I saw a program on the history channel saying the Justice League is haunted by the ghost of some circus acrobat.
Now, I know the sort of thing the History Channel says only has a grain of truth at best these days (they still talk about ancient aliens building the pyramids when everybody who's cracked open an Egyptology textbook in the last several decades knows Egypt only had contact with Thanagarians in the vaguest sense of the word, and it happened in the early New Kingdom, over a millennium after Egypt's pyramid craze), but is there any truth to the Haunted By A Circus Guy thing?
I assume the whole "he's part of a curse placed on the League by The Joker" thing they theorized isn't true, but I'm curious what the real story is.
Ok, so, this is going to be a really weird conversation. It's going to require people be cool about a very often misunderstood religious sect from a very isolated part of the world. And people are going to have to be ok with that. Ok? Ok. Nanda Parbat, Nepal (I said we are leaving our conspiracy theories at the door, thank you) is host to a temple that is home to a very misunderstood Hindu-Buddhist Sect based around the philosophies and teachings of the ancient figure Rama Kushna. Most theological scholars believe her to be an VERY old syncretism between the Hindu god Rama and the female bodhisattva Tara. No one knows specifically when the temple was founded because records of it stretch back to at LEAST the 6th century AD. In that time it has become more and more mythologized to the point that you can now find woo-woo peddlers in California preaching the "Rama Kushna Philosophy" or some faff, the same kind of orientalist nonsense that they turn all of Hindu and Buddhist philosophy into without putting in any of the work. Now, that said, at least one American has been entered fully into their ranks. And it was a weird one.

(An image of famous circus acrobat Boston Brand moments before his violent death) Boston Brand was a well known circus acrobat, famous under his moniker of "The Deadman" due to his death defying stunts performed at lethal height without a net. He was considered well in the league of the Flying Graysons, even performing alongside them for the Haley Circus company. A short time after the Grayson's violent death Boston Brand too was killed during his act, this time even more violently by a bullet to the chest at the apex of his most dangerous trick. He almost instantly became the subject of endless sensationalized true crime but the interesting part is that images of The Deadman, in costume with his name attached began to be produced by the monks of Nanda Parbat, claiming Brand as one of their own. Save for the fact that Brand had never in his life been to Nepal, nor was he either a practicing Hindu nor a Buddhist, certainly not of such an esoteric sect. The explanation given by the monks is that Brand was chosen by Rama Kushna in the afterlife to become "He Who Intervenes", a spirit avatar empowered to act upon the mortal world to defend the innocent and serve as a silent guardian against all manner of dark spirits and occult nastiness. Now of course this was ludicrous...for a while, until the general occult community (the real parts of it) began to not deny it. Including the League's own magicians and magically aligned members. While nothing can be confirmed one way or the other given the nature of the information, the broadest benefit of the doubt seems to be that the monks are correct and Boston Brand acts as a wandering spirit among the mortal plane, using the identity of "The Deadman" to silently influence the course of events toward justice in some sort of cosmic sense. I certainly don't know how I feel about that information and I would not presume to tell you what to do with it either.

Study MBBS Abroad: A Smart Choice for Indian Students in 2025
Are you dreaming of becoming a doctor but worried about the high competition and limited seats in Indian medical colleges? If yes, then MBBS abroad can be the perfect solution for you. In 2025, thousands of Indian students are choosing international medical universities for their MBBS abroad journey, and for all the right reasons.
In this article, you will learn why MBBS abroad is gaining popularity, the benefits of studying in foreign countries, the eligibility criteria, fee structures, top countries to choose from, and how it opens doors to global medical careers. Let’s begin your roadmap to success!

Why Choose MBBS Abroad?
Every year, over 20 lakh students appear for NEET, but only around 1 lakh seats are available in India. This means even brilliant students miss out due to high cutoffs. MBBS abroad provides an alternative where you can pursue your dream without wasting years.
