YouTube keeps prompting me to check out music reaction videos and... oh my god. I need to stop watching them. For the good of my blood pressure. Because these people are SO IGNORANT.
It's all these folks in their 20s who consider themselves "music professionals", vocal coaches and producers and rappers and so on, doing a first-time blind watch/listen of music from decades before they were born, and they are SO CLUELESS IT CAUSES ME PHYSICAL PAIN.
Like, they have no idea what genres are. One guy called a song "bluegrass" because it involved an acoustic guitar being picked at one point.
They have no idea how music video production is done. Another guy kept saying in total awe that he's certain "everything in this video is INTENTIONAL!!!" (yeah. dude. that's like. the entire point of a music video?)
They have no idea how songwriting works. This other guy listened to Fleetwood Mac and when he heard the line "The songbirds are singing like they know the score" he paused it and said, as if this were some super clever point he was making: "I wonder if that means they know the musical score, or if it means, like, keeping score in a relationship?" I literally screamed a little bit. IT MEANS BOTH, DUDE. IT FUCKING MEANS BOTH. ***THAT IS THE ENTIRE POINT***
Yet another dude got BLOWN AWAY by the concept of... harmony. Singing harmony. He was like, "Do you hear that?!? He's singing this one line, and then he's simultaneously singing the same words with higher notes in the background to make it richer and chunkier???"
They get everything wrong. The lyrics they've just heard (which, okay, that's fair if you didn't go look them up right away), the genres, the instruments, the gender of a singer, even the era of clothing people are wearing in a music video.
And don't get me wrong: I find these react-ers charming, in a way. They tend to be very open-minded and ready to be impressed by almost anything, and that's really sweet and lovely and we could use more of that genuine appreciation and positivity in the world. (God knows I'm certainly not supplying it 😅) And I'm thrilled that they're choosing to seek out older music and explore the rich back catalog of music history and educate themselves on their own time. So nothing against them personally.
It's just that, in the larger scheme of things, it's frightening and discouraging to me to see that today – in the 21st century, with the internet at hand 24/7, with so much information available to us SO easily – people can still remain so ignorant. And please note I don't mean just your average layperson; I'm specifically talking about these young people who present themselves as music experts. That's specifically why I'm expecting them to know at least a LITTLE bit about music, music history, music theory, etc.
I could just keep citing examples of stuff that made me want to bash my head on the wall. One guy said "This song is from... 1973. Y'all had music back then?! I'm kidding, I'm kidding. But really?"
Another guy heard a song with a famous string part and was like "I recognize this sample from another song! I wonder which of these two artists used the sample first?" except... it wasn't a sample. In the original song he was reacting to, the artist in question had literally hired a string orchestra to come play that riff for this particular song and it was so original and cool that it became very influential and was then later used in some other song where he'd first encountered it. But he had assumed by default it couldn't possibly be original; he thought it must be a sample.
One guy – who calls himself a professional music producer – was blown away by the concept of a guitar solo. A guitar solo.
I just... I want to cry. HOW. How can you call yourself a professional in the music industry while being THIS ignorant about music?!? It simply boggles the mind.
Again, I don't mind your average Joe on the street being this clueless – most people are not such big music nerds as I am, and that's understandable – but if that were me, I wouldn't 1) call myself a music pro, 2) make music reaction videos and put them online for the world to see, and 3) reveal the full extent of my ignorance in said videos. I would try to be humble and keep my mouth shut and ears open and LEARN.
I'm sorry but sometimes I feel such despair. Someone being clueless about the music of 40 or 50 years earlier while living in the 80s or 90s, okay, that's fair. But today? In 20-fucking-25? You've got all the information in the WORLD literally at your fingertips and you still listen to Stevie Nicks for the first time and say, "Damn, this chick could almost be a rock singer"?!?
Back to listening to my 1920s music. I cannot stand the present day.
