Father Time: *the images disappear*

Roy: *pinches the bridge of his nose* How about you don't show your version of my baby pictures to internet strangers?

Father Time: But why not?

Mother Nature: The two of you were so cute! *pinches TF's cheek*

I love your Star Wars fic, and I'm super excited to learn more about it. Also, if you're okay with sharing, what would the Original Trilogy look like in your story? Would it mostly follow Brinna, or would it be a mix of hers and Cori’iana's POVs?

Oh boy! I haven't even gotten there as far as planning. I'm still on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. I'll be sure to post something if I ever get there! :)

“What exactly are we doing at a graveyard during Halloween?” 🪦

The distant sound of music, laughter, and the occasional cheer reached even this dark place, and Mother Nature continued, "You're missing the party."

Tooth Fairy sighed and turned to face Mother Nature. "Well..."

She already knew what he was going to ask her, and she smiled sadly and shook her head. "What you're hoping for...it's not--"

"But here it might be." They stood in The Hollow's cemetery, where his sister's wings had been laid to rest. "I've seen ghosts around this place, but I've never seen hers. Alpha says that...the...something between this world and the spirit world..."

"The veil," Mother Nature supplied before laying a gentle hand on his shoulder. "And she is right. On this night there is some overlap. But--"

"And maybe if I can see her, just talk to her for a few minutes..." Tooth Fairy had to stop speaking for a moment to keep control of himself. "I just wanna say I'm sorry..."

Mother Nature shook her head, but her breath caught in her throat when a faint figure appeared at his shoulder. The figure didn't have much substance, but she recognized her immediately. "That's not possible..."

"What?" Tooth Fairy turned to look where she was looking, and some sort of indescribable sound escaped him before he clapped a hand over his mouth. "Brinna! I...I'm...I'm so sorry...I..."

Brinna, for that was who it was, shook her head and fluttered her wings, which were once more attached to her back in her spirit form. "You always did take everything onto yourself, big brother. A people pleaser, through and through. I was wrong. I was stupid and stubborn, and I hurt you. You were right to yell at me that day. I'm the one who's sorry."

Tooth Fairy rushed forward to embrace her, but he passed right through her and fell to hands and knees, completely unashamed of the flood of tears he was in.

Brinna walked in front of him and knelt down. "What happened happened. It's done. It can't be changed. But I'm okay now. And you're going to be okay, too. It's time to let go..."

"I...I know." He sniffled and wiped his face, then gave a tearful laugh. "Love ya, brat."

Brinna giggled, already beginning to fade from view. "Love you too, fart-face. Now, pull yourself together and go join the party. Alpha is waiting for you."

Tooth Fairy heaved a shaky sigh, then felt Mother Nature's hand on his shoulder again. He got to his feet, and accepted it when she put her arms around him and held his head to her shoulder.

Her own cheeks were wet, and she smiled. "My child...my children...it would seem that Alpha's holiday has blessed you with a very precious gift."

"Yeah..."

"no, no, no, no, no!" accompanied by a litany of curses muttered more or less under his breath as he basically flew down the stairs of the metro station. a skilled and practiced jump over the faregate - maybe his best one yet, shame he can't revel in his success - his metro card left at home, of course, he proceeds at supernatural speed. if he doesn't make this train he's going to be stuck here. not for too long but a good few hours and after the day he's had, it's not exactly his idea of a nice evening. "come on, come on..." spurring himself on, looks like he just made it in the nick of time - " hold the door! jesus, hold the doo-" met with what he could only describe as an amused yet bewidlered expression on the person standing closest to the door, daniel's shoulders drop in disappointment as the doors closed in front of him, the train whirring to a start before it's out of sight. daniel released a breath he didn't know he'd been holding. "man, what is it, asshole day? why is nobody holding the freaking- damn it!" now acutely of how out of breath he actually was, his attempt at kicking whatever inanimate object is closes to him in frustration fails horribly. the leg of the bench is, as it turns out, very unforgiving and, while daniel hops on one leg following that realisation, the contents of his bag decide to empty themselves out onto the floor of the subway station.

standing there for a moment, simply ... looking, taking it in, in a sort of freeze-frame 'yup, that's me, you probably wonder how i got myself in this situation' movie moment, he didn't register the eyes on him until a moment later. he wants to actually sink into the ground now, please. " .... i was gonna say i hope you didn't see that but ... unlikely, huh ? "