Many foreign universities offer quality medical education at affordable fees, no donation, English-medium instruction, and globally recognized degrees. Countries like Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Nepal, and Kazakhstan are popular destinations where Indian students are studying confidently.
Benefits of Studying MBBS Abroad
Here are some strong reasons why MBBS abroad is a smart move:
No donation or capitation fee – You only pay the tuition fees. Low tuition fee structure – Much cheaper than Indian private colleges. Globally recognized degrees – Approved by NMC (India), WHO, FAIMER, ECFMG, etc. High-quality education – Modern labs, experienced faculty, and updated curriculum. MCI/NMC Screening Test coaching – Universities help students prepare for the FMGE/NExT exam.
Indian food & cultural environment – Available in most top universities abroad. Opportunity to settle abroad – After MBBS, you can do PG or practice in countries like the USA, UK, Germany, etc.
Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Abroad
Before applying for MBBS abroad, you must meet the following criteria:
You must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
You should score at least 50% in PCB for the general category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
You must qualify NEET (valid score is mandatory since 2018 for MBBS abroad admission).
Age should be 17 years or above at the time of admission.
These are basic and achievable requirements, which makes MBBS abroad more accessible than private medical colleges in India.
Top Countries to Study MBBS Abroad
Here are the top countries Indian students prefer for MBBS abroad, along with why they’re popular:
1. Russia
More than 35 medical universities are NMC approved.
Affordable tuition (₹3.5 to ₹6 lakh/year).
6 years duration (includes 1-year internship).

Students get international exposure, learn from multi-national patients, develop global medical skills, and get a chance to build their career anywhere in the world. Plus, most universities provide separate hostels for boys and girls, Indian food, and 24/7 security.
Career Scope After MBBS Abroad
After completing your MBBS abroad, you can:
Clear the FMGE/NExT exam and practice in India.
Go for PG abroad (USMLE for USA, PLAB for UK, AMC for Australia, etc.).
Apply for internships/residency in the same country you studied in.
Practice as a licensed doctor in WHO-approved countries.
The career opportunities after MBBS abroad are truly global!
Final Thoughts
With rising cutoffs, limited seats, and high donation fees in India, more students are now exploring MBBS abroad as their first choice. It not only offers affordable education but also gives exposure to international medical standards.
So if you have a NEET score but didn’t get a government seat, don’t worry. Your dream of becoming a doctor is still alive — and MBBS abroad might be the smartest step toward making it a reality.
Let your journey to becoming a doctor begin beyond borders!

Why Germany Is a Hotspot for Paramedical Courses in 2025
Germany, the country that has long been renowned in terms of engineering culture and the best higher educational institutions, is starting to emerge as one of the world-leading locations of paramedical studies. Germany is one of the hotspots of paramedical course in 2025 with affordable education with world-class infrastructure and demand growing of healthcare professionals. Be it discovering the field of physiotherapy, radiology, occupational therapy or emergency medical services, Germany has great opportunities to offer even international students particularly those who are Indian and those representing the developing world.
This is one of the most popular trends which we are going to discuss in this blog, and why it is better to study paramedics in Germany.
1. Rising Demand for Paramedical Professionals in Germany
Germany is also experiencing aging populationand a growing health care system. It is also estimated that by 2030 more than 36 percent of people in Germany will be aged over 60 years as per statistics made recently. The same demographic change is causing an increase in the demand of professionally endowed staff within the health and paramedical field such as physiotherapists, radiologists, medical lab technicians, and emergency medical technicians.
According to the demands of 2025, the healthcare system is still recovering and adapting to the pandemic, which makes this demand even more potent. Paramedical professionals are highly needed in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and elder care homes, giving a lot of opportunities to both local and international students.
2. High-Quality Education with Global Recognition
Education in Germany is the well-known system of having a practical, research oriented and a hands on training. In Germany, paramedical courses are offered in universities and vocational schools (Berufsschulen) and take the form of dual education, i.e. they are training in theory classes combined with clinical practising.