#cosmo gyres#personal#o hear my sad complaint#musicblogging#the weird thing is that i tend to get the impression that most of these people making reaction videos are intelligent folks#they're ignorant but smart#they sometimes have great takes on things when they do understand them#they sometimes have a really good ear for what's happening in a song – better than mine tbh#so it's not like they're stupid. it's not like they're incapable of doing better#they are young and sharp and articulate and completely ignorant#i don't know if that's worse or better#it implies that they would be perfectly capable of understanding all this stuff just fine#but that they've consciously chosen not to ever bother looking back into the past and learning from it#perhaps because they think there's nothing there that could be applicable and useful to them in the present day?#...but then when they go back and encounter classic rock or whatever#they are always like 'YOOOOOO THIS IS BLOWING MY MIND! THIS IS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD!'#in reaction to like... every perfectly average oldies song#so clearly there IS lots of stuff from back then that's worth checking out (as i am always telling anyone who will listen)#anyway i think this is probably just part of the bigger current trend to set yourself up as an 'expert' and 'public personality'#no matter if you're just some average joe. now you too are a Content Creator with fans and supporters#and so it's inevitable that ignorance will end up getting showcased#call me old at heart but i just. cannot imagine setting myself up in a position of authority#and broadcasting my thoughts and opinions to the world#without having at least a PRETTY FUCKING SOLID grasp on the topic at hand#because like... if i don't already know my shit? then it's time to go read and listen and learn. not to lecture others#is this like... becoming a revolutionary take?#anyway IGNORE MEEEEEEEE i just had to get this shit off my chest#it's been bothering me for so long and i wish yt would stop prompting me to watch that crap (and i would stop succumbing)

had a conversation w the new head of my department about critical fandom studies and how I can incorporate discussions about fandom racism into my thesis (via auto/ethnography as an example) eek I'm so excited for this project
cus it's basically going to be like part 1: textual analysis of IWTV and LDPDL as queering the gothic heroine with a focus on Blackness and gender + part 2: audience analysis (particularly the dissonance between the source materials didactic approach to tackling patriarchy and white supremacy and the fandoms willful ignorance of the text as it exists and otherwise racist/sexist/etc reactions)
#we talked about problems in fan studies where its overly complementary + assumes fan spaces r somehow in a bubble outside the material#realities of patriarchy white supremacy etc + how fan studies as a discipline has only recently shifted to a more critical approach#anyway im getting hype for this. hope to turn it into a video essay#also. me accidentally going to a uni w the best gothic studies department like half the people i read are just my lecturers like thats crazy

Spent a half hour typing a speech about studying in the tags of a post 👍 I'm a normal person who's had a normal time in the academic system
#personal#i'm lying i'm still mad they showed us videos like 'This African Child Walks 4 Hours Per Day for Water. please stop texting in class'#instead of actually like. teaching us helpful tools for studying or time management or whatever#i've done 5 years of higher education on top of middle-school-high-school etc and i had the worst time in hs by Far#partly because i was having a hard time at home but partly because there were teachers there who genuinely thought we were beneath them#and tried to guilt punish and lecture us into being the perfect students they imagined we could be#like it was our fault we were perpetually stressed and tired#the best teachers recognised that teenagers are just people and tried to keep things fair for us without getting too personal#i've found uni to be impersonal at best#but at least full of people who love their subjects and want to share their enthusiasm for it#not necessarily educators and not necessarily enthusiastic about interacting with students#(although certainly there are teachers who are and put a lot of heart into it)#but at the very least: very passionate and able to see the need to tell more ppl about the thing they're passionate about#academia is a hell of its participants' making and once you realise that you have to have compassion for the ppl stuck in it with you

my brother got covid because he's a college professor and there's not much he can do to mitigate exposure when he has 200+ students per lecture. he's got a baby at home, so he does his best, but.
the governmental website for covid information is now propaganda. not a joke, not hyperbole, not an exaggeration: it's genuinely the definition of propaganda. this is biased misinformation determined to push a political stance. it is being hosted on a government server. it looks like something you'd find in a "top 10 weird internet conspiracy stories (and their origins)" youtube video.
my brother called me when he saw it. he had me type it into google. for a second i legitimately thought that i had typed something wrong. we have both taught college: we have both said "a .gov site is usually a reliable resource." i just stared at my phone for a long, long time.
