I just listened to this episode of Chalene Johnson’s podcast on my way into the city and.. I am definitely 1000% an over thinker. I mean, I knew that. But listening to her take on overthinking and how detrimental it can be to a person’s mental health, it makes me realize that maybe it’s true. I constantly think that this is just how I am but hey. Maybe not. Maybe that can change.
I’m not a self-help podcast gal myself.. in fact if I’m listening to a podcast there’s about a 99.9% chance it’s true crime of some sort. But I’m starting to think peppering in these uplifting type podcasts could help get my mental health into a better more positive place. Who knows.

Chose to do a cardio day today over a rest day. I noticed yesterday that on one of my ChaLEAN Extreme DVDs there was a free bonus workout called Fat Blaster. Popped it in today and there was Chalene punching, kicking, and dancing around the floor in Turbo Jam! Haven't tried this workout before but I loved it! Definitely will be looking into this one and Turbo Kick for my next workout programs! Always enjoy your workout so you'll stay consistent but make sure you're challenging yourself so you'll meet your goals!

I am plus size and a true beginner in yoga. I love share my raw journey to fit. It was born out of my frustration of seeing just the highlight reels or the “after” of the process and not the struggle. In this video you will see how I modify triangle, a warrior option, the figure 4, and goddess squat as I learn to listen to my body and build in my ability through my practice.
I am not alone in this journey as I have a group of plus size women in my support group and we are on this path, as beginner yogis, and all plus size.
