were seasons 4-6 of teen wolf at all inspired by pjo or did my brain on it's own draw similarities between percy-nico-bianca and scott-theo-tara bc like. main character and hero of the show, morally pure. sad and traumatized younger brother. older sister who dies too young and her brother struggles to accept her death. not to mention, (to me at least) said brother being gay and, in the past, crushing on main character, but the feelings are never and will never be returned, mostly bc aloof main character had no idea. sprinkle in a bit of resentment due entirely to misunderstanding and out-of-one's-control mistakes. then toss the cat out of the bag and add in a sunshine-y boys, will and liam respectively, and have depressed younger brother latch onto them like they need them to breathe, and the sunshine-y boys absolutely adore their little rain clouds

Not sure I'm going to finish watching The Day of the Jackal, despite Eddie Redmayne's presence, because the main heroine, Bianca, is plain irritating. I understand the urge of the screenwriters to create a tough female character, I do. She could be ruthless and unlikable, yes. But why make her so unprofessionally rude towards everyone she speaks to? She antagonizes people, cuts them off, acts condescending, so they are reluctant to help her, and also gets emotional too quickly for a trained pro. It looks like it's the problem with the writing, not with the actress. I can't but compare Bianca to the ladies from Slow Horses, Diana Taverner and Ingrid Tearney—both are merciless manipulators, but it's a delight to watch them :)