i thought about how when i was a kid, conspiracy theories were mostly fun and a little spooky. unserious. i remember reading some long, complicated website about how avril lavigne is dead. how bigfoot is real. it used to be funny-and-a-joke.
over seven million people (globally) have died from covid. america has the highest death rate with over 1.2 million people.
the thing is - every time a person dies from something like a mass shooting or poverty or treatable illness - we are told don't make it political. we are told it's just something that can happen. we are told it's sad but what can you do!
the president of the united states is using a government website to try to erase the very-real deaths that he personally caused due to a complete mismanagement of the pandemic. the president of the united states is using a government server to host propaganda, undermine science and medicine, and encourage distrust amongst his followers.
nothing is going to happen. nobody's gonna, like, do anything about it. it's a thursday today, and we are just going to move on from this like we have been moving on from everything else.
yesterday my brother was outside walking his dog, mask included. a guy in a truck pulls up and shouts something about covid and whatever the fuck else. my brother has a good sense of humor, described it to me as enthusiastic! i hadn't ever been catcalled before, this was new and therefore thrilling! i do see why you hate it, though. like. i have actual covid, does he want me to cough on him?
my brother doesn't get extra time off work anymore, because the cdc practically doesn't exist. my brother said i'm not exposing 200 students to covid. his boss shrugged and said: who cares? they're going to get it eventually anyway. like it isn't a pandemic.
like it's just a fucking thursday, and who cares about it.
#warm up#spilled ink#i've been really not doing well about this particular thing#ONE MILLION.#hcps are traumatized forever#gen z is traumatized forever.#ugh i gotta stop typing tags now or i'll blackout in rage. but just know that. i knowwww the list is longer than this

Essential Resources in Anesthesiology: From Residency to Practice

Being an anesthesiologist among the medical fields is adventurous yet challenging. While a medical student is considering an anesthesia residency, or an existing anesthesia resident, or a practicing anesthesiologist looking to stay abreast, the right resources available during the process have been highly critical. Discussed here, in detail, are a mix of the types of tools and materials that can assist your journey from residency to practice.
Finding the Best Route: Anesthesia Residency Programs
When selecting a anesthesia residency programs, you are setting up the foundation of your career. These programs provide you with:
The most advanced training facilities
Exposure to cases that may be diverse
Mentorship by experienced professionals
Some of the best anesthesia residencies can be found at Stanford University, Duke University, and the University of Pennsylvania. When looking for a program, things to consider should include adequate research opportunities, sufficient clinical exposure, and fellowship opportunities placed well.
Visual Learning: Applying Videos to Anesthesia
Anesthesia videos have become an integral part of the modern medical education. These are video resources that provide:
Sequential demonstrations
Operations explication
Case studies
Some popular destination for anesthesia training videos includes the following:
Education portal by The American Society of Anesthesiologists
AnesthesiaHub
MedCram
These anesthesia training video lectures may complement your traditional education and hopefully guide you on practical applications of anesthesiology principles.
Knowledge Base Creation: Must Read Anesthesia Books
There is an increasingly strong basis in theory that leads into the successful practice of anesthesiology. This list includes the anesthesia books that every resident should read:
“Anesthesia” by Ronald D. Miller: This is an all-around text that covers all aspects of anesthesiology
“Stoelting’s Pharmacology & Physiology in Anesthetic Practice”: This is essential to learn any pharmacological aspects of anesthesia
“Kaplan’s Cardiac Anesthesia”: This is for those interested in cardiac anesthesiology.
In addition to those mentioned above some of the best anesthesia books for medical students include,
“Anesthesia Secrets” by James Duke
“Handbook of Clinical Anesthesia” by Barash et al.
These resources are widespread regarded as among the best books for anaesthesia pg preparation and the early residency years.
Coming to Terms with Technology: Digital Resources
Anesthesiology education has become digital, now from textbooks and videos to websites and apps with interactive case studies, question banks, and virtual simulations. Interactive case studies, question banks, and virtual simulations are all now widely used on websites and apps. Because of the take-and-run learning practices, the real-time approach makes itself available to busy residents.