Courses are conformed to European qualification framework (EQF), and thus students pass out with internationally recognized certifications. The European, Middle East, and Asian markets are in high demand of graduates of German paramedical institutions.
Key benefits include:
Advanced simulation labs and clinical training facilities
Partnerships with leading hospitals and healthcare providers
Emphasis on patient-centric care and technological proficiency
3. Affordable or Tuition-Free Education
One of the strongest advantages of studying in Germany is its affordable cost of education. Public universities and vocational institutions offer tuition-free or low-cost education, even for international students. In most cases, students only need to pay a semester fee (usually around €200–€500), which covers administrative costs and public transportation.
This makes Germany an ideal destination for students from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and other countries where affordability is a major concern.
Additional financial benefits:
Low cost of living in smaller cities and towns
Access to DAAD scholarships and other merit-based funding
Part-time work opportunities (up to 20 hours/week) to manage expenses
4. English-Taught Programs for International Students
Whereas German is mostly spoken and most favored when it comes to positions that relate to the patients an increasing number of universities now provide paramedical programs in English especially on postgraduate level. The provision of courses in Health Sciences, Medical Imaging, Physiotherapy and Biomedical Technology is gaining popularity in the English-medium version, which helps international students to clear the language barrier.
In addition, the majority of the schools provide the support of the German language as a subject in their programs, which allows the students to acquire the proficiency slowly and become more employable in the field of healthcare in Germany.
5. Streamlined Visa Process and Post-Study Work Opportunities
Germany has gone a long way in easing its student visa and post study working requirements particularly to those students studying in the healthcare and related subjects. The German student visa ( Visum zu Studienzwecken ) can be obtained by international students who are pursuing recognised courses in the area of paramedicals and this visa can enable them to live in the country, study in the country, and work in the country part time.
Upon successful finish of their course, the graduates may apply to receive an 18 months post-study work visa (Job Seeking Visa) to secure a job in Germany. The country is severely short of healthcare experts and with a shortage of options most students are able to secure employment during this time frame and have the option to become Blue Card or permanent residents.
6. Hands-On Clinical Exposure and Apprenticeships
The vocational education and paramedical education in Germany is also quite different as it pays lots of attention to real training. Paramedical students go through a mandatory clinical rotations, internships and apprenticeships in hospitals, laboratory plants and rehabilitation centers.
It does not only enhance the practical skills, but also makes graduates confident of making an entry to the work place. Development of programs is done in close association with healthcare providers and ensuring that the curriculum is up to date in the industry requirements.
Popular practical training modules include:
Patient assessment and first aid techniques
Diagnostic imaging and equipment handling
Rehabilitation exercises and therapeutic interventions
Emergency response and trauma care
7. Wide Range of Paramedical Specializations
Germany offers an impressive variety of specialized paramedical courses at diploma, undergraduate, and master’s levels. Some of the most popular courses include:
a. Physiotherapy
Focuses on therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation for patients with physical impairments.
b. Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology
Covers diagnostic imaging techniques including X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and ultrasound.
c. Occupational Therapy
Trains professionals to help individuals regain skills necessary for daily living and working.
d. Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Prepares students for ambulance and emergency response services.
e. Medical Laboratory Technology
Focuses on diagnostics, pathology, microbiology, and lab operations.
f. Speech Therapy and Audiology
Involves diagnosing and treating speech and hearing disorders.
These programs are offered by both public universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulen) and vocational institutes with strong healthcare affiliations.
8. Cultural Diversity and Global Student Community
Germany has a high number of international students with an estimate of more than 400,000 international students and is among the most multicultural countries to study in Europe. A warm reception to foreigners, student-friendly cities, such as Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, and Leipzig, and well-developed international student support systems contribute to a stress-free settlement of learners, who live in the country.
Most of the paramedical schools are with vibrant international student cells, orientation programs, and mentorship systems that assist the foreign students to orient towards German life and academic institutions.
9. Long-Term Career Growth and PR Opportunities
There are very good employment policies, professional advancement, and opportunities to settle down permanently in Germany among the people who complete the paramedical course there. The salaries of these paramedical specialists are quite competitive and the labor rights of paramedical professionals are good because they work in areas where there is high demand and people who want to undertake the roles which are in the healthcare are being encouraged by the government.
In Germany paramedical professional earn an average of between 35000 to 60000 euros annually depending on experience and area of specialization. A significant number of healthcare professionals can be issued EU Blue Card that enables applying permanent residence (Niederlassungserlaubnis) in about two years after they received the job contract.
10. Supportive Healthcare Ecosystem
Germany’s healthcare system is one of the best in the world. It provides an excellent environment for learning, professional networking, and career advancement. Students and professionals are supported by:
Government-regulated training standards
Modern infrastructure and equipment
Transparent job contracts and social security
Continuing education opportunities through medical congresses and seminars
Moreover, paramedical professionals in Germany have the opportunity to work across a range of settings, including:
Public and private hospitals
Rehabilitation and wellness centers
Diagnostic laboratories
Elderly care facilities
Emergency services (ambulance/EMS units)
Conclusion: Why Choose Germany in 2025 for Paramedical Courses?
Germany 2025 is a dream country to those who are interested in being paramedical professionals. It is a perfect mixture of high academic standards, hands-on practice, low prices, and high prospects of employment which are not so easy to see in one university. Are you an undergraduate student who is starting out or a medical science graduate and you want to specialize? Germany has a career process that is globally relevant.
Having an excellent system of healthcare, a national and international status, and a variety of employment opportunities, Germany is soon starting to become a major hotspot in the global outlook of paramedical education.

Why Choose Nepal for Yoga Teacher Training?
Nepal has earned its reputation as a global yoga destination due to its rich spiritual history and natural beauty.
Here are several reasons why Nepal is an ideal place to take a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course:
1. The Spiritual Heart of Yoga
Nepal is deeply connected to spirituality, with an ancient history of meditation, self-reflection, and mindfulness practices. It is the birthplace of Buddha, and the entire country is steeped in spiritual energy. This makes it an ideal place for yoga training, as the environment helps cultivate inner peace and personal growth. Practicing yoga in Nepal allows students to be in harmony with the spiritual roots of the practice, fostering a deeper connection to their inner selves.
2. A Serene and Peaceful Environment
Nepal’s natural beauty is unparalleled, with the majestic Himalayas, lush valleys, and tranquil temples providing a peaceful environment for yoga practice. The peaceful atmosphere of Nepal allows yoga practitioners to disconnect from the distractions of modern life, giving them the opportunity to focus entirely on their yoga training and spiritual development.
3. Experienced and Knowledgeable Teachers
Nepal is home to some of the world’s best yoga instructors, many of whom have studied and trained under legendary yoga masters. These teachers often combine their knowledge of traditional yoga with modern techniques, ensuring a well-rounded, comprehensive learning experience. The 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training programs in Nepal are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to teach yoga effectively, as well as to cultivate a deeper personal practice.
4. Affordability
Compared to other yoga destinations such as India or Bali, yoga teacher training courses in Nepal are often more affordable, making them accessible to a wider range of students. The low cost of living, combined with the high quality of education, makes Nepal a budget-friendly option for those looking to become certified yoga teachers without compromising on quality.
What is a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course? A 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) course is a globally recognized certification program designed for individuals who want to become certified yoga instructors. This course is an intensive, immersive program that provides students with the necessary tools, knowledge, and practical experience to teach yoga in various settings. The training typically spans 4 weeks and includes both theoretical and practical components, covering various aspects of yoga such as asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology.
