Semi Automatic Capsule Counting Machine

Semi-automatic capsule counting machine counts and fills pre-measured capsules into bottles, jars, and pouches. It also has a semi-automatic capsule counter. Various counts for varying capsule sizes can be provided based on the specific needs of each user. It’s interesting to note that this capsule counting machine can fill and count tablets with an extra disc in the same machine. This machine is also known as a semi-automatic tablet counting machine for this reason.
The capsule counting and filling machine is a disc-based device that conforms with cGMP regulations because the disk is made of food-grade materials. The likelihood of contamination is quite low. A specially made vibrator assembly is available in a dish to fully settle capsules into the disc’s holes. It’s interesting that the machine has both an auto and a foot pedal-operated manual mode for multitasking. With its cutting-edge technology, robust construction, and affordable costs, Adinath is among the top producers of capsule counting machines in India.

married man | j. halstead
request:Can you do a Jay Halstead x Reader. They are both married and have a child together. The child just started pre-k or kindergarten and since the reader is heavily pregnant Jay has been dropping off and picking up their kid. And maybe like the single moms are flirting with Jay since they think he might be a single dad but they get surprised when the reader picks the kid one day after giving birth.
pairing: established (married) fem!reader x jay halstead
word count: 1.75k
warnings: none??
a/n: dad!jay dad!jay dad!jay !!!!! they have a little boy (his name is dylan) and a newborn girlie (what should her name be)
------
Grumbling as the alarm went off, you blindly reached over and whacked Jay on the chest. “Why’s it have to be so loud?”
Jay chuckled, silencing his phone’s alarm. “It’s not even that loud, babe.”
You glared at him through narrow eyes. “If I wasn’t about to pop right now I’d give you a piece of my mind.”
Letting out a hearty laugh, Jay got out of bed and folded his portion of the comforter back up, trapping the heat for you. “Only a few more weeks, babe. Then you’ll be able to move without having to pee every two seconds.”
You slowly followed Jay, yawning and rubbing the nine-month bump as you headed into the kitchen to package your son’s lunch.
He had recently started kindergarten, and loved telling you and Jay about all his escapades with his classmates as he learned different things.
“I could’ve done that, you didn’t have to get up.” Jay said, popping a capsule into the coffee machine and starting it.
Shrugging, you zipped the lunchbox closed and set it next to the matching blue backpack, one hand going to rub at the sore spot on your back. “I knew I wasn’t going to be able to fall back to sleep.”
Jay noticed, and his hands slowly made their way to the exact spot that bothered you in your first pregnancy. “Who do you thinks going to ask me out today, hm?”
Laughing softly, you clicked your tongue at Jay. “You really enjoy that, don’t you? Miss getting hit on?”
Jay shook his head. “Don’t miss it one bit. Just enjoy seeing those soccer moms think their whispers are quiet.”
A few weeks ago Jay had mentioned that some of the moms at drop-off had been talking about Jay, commenting on his lack of wedding band and no significant other ever at drop off or pick up.
“Momma, when will you go to school with me?” Dylan asked, your son finally making his appearance in his pajamas.
“Soon, little bug. Once Little Sister is here, I’ll drop you off with Daddy some days.”
Dylan frowned. “Can Sissy come now?”
You huffed, wanting nothing more than to deliver the weight that seemed to be constantly on your bladder. “I wish, but I think she needs a few more weeks.”
Jay smiled into his coffee cup, phone chiming with a text from Hailey. “Come on, Dyl. Let’s get dressed so you can show your friends your new shoes.”
Dylan beamed at the thought, and followed Jay back to his room, leaving you alone in the warm kitchen. The aroma of coffee lingered as you found a chair to rest in, hand absently tracing circles over your distended belly.
A sigh of contentment escaped you; this was your world, and despite the groggy mornings and occasional aggravations - like trying to convince Dylan to brush his teeth properly - you wouldn’t change it for anything else. That was the beauty of family - it wasn’t always perfect, but it was yours. And that made all the imperfections precious in their own odd way.
The sound of Jay's voice pulled you from your thoughts as he asked Dylan to choose between two shirts. You smiled, knowing how seriously your little boy took these morning decisions. Sipping on some water and slowly standing up, you decided to start breakfast.
The scent of eggs and bacon soon filled the room, joining the still lingering coffee aroma. Dylan would be excited; he loved his simple morning breakfasts. As you were flipping an egg, Jay returned with Dylan in tow. Their matching grins caught your eye.
“What are you two up to?” You questioned playfully, adjusting your hold on your bump.
“Nothing,” they both chimed in unison, their grins growing even wider.
“Okay,” you drew out the first syllable, grabbing a plate and moving the eggs for Dylan to eat, blowing on them as you cut them into pieces.
“Eat, then Daddy will bring you to school.” You smiled, cracking a few more eggs and grabbing a tortilla and the toppings you knew Jay liked, quickly making a breakfast wrap for him.
Wrapping it in foil, you smiled to yourself as you heard Jay helping Dylan put on his sneakers.
“Ok, we gotta go, Little Man! Go give Momma a kiss.”
Dylan skipped over to you, wrapping his little arms around your legs, promising you he’d come home with a drawing to put in the nursery.
Thanking him, you smiled at Jay as he grabbed the wrap and his badge, stopping to press a kiss to your forehead. “Take it easy today, babe.”
“I will. Go break hearts and catch perps, Jay.”
——
Jay hid his eye roll as he followed Dylan to the drop off location, ignoring the looks from the few single mothers nearby.
“I mean, who in their right mind wouldn’t grab that ass? He’s such a good dad, too.”
Jay overheard one of the mothers and shook his head, stifling a laugh. He still found it amusing and somewhat flattering to know that he was the topic of their little gossip circle. But he also knew firmly where his heart lay - at home with you and Dylan, and soon, your new little girl.
As Dylan scampered off towards his classroom, he turned to Jay with a big grin. "Daddy, do you think I can tell Mrs. Johnson about Sissy coming soon?"
Jay bent down to his level, ruffling his hair affectionately. "Of course, buddy. I'm sure she will be thrilled to hear it."
At that moment, a pair of giggling women walked by, shooting him suggestive glances over their shoulders. He merely smiled politely before turning away.
Arriving back at the car, Jay pulled out his phone and saw a text from you: Feeling better now that the house is empty. How did drop off go?
He quickly typed back: Smooth as always. He's telling all his teachers about his soon-to-be little sister.
Satisfied, he started the vehicle and headed towards the precinct. His phone chimed again with your response: That's my boy! Take care at work, Jay.
He chuckled as he imagined you grinning at your phone, feet kicked up on the coffee table even though you often chided him for doing the same thing.
——
The routine didn’t shift for the next few weeks, but the gossiping mothers were surprised when Dylan was dropped off by Will one day, Jay at the hospital where you were currently resting with the newest addition to the family.
“Uncle Will, can we see Momma and Sissy after school?” Dylan asked, tugging on his uncle’s hand.
"Of course, buddy," Will replied with a soft smile, watching as Dylan's face lit up with joy. "I bet they can't wait to see you."
Once Dylan scampered off towards his classroom, Will indulged in a moment of silence. He was used to the emergency room's relentless noise and bustle, so the unfamiliar hush of the school yard in the early morning was a welcome respite. A group of mothers were huddled together, shooting glances his way. Perhaps he was becoming part of their gossip routine now too - he silently hoped otherwise.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Jay could barely tear his gaze away from you sleeping peacefully, the tiny bundle in his arms a testament to your strength and love. His heart swelled in his chest at the sight; you looked more beautiful than ever, your face radiating an exhausted but blissful glow as your daughter, their daughter, clung onto his finger with her small hand.
Just then, she stirred awake and let out a soft whimper which turned into a loud wail. He quickly got up and started to gently rock her, not wanting her cries to disturb your much-needed rest.
“Hey there, little princess,” he cooed softly as he bounced her gently in his arms. “Let’s not wake Mommy up now.”
After a few minutes of gentle rocking and hushed lullabies - Jay trying his best to remember the ones you sung to Dylan when he was an infant, the baby quieted down, blue eyes peering up at her father.
“Hi, munchkin. You already have half of Chicago’s first responders wrapped around your finger.” He whispered, soft smile at his lips as he thought back to the replies from his team when he sent the photo of the baby in the group chat.
"The other half is itching to meet you. Just wait until Uncle Will gets a hold of you. You're going to be spoiled rotten." He laughed softly, mindlessly tracing a finger over his daughter's tiny forehead.
His phone buzzed where he had left it on the bedside table. It was a message from Will letting him know that Dylan had been dropped off at school and asking if they could come by after school to see the baby.
Jay's heart swelled, even more, knowing his son was equally excited about his little sister's arrival. Jay quickly typed a response, assuring Will they would be more than happy to have visitors later in the day.
——
The day passed in a flurry of nurses checking vitals and bringing meals, phone calls from family and friends, and quiet moments spent marveling over their newest addition. Dylan was bursting with energy when Will brought him by after school, his wide eyes taking in everything with an infectious excitement that had everyone in the room smiling.
"Momma, Sissy is really small!" Dylan whispered in awe as he approached the bed, carefully peering over the edge of the bassinet.
You chuckled at his innocent observation as Jay helped him climb up onto the bed to get a better look. "Yes, she is," you agreed with a fond smile. "You were that small, too, Little Man!”
Dylan looked at you with wide eyes, shaking his head. “Nuh-uh!”
“Mhmm!” You replied, fixing his shirt as he squirmed to get another look at his sister.
“When can you and Sissy come to school?” He asked, looking at you.
Jay laughed quietly, and you looked at your husband. “Soon, Dyl.”
——
Two weeks later, you consoled the crying baby as Jay helped Dylan put his backpack on. “Can Sissy come meet Mrs. Johnson?”
Shaking your head, you carefully strapped the little girl into her carrier, softly rubbing her cheek. “Not yet. Maybe during the spring concert, but she’s still too little.”
Jay stood up and grabbed his keys. “She can help Momma and Daddy drop you off, though. That sound good?”
Dylan’s face lit up at the thought. “Yeah! Everyone will get to see her!” He jumped excitedly before Jay guided him out the door.
Satisfied with your successful early morning, you carried the baby carrier to the car and buckled it in securely at the back seat. Moving around was still a little tough for you but you were slowly getting the hang of things. You climbed into the passenger side, glancing back at Dylan who was squirming in his seat with anticipation.
The drive to the school was filled with Dylan's non-stop chatter about what he was going to show his little sister. Jay had a soft smile on his face as he listened to his son, occasionally glancing at you in admiration and shared joy.
Once they arrived in front of the school, Dylan unbuckled himself and carefully opened your car door for you. “Be careful, Momma!” He cautioned, making Jay chuckle as he followed behind with his son’s backpack.
You smiled, letting Jay go ahead with Dylan so he wasn’t late, working to unstrap your daughter’s carrier so Dylan could see her one last time before he was in school.
“Jay, haven’t seen you the last few days. Is everything okay?” One of the mothers who had tried to hit on Jay asked, faux worry on her face.
Jay wore a smile as he turned to the woman, Dylan's hand tucked safely in his own as they made their way toward the school entrance. "Yeah, everything’s great, actually. My wife just gave birth to our second child," he responded casually, nodding his head towards the car where you were carefully lifting the baby carrier.
The woman blinked in surprise before offering a tight-lipped smile, "Oh, I didn’t know... congratulations."
"Thanks," Jay replied with a nod before turning his attention back to Dylan whose bundle of excitement was barely contained. As Jay opened the door for him to enter he looked into the bright eyes of his son and smiled reassuringly, "You ready?"
Dylan nodded eagerly, already tugging on his father's hand to drag him inside. Jay followed docilely, striding up the hallway towards Dylan's classroom.
Meanwhile, you were still out by the car, struggling slightly with the baby carrier that seemed to weigh even more than your now two-week-old daughter. A few mothers noticed and stepped forward to help you, their faces lighting up at the sight of the infant bundled up against the cold.
"Oh she's absolutely adorable!" One woman cooed, and you recognized her from when Jay was telling you how one of them started to wear low-cut tops after he started doing drop off duty.
You walked with them to the doors, smile brightening when you saw Jay and Dylan at the door, the young boy wanting to say goodbye to his sister.
“Bye, Sissy! Bye, Momma!” Dylan smiled, giving his sister a kiss and hugging your legs, unaware that his farewells caused the mothers who had walked with you to gasp lightly.
Jay’s smile widened at Dylan's display of affection, ruffling his son's hair gently, "Alright, champ. We’ll pick you up later. Have a great day at school."
Dylan nodded eagerly before disappearing into the bustling school building with his teacher. The remaining mothers turned to you, their surprised expressions replaced by warm, slender smiles as they admired your little girl.
Back in the car, you laughed as Jay started the ignition. “Think I felt the daggers from some of the moms when they found out you’re married.”
Jay snorted, turning back to the road to your house. “Well, that or when they found out we have great sex. Either way, watch your back, babe.”
You gawked at Jay’s remark, hitting him in the chest. “Jay! Your daughter is listening!”
“Oh, she’ll hear worse when Ruz babysits her." ------ a/n: send requests if you wanna!!

inky, tawny, teddy!
Your tastes might be ridiculous... but Gojo's weakness for you?
Now, that's a whole new level of ridiculous.
pairing: gojo satoru x fem!reader tags: teen!gojo; teen!reader; tooth-rotting fluff; humor; gojo and you have been engaged since childhood because of an agreement between his clan and yours; neither of you really knows what that means now; pining looks so cute on gojo; denial too looks good on him; vaguely unestablished relationship; vaguely long-distance relationship; word count—895. warnings: none. this is a sequel of sorts to 'lychee pops!', but please feel free to treat it as a stand-alone if you wanna!! notes: many people asked me to write more for these two, so here it is, my loves!! hope you'll enjoy reading this, babes!! ❤️❤️
It's 10:30 at night, and Gojo Satoru finds himself standing in front of a vending machine.
But not for a snack, nor for canned coffee, and certainly not for that disgusting hot corn soup Shoko loves to sip, as if it isn't some crime against humanity.
No—this is the kind of machine that feels like it should be in a forgotten corner of a forgotten festival. Or maybe in one of the small shops that sell foolish knickknacks—things people don't really need, but they buy anyway.
