OK i found this in my drafts I was thinking about my experiences in the creepypasta fandom and how there were like. Districts and sub districts and genres and fandom districts so

The main, popular section (the Slender mansion, if you will)- this house contained the most popular characters and was kind of the hub for those in it, widely considered to be canon to the fanon if that makes any sense. The characters on this level (approximately) are:

o   These two are also from a separate district but we’ll get there

 Now of all those districts combined, there were fandom districts that stuck to one component of fandom for the whole thing. Of course, there were parts that were one or more combined, but the main districts were:

o   People who enjoyed it for the horror, the multitude of stories and the atmosphere.

The thirst

o   Usually being people ages 11-15, they were the ones that made the egregious sexyification of the most popular boys in the fandom and wrote the most fanfiction.

The uwu

o   The cutesy section- in the same vein as the thirst but in the opposite, softer direction. Best example is Cweepypasta.

The creators

o   Whether or not this is a good thing, this group was the main contender of the whole fandom. These were the ones who make the creepypastas, the OCs, and every ask blog and comic series you could think of. Most dabbled in this group at least once or twice.

The shitposters

o   Exactly what it sounds like. These people made all the crack videos and MMD comps and humor comics- whether or not these were actually funny is up to you.

And finally, the groups that were/are often confused with being creepypasta but weren’t, including but not limited to:
