Made it a little further into the HasLab Omega Prime set today. Just the alt modes so far. They are gorgeous. The chrome on Magnus' front bumper is spectacular. Both battle modes look great, and it's pretty cool that Cerebros can interact with Optimus, Magnus and Bluebolts.

My Haslab Omega Prime is here!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Transformers Robots in Disguise from 2001 was my first introduction to Earth based vehicle Transformers. I watched Beast Wars back in the day and that was my first introduction to Transformers overall. The pic on the left is Omega Prime/God Fire Convoy in Japan combined from Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus while on the right its Omega Prime with the rest of Super Mode Optimus attached on. There is a secret mode where you can attach all of the Super Mode Optimus parts on him and this is what I made until they release an official video instructions on how it's properly done.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here is Optimus Prime or Fire Convoy as he is named in Car Robots: Transformers in Japan with the Super Mode armor in base mode. Love that you can give Optimus the missile rack mounted on his shoulders just like in the original toy back in the early 2000s. With this new version he's got better articulation like an ab crunch and ratcheted hips, knees, and shoulders. He's got thicker thighs to even out Super Mode and Omega Prime's proportions. I did have to do some sanding in the inner spinal column because you have to push down on the body and out of the box it had no cracks on the abs, but I did the sanding to prevent future damaging there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now here is Optimus in Super Mode and vehicle mode. Like I said before from the base mode parts you can armor up Optimus into his iconic Super Mode. Still retains his articulation from his normal robot mode but not has finger articulation. This version of Optimus here is my favorite because of the vehicle mode choice. A fire engine fits Optimus so well because he saves lives like fire fighters. Optimus Prime needs to be fire engines more often! Bonus points to this version for allowing Cerebros, the bonus Titanmaster figure to sit in the bucket. Also the ladder extends and the missiles in it can flip out while the warheads are removable.
Tumblr media
The other two figures include in this are Ultra Magnus or God Magnus in Car Robots: Transformers and Bluebolts. The cartoon/anime really played up the anti-hero-ness of this version of Ultra Magnus and it really stuck with me as a kid. I love that the creative team really redesigned Bluebolts here. Originally 2001 Bluebolts was just a weapon pack for Ultra Magnus, but here the design team gave her cool modular parts and can still transform into Ultra Magnus' weapon pack.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thanks to her modular nature Bluebolts can separate and fill out the empty spaces in Ultra Magnus' chest and back legs. Really smart way for weapons storage.
Tumblr media
I adore this vehicle mode for Ultra Magnus. He homages the 80s UM by being a car carrier truck but its more like what a car carrier would look like driving on the streets at least how I usually see them. Vehicle mode can carry up to 3 cars.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The photos don't do it justice but Omega Prime here can double hand the nearly 2ft tall Matrix Blade and you can pull off the Obari pose! Its freaking cool! God I love Transformers Robots in Disguise/ Car Robots: Transformers!

Transformers HasLab RID 2001 Omega Prime
Personally, this is my first HasLab piece, and I know people who've gotten them, and I've heard quite a few people talk about them, and the one thing that I kept hearing them described as (apart from Unicron, but it's also Unicron) is that they're very playable. Like, that they have that high quality feel, but you're not worried about them shattering or falling to pieces or anything as you're transforming them. And that's kind of my experience. There's one or two scary parts, but for the vast majority of this toy I had a lot of fun. Going through the instructions the first time was a little confusing, but I was easily able to figure everything out on every subsequent transformation without them. I don't know how easy it'll be to get one on the aftermarket, but it's a really fun piece. And as this is several separate toys, let's go through them one at a time.
Optimus Prime: You could have sold this figure alone. The truck is very solid, the robot is solid and easy to get in all manner of poses, the super mode parts are pretty intuitive, and said combined mode is the cherry on top. Like, there's tabs for almost everything, tons of extra joints to get things just right, it's very fun.
There are a few downsides, though. There are a couple of places that have specific order-of-operations, like with the knees. The ratchet joint on the ladder when moving it down feels very scary with how loud and rough it is. For all the locking points, the combined head just kind of sits there and rattles around. And the thighs are a little weird? Like, there's a thigh joint as well as transformation cut right at the knee, and they don't always like working in tandem together.
The only thing I'm concerned about is the ladder over time, but every other thing is just a small thing to look out for. (EDIT: I know about the wide-spread waist issues. I got one of the lucky copies where everything slides normally. If you get one, check it immediately.)
Ultra Magnus: A bit more complicated a figure than Optimus, but he has a lot more to do. Like with Optimus, when everything is together it is very solid. The car carrier mode can fit a small car inside it, if you want, which is neat. The robot also has a decent bit of posability to it; not as good as Optimus, but enough to get some good poses in, especially with the included stand.
His transformation is probably his one downside. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easily to replicate, but there are a lot of weird steps to it, like with his backpack. There are also a number of notable gaps, like around the collar and in the legs, but that's a necessity of the ultimate combination.
Omega Prime: Optimus has the same configuration as Omega Prime as he does in his Super Mode, so you don't need to do anything extra when switching. And like with Super Mode, it's a very solid combination. I'm not at all worried about it falling apart. It's also very posable.
There are tabs on the sides of the chest that have trouble locking at points, but they aren't required, luckily. That's really it, though. There's also supposed to be a canon full combined mode that uses every part from both Ultra Magnus and the Super Mode armor, but I haven't figured it out yet.
Tumblr media
Bluebolts: It's cool they turned Ultra Magnus' giant weapon into a Weaponizer. Like any Weaponizer, Bluebolts is capable of many different configurations, three of which are canon. Bluebolts can form Ultra Magnus' usual giant cannon as well as rifles for him or be separated into pieces to fill out some of Magnus' holes. It's just a neat little addition to the package.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cerebros: is here. The seats on Prime's ladders are both fitted for him, which means they should also be fitted for any Head/Power Master. Not needed, but it's cool he's here.
The Sword: Just briefly wanted to mention the sword. It's a bit unwieldy; you're really just supposed to have him hold it planted (I'm surprised they didn't add a specific bottom piece for just that). If you two hand it, you can get a few poses out of it, but not a lot, and you need to pull the handle apart and put it back together to get it in the right position for the hands to work with it.
Overall, I think this is a great toy. Four different figures of varying size, multiple combinations, lots of play value. It's a fantastic set of figures and a lot of fun. It's a shame how so many people have been affected by serious QC issues, as it's definitely negatively impacted people's opinions on this toy.

Things that happened in the Official Transformers RPG's lore 2: Crossover Boogaloo
Since I've got both the crossover and BW books, and even finished them, and also the last post blew up for no reason, it's time for a sequel with some revisions.
Beast Wars book is more-or-less straightforward add-on for beast modes, Dinobots, and the crossover book is also a straightforward module focused on gameplay with the notable exception of the fact that Pretenders are here for some reason. Well, to the points!
Things that are kinda-sorta canon: Earthspark (Nightshade is an extant person), RID15 (Alchemor crash is an event, Simacore is a person), Animated (Sari also exists), ROTF (same with Alice) and Go-Bots (Zod is a Titan).
RPG lore treats Dark Energon and Angolmois as interchangeable, and therefore refers to all Angolmois items from Japanese Beast Wars as Dark Energon. This is odd, as the book later directly references the manga which established quite firmly that Angolmois is a separate thing.
Mindwipe is invited to scientific conferences.
Sky-Byte is a Maximal, or at least formally listed among them.
Thunderhowl is once again Captain America, hates swarming enemies, and he is either speaks to Onyx Prime in his diary, or Leo Prime (Lio Convoy), mentioned in the rulebook before, is a proper formal Prime who leads the Maximals.
No mention is made of Rattrap's Decepticon allegiance from the past books, but he is apparently a spy by speciality.
Botanica is a triffid.
Paddles, the dinobot, uses they/them pronouns. It's unclear if it's deliberate or not.
The notable odd Threat Level: Optimus Primal the average starship captain by himself is 22, which is more than Starscream's 21. Dinobot is 7, basic BW Megatron is 10, Botanica is 12. Abominus is 15, less then the previously the most weak combiner Ruination's 16, making Abominus a very lame combiner. But the crown is taken by basic Quickstrike, with 1. Yes, 1.
Everyone still have languages listed, and Cybertronix exist as apparently another Cybertronian language, but the only people who know it are the Vehicon generals, Silverbolt and Botanica. But this is not the most notable language-related thing, as Waspinator and Terrorsaur both know English for some reason.
Cube, apparently, is one of Cybertron's greatest exports, and there are alien adaptations of the sport around (presumably, for people who cannot become a car at command).
Decepticons are a legitimate monarchy, and the title of Emperor Of Destruction is a genuine title, because Duke Of Destruction is a Genuine Noble Title
It's more of an observable gameplay oddity, but "EMT Crash Course" perk is universal for humans and Cybertronians. It affects specifically organic medicine, Cybertronians are healed by mechanical aptitude, so you can trust (some) giant robots with your first aid kit!
The BW rulebook has a passing preoccupation with alternate realities - and Uprising even gets it's owl blurb - and therefore has a character sheet for a Intelligent Scientist Grimlock, among others.
Maximals tend to choose for their altmode mammals, birds and fish.
And now, the answers to a couple of questions, because I saw the tags, and some corrections.
@nanzyn & @shadowboxmind : Yeah, the threat level sometimes seem completely random (Stunticons look really lowballed). I think I'll write down all the tables together later for this bizarre power scale.
@theropodtheroblogs : No, Jazz is still also the head of Spec Ops. Prowl is a military strategist, and just a guy now, I guess.
@libermachinae : The original wording for the local Prowlastator seem to imply Prowl kind of happened upon Devastator? The exact words are "when needed" and "been able", so jury's out. He is apparently not a part of Devastator anymore at the time Termagax's lecture, which happens at Autobot City after the local analogue of Headmasters saga and may or may not bear relation to the local counterpart of Combiner Wars.
Now, the corrections: points 4 and 9 from the main post aren't exactly true. The who-is-who list features Alpha Trion, and while some people like Bulkhead are specifically are the Ark crewmember, there's also a mention of "Arcee's Resistance", but not what is it or where it's located, so do what you want. And Tracks while isn't strictly speaking a triple-changer, he is randomly mentioned in such a manner it could be inferred so (and this is his only mention in-text). Technically, the same is the case with Botanica's triffidness here - she has apparently interchangeable stats with Flytrap, whose most notable trait is that he's a triffid. I apologize for any confusion caused.