Lit up by a single neon light—flickering, at that—the machine hums. Gojo feels a chilly breeze rush through the alley, sending a shiver up his spine and lifting his hair a bit. The night smells of rain on asphalt, of exhaust and smoke, of city life and its restless hubbub.
All the while, the boy—who should technically be asleep in his dorm right now; who could be anywhere else in this large, loud city—stays standing before the vending machine. Staring at the capsules filled with cheap things, idiotic things, hands shoved deep into his hoodie pockets and his mouth tugged down into a frown that is not quite a frown anymore.
This is stupid, he tells himself. Very, very stupid.
And yet, he stays right there.
He lets his eyes scan the chart of little plastic prizes—frogs, hearts, cats, stars—until something catches his eye.
A tiny teddy bear keychain.
White as snow, with round ears, stubby arms, and two black bead eyes that somehow seem to be staring right back at him.
Oh, wow, he thinks dryly.
Because the second he sees it, he thinks of you. His mind goes to the way you'd tilt your head, smiling softly because it'd remind you of the teddy bear you lost when you were a tiny kid. Even without you here, Gojo can already picture your fingers wiggling in that ridiculous little wave, a silent "I want it".
You would lose it over this thing.
The thought makes his lips twitch. Only a bit. Before he heaves a sigh as though he is being forced into something painful—even though no one is watching, and nobody is making him do it.
Nearly reluctantly, he digs a handful of coins from his pocket, then feeds them into the machine one by one—carefully listening to each sharp clink of metal—as if he is paying some kind of penance, eager for it to be over.
Soon enough, the coins are gone. And the capsule drops with a light, hollow, echoing thunk. He sighs again, then squats, pops it open and lifts the keychain by its thin gold chain.
It looks even stupider up close—this tiny white bear, dangling in the air, catching the glow of the neon light above.
Gojo stares at it for a moment.
Then—only because he feels the need to, for some reason—he mutters under his breath, "You better love this, dummy."
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
Gojo wraps it up the next morning.
He's not any good at this kind of thing, though. But then again, it isn't like you are either, so he does not really care—not that the boy would have cared, were you good.
He simply scrounges up a bleak envelope, shoves the keychain inside with a bit of tissue he finds at the bottom of Geto's bag, then studies it. He grimaces, then adds a folded scrap of paper.
don't get weird about it. just saw it and thought of you. it's stupid—just like you.
Sealing it, he scrawls your name and the address of your clan's estate on the front in messy handwriting, then goes to drop it off in a nearby red post box before he can change his mind.
And then—well, Gojo heads to his classes and forgets about it.
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
Gojo does not actually forget about it.
He thinks about it, all day and all evening—until the moment he is sitting down with his dinner, and his phone buzzes in his pocket.
Half-eager, and half-ready to feign distraction and indifference, the boy flips it open—then pauses.
Your face fills his phone's screen—you and your bright grin, your shining eyes, and the tiny bear you're holding up beside you. As if it has made your entire day. As if it is already the most precious thing you own.
Gojo just stares at the photo.
For one beat. For two beats. Maybe for a whole minute—he is not sure, nor particularly bothered, truth be told.
His thumb hovers over the keys. He wonders if he should send back some smart remark. Or a joke.
Eventually, Gojo moves his thumb away, finding himself smiling—not his usual wide, mischievous ones, but something smaller. Maybe even realer. The kind of smile that sneaks up on the boy, softening his whole face without him meaning it to.
"Ridiculous," he mutters—but the word comes out unbearably fond, more a soft little laugh than a complaint.
He stares at the bear's dumb face for a second more. Then, shaking his head, he slides his phone back into his pocket, and leans back in his seat, eyes drifting to the inky sky outside the window.
Wondering already—already—what he can send you next.
Because if this is what it takes to see you smile so brightly from so many kilometres away, Gojo reckons he'll buy out the whole stupid vending machine next time.

Jungkook’s suggestion to explore the nearly empty mall further felt like a dare. One laced with mischief, and I couldn’t resist.
The way he said it, eyes glinting with something wild and playful, made it impossible to say no. He reached out his hand like he was inviting me into a secret, and I took it without hesitation.
The deeper we wandered into the quiet heart of the mall, the more it felt like we were slipping into another world- one where time slowed, and only our footsteps echoed against the cold, tiled floors.
Most of the mall was asleep, the kind of sleep where lights still buzz but shops forget to breathe. Stores sat in silence, metal gates half-drawn, like they weren’t sure if they were open or closed. The hum of old air conditioning rattled in the ceiling, the only real sign the place was still alive.
The air around us buzzed, not with noise, but with something intangible. Anticipation. The thrill of being somewhere we maybe weren’t supposed to be. I could feel it in my chest. In my fingertips. In the way Jungkook kept glancing over at me, like he was waiting for me to crack a smile or challenge him to something.
Then we saw it.
The arcade loomed ahead, tucked at the edge of the corridor like a forgotten treasure chest. Its neon sign still blinked, barely, the letters flickering with fading energy- half blue, half red, all nostalgia. Inside, some machines were lit, others sat in silence. A claw machine hummed softly near the entrance, and the glow from the screen bathed the floor in shifting colors.
I stopped for a second, breath catching. “It’s still open?”
“Barely,” Jungkook said, tugging gently on my hand. “Let’s go wake it up.”
His hand brushed mine again as we stepped inside, his fingers lacing between mine for a heartbeat. That one small touch sent a jolt of electricity through my veins- sharp and sudden, like the moment before a first kiss or a drop on a roller coaster. My heart tripped over itself.
He walked ahead and let go, only to spin around and face me, walking backward with that confident smile of his.
“Ready for some fun?” he asked, his voice low and teasing. His eyebrow piercing glinted in the dim light, and I couldn’t help but smile.
“What did you have in mind?” I replied, playing along.
“A little game,” he said, his lips curling into that cheeky grin I loved. “Winner gets… whatever they want.”
I raised an eyebrow. “Whatever they want, huh?”
“Whatever they want,” he repeated, his gaze locking onto mine.
The arcade was a time capsule, filled with old machines and faded posters. Jungkook led me to a skeeball machine, dusty but still functional.
“First challenge,” he announced. “Whoever gets the highest score in one round gets to pick a dare.”
I laughed, feeling a rush of excitement. “You’re on.”
We took turns playing, our competitive streaks coming out in full force. I threw the balls with precision, but Jungkook managed to edge me out by a slim margin. “Looks like I win,” he said, smirking.
“Damn, you’re good,” I admitted, playfully. “Alright, what’s the dare?”
He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. “I want you to kiss me right here, in the middle of the arcade.”
“That’s lame. ”
Without another word, he pulled me close, his lips crashing against mine. The kiss was hungry, desperate, like we’d been starving for each other. His hands slid down my waist, pulling me tighter against him, and I could feel the heat of his body through his shirt. The thrill of being caught, of doing something so reckless, only fueled the fire between us.
When we finally pulled apart, both of us were breathless. “Give me a better dare,” I said, my voice shaky.
Jungkook’s grin was wicked. “Alright. Let’s see how brave you really are. I dare you to strip down to your bra and panties and dance on this skeeball lane.”
My eyes widened, but the idea sent a shiver down my spine. “What if someone comes in?”
