Command Performance (2009)
Tumblr media
Summary: Russian premier Alexei Petrov (Hristo Shopov) is taken hostage at a pop concert, and it is up to drummer and ex-biker Joe (Dolph Lundgren) to try and save him.
Perfectly serviceable Die Hard at a pop concert. Lundgren just wanted to drum in a film, let's be real here.

Horror Movie Review: The Incident (2012)
You won’t feel good after experiencing The Incident but you will remember it.
Also going under the name of Asylum Blackout, The Incident was directed by Alexandre Courtès and written by S. Craig Zahler. It stars Rupert Evans, Dave Legeno, Anna Skellern, Richard Brake, Kenny Doughty and Joseph Kennedy. Flying completely under the radar when it first came out, The Incident is a delightful surprise of a horror/thriller. One with a solid story, likable characters, impressive…

Asylum Blackout - 2011
Rupert Evans, Kenny Doughty, Joseph Kennedy, Dave Legeno, Richard Brake, Marcus Garvey
Review: I don't know what happened with this movie. It was the same writer as "Bone Tomahawk" and "Brawl In Cell Block 99" both movies I thought were good. This movie was a terrible mess, that barely kept my attention.
First of all. I was confused. This movie advertises it as an asylum with violent inmates, but the beginning of the movie has almost no security personnel or security measures present. All of the mentally unstable inmates are shuffled into a single room with no restraints, and maybe four members of security total.
There seems to be no administrative staff or doctors present. They have a single nurse to distribute pills with the dinner the kitchen crew makes. The head security guard also seems to be running everything as he asks the head of the kitchen to come in early the next day because someone needs to be there to meet and unload the truck of meat coming in the next day.
Confusing staff issues aside, this movie was incredibly boring. I actually paused the movie because I wanted to see how long it had been since something had happened. The movie is not even an hour and a half long, but I think they try to cram all the action into the last half hour of the movie.
I don't like or dislike any of the characters because I don't know anything about any of them except, somehow, the entire kitchen staff is in a band together. Unfortunately this means that there isn't really any tension. You don't have any reason to care about the characters, because there is absolutely no character development and because of that you don't really care what happens to them.
This movie takes place in the 80's, but when the blackout happens they can't keep any of the inmates in their cells because all the locks are electronically powered. First of all, huge design flaw, but I wouldn't assume electronically powered locks for 25-50 inmates in the 80's would be a thing? Especially with an asylum that doesn't seem to have the money for a fully operational staff.
When people do actually start to die, it's uncreative and boring. One guys gets stabbed with a piece of rebar that the inmates just happen to find laying around? Okay. One guy gets thrown onto and burned alive on an oven, and we get to hear a clearly voiced over scream, that isn't well done.
I honestly have nothing good to say about this movie. It was a slog to get through, poorly written, poorly acted, and honestly the worst movie I've watched this month.
3/10

In early July of 2014 I was in Green Oaks Psych Ward in Dallas, Texas and I had an extremely vivid dream where an entity came to me and said I could combine with "the actor named David from Harry Potter who played a werewolf" in a "once in a lifetime opportunity to become an antichrist" (not THE. AN.) but ironically both of them are/were named David, which I didn't even know until later, and in the dream I assumed the entity was referring to Thewlis. Anyway, "in the dream" I astral projected to California, like I could see on a map in the dream where I projected to...some weird desert area, and I had to basically kill someone in astral and then woke up, just thinking "damn that was a weird dream" and basicallly thought nothing of it until I learned that Dave Legeno died in the location I projected to in my dream, so that's sketched me out for years because at the time I wrote it off as nonsensical because wtf would one of the HP actors be doing in the middle of the desert in Cali at that point? But apparently he was.

Dave Legeno x OC Reader
"Now explain this!!? This is unbelievable Cleo! This behavior! I want you to apologize to both of them when they get back! And clean this up!!" She yells very upset "You are 21 for fuck's sake. Not 10" "YOU THINK I DONT KNOW THAT!! AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, IF YOU HADNT DUMPED THIS ON US, I WOULDNT HAVE DESTROYED HALF OF THE GODDAMN TRAINING ROOM" i say to her lashing out at her. She flinches and looks at me. "God you are a disgrace to this family "she says coldly and walks back upstairs. as soon as she's back upstairs, i close my eyes and a surge of energy is released destroying the entire training room.
after 30 minutes everything is back to normal and I'm back upstairs while you were taking a small nap. the three men had come back, and I apologized for yesterday's behavior.
i was watching a HP movie (no surprise there) when I felt the weight of the couch next to me shift. i looked up and saw Dave sitting there with a small smile on his face as he just looked at the tv and watched the astronomy tower scene in the 6th movie.
He looks over at me.."hey...do you... do you mind...?" He asks forgetting to ask before. "I mean i can leave if you want me to "
i chuckle "of course not, you can stay of you want" i say with a small smile on my face.
He nods and smiles softly at me. "How are you feeling?"
"im fine. what about you, how are you feeling about all of this" i ask him quickly changing the topic towards him.
"Um... good. I guess..." he shrugs and looks away
"i-im sorry about yesterday in the woods. i didn't mean to be harsh towards you. and thank you" i say to him
"Thats fine. Don't worry about it" he says not looking at me and keeps watching the tv He looks at me. "Don't worry. You are very beautiful by the way. That's probably weird for me to say to you but its true "0
i blush at the complement and try to hide my smile when him and the other death eaters appear on the tv screen. without realizing it, i start saying his line at the same time as the tv, forgetting he was there for a few seconds. "he doesn't have the stomach just like his father. give him to me and ill finish him off in my own way" i say along to the tv.
He smiles and looks at me. "You know it well. A true fan i see" he smiles more and looks back at the tv as my mom comes down.
"Where is your father Cleo?" She asks in a panic He looks at her. "I think in his office ma'am" he says as she hurry's off.
i blush even more "yeah i am, ive always been a fan since the first time i watched this movie. im surprised i haven't started an online war about who's better: Remus lupin or Fenrir greyback." i say chuckling.
He laughs and nods. "Definitely me" he says smiling
"most definitely, and your character is better looking" i say laughing a little.
He smiles "im glad you think so Cleo" He sits closer to me. "What else in the movies do you like? Which is your favorite?" "what can i say i root for the Slytherin gang" i say as i notice him get closer. "hmm, im not sure, basically anything Slitheryn, and the boggart scene in the third movie. deathly hallows part 1, when the snatchers appear and start chasing the trio" i say to him as i try to hide my blush. He nods and goes back to watching the movie "What else would you like to talk about?"
"well for starters, i would actually like to get to know you, and not just the acting side of you. like what's your favorite food, hobby, what you would be doing for a job if you weren't a MMA fighter or an actor, favorite color, i have so many questions" i say as i try to control the fangirl part of me.
He smiles. "Why don't we go outside and i will answer all your questions? Its a nice day out" he says getting up and extending his hand for me to take i nod as i take his hand. he leads me outside. we sit by the pool, which for him is a dangerous situation just waiting to happen.
Should I make a part 2?

“This memory is a different kind of magic. Very dark. Very parcel. Without it, we are blind. It leaves the fate of our world to chance. You have no choice, you must not fail. Once again, I must ask too much of you, Harry.”