Conceptual Approach to Anesthesia
The field of anesthesiology has been changing its trends increasingly; traditional resources are good foundations but cannot handle anything in this regard. Conceptual Anesthesia is a recent step into that game. This clearly focuses on core concepts and their actual applications, where theory and practice are brought together into one place.
Key features of Conceptual Anesthesia
Integrated learning modules that connect different aspects of anesthesiology
Regular updates reflecting the latest research and guidelines.
Self-assessment and skill-building interactive tools
Combine Conceptual Anesthesia with your learning cycle to more fully understand anesthesiology principles as they relate to complexities of practice in the clinical arena.
Continuing Education: Strengthen Your Practice
Residency is a wonderful learning time, but one’s education doesn’t end there. Practicing anesthesiologists must remain current in this field. A few of the most valuable resources for staying current include:
Journals (e.g. Anesthesiology, Anesthesia & Analgesia)
Online CME courses
Societies to join — e.g. American Society of Anesthesiologists
Conclusion: Your Road to Anesthesiology Success
You will find that the above list of resources will support you as you make decisions about your anesthesia residency programs and stay current with developments in the practice of anesthesiology. As a practicing anesthesiologist, success in anesthesiology is derived from theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and constant learning.
Want to raise the bar for anesthesiology education? Then come and discover what Conceptual Anesthesia has in store for you, and how the new learning approach can take your learning up a notch and arm you with the strength to pursue your anesthesiology career in the best possible way.

What is the difference between CCU & ICU?
The world of healthcare is quite complex, especially in terms of research that demands acute medical attention.
Because each department has different functions and uses different terminology, understanding all of them can be incredibly reassuring.
Among all, today we will discuss the two terminologies: the Critical Care Unit (CCU) and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Because many get confused between both at first, but each serves distinct roles in patient recovery and healthcare management.
CCU
CCU stands for cardiac care unit and is often called critical care unit. It is a specialized unit in the hospital that is designed to take care of patients with cardiovascular or pulmonary conditions.
The environment within a CCU features advanced monitoring systems that provide continuous surveillance of each patient’s cardiac health. This allows professionals to immediately detect any changes in heart function. Patients in the CCU may have experienced:
Heart attack
Arrhythmia
Heart failure
The CCU’s healthcare professionals include:
Physicians
Nurses
Respiratory therapists and others with specialized training in critical care medicine.
Health Issues Managed in CCU
As its name suggests, patients in a CCU are typically those who have heart-related issues. A few issues are listed below:
Heart attacks
Unstable angina
Cardiac arrhythmia requiring monitoring and interventions
Heart failure needs intensive care
Post-operative care following cardiac surgery
Provide specialized treatments to support heart health and recovery.
ICU
ICU stands for intensive care unit, which provides 24-hour care and treatment for critically ill patients.
It is possible to treat a wide variety of conditions in the intensive care unit thanks to a wide array of medical equipment and technologies, such as mechanical ventilators, which support or replace spontaneous breathing, and continuous renal replacement therapy machines for patients with acute kidney damage.
In an ICU, healthcare experts monitor life-sustaining functions, including heart rate, breathing, and blood pressure. In some hospitals, specialized ICUs are designed to treat specific types of patients. The specialization includes:
Cardiac ICUs
Neuro ICUs
Pediatric ICUs
ICU Healthcare professions include:
Intensivists
Critical care nurses
Respiratory therapists
Health Issues Managed in ICU
The scope of the ICU is broader than that of the CCU, assisting patients with critical health issues, such as:
Severe respiratory distress or failure
Multi-organ failure
Complex surgeries that require postoperative critical care
Serious infections
Traumatic injuries
Above, we tried to define both the terms so that you can differentiate them. However, if you want more detailed information and have any doubts, enroll in our Critical care online courses now.