“That’s the point, isn’t it?” he said, his voice laced with challenge.
I hesitated for a moment, then nodded. The idea of being so exposed, so vulnerable, was terrifying and exhilarating all at once. I quickly shed my clothes, leaving only my lacy black bra and panties. The cool air kissed my skin as I climbed onto the lane, the dusty surface slick beneath my bare feet.
Jungkook watched me with a mix of pride and desire, his gaze devouring every inch of me. “Dance for me,” he commanded, his voice rough.
I moved slowly at first, swaying my hips to an imaginary beat. His eyes never left me, and I could see the hunger building in them. I ran my hands over my body, teasing him, teasing myself. The arcade felt like our private stage, and I was putting on a show just for him.
“Come here,” he growled, stepping closer.
I jumped down from the machine, my heart pounding. He grabbed me by the waist, his lips pressing fiercely against mine. His hands roamed freely, cupping my breasts, squeezing my ass. I moaned into his mouth, my hands tangling in his jet-black hair.
“I want you,” he whispered against my ear, his breath hot. “Right here, right now.”
I didn’t need to be told twice. I pushed him back against the pinball machine behind him, my hands working to unbuckle his belt. He groaned as I pulled down his pants, his thick, hard cock springing free. I dropped to my knees, my lips wrapping around him, teasing the tip before taking him deep into my mouth.
“Fuck, baby,” he groaned, his hands gripping my hair. “You’re so good.”
I hummed in response, my tongue swirling around him, savoring the taste of him. The sound of his moans, the sight of his muscular body trembling with pleasure, sent a surge of power through me. I wanted to make him lose control, to push him to the edge.
“Stand up,” he commanded, his voice hoarse.
I obeyed, my legs shaky as I rose. He lifted me onto the pinball machine, positioning me so I was lying back, my legs spread wide. The glass was cold against my skin, but the heat between us was undeniable.
Jungkook didn’t waste any time. He thrust into me, filling me completely, his lips finding mine in a desperate kiss. The machine creaked beneath us as he moved, his rhythm relentless. I wrapped my legs around his waist, meeting his thrusts with my own, my nails digging into his arms.
“Harder,” I gasped, my voice pleading.
He obliged, his hips snapping against mine, the sound of our bodies colliding filling the arcade. The thrill of being so exposed, of anyone walking in and seeing us like this, only heightened the pleasure. I was teetering on the edge, my orgasm building like a storm.
“Cum for me, baby,” he growled, his voice raw. “Let me feel you fall apart.”
His words pushed me over the edge. My body shook as my orgasm ripped through me, my cries echoing off the walls. Jungkook followed soon after, his thrusts slowing as he spilled himself inside me, his lips pressing against my neck.
For a moment, we sat there, breathless and tangled, the only sound was our heavy breathing. Jungkook’s arms held me close, his lips brushing my forehead.
“That was… incredible,” I murmured, my voice soft.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to try that,” he confessed, his voice filled with wonder.
I smiled, feeling a deep connection forming between us.
What started as a game had turned into something much more- a shared secret, a bond forged in the heat of the moment.
There was something unspoken in the way he looked at me now, like he saw a part of me no one else had. The laughter, the sparks, the silence between our words, it all settled into something real. Something lasting.
As we dressed and left the arcade, hand in hand, I couldn’t help but feel like this was just the beginning. The mall lights still flickered, and the world outside carried on, unaware that something inside me had shifted.
The empty mall had become our playground, and I knew there were more adventures, and more dares, waiting for us.

KiNKTOBER DAY 28 ❀ LEON
PROMPT: fucking machine, sex pollen & dub-con
WARNINGS/TAGS: smut (obv), dub-con (typical sex pollen stuff), sex pollen, monster fucking, plant monster, leon is a bottom idk what to tell u
A/N: what can i say, i love torturing leon kennedy<3. I'll be honest, the first version got away from me a little... This is how the fic was originally planned to go, i'm not sure how i got so side tracked lol. anyways, hope you enjoy!! (^_^) art is by @citrine-elephant (lmk if u dont want me using ur art here)
check out the alternative version of this fic here
this fic has nsft content. you have been warned.
Leon's only consolation was that he didn't do this to himself. Not this time at least. He was pushed into this. Tackled, really, by a B.O.W. with more limbs than he'd care to count. Or vines he supposes.
And to think things were going smoothly.
He'd been tasked with the investigation of what was rumored to be a Neo-Umbrella lab, and Leon had been too quick to assume safety, assume the place was empty as it seemed. It was open, empty, and the electricity miraculously still worked – practically a cakewalk. Aside from the absurd amount of plant growth that is.
Thinking this would be easy, though, turned out to be his first mistake.
Now he finds himself strapped into what (uncomfortably enough) seems to be a birthing chair, his legs forceably pulled apart to expose him. He'd be more bothered had he not been drunk off his ass on whatever unknown pollen-like substance fills the strange glass capsule hes now trapped in. Worse yet is his body's response to it all. He's hard, unbearably so. He'd find it humorous if the situation weren't so humiliating. He hasn't had a proper hard on in ages, (he can thank whiskey for that) yet this of all things has managed to do it for him. Pathetic.
A robotic female voice rings out, "Stage One completed. Stand clear of the Containment Area and prepare for Stage Two."
Whatever that means, Leon has no interest in staying to find out. He tries to jerk his arms free of the metal cuffs holding him, but its so hard to think, so hard to move, restraints aside. His body feels heavy and hot, betraying his mind and refusing to obey him. Still, Leon refuses to give in. He continues struggling against his binds, searching for some loose piece, something he can take advantage of. Nothing
"Stage Two activated," says the uncannily monotone voice. As if on cue (which, yeah, it probably is) a loud beep fills the capsule, followed by another wave of the intoxicating pollen. Leon hisses, steadying himself. He's already been exposed to the gas -- or whatever this is, he doesn't need anymore. He draws in several fast breaths, rapidly as he can. He then takes as deep a breath as he can manage, starting from his diaphragm to fill his stomach before letting it expand in his chest. He holds it, starting a mental count. He's trained with holding his breath for extended periods before, a useful skill to have in this line of work, but holding your breath on land is a lot harder than underwater. Without the diving reflex to slow his heartbeat plus his lack of preparation time, Leon estimates he has only about 3 minutes left.
But the machine seemingly had other ideas. Two large metal clamps slam down on his ribs, forcing the breath out of him and securing him further to the chair. He's given no choice but to inhale, coughing and sputtering as he fights to take a lungful of air with his chest unable to fully expand.
"Stage Two completed. Beginning Stage Three," Leon distantly hears, suddenly too dizzy to think. All he can focus on is the intoxicating sweetness of the pollen filling his nose, on how painfully hard hes become, on how restricting and hot his clothes are. As if on command, cool metal of the machine dips down to his stomach, running a blade along the cloth and graciously freeing his erection. He groans, hips instinctively tilting upwards as far as Leon can manage, desperate for friction.
Again, the machine seemingly hears his internal pleas, a small whirl ringing out before he's met with an incredible vibrating warmth around his cock, the sensation alone almost enough to make him cum.
"O-oh fuck--" Leon whines, unable to stop himself. His hips jerk up, gasping as he inhales more of that delicious pollen.
