I would LOVE a deeper voice and fat redistribution #but like. that’s it #I would not want it to do anything else #in fact that idea of anything else and potentially ‘passing’ as a man makes me VISCERALLY uncomfortable #I do not want to be a man and I do not want ppl to perceive me as a man #but the same is true for being a woman #I do not like a lot of feminine traits but I do not want to strictly trade them for masculine ones #UNFORTINATELY you cannot pick and choose the affects of hrt #there is no way to ‘look androgynous’ (which is what I want)#(yes ik you can use shapewear and makeup and contour and that can do SOME)#(but it’s A LOT of work and effort I don’t have time or energy to do every day)#(and there’s still some things about my body I wouldn’t be able to alter doing stuff like that)#and it’s like sure I could go on T. but I’d still have this problem just the opposite direction #and it. sucks #it sucks so hard knowing there’s literally no conceivable way I will ever just have a body #that correlates to how I feel gender wise and will get people to ‘gender me correctly’#just based on how I look #and it’s something I’ve been thinking about recently a lot and it’s making me FHDJDKKSSKKSKS in a bad way #I know it’s cuz it’s pride month and I follow A LOT of trans ppl #who are posting trans pride and hrt and surgery info and stuff #(and obviously these are all very good things as I said)#it’s just. because of my particular situation they make me feel… bad #because I won’t ever have an option to be comfortable and happy with how I look lol

Twas from a past pride month I think? Either way here u go. Canonically none of my trolls are like “straight” in the human sense lol they don’t exactly have a concept of it or like most human sexualities due to different social norms and all to them it’s like baseline everything is a valid relationship and any gender expression is also just as valid (why I tend to mark them as masc fem or enby presenting not male or female weird biology headcanon stuff yada yada they are not human) their universes Alternians are more concerned with blood anyways.

Considering quadrants everyone here is technically poly to an extent that’s literally just a cultural thing with seeking out two partners. ANYWAYS.

Sauron is gay he prefers masc romantic partners and he is demi so under the ace umbrella

Falmea is pan and aromantic

Majell is a lesbian she just prefers more fem trolls

Helstm is bi

Then Cybele and Cyrusk are both pan!

i honestly feel like the cis vs. trans debate depends on how we’re defining the terms. “trans” as in “no association with your agab whatsoever”? probably excludes a good sum of trans people. “cis” as in “only expresses their gender through stereotypical presentation and/or never experiments with the concept of gender”? probably excludes a good chunk of cis people. but this doesn’t necessarily conflict with or negate the cultural significance of being cisgender or transgender and labeling those experiences as such. cis and trans people obviously receive very different treatments and privileges, so it’s less about strictly defining what it means to be cis or trans and more about how these terms (as broad groupings) help us understand and identify where we stand. they’re communication devices first and foremost, not diagnoses. i hope that makes sense

#which is why i bagged on that post. the point of cis/trans/gay/straight/allo/ace is that they’re labels created to express a part of us and #describe experiences that impact our social power and how we are treated #straight and gay are incompatible as tangent labels not because they’re like polar opposites or because they’re different species or smthn #but because they are two different social classes at an institutional level #and because the words were created to identify this inequality. ‘straight’ literally means ‘exclusive opposite gender attraction’ which obvs #conflicts with the definition of gay. like to say you can be both is to say that these words are essentially meaningless and were invented #as borders that don’t actually exist. and there’s a sliver of a chance that in a different world this could be true #but right now in this political climate the distinction matters. abolishing and disregarding the meaning of these words literally helps #no one #having words and labels and language to express ourselves is very crucial so i’m really not interested in arguments that are essentially #‘i use words regardless of what they mean or the weight they carry because it doesn’t matter to me’’#besides if you told a gay person irl that they could be straight also or that there’s no difference between them and their oppressor they’d #fucking punch you lol #neon talks

as I get older I realize a lot of ppl don’t know what healthy sibling/familial bonds look like they don’t even have the slightest idea
