Today so far has been super busy and exhausting for me at work, and customers have just been total jackasses. Right when I was about to literally lose my mind a kid (most likely between the ages of 10-14) and who I’m assuming was his older brother came through the line and when I escorted them to the register to help the pay the kid starts singing “good to be bad” from Descendants 3! My heart is full and I’m pretty sure it was a sign to keep going! I sound coo coo bananas but I think Cams watching over me guys 😌 he’s looking after and watching over all of us!!!

Happy 22nd birthday to our forever angel, Cameron Mica Boyce. He would’ve been 22 today. He was so full of life, so charismatic, yet so gracious and humble. His short time on this earth was not wasted or in vain. He did so much to bring light to important issues like finding accessibility to clean drinking water and initiatives to aid in stopping gun violence. He was an amazing actor, singer, b-boy, friend, son, brother, role model, but most importantly he was just an all around good person. Cameron, please know while you are dancing amongst the stars and making your way around heaven we still love and miss you dearly. That will never change. It will never stop. cameron was  part of the franchise that captured my heart & led me to one of my best friends in the world, ana aka @wyattlykensen. ever since i saw the first descendants in 2015, my dream was to be able to meet the actors for the core four someday, and i’d just gotten tickets for ana and i to go to an early premiere in new york with dove, booboo, and cameron. i was so heartbroken when the news dropped — i woke up to several dozen messages / texts from others relaying the news. i remember i cried on and off all day, and my heart hurts just thinking about how the rest of the cast felt and must still feel. cameron was a gift and a blessing to this world, and it’s truly not fair he was taken from us so soon. may his memory be a blessing and may his kindness be a guiding light.

Life isn't fair

Call me selfish but and don't get me wrong, I am proud of everyone who I love for moving on to bigger projects but I am also heartbroken that Cam wont be moving on to bigger things like his friends and that makes me sad. He had just left Disney and was moving on to bigger things. Everytime I see his friends do other stuff now, apart of me will be broken. I am proud of them but Cam should still be here. He should get to do many more things outside of Disney. He was just starting to get a taste of what it felt to do and be apart of bigger things. He had so much left to do and give. The world was robbed of Cameron Mica Boyce, a true earth angel. He will forever be missed by many. Life isn't fair at all. I miss that freckly faced kid who made a huge impact in the world. He left the earth too soon. We will never forget you Cam. Thank you for changing the world then and even now.

Hoy cumpliría años Cameron Mica Boyce, (1999 -2019) fue un actor estadounidense conocido por sus papeles en los largometrajes Mirrors, Eagle Eye, Descendants, Descendants 2, Descendants 3, Grown Ups, y Grown Ups 2, así como por sus papeles como Luke Ross en la serie original de Disney Channel Jessie y como Connor en la serie Disney XD Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything. Boyce falleció el 6 de julio de 2019 a las 14:35 hora local, a la edad de 20 años en su casa en Los Ángeles. El deceso del actor se produjo mientras dormía, debido a una convulsión, resultado de una patología en curso por la que estaba siendo tratado.Luego se supo que el joven actor había sido previamente diagnosticado con epilepsia  por lo que se presumió que había tenido un status epilepticus que le provocó la muerte. Se realizó una autopsia, pero la divulgación de la causa de muerte se aplazó, hasta que se realizara una investigación más a fondo. Los resultados de la autopsia fueron publicados por el Departamento Forense del Condado de Los Ángeles el 30 de julio de 2019, confirmando que la causa de la muerte de Boyce se debió a una muerte repentina e inesperada por epilepsia. Hello 👋 everyone! My name is Zoë, I’m 21, from Charlotte, North Carolina, and run this blog for all things Cameron Mica Boyce related. although I didn’t know Cameron personally I considered him an idol, and a friend. I didn’t grow up with many close friends so I had the Disney Channel show “Jessie” to look forward to every week. I won’t lie Cameron and Skai were the only reason I really liked watching the program, because they made me feel like I was their family and friend, too. Cameron was a radiant, talented, genius individual. He would’ve really gone far in his career... Although I am sad about his passing it does not take away from the beautiful memories I have of watching Jessie, seeing interviews, or even watching Cameron’s YouTube channel videos of him and his friends from XMOB!