There's another whirl, this time followed by a slick, cold prodding sensation against his ass. He whines, allowing his legs to be spread even further by the machine as the artificial cock slides in. When it begins to vibrate Leon knows hes done for, crying out as he cums, barely registering the high-tech flesh-light sucking every last drop up. Even then it doesn't stop, the dildo continuing to pound into him lazily as it's vibrations intensify. It doesn't stop when he cums again either, it doesn't stop when he's crying, screaming and thrashing against his restraints, brows pulled taught as he whines uselessly in over stimulation. His hips continue to jerk up in time with the flesh-light, body betraying him as he fights to escape the overwhelming pleasure.
Every time he thinks he's finished, that he can't possibly cum again he does, that wonderful pollen filling his lungs and hardening his cock with ease. Gradually Leon finds himself drifting off, having lost track of how many orgasms he's had forced out of him, of how long he's been here. He's stopped caring too. He has no thoughts anymore. No perception of time. No worries. Getting out of here doesn't seem important anymore. This is good. This is right. Leon was made for this.
This is his new home.

Lol, huge Washington fan here. Was wondering if we could have a fic or just some head cannons for him. He's literally my favorite and I would really appreciate just anything for him.
pairing: project freelancer!agent washington x gn!doctor!reader
word count: ~600 summary: he can't get you, the doctor always patching him up, out of his head.
warnings: unidentified plot, secret mutual pining, mention of nightmares, mention of prescription drugs, slight angst if you see it that way, unedited writing, headcanon that wash has blue eyes, i overuse commas, making this while watching a violent asmr video, open ending
notes: Hi.... are you all still here? I've finally gotten back into the grove of writing... kind of! <3 something short but I find it pretty sweet, I'll probably do a continuation of this one later in the future! i've been wanting to do a doctor reader x wash for awhile now, thank you anon for giving me the chance to ^o^ let me know what you guys think!!
---
The sound of a quiet machine humming fills the empty space of the medical bay, everyone out on missions or enjoying a day off in the dining hall.
Agent Washington, however, was spending his evening staring up at the dark ceiling, inspecting the details and structure that made the room while he lay on the less than pleasant infirmary bed.
Stripped of his usual armor, he felt vulnerable— uneasy, but the sound of the automatic door opening with a pair of footsteps he’ll never forget the pattern of instantly puts his mind at ease.
“Wash?” You call out, startled but not surprised to see him on the small cot. He had developed a habit coming to the infirmary when his mind got too crowded, when nightmares chased away his sleep and left him with nothing but panic.
Another reason was to simply see you.
You, a doctor who helps patch up clumsy people like him after a rough mission. So soft spoken and understanding compared to the constant teasing he receives from his team. And your gentle touch, as if afraid to break him more than he already feels he is.
“Hey, Doc.”
A classic nickname he chose for you, using it only so he can see your eyes glint with a playful glare, lips trying to resist a smirk.
He was your most frequent patient, but you never had an issue with that.
Throwing away an orange peel (you just came from dinner, he realized), you make your way to the bed.
Standing at the side, you take in his appearance.
He’s still sporting the bruise from his latest mission, small enough on his jaw to look like a measly bug bite.
His eyes are cloudy, bags deeper than last time he was here.
Nothing too out of the ordinary, you conclude.
“You don’t have a check up until next week. Is something the matter?”
Finally he sits up, legs sliding to rest over the edge of the bed as he stares up at you.
The small pout on your lips makes him want to kiss it away.
“No, I just…”
wanted to see you.
He bites his tongue before the words get out, heart skipping a beat at the idea of speaking his mind. How would you react? Reject him with such a soft tone he can't even be heartbroken? Or maybe, he'll watch your eyes widen as you share the same sentiments, leaning down and brushing your soft lips against his--
He doesn’t realize he gave no response, earning a small sigh from you.
With gentle hands you cup his jaw, tilting his head to examine if there are any sort of external wounds bothering him. Eyes meeting pale blue ones, you quickly advert your gaze.
You had forgotten how beautiful his eyes were. If it wasn't for your self control, you would have told him how they reminded you of the blue skies back at home.
Seeing no issue with his body, you release his head and turn, heading to the locked cabinet on the other wall. A poor excuse to hide your heated face.
You don’t notice him leaning forward after your hands leave his face, seeking more of your warmth, before catching himself.
“Did you have another nightmare?” Softly asking as you rummage through the medicine capsules, waiting for his response before picking.
The simple answer should have been yes. He has nightmares every night, ones that wrack his body in tremors and make him wake in a cold sweat. But lately, they’ve been different.
Instead of moments of war or unbearable pain, it has changed to soft moments with you, a life in the impossible future at each other’s side. Dancing with you under the soft golden haze of the sunset, sharing a cup of coffee in a small house far away from this life, waking up in your arms with no more fears lingering in the back of his mind.
Moments that haven’t happened plague his head, wounding his heart and cursing his brain for giving him hopes for the unattainable. He almost prefers the other nightmares compared to these.
“Something like that,” is his simple response. Giving you a small smile when you turn your gaze back to him, he watches as you come back with the medicine you always prescribe.

The Songs of Freedom Chapter 1: Sätarep

Characters: Sarentu OC named Kirani, Teylan, Nor, Ri’nela, Alma, Mercer, So’lek and eventually Eetu
Synopsis: You’re one of the Sarentu children abducted from your clan, having been put through the RDA’s brainwashing program called TAP Con-1 you find yourself waking up from a deep sleep you don’t remember taking as a resistance member storms the headquarters saving you all.
Warnings: None; just angst, ptsd mentions of past abuse, and childhood trauma
Word Count: 1k
Sätarep is na’vi for rescue
The distant humming of machinery slowly invades your eardrums, with its unfamiliar sound arousing you from this deep slumber you’ve apparently been in. Your lashes begin to flutter as if coming out of a deep lucid dream, feeling your fingers twitch gently coming back to life. The echoes of thrumming technology somehow begin to get clearer and clearer opening your eyes to harsh fluorescent lighting. Your limbs feel stiff and unmoving, as your feeble attempt to rise up is met with an awkward thud. You try once more and look around you as your eyes struggle to adjust to your surroundings. Looking to your left you see a confused Ri’nela almost mirroring all of your own actions.
Your heart begins to pick up speed, fueling the confusion with an uneasy sense of dread. “W-what happened?” You hear a soft whimper from Teylan, as you whip your head to the sound of his voice. You rub your eyes for good measure swinging your long limbs out of what seems to be a cryo chamber. “What?” You croak out. Your vocal chords strain themselves from lack of use, clearing your throat for good measure. “You made it.”
You look to see Teylan, Nor, and Ri’nela all slowly rise in disorientation out of their cryo beds looking to the source of the sound; Alma. “Oh… I’m so sorry…” You hear a tightness in her voice that sends an eery chill of doubt down your spine. “Alma what is this? What happened?” Ri’nela asks urgently.
You jump out of the cryo chamber capsule and run next to Teylan as the group forms out of defense like you used to do as children. “I….I’m so sorry…all of you.” Alma hesitates to speak. Nor’s expression slowly dissipates from the skepticism… to realization. “You did this to us?” He accuses harshly.
