have a lot of the clout or connections outside its borders to get the Crown's attention.
• There were complaints as a result, which Prince Liam heard and understood, and he realized when he became King that this is one of the places he would need to have a trustworthy representative for. The people of the province were happy for this change as well, especially considering Lady Hana Lee's performance at the social season and the World Tour.
• Hana Lee know the expectations were mostly to provide a charming face for the duchy to the court and take their issues to the Crown, but she has never been one for half-measures and immediately toured the province to see where she could be involved and where it was best to leave the power to her people.
• She understood that along with representation they needed more funding for PR and name recognition throughout the country, so she worked to ensure their strengths were widely know, and hosted events to ensure their pet projects weren't missed by people beyond the duchy.
• As part of Queen Esther's education-enhancement initiatives, Duchess Hana worked extensively on the curriculums in Krysanthian schools and worked with her team to identify gaps and scope for improvement. Along with her wife, Duchess Kiara of Castelserraillan, she was able to note where voices of colour were missed or ignored, and fought to have them included. The texts she campaigned for included a few from her own duchy.
• Ever since the tensions with Auvernal began during King Constantine's rule, the import of basalt stones has been much lower than it used to be, as that country was the nearest and best option for the product. Hana made several diplomatic trips, after the current monarchs were replaced and King Liam made new commitments to the more-trustworthy new monarch - and managed a deal that would ensure her Krysanthian people didn't have to look outside of Europe for basalt stones.
• While she does compose music in secret, the one great benefit Hana got from doing music scores is getting connections with people in film. She engages a documentary filmmaker in a project to present Krysanthe's street culture. The film goes on to win many awards at foreign film festivals, and recognition for their art intensifies.
• She makes a lot of conservation efforts as well. She advocates for practices that would allow a minimum of chemicals in the growing of the foliage and spends significant time and money on ensuring their food products are of the best quality, especially the fruits that are so famous for the liquor they can produce.
• 15 years after she became Duchess, the Hana Lee Academy of Music was built in her honour.

The Faces Who Made Kerala Proud
Kerala boasts the highest literacy rate in India and as per the latest census it has a projection of 94%. With the sobriquets ‘God’s Own Country’, ‘Land of Coconut’ and ‘Spice Garden of India’, Kerala has always been in the limelight from the perspective of tourism.