The witches 🫐✨️ [REFS]
All the ocs in this ref collection are technically witches in one way or another xD And I have more witch ocs, but.... they'll show up later. >:} Witches/magic plays an important role in my stories!
⚠️(TW: Vent(?)/random yapping) ⚠️
Tbh, I was nervous to post these bc... ppl have been mean/weird to me abt these ocs,,.. tho I love them all dearly. EACH of them have lore, and they are not as simple as they seem! Still, it rlly hurt when ppl insulted my designs and made weird assumptions and etc. Due to that, im gonna keep the comments off for these posts <:<
These are acutally some of my FAVORITE ocs yet, and I've had a blast writing them!! It just kinda sucked that they got insulted before I could ever even share their lore. 🥲💔

Round 1, Poll 6
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bluebolt Dragon (left) is a character from Dragon City. Some time ago, his friends were captured by cursed smoke, and he spent years working to rescue them. Bluebolt Dragon was later replaced by Nineties Dragon, who does not seem to be connected to Sonic. He is apparently quite fast
Mecha Sonic v1.0, also known as Mecha Sonic or Silver Sonic, (right) is one of the earlier robotic Sonic copies. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (genesis version) was their debut, though they have since appeared in other media, such as the comics. They are slower and bulkier than most Sonic duplicates, and are essentially a walking buzz saw. They should not be confused with other Mecha Sonics also in this tounament

Worldbuiltober Day 4: Ancient.
Tumblr media
The Azure Arcanist: Trricticiuaen. The Azure Arcanist is one of the great Dragons in Lanjari. She is considered a force of nature akin to a god, ruling over several kingdoms to fuel her need for arcane understanding. Some raise offense with her magical power over others, as she’s the financial overlord of all the trade routes in the region, and has mental influence over the significant leaders.
Her arcane work makes her highly interested in materials. Her insatiable curiosity makes it so that the towns and cities around her are a source of intrigue and materials rather than prey. Her huge clan of kottolds are more than willing to make trades and expand the empire.
As long as the local peoples give her and her clan tribute, space and suitable materials for her wizardry, she extends protection. Her influence extends to directly mentally influencing the people of local towns and villages. It is well known that she magically influences others to gain her goals of more arcane knowledge and power. But her influence makes trade good in the region, encourages working together with her and the Trricti Clan, and for the last few centuries, has made peace in the region.
Her clan of kottolds is known as Dclfin Trricti, or the Bluebolts in Common. They treat her like a benevolent leader as much as a god. They, and the Azurist herself, are known for the invention of phtalo blue. Many dyeshops and paint producers are relient on the Bluebolts for their blues. "Dragonblue", a specific shade of saturated, dark phtalo blue, is prized for its beauty all around the continent Treniskoa. Bluebolt kottolds use it for their cultural facepaint.
Their name, Bluebolt, comes from the blue bolts of fabric they first became famous for.