All four of you exchange silent looks of horror, turning to Alma as she struggles to explain herself. “They made me. When the war started it was this or….” She trails off in an awkward stutter. “You betrayed us?” Nor steps closer to her, causing a cautious step back on her behalf.
Your mind begins to spin out control in a state of shock like an ice bath being injected straight into your veins. “How long have we been in cryo sleep for Alma?” You ask reluctantly. You and Ri’nela exchange a worried look and turn back to Alma watching her close her eyes in shame and sigh.. “15 years..” Her words feel like a blow to your chest, with the air from your lungs completely seizing all at once. 15. 15 years of suspended animation? How was this possible?
“No no that can’t be possible we would’ve remembered!” Ri’nela pleas out. You can see the fear seeping into her eyes as she slowly comes to the realization that the mentor you looked up to as children would betray you this. “You don’t understand! Mercer ordered to have the rest of you killed, as the battle started.. I stowed you away to save your lives.. I never wanted this to happen.” She raises her hands frantically waving them as a metaphorical white flag.
“Oh my god..” You whisper, grasping what she’s done, weighing like stones in your heart. “You evil bitch!” Nor launches himself at Alma, just as the red emergency alarms blare into the room loudly. All of you freeze in panic looking around the dark room now lit with an insidious red glow just as a loud explosion occurs. The sound of distant screaming and machine guns echos in the hallway getting closer and closer to you, “What’s going on!?” Teylan’s voice panics at the loud sounds.
Your ears fill with the hissing from the many rounds of ammunition hearing the RDA soldiers fight this mystery intruder. “Go! Get out of here, now’s the chance-” Alma attempts to plea as Nor digs a sharp object into her abdomen. Before you can even process what he’s done a large figure rushes out of the corridors into the main room. A tall slender Na’vi decked out in military gear and war paint carries a large machine gun looking around the space slowly. All of you stand together stunned with terror and uncertainty watching Alma choke on her own blood falling with a loud thud.
The slender Na’vi man speaks “You are Sarentu?” His voice booms with confidence watching you all with a stoic look on his face you can’t quite pinpoint. “Sarentu… No one has ever called us that.” You reply with a shaky voice. The way his lips curl up into a smile sends a shiver down your spine. “Come. You no longer have to live at the mercy of the sky demons.” He replies. He straps his gun behind his back stepping nonchalantly over a writhing Alma, and up to the group of you. “Stay back!” Nor points with his handcrafted weapon, but it doesn’t seem to bother this man in the slightest.
“If you wish to live, follow me.” He nods his head in the direction of the emergency exit door to the far right. “How can we trust you? Who are you!” Ri’nela demands. The stranger stands tall and takes a sympathetic sigh, “I am So’lek, member of the Resistance against the sky people. Once Trr’ong, and a warrior of my clan. I thought the Sarentu were long extinct, but new intel has proven me wrong. Get your belongings and follow me.” He says with booming conviction.
The four of you all exchange looks, slowly thinking about the chances you’d even have alone in the facility, having just been woken up from a 15 year sleep you don’t remember taking. You swallow your pride and blooming fear, as Ri’nela speaks “Where are you taking us?”
So’lek smiles back, “Resistance HQ, we are a movement made up of both Na’vi and human allies..” You observe the way he hesitantly states the last part of his sentence, as if reluctant to credit the humans of being considered credible allies. “We have no choice. We’d die here without Alma. Mercer will kill us all..” You state frantically.
All of you begin to salvage whatever items you hold dear, which include a toothbrush, grey t shirts, and a bead you saved from when you a child that you assumed a family member gifted you. You scatter together awkwardly looking at the lack of possessions you all own after being completely stripped of your native identity your entire lives. A wave of guilt and doubt riddle your mind, thinking about how you’re about to leave behind, all you’ve ever known.
“Let’s get of this hellhole once and for all!” Nor shouts. “This isn’t a good idea! How do we even know we can trust him! Mercer has given us everything we’ve ever needed!” Teylan begins to get hysteric. You see his eyes widen in clear fright as you follow So’lek to the emergency exit, “We have no choice Teylan! We belong in the forest! Pandora is our home!” You can’t help but yell in frustration. You all knew what this metal box has done to you. The house of horrors has done nothing but inflict physical and emotional trauma on the four of you. And it ends today.
“Come… Your new life awaits you.. all of you.” So’lek smiles. Just as you make way to follow So’lek out the emergency door you hear the thud of loud footsteps. “There they are! Get them!” Mercer’s voice echoes in your ears, as you all scream to escape. “Run!” So’lek shouts making sure one by one you step out the door as he releases rounds of bullets at the soldiers.
The group of you narrowly clear out and awkwardly thud onto the lush grass of Pandora. Staring at ground, you slowly rise and take in your new surroundings. The distant memories of your life before TAP are all but a blur. Cloudy visions of a lullaby, a bonfire, swimming in a river, and eating delicious fruit feel like a dream. “Oh my god.” Nor whispers in wonder.
Back when you were children anyone who spoke of the forest would be placed in solitary confinement as a punishment. You and Nor spent the most time there.. “We should go back! This was a mistake!” Teylan whimpers in fear. “No this is home. We belong here.” Ri’nela states. “Do it for Aha'ri.” You look to each other with sad eyes, tears brimming at the thought of your dead sister who lost her life to an attempt to escape all those years ago. In that moment, you knew you’d rather die than ever go back to this place again. “Follow me!” So’lek suddenly bursts through the doors and runs into you, watching him in horror as the sound of guns continue. You all take off into a sprint following him into the thick of the Pandora jungle, running into your newfound freedom.

I want to also thank @onigirimiya11 for proof-reading this and helping me with editing, and my younger sister for being a beta reader. Once again, I hope you enjoy this! :)

8:45:15 PM – November 13th, 2042
Kamski University – Detroit, MI
Raindrops fell upon the dim lit streets of Detroit, puddling and creating mirrors and portals to another universe. The arched building of Kamski University pointed at the sky, as if it were pointing to a god. But there was no other god in Detroit besides Elijah Kamski himself. Android mastermind, a scientist who played god, created machine so close to man, perhaps even a mirror of man. He lived away on the outskirts of Detroit, away from the public eye.
Students at Kamski University were some of the most brilliant minds, only a select few could be enrolled after passing a complex exam along with a few other tests of intelligence. Many looked up to the students at Kamski University. Young, intuitive, dedicated researchers were a model for students all across the globe. They followed the steps of Kamski, working on technology to further advance what man has created, to be better than before. Why play god and end what you have done when you can raise demi-gods?
Many scholars at this time spend their hours working on a project, a new advancement for Detroit, or researching a new discovery, in hopes of clarifying what it would mean for the world. It was never about themselves, it was always what they could do for the future, for Kamski.
She sat there staring at the laptop screen, sorting the lines of code into a more organized unit, the numbers and commands becoming a language that she understood by heart. It was like a tongue that she grew up with, a song that she has recited plenty of times. It started to become a blur in her eyes, the numbers not making sense like it used to a minute ago, the errors in her code becoming more prominent. Her eyes strained at the glaring screen, searching for a solution that wasn’t so evident.
Frustration was building up inside of her, a beast that was starting to be awoken with one small mistake, a monster that could snap at any given moment. She got up and shut the laptop closed, removing the irritating lines of code out of her sight. Her hands reached to her bag, to the door handle, and out of the confining dorm room.