Upon successful completion of the course, students are awarded a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training certification, which is recognized by international organizations like the Yoga Alliance. This certification allows graduates to teach yoga at registered yoga schools, private studios, or even host their own yoga classes.
What Will You Learn in a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course?
A 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course in Nepal provides students with a solid foundation in all aspects of yoga, from physical practice to teaching skills. Below is an overview of the key elements covered in the course:
1. Asana (Yoga Poses)
The primary focus of the yoga practice is the physical postures, or asanas. A typical 200-hour YTT program covers a wide range of yoga poses, from basic to advanced, and includes detailed instructions on alignment, modifications, and transitions. Students will learn to practice, observe, and teach asanas while gaining an understanding of their physical benefits and therapeutic applications.
Training includes:
Standing poses
Seated poses
Backbends
Inversions
Balancing poses
Teachers also guide students in understanding the proper breathing techniques (pranayama) that accompany each posture to enhance physical and mental benefits.
2. Pranayama (Breathing Techniques)
Breath is the foundation of yoga, and pranayama teaches students to control the breath to increase energy, focus, and calm the mind. A 200-hour training course covers various breathing techniques such as Ujjayi breath, Kapalbhati, Nadi Shodhana, and Bhastrika. Pranayama is often integrated into asana practice, providing a harmonious blend of movement and breath that supports the body and mind.
3. Yoga Philosophy and Spirituality
Yoga is not just a physical practice; it is also a spiritual discipline. A key component of any 200-hour course is understanding the philosophical and spiritual roots of yoga. The curriculum typically covers the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. These texts provide guidance on living a mindful, ethical, and purposeful life.
Students also explore concepts such as:
The Eight Limbs of Yoga
The Yamas (ethical guidelines) and Niyamas (personal observances)
Meditation and mindfulness practices
This philosophical foundation helps students connect to the deeper aspects of yoga and incorporate these teachings into their daily lives and teaching practices.
4. Anatomy and Physiology
A good yoga teacher must have a basic understanding of human anatomy and how the body works. In a 200-hour YTT course, students learn about the body’s major muscle groups, bones, joints, and the functioning of the nervous system. This knowledge helps ensure that students can teach yoga safely and effectively, understanding how different postures affect the body.
Topics often covered include:
Basic anatomy of the body
The muscular-skeletal system
The respiratory system and pranayama
Injury prevention and yoga modifications
5. Teaching Methodology
The art of teaching yoga is a significant aspect of a YTT program. Throughout the course, students are encouraged to develop their unique teaching style, focusing on clear communication, proper sequencing, and the ability to connect with their students. The training includes practical teaching sessions where students practice guiding classes, giving adjustments, and providing modifications for different levels of practitioners.
Students learn how to:
Sequence a yoga class
Use clear and effective language
Offer modifications for beginners and advanced students
Create a welcoming and supportive teaching environment
6. Meditation and Mindfulness
Meditation is an integral part of yoga training, and students are encouraged to incorporate mindfulness practices into their daily routine. In Nepal, students often meditate in beautiful, tranquil settings, with guidance from experienced teachers. Meditation practices such as mindfulness, mantra chanting, and visualization help students quiet the mind, reduce stress, and develop self-awareness.
Why is Nepal the Ideal Place for Yoga Teacher Training?
Nepal is an incredible place to immerse oneself in yoga, offering several advantages for those pursuing a yoga teacher training course:
1. Holistic Experience
Nepal offers more than just yoga training it provides a holistic, transformative experience that includes spiritual growth, deep self-reflection, and a profound connection with nature. With its peaceful environment, majestic mountains, and quiet temples, Nepal allows students to engage in a deeper practice and experience personal growth.
2. Rich Culture and Tradition
The country’s rich cultural heritage and spiritual traditions enrich the yoga training experience. Many yoga schools in Nepal incorporate local rituals, ceremonies, and cultural practices into the training program, giving students a unique experience that cannot be found in other parts of the world.