Dear Vector Convoy, if Untite is a Cyborg Beast what was his identity before his transformation?
Dear Cyborg Searcher,
Untite was previously a particularly grisly Predacon warrior named Underbite, infamous for his habit of chewing on the discarded antennae, wings and kibble of his foes. Having worked for Unicron during one of his attempts at resurrection in the deep future, his dark master found this habit intolerable.
Declaring that if he were to spend so much time gnawing on the dead he should do it properly, Unicron used his dark powers to transform Underbite into Untite, a Cyborg Beast only able to subsist on the corpses of dead Transformers. While this change resulted in Untite being able to survive long past his peers, the distance it created between him and normal Cybertronians always secretly rankled him. Dark Amber Leo Prime and Bluebolt befriending him was perhaps the best thing that ever happened to him.

Ooh! Can you talk about nightbolt plz?
So, for context for the following infodump: Bluebolt's real name is Gideon, so if I alternate between using Bluebolt and Gideon, that's why! :D I'm gonna alternate between them to show civvie stuff versus vigilante stuff! Another thing is that Gideon moved to Gotham to try to help make it a better place(and get away from home, but that's besides the point-)! That being said, it's going under a read more because I have. many thoughts about them! Also like, implied not-so-good childhood under the cut, read carefully! More stuff happens in the story, but like, I'm just gonna focus on them rn lol
TL;DR:
Friends to lovers, I am so normal about them. :)
Tumblr media
So, Gideon and Dick first met on complete accident. It was a routine robbery, Bluebolt was hurrying to try to help with dealing with it, running into Robin on the way there, in the literal sense. After a few moments to recover, the two quickly got up, apologizing to one another.
Before Robin can get another word in, Bluebolt rushes off to go help deal with the robbery without saying goodbye, Robin hurrying to follow him to help as well.
The robbery gets dealt with as smoothly as usual, Bluebolt helping the store owner clean up a bit. Robin nudges Batman in the side, telling him to go say thank you for helping them deal with the whole thing.
Batman sends Robin to go do it, as Bruce has to get the Batmobile up and running. Robin nods, jogging over to give Bluebolt his thanks. Robin taps him on the shoulder, getting swept off his feet literally as Bluebolt knocks his legs out from under him with a broom.
Bluebolt apologizes, helping Robin back up, Robin giving the blue-hoodie-wearing-hero his thanks for the help up and the help with the robbery, flashing him a warm, happy smile.
This causes Bluebolt to sorta have a bit of a crisis, zoning out for a few moments. He gets pulled back to reality, telling Robin it was his pleasure to help and that he'd hopefully see him again, quickly adding "platonically" to the end of the sentence.
Timeskip a while, Bluebolt has continued to help Batman and Robin whenever he can, and overtime, the tension between Bluebolt and Robin has gotten less platonic and more, y'know, romantic! Hell, Robin even sorta helped Bluebolt get over how badly his parents treated him in some ways!(Alfred could tell no matter how hard Bluebolt tried to hide it, that Butler knows all lmao)
Robin helps Bluebolt heal in both physical and mental ways, and Bluebolt is forever grateful to him for that.
In the story with him, Dick still went out with Barb, and Gideon sorta kept his feelings to himself the whole time because he didn't wanna ruin a good thing that Dick had going for himself, despite how much he wanted to tell him.
Then comes the fated incident where Dick leaves Batman. The one mission Gideon didn't help with because he thought Batman and Robin could handle it and he just waited at the Batcave, eager for the gang to come back.
He was excited for them to come back! He was gonna finally tell Robin how he felt! He could finally do it! Alfred finally gave him the confidence to tell him!
He started dozing off when he heard the Batmobile driving in. He quickly jumped up, running over to go greet Robin as he came out.
He waited a while. And a while longer. And a while longer. "Hey, uh, Bats...? Is...Is Robin coming out?"
Batman, being the blunt motherfucker he is, says nothing and just continues walking into the batcave. This worries Gideon. Did the mission go wrong? Did Robin get hurt?
"Barb? Is Dick okay?" He asks, very obviously worried. Barbara sighs, explaining everything that happened, Gideon's eyes widen as his face goes pure white.
Gideon fidgets with his hands a bit, trying to form shapes with them before stopping. Dick was one of the few people that Gideon knew would understand what he was trying to say when he went nonverbal.