Few minutes from the campus of Kamski University was a museum, a time capsule embedded into the center of Detroit, moments of history frozen into one single place all together. The rain blurred the sharp corners and lights of the building, fading it into the background of the large, noisy city.
She stepped inside of the museum, the soft glow of the lights inside pulling her in further, lulling her into a calm state of mind, a gentle focus on the artifacts on display within the museum. Her footsteps echoed in the almost vacant museum, making it evident that she was allowed to be lost in her own world for a fragment of time.

10:20:38 PM – 13th November, 2042
Little Caesars Arena – Detroit, MI
The Florida Panthers won an ice hockey game in overtime against the Detroit Red Wings, causing the city to sulk in its loss while the rowdy players filled up a local bar to celebrate victory. Matthew Tkachuk was a well known name amongst hockey players, making his way to the Hockey Hall of Fame with his dedication to winning the Stanley Cup, and with his latest game, scoring the winning goal in overtime.
“C’mon Chucky, just one drink at the bar, please!” Lundell pleaded. “You scored in OT! We’ve got to celebrate right?” He searched Matthew’s face for an answer.
Matthew shook his head and sighed, “No, sorry guys.” The group of men groaned and threw complaints around for a bit.
“Just one drink, Matty,” Lucas said. “and then you can go do whatever you want.”
“No, I’m sorry, I just want to relax and go to sleep early tonight guys,” the chorus of groans and sighs started again.
“Alright guys, let’s leave him alone now. He kind of does have a point,” he went off. “Hope you have fun though Matty.”
Matthew nodded and gave them a tight-lipped smile before heading down the street away from the crowded bar. The small corner-shops and store-fronts passed by him like a hazy memory as he walked down the street. Some stores with toys he played with as a kid, books that he got lost in as a young child.
His footsteps were leading him elsewhere, and he was wandering around the streets of Detroit aimlessly. Wanderlust was drifting around within him, like a young child with freedom in an amusement park full of stuffed animals on display, and the sickly-sweet smell of treats hung around the corner.
The fuzzy city skyline of Detroit painted the night sky, replacing the stars with man-made ones. Dabbles of blue hues hung in the air against metal skyscrapers that grasped the sky, reaching for something above the stormy dark clouds.
He stood on the museum steps, taking in everything that was in front of him. The columns of the building towered over him, the soft glow of the museum pulled him in, the gritty aura of Detroit this late alongside the unpleasant weather conditions seemed to force him into the museum.
And there he stood, inside the museum, seemingly alone with all the trinkets of history. Soft, blue lights illuminated the artifacts and sculptures in the museum, and occasional warm yellow lights hung around certain displays like fireflies. Paintings aligned on the wall stared back at him, peering at his every step deeper into the museum.

11:04:53 PM - 13th November 2042
Henderson Museum - Detroit, MI
She walked around the museum for a little while, getting lost in the taxidermied wildlife displays. She saw how eerily still the lion looks in a defensive stature against another lion. The simulated background looked so realistic, as if she was there right in front of the fight that was presented right in front of her.
In another, she saw a sleuth of bear cubs fighting each other playfully in a forest, their paws up in the air defensively, mouths agape as if they were caught mid-roar. She smiled softly at the thought of animals experiencing joy just like humans do.
As she wandered around the dimly lit museum, she became more entranced than before, each display more immersing than the last. She observed the great blue whales that seemed to float across the ceiling of the museum slowly, the jellyfish that drifted in a rhythmic motion around the center, with different soft translucent colors floating against the blue ocean above, and starfish of varying colors and patterns clung onto the walls, decorating them in a constellation only found on Earth.
Her footsteps led her along to a small library in the museum. It was well furnished with some small tables and a couple of chairs, as well as some cozy cushions that were sat on a rug that was on the floor. Old-fashioned oil lamps were hung against the wall, giving the room a warm yellow glow that comforted her how Detroit couldn’t. The tall, oak-wood bookshelves were well stocked with encyclopedias and textbooks regarding various subjects that the museum displayed.
She reached for a book that sat on top of a table nearby one of the bookshelves and picked it up in her hands. Examining the cover, she noticed it was 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, a childhood classic of hers. She daydreamed about exploring what could be under the ocean surface, what kind of creatures she would see, and all the sorts of tales she would be able to tell.
As she took a step backwards, she accidentally bumped into someone behind her, which startled her for a brief moment before she let out an apology.
“I’m so sorry I didn’t see you there-” she laughed awkwardly as her face became flushed in embarrassment.
“No no, it’s alright.” The man smiled. “It’s pretty late anyways so I didn’t expect another person here either.” He chuckled.
She sent a friendly smile back, observing him lightly, noticing the mop of curly hair on his head, the little gap between his front teeth, and his warm, soft eyes.
“It’s nice to meet someone in the museum, even if it’s this late ya’know,” he laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. The warm glow of the library illuminated his gentle smile and friendly demeanor.
“Yeah it is, even if I wanted to be here alone, it’s a bit nicer having someone around,”
“Ouch,” he feigned a feeling of hurt, “trying to kick me out of a museum now?”
She quickly tried to sputter out an apology but he finished his thought.
“Just kidding around, sorry. I understand sometimes though, it was pretty cool seeing the museum being empty with no people inside,” he said as he looked at her, “or at least, when I thought there were no people inside.”
Her head nodded in agreement before adding on to his statement. “No, yeah, totally agree. Detroit really outdid themselves with this museum.” She set the book she had previously picked up back on the table nearby her, before turning back to him. “And dare I say, better than the development of androids?” she smirked.
He scoffed, “What makes you say that?”
“Know a few things here and there.” She shrugged.
He looked at her skeptically before continuing to speak again. “Well it’s nice having some company, want to walk around the museum with me?”
“Yeah, sure, that’d be nice,” she smiled.
“Great! I really wanted to explore the planetarium exhibit. I've always wanted to learn more about the planets, but I’ve never had enough time to because of-” He quickly cut himself off before he started rambling. “I’m so sorry, I ramble sometimes,” he said sheepishly.
“No it’s okay, I like hearing you talk.” She looked at him warmly.
He felt himself blush and it seemed like it was just the both of them in the museum, with all the time in the world to explore whatever their hearts desire. “I’m glad to hear that.” His smile was bright, the little gap between his teeth making him look all the more sweet.
She stood near the open doorway of the library and motioned for him to follow along. “Should we go check out the planetarium?”
He nodded and gave her a soft smile, to which she started walking towards the planetarium. They both exited the library, and the warm, mellow glow of the library subsided. It was replaced with a cool, deep blue cast, the signature of Detroit was evident. As they both got closer to the planetarium, stars began slowly appearing on the ceiling, little white dots glimmered against the dark background, mimicking the night sky if it wasn’t so harshly wiped out by the cities.
He could hardly make out her silhouette in the dim lighting, which worried him a bit, because he didn’t want her to get lost or separated from him. As he thought about it, he found it odd that he was worried about her, having just met a half-hour ago, but he pushed the thought aside and reasoned it as ‘basic human morals’ to care about losing a stranger that he had just met.