3. Affordable and Accessible
Compared to other yoga destinations, Nepal offers an affordable cost of living, making it possible for students from all financial backgrounds to attend a 200-hour YTT program. The value for money in terms of accommodation, food, and training makes Nepal an accessible and attractive destination for yoga teacher training.

Why Students Prefer MBBS in Nepal – A Smart Choice for Indian Medical Aspirants
If you are dreaming of becoming a doctor and looking for affordable options abroad, MBBS in Nepal is one of the best choices for Indian students. With low tuition fees, a friendly environment, and top-quality medical education, Nepal has become a preferred destination for medical studies. Let’s explore why more and more Indian students choose MBBS in Nepal and how it can shape your future.
1. Similar Education Pattern to India
One of the biggest advantages of studying MBBS in Nepal is its close similarity to the Indian medical curriculum. Most medical colleges in Nepal follow a syllabus and structure that is nearly the same as India’s MCI/NMC guidelines. This makes it easier for students to understand the subjects and prepare for exams like NEXT (National Exit Test) in India.
Also, the medical colleges in Nepal teach in English, which is easy to understand for Indian students. This means you won’t face any language barrier during your studies.
2. MCI/NMC and WHO-Approved Universities
All top medical colleges offering MBBS in Nepal are recognized by global authorities like the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India and the World Health Organization (WHO). This approval is important because it ensures that your degree will be valid not just in India but across many countries around the world.
After completing MBBS in Nepal, you are eligible to sit for the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) in India or even apply for medical licensing exams in the USA, UK, Australia, and more.
3. No Donation, No Hidden Charges
Unlike many private medical colleges in India that demand heavy donations, MBBS in Nepal is completely based on merit. There is no donation or capitation fee, which makes it highly affordable for middle-class families.
The average tuition fee for MBBS in Nepal ranges between ₹40 lakhs to ₹60 lakhs for the complete course. This is quite economical compared to private colleges in India, which can charge over ₹1 crore including donations.
4. Easy Admission Process
Getting admission for MBBS in Nepal is very simple and transparent. If you have qualified NEET and completed your 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, you are eligible to apply. The admission process is usually conducted directly by the university or through a centralized entrance test like MECEE-BL.
Some universities may also consider NEET scores directly, which saves you from the stress of another competitive exam. The visa process is also easier for Indian students because of the special relationship between India and Nepal.
5. Indian Food and Cultural Similarities
For many Indian students, food and culture are a big concern when moving abroad. But in Nepal, you feel at home. The local lifestyle, festivals, and daily habits are very similar to India’s.
Most colleges offering MBBS in Nepal have Indian mess facilities, and you can easily get Indian food nearby. The people of Nepal are also friendly and welcoming, which helps you adjust easily and stay focused on your studies.
6. High-Quality Medical Education
Medical colleges in Nepal offer high standards of education with well-qualified faculty, modern labs, and clinical training in reputed hospitals. Most colleges have their own attached teaching hospitals where students can get real-time exposure to patients from the first year onwards.
The 5.5-year MBBS in Nepal program includes 4.5 years of academic education and 1 year of internship, just like the Indian MBBS structure. The clinical rotations, case studies, and hands-on training make you a skilled and confident doctor.
7. Safe and Student-Friendly Environment
Nepal is one of the safest countries in South Asia. It has a peaceful atmosphere, low crime rate, and a strong bond with India. Indian students studying MBBS in Nepal feel secure and protected throughout their stay.
Also, the cost of living is affordable. You can manage your monthly expenses for food, accommodation, transport, and other essentials within ₹10,000–₹15,000. This makes it easy for families to support their children during the course.
8. Top Medical Colleges for MBBS in Nepal
Here are some of the top colleges offering MBBS in Nepal for Indian students:
Kathmandu Medical College
Manipal College of Medical Sciences
Nepal Medical College
Lumbini Medical College
Birat Medical College
