Do you think pikmin would eat fruits if given the chance? I know that in pikmin bloom the fruits collected turns into nectar but I think they should bite into an insect condo. Enrichment. Handing my blue pikmin a blueberry

i don't think pikmin have the necessary body parts to properly take bites of and eat fruit unfortunately (they don't have very big mouths, nor do they have teeth or mandibles to actually bite chunks out of anything) :(

BUT! i do think pikmin could drink and would really enjoy the juice from fruit! they'd sip it up just like they can sip up nectar ... a little treat for them

red pikmin have the advantage in this, as their noses could easily peirce a little hole into softer fruits to drink from, but for other pikmin types and regarding bigger, tougher fruits like an insect condo, you'd want to cut a slice out of it that pikmin can drink from (you could do this with a crimson banquet! a refreshing treat as well as big enough for them to climb and play on. i think they would love that)

i imagine you could also take some fruit juice (or juice a fruit yourself) and put it in a little dish for them to drink (very shallow of course, to avoid the risk of pikmin drowning) , or even mash up some blueberries or raspberries and give the pikmin a little dish of that, they'd love this too :]