They both reached the planetarium and were greeted by an android staff member near the entrance. “Welcome to the Henderson Museum Planetarium. How many occupants are viewing the show today?”
“Just two,” he said.
“Wonderful, please follow me,” the android instructed.
They both followed behind the android and into the planetarium. It was a large setting, a quiet and dark circular theater and a large dome-shaped ceiling hung above their heads. She looked up in awe, seeing how full of grandeur the planetarium was.
“Holy smokes, this is-” she paused, “spectacular.”
He stood beside her, looking upwards as well, but he was held speechless. His heart felt so full of lovingness for the moment he was held in. He moved his gaze to her face, noticing her wonder for even just the empty theater, and the beauty she held was amplified tenfold by her desire to explore.
The speakers in the theater announced that the showing was about to begin and viewers should be seated to best enjoy the experience. Lights around the theater began to dim, and they both took their seats.
As soon as they were both seated, the large dome was lit up with a vivid projection of the galaxy, the Milky Way was stunning with all the hues of blue and purple bands on display. Stars were scattered in different variations, and some shone brighter than others.
“This is gorgeous,” he spoke breathlessly.
“It really is.” Her gaze was still held in the magnificent view in front of her. He looked at her gently, observing how the stars reflected in her eyes, and how she was so captivated by each description of the galaxy.
He thought about holding her hand for a moment, the feeling of having her hand in his in a gentle clasp, sharing this moment together.
“Can I ask you a question?” he whispered softly.
She turned his head to him, her attention broken away from the dome above. Her head nodded as a response.
“May I,” he paused, “may I hold your hand?” Time froze as he waited for her answer. Was he being too forward? His stomach fell, he started to regret even asking the question.
“Sure thing,” she responded with a soft smile. Her face was dusted in a blush, as he held his hand out to her. She gently put her hand within his, resting it peacefully. His heart fluttered at the touch and she felt the same way as well. A fuzzy-warm feeling drifted over them like a blanket, and he wasn’t sure if it was because of how late it was in the night or if it was the warmth of her hand in his.
The display went on, multiple planets and moons being described with intricate detail, their bright and yet soft colors spun in front of the sparkling stars. The moment went on as if they were floating amongst the stars and planets without anyone else. It felt so surreal to be in a situation like this, away from all the stress of reality.

Henderson Museum - Detroit, MI
As they both exited the museum, hands were still intertwined with each other closely, the harsh winter air of Detroit struck them both, causing them to shiver. He glanced over at her and noticed how much colder she seemed, and how her grasp on him was closer than before.
He took his jacket off before offering it to her, “Here, take my jacket. Don’t want you to catch a cold or anything,” he said.
She accepted his offer and put the jacket over her shoulders, already feeling how much warmth it provided. “Thank you so much, but what about you?” she questioned. “I don’t want you getting sick either,”
“I can handle it, I’m a tough guy,” he chuckled.
She nodded her head in response as they started walking down the street. His cologne was slightly noticeable on his jacket, a calm and yet bold scent. The rain had eased at this hour, but the cold weather had not. It was much more quiet without cars and traffic in the street, and it seemed much less like the noisy Detroit she knew by heart.
“Sorry if this question is personal, but are you able to get home? I can call a cab if you want,” he asked.
“No worries, I’m able to get home easily.” She smiled. “Just a brief walk to the university down there,”
He nodded in acknowledgement, allowing the peaceful silence between the two of them to linger in the air. As they continued walking, the realization struck him, he was most likely never going to see her again. He didn’t want her to leave his life, he wanted to spend more time with her like this.
“Can I get your number? I mean,” he corrected himself quickly, “so that we can talk again. I really enjoyed tonight, even if it wasn’t planned,”
She found his awkwardness endearing and she smiled back, “Of course, I really enjoyed tonight as well, even if it was unexpected,”
They exchanged phone numbers and she looked up at him. “I am so sorry, but what’s your name?”
He then realized that he never even told her his name, to which he responded with embarrassment. “I am truly sorry,” he chuckled, “my name is Matthew.”
“That’s a cute name, do you want your jacket back Matthew?” she asked.
“No thanks, it looks a lot better on you.” He winked.
They both laughed as they parted ways, the sparks between them ablaze, their hearts both warm and content with what they’ve shared and the memories they’ve created.

links and titles to 2023 works
[cw's nancy drew] couldn't help noticing the gold mines glistening in your skin (3,966 words) - a birthday gift for bethany! what if nancy and ace hooked up pre-canon?
[never have i ever] one more last try (4,323 words) - for the girlies* who were/are incensed that the nhie writers had the audacity to make bad benvi sex canon and then UNINTERESTING. *it's me, i'm girlies
[cw's nancy drew] first contact (849 words) - nancy and ace texting can be poetry if you hold my hand and just believe!
[never have i ever] answering machines & how your voice says it’s gonna get back to me someday (3,163 words) - devi and ben's relationship through their first year at university as told by the voicemails they leave each other
[never have i ever] a lie away from getting you into the mood (77,482 words) - i mean. how could i possibly sum this one up? d/b FWB, sure, but also so much more than that. bitty spark 'verse pt 2.
[never have i ever] to nestle deep into the safe-keeping (3,440 words) - in a now time-honored tradition, i wrote rose some smut for her birthday! d/b being soft and in love their first year of university.
[cw's nancy drew] it’ll hurt like a mother when your foot comes out (2,228 words) - drew crew hike to commemorate a real life hike! fun!
Favorite Fic: 'gold mines' is a strong contender, but. you know it's 'lie away'. how could it be anything else? i spent a year and a half writing it and i finished the fuck out of it despite the tornado that stirred up my personal life this year. i don't know that i've ever been prouder of a fic. almost certainly not.
Hardest Fic: also 'a lie away'. the amount of material that i wrote and then scrapped because it wasn't right was A Lot.
Do You Plan to Take Prompts in 2024? haven't done a prompt game in a while! think it might be time to pull out that song lyric one, i've been gifted some exceptional music that way.
that said, though, when i do have all day to sit down and write, i've found myself more interested in chipping away at something longer-form. then again, it's been a while since i exercised the prompt-filling muscle in my writer brain, and i don't want that muscle to lose definition entirely. we'll see, i suppose.
What was the best thing about 2023? I FUCKING FINISHED 'A LIE AWAY' I DID IT I DID IT I DID IT
What was the worst thing about 2022? woof. i sure did split from my partner of a decade. which has actually been incredibly good for me, but living through it was a bit fucky, as you can imagine.
which makes this a great time to nod at 'answering machines' for being perfect creative fun and getting me out of my head during the worst of the breakup. looking at the title alone can make my brain stutter, though, it's a time capsule from such a tumultuous period in my life. probably doesn't help that i used a song from my unofficial breakup album to title the fic. i love you, 'answering machines'. i cannot fathom rereading you at this time.
Any last thoughts for 2023? i am content. the year was good to me, all things considered.
Goals for 2024
fuck around with devi the vampire slayer
original fiction???
fall head over heels for another show
continue writing devi/ben even if the audience for it dissipates entirely
#fic roundup#fanfic#i didn't meet the word count goal i'd set for myself#but i honestly don't care#you know what i did do?#FINISHED 'A LIE AWAY'#fuckyeahfuckyeahfuckyeahfuckyeahfuckyeah