Your eyes roll to the back of your head as you try to recall the events that lead you to get your brains fucked by your professor. He caught you filming a video for your Onlyfans in his class. So, he took your phone and asked you to meet him in his office after class. There, he forced you to unlock your phone and show him what exactly you were recording. It was utterly humiliating and watching him, watch you, finger yourself with a pen underneath the desk. After, he’d told you that he’d tell the dean you were getting off on his voice lecturing you unless you did something for him. Which led you ass up on his desk, trying your hardest not to make a peep as his fat cock slammed in and out of you. “Now, what I'm going to do is take out my cell,” He grunts, rolling his hips deep into you. “And record you slamming your ass onto my cock so if you decide to open that sweet mouth of yours, I'll have no choice but to send this video to mommy and daddy back at home, understand?” You nod, tears forming in your eyes from the threat or incoming orgasm, probably both. “Say ‘Yes, Professor!’ and maybe I'll send you the video so you can post it and feed yourself this week.”

Ankles beside your head, Choso had you folded in half as he pounded into your swollen cunt. He’d been going for what felt like hours and you were about to reach another peak when he abruptly stopped. “Choso?” you rasp, voice raw from screaming. “What’s wrong, baby?” You ask, staring up at him as he stares down at your glistening cunt. He just tilts his head and continues to stare. You’re about to ask again when he blinks from whatever trance he is in and starts thrusting in and out, slower this time. “Nothin’ baby, jus’ gotta piss.” “T-then stop and go, hm–” you gasp when he pushes your legs down further. “Stop and go to the bathroom Cho.” you try to pull his hands off your calves. Choso tightens his hold and grins down at you. “C-Choso?” “Why would I get up when I have a perfectly capable toilet right here.” Is all you hear before you suddenly feel a foreign warmth in your cunt followed by wetness trickling out your pussy.
r/askinghertoplaydead posted by u/Ryomen_Sukuna
“You wan’ me to do what?” You ask, staring up at him from your position between his legs. “I asked you to stop suckin’ my cock and hang off the bed like a drugged-up bitch on her last life.” He stares at you with a look that tells you he isn’t truly asking. “B-but ‘Kuna—” He grabs your throat. “Don’t you wanna make me happy, hm?” You grab the hand around your neck. “Mhm.” “This ‘ll make me happy, little girl,” He plants a firm kiss on your lips. “Now do as I told you, actually I’ll do it, I know you aren’t the best at following orders.” He says before pushing you back like a ragdoll. “Yes, now lay there, don’t move, don’t speak.” Sukuna reiterates, finally satisfied with your position, naked on your stomach with your head hanging off the bed. He wastes no time shoving his big cock into your cunt. You groan from the sudden intrusion “Kuna!” “Shut up, dead bitches don’t fuckin’ make sounds.”
r/forcinga3some posted by u/Gojo_Satoru
“Sit on his cock love,” Gojo demands, grabbing you by the waist and throwing you onto Suguru’s lap. “S-Satoru!” “’ Toru!” You and Geto screech at the same time. “C’mon guys, it’s fine I don’t mind, Loosen up!” Gojo looks at you on his best friend's lap and his cock twitching underneath his pants. He palms it. Don’t worry, we’ll have our turn. “I know you two want to fuck, c'mon! Do I really have to pull it out and shove it up your tight cunt?” Goji grits out, increasingly frustrated when the two of you stare at him like a pair of deer in headlights. “Baby, I-it was just a truth or dare question!” Your head aches and you put both of your hands on Suguru’s broad shoulders to stable yourself, trying and failing to ignore his hard under your panty-covered pussy. “Was it? So, you aren’t wet right now? And you Suguru? You aren't rock fucking hard at the thought of fucking the same pussy I cum in every night?” Gojo raises his eyebrow holding eye contact with you until you look away, face flushed. Suguru sighs, throwing his head back with murmured ‘fuck this.’ before grabbing your waist. “Yes! That’s what I thought. Ha!” Gojo laughs, watching as Suguru starts grinding you down on his bulge.

- Hush now Crybaby.
YANDERE BATFAMILY X NEGLECTED READER.
\\ Part 1 // \\ Part 2 // \\ Part 3 //.

You would stay by your rotting corpse, gently brushing your hair out of your face or just starting at it in general. Your corpse was becoming stiff and extremely cold, at times you tried to warm it by holding it.
A soft sigh left your mouth as you give up on trying to warmth the body display infront of you.
"How much longer do I have to wait...?"
You've been thinking alot, wondering why your body is still chained to Earth and you realised your physical body never got the rest it deserves.