After a while, Gideon calms down, sighing for a moment, speaking in short sentences. "...He's not coming back...is he...?" Barbara shakes her head no, causing Gideon to groan in frustration.
At this point, half of his spark has died out pretty much. Flash forward a while, Gideon is still a vigilante, just not as optimistic as he used to be.
Then comes a mission with Mr. Freeze. Bluebolt still wants to try to help the villains get better by trying to talk them down, but he accidentally lets Nora's name slip out and this causes shit to go south really quick.
Mr. Freeze overcharges his freeze-ray and causes Bluebolt's legs to get frozen with what might as well be dry ice.
Everything after that is a blur to Bluebolt, he just knows he wakes up and has lost his legs due to how badly his legs got frozen, causing them to get such bad nerve damage that his lower legs had to get amputated. That is when almost the rest of his spark dies out.
It takes Bluebolt a while to get used to his prosthetics, but after he gets used to them, he's back on his feet as soon as Batman allows him to be.
A while afterwards, Bluebolt notices someone swinging through Gotham while he's on patrol. Confused, Bluebolt follows them to see who they are.
He follows them to the Gotham docks, confused as to where they went. To which he gets his answer, in the form of said person tackling him to the ground, pinning him down.
Bluebolt tries to escape their grip, but is rendered pretty much immobile. Eventually, they speak, Bluebolt vaguely recognizing the voice, despite the amount of time that's passed.
Bluebolt quickly pushes up as hard as he could, shoving the person off, pinning them to the ground. "Who are you?!"
"Nightwing." He responds. Bluebolt narrows his eyes. "Your ACTUAL name."
Then he narrows his eyes. "From the look on your face, you know that already." A few punches get thrown at Nightwing before they start to slow, Bluebolt slowly starting to tear up.
Nightwing is confused. "What're you-"
"Why did you leave? No goodbyes, no see you laters, just...gone." Nightwing's eyes widen.
Nightwing thought Bluebolt was asleep by the time Batman and Batgirl would've gotten home. He thought he wouldn't have noticed.
After a bit of calming down, Dick, for the first time in years, pulls Gideon into a hug. Normally, Gideon initiated them, but this time, Dick felt he owed Gideon the initiation.
After all these years, they were finally together again. Gideon melted into the hug as Dick had so many times in the past.
"...Dick...?" Dick tilts his head as if to express confusion. "...I love you..."
"How long?"
Gideon explains, Dick chuckling. "Been blind this whole time, huh?"
"As a bat." Gideon retorts, laughing shakily.
The two basically pick up where they left off(as best they can), and Dick informs Gideon of his time in Blüdhaven.
Even then, Gideon still calls Dick every night to make sure he hasn't left again without saying goodbye, even making jokes about that being a tendency of his, even if it's on accident.
Gideon even removed the alarms on his windows for if he gets nightmares about his family trying to get him to come back home so if he's still awake, Dick can come over to try to help him recover, most likely staying the night.
In other words? I want them to kiss.
Post writing Hunter here: Dick helps Gideon get his spark back a bit, too! :D

Remembered my old incomplete pages from a Fgo x transformers crossover I tried doing a while ago and guess i never shared them here so might as well get to it. This scene was specifically based on the 8th issue of the Marvel run where Ratchet looks for the Dinobots tho with Mordred this time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
With this being based on the Marvel run, there was a lot of ink shading so wanna change that if i get back to it. Guda and the crew would've went through multiple transformer universes tho the main g1 setting would be a mix of various G1 and Beast Era media, based on my own timeline for another project.
Mordred would have to his Noble Phantasm to get rid of the tar the Dinobots were stuck in. The Dinobots were also based on their comic personalities tho were born during the war like the cartoon though back on Cybertron instead of Earth
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The epilogue was basically on a very far future that was actually in Fgo's world and that the current Maximals & Predacons would soon start their own Holy Grail War with their discovery of Chaldea's ruins. Shokaract, Bluebolt, and Untite were the intended characters here
Tumblr media
Some other pages were basically while Guda & co. were going to tf based singularities, Galvatron shows up to Chaldea thanks to Unicron. Cu was the one who threw a rock at galva. I have rewritten it a bit to where Cyclonus & Scourge were also tagging along