The body laying on your coffin underground was a decoy made by your father, as twisted as it sound he only did it in hope of putting your soul back into the body.
Alfred and Bruce knew that, they knew that your current physical body was hidden inside the batcave. Alfred was hesitant at first but Bruce assure him that what he was doing might be morally wrong but it was the best option they have, if they want a new start.
Even after death nothing was better, your life only change slightly and it was for the worst. No one could see or interact with you, but you can uncover all the secrets which was alot more depressing than you expected.
You've found out how your mother died recently after a drug overdose... She was found stiff and unresponsive in her motel and a foam seeping out her mouth, surprisingly everything was clean, no missing things or any sing of struggle.
It was ruled as a sucide, the media claimed it as 'Woman killed herself after her daughter died of her neglection' it was Ironic... You couldn't help but stump your feet a little at that information, first your mother would never neglect you... and Second she was the best mother you could wish for.
You couldn't bear the silence inside the room so you decided to go outside to check on a particular individual.
Dick Grayson.
He was sitting infront of your grave cleaning it with his bare hand, replacing the previous flowers with Rose's. Since your relationship with him was on the edge when you died he doesn't even know your particular taste in flowers , as a result he would pick out new flowers everyday and replace them each day.
Your ghostly figure sit next to his watching him clean your grave once again, atleast he was being productive. Some especially Tim was coping in an unhealthy way.
Locked himself and barely ate anything, everything reminded him of you... His favourite coffee was now leaving an extremely bitter taste on his tongue, it was only because he realised how involved you were in his life and how without you his daily routine weren't the same.
Tim have also started to spiral into madness, doing research on you instead of his usual detective work. Who have hurt you and who have been nasty to you, he was willing to do anything but blame himself for your death or the family.
He's been looking back at every video footage of you and him and storing it into new files each file were specifically made for each video.
"Im sorry little wing... I couldn't find anything new today, so you'll have to take this for today"
Grayson gently murmured as he pluck out the old Lily's- old by one day - Wiping the vase carefully, holding as if it were the most fragile vase in the word.
"Life been abit hard... I know I shouldn't burden you with my problem especially when... You never had them. But, Kory and I took a break..."
His voice was more high-pitched than normal... Yet he continues to look after your grave, dealing it with great tenderness.
His mind flashing back to everything he had done wrong, prioritising joker over you... He remembered how he left you inside a burning building and instead saved the joker, as a result you got a nasty burn mark on your left hand.
Although he doesn't know who to blame you or the joker. Cause you're a hero, he thought you could save yourself... It doesn't matter that you were like what 7? Thought he did half heartily apologise after being lectured by Bruce.
"If you were back... Everything would be fine, im not blaming you of course... Just, I don't know anything good from bad especially after you left us"
"I do not know what possess you to be so reckless... I can't imagine what you must have felt but it's selfish"
"If you were here, Kory and I would take you before any of those... people could. It'll be just the three of us, I'll be the one you will depend on... You won't need to worry anymore, We'll never let you get hurt. Never again"
Dick continues to pour his heart out and slowly he began to smile, his mood began to shift from gloomy to thrilled, suggesting places and activities as if you were still alive.
If anybody was to come across this interaction it's either they'll lable him as mentally challenged or is high on sadness that they ended up talking to a grave.
You stood up getting ready to walk away, it's abit hard to pity them. They never acknowledged you when you were breathing and it's messed up that they only care after realising their mistakes.
"...Huh?"
A mysterious man was standing infront of you, you wouldn't be startled if he wasn't staring right into your eyes. A white lantern...?
You know him only because of the file you would read when you were bored out of your mind. Bruce must have called him, afterall he was a very new and surprising face to see in Gotham.
"...Nice to meet you?"
After your short introduction and your very long introduction on why he must not interfere at all, because as much as it suck being a ghost being alive with your current family would be hell.
Thought he does not seem to value your opinion at all, directly telling Bruce about your presence.
"You can speak... she can hear you"
Deadman informed Bruce.
"I apologise for my negligence and your mother unexpected death. She was a great woman just like you... I don't expect you to forgive so easily but, I want to see you smile again"
You didn't utter a word. You wanted to comfort him yet it was hard pitting the same man who avoid your presence when you were alive.
"Can't you bring her back...?"
"No, she's too far gone"
Your corpse look fine from outside but your inside were rotting and molding. Bruce tried his best yo preserve your body but what's gone is gone. All you want is for your body to rest.
"I refuse to believe. There must be a way for her to be back."
"I have no saying in logic. But there are artifact's that allows one to see ghost"
"I will do anything to see that smile again... I want to apologise to her face to face as well"
Your Father was one of the rare people in the family taking the responsibility in your death, this wasn't the first time he utter an apology. He would slept in your bed missing you, crying or talking in his sleep apologising it seem as the guilt never stopped chasing him.
Though he was the same man who left you unattended during gala surrounded by random man while you were a child. The same one who lecture your brother for leaving you in a fire only because he would have to explain why the burnt mark was there and not because it was wrong.
It was only natural for guilt to cling onto him the longest, he already lost Jason. But you were different, Jason died while having a somewhat happy memories. You died with nothing but bitterness and salty tears.
As much as you would love to fulfill your father's dream you couldn't help but be uncomfortable.
You've overhead Bruce and Jason conversation once and you regretted it. Jason being the most experienced in dying suggested the worst thing possible.
A new bedroom, made just for your liking.
A dingy room with chains to restrain you. All the window must have bars, even if you somehow managed to broke the iron chain you wouldn't be able to jump out and possibly risk breaking a bone.
"It's a necessity, I went mad when I came back, what gives you the idea that she won't be the same and in our case you'll be her first victim"
Jason harshly spit out. You couldn't help but disagree you wouldn't dare to hurt your family, even if they have hurt you in unexplainable ways. Your heart still ache for them in vain.
"Even if she dare to break out I have another method, far more wise and useful but I rather we use it as a last resort"
The last resort was, smashing your ankle. It was simple and Jason already have experience to make sure you won't be in more pain than necessary.
To put anything between your foot and for that object to be used as a support, tying the foot and arm's to restrain you. With a hammer all they have to do was to smash the bone into pieces, you wouldn't be able to walk at all but it was also necessary to treat the bone to avoid disability.
If the bone was to be left to heal by itself it would reconstruct themselves wrong leaving you to excruciating pain, not being able to depend on your foot and you might need to cut your foot off.
Another reason why you dread to be brought back, no amount of convincing or pleading would make them understand... They'll break you and rebuild you as if that was nothing.
They can't treat you like a daughter or a sister even tho they seem so willing... To you they only love you because of the guilt and not because they understand.
Damian was a reason itself, didn't even let a single tear drop during your funeral and the visit at the hospital. He did cry in secret which was pleasant to watch.
He's either beating people into pulp for the smallest crime or is actively trying to bring you back in another form. He have asked Raven to assist him but even the girl found it inhuman, suggesting for him to just mourn you and let your soul be in peace.
It was now noon the whole family jam inside the living room discussing.
"She can't be brought back? Jason died, the Lazarus pit can and must brought her back"
Damian argued, as much as he doesn't wanted to be emotional your absence was taking a toll on him.
You were the first to treat him like a human and he took that for granted. When he realised others weren't as understanding as you were he would get bothered... As much as he hate you that was just the crust of his heart, to him the core matter more... It was totally not an excuse for his horrible behaviour.
"You haven't tried that, father we must try before coming into conclusion!"
"I have tried Damian, nothing worked. Her body was rotting from the inside I was not aware"
Finally Barbara spoke up.
"You have tried? I have been visiting her grave everyday when did you di-"
"It was a decoy"
Jason decided to told the truth. The room felt into a long silence and suddenly shouting and names. They weren't happy that Bruce didn't tell them about the decoy, to them that was a breach of trust Bruce desperately tried to build after your death.
"Silence! There is another way we can see her, Deadman suggested using special artifact's that allows people to see ghost... We will us that as a temporary comfort and we'll find a way to bring her back... with us "
Everybody agreed, unknowns to them you were contemplating life whether you should leave your family and risk the chance of being brought back to life against your will or... Leave.
